 Corabell Kiremono~Hufflepuff First Year~Half-Blood The snow had tapered off, making it easier to see. It was still bitterly cold though, and Corabell was glad to be bundled up. The quaffle bounced back and forth for a while before Gryffindor retained control of it just long enough to make a shot. Corabell moved to intercept... Her shot....had gone in? She blinked in utter shock. How? She hadn't even been trying, and half the time when she was trying she couldn't make shots. She sighed and watched the ball fly through the air towards Adalaide. She might as well try and intercept right? Then maybe she could win the game for Gryffindor and then maybe.... probably not... but maybe she'd prove something to Cam.

Suddenly, the quaffle was in her hands, and she actually laughed in joy. Maybe she wasn't as bad as she thought she was? But more likely everyone else playing was just younger or less experience than her and therefore just sucked more than she did. Which was hard to do... but you know apparently possible at the moment. Or maybe just for now, nature was on her side and giving her a tiny bit of luck. Maybe the universe wanted her to impress Cam? Hah. The universe on her side that was a good joke... probably just playing a cruel trick on her.

It's like we're chasing all those stars ❀●•♪ђufflepuff ❀●•♪ђalf ๒lood❀●•♪ғirst ұear❀●•♪   Olyvia gasped as Elli shot through and grabbed the quaffle mid air. That was not cool. The young first year shot after the third year, reaching for the quaffle. So far she had been great at stealing, so maybe this time would be just as good.

Elli dodged a steal from the tiny first year Hufflepuff and smirked ever so slightly. Whatever. Even if it was a cruel joke that the universe was going to play on her, she'd take it for now. Until it turned ugly.

The third year apparently wasn't as good at Quidditch as she seemed to act sometimes, even if she was Gryffindor's vice captain.
