She couldnt tell him that the second apology because she wanted to be closer but couldn't at least not til she could keep her powers under control. Rika could tell that Kaname looked disappointed when she apologized again she felt guilt. He started speaking but Rika was so distracted by her thoughts that she only heard 'Its ok, Rika.' She figured it had to be something important but since he didnt continue she didnt push him about it. He'd probably tell her when he was ready.

She smiled at him brightly when he suggested the pond. "Ok, l-let's go there I actually l-like being near w-water," she said. It was true but she also got flashes of memories of what she had done in the past. Maybe she would be able to tell him a bit more about herself. Even the bad stuff... what if he stopped talking to her afterwards. Maybe she wouldnt tell him everything yet... just a little bit at a time. After all she wanted to know more about him as well.

Rika laughed at Snowball seeing her excitement while she jumped. When they arrived at the pond she looked to snowball who went off toward the water and then to kaname who had sat down and was asking her to sit next to him. "She is too cute," she smiled watching the little fox. She had to take off her coat to place on the ground so her underskirt wouldn't get stained from the grass. She usually felt confortable wearing anything but was self conscious when she was with him.

Rika noticed the awkward silence between then she wanted to tell him more about herself but wasnt sure if he'd want to listen to girl her age to tell him her life's story. She looked out to the water. "This place brings back a whole lot of memories," she said. "There used to be a place like this in Germany. I did many terrible things while wearing this uniform."

Rika looked at Kaname with a more serious expression. "Well then I guess I'll start with our names...My real name is Maria Beilschmidt and Riku's is actually Gilbert but we changed our names when we escaped to Japan. Anyway before that we had been living in Germany for many years and some how the military had heard of twins with extraordinary powers so they captured us. They also had gone after a whole lot of other kids who had powers they wanted to use us in a war. Unless we wanted to be shot on the spot we had to comply. They put us through a lot of dangerous training, and I'm sorry to say that a lot of them didnt make it. One day I was told I would have to destroy 50 men at once and they handed me this uniform. It was made specifically for the girls who, like me, had powers. I guess they figured if the enemy ever captured us we'd be able to seduce them or something. They put me out a lake telling me to freeze it and make it look like land so I did as they asked. I froze a large portion of it making it like they asked but then when the French troop of men fell into the water they used my lightning to electricute them, all of them," Rika looked apologetic. "After that first mission, I was given another to seek out spies and take them out individualy by seducing and then killing them. I couldnt do it as soon as I got close to one of the guys sparks would go off. So if I was going to kill them anyway... I used my power over lightning to disrupt the electrical impulses in the brain. I had changed from someone like the me right now to someone who took pleasure in the pain of others. Eventually the military had to produce a collar and bracelets to control my lightning powers. After the war ended Riku and I were not allowed to leave. They kept us there until the next war. The Fuhrer had heard of all the things I had accomplished for Germany in the previous war and kept me as his prized pet. He wanted to kill my brother because he had shown no signs of having powers but I told him I wouldnt fight for him if my brother was gone. That fuhrer kept me more busy than my other boss. He had me killing civilians, freezing them to death, electrocuting them, shooting them, exploding, even destroying their homes with Grenades." Tears escapes Rika's eyes. "Innocent people and children in Germany and Poland. They jumped out of windows with their children to keep them safe, but we..." she was unable to go on the memories were causing her to choke up. She wasnt planning on saying everything but she did. She couldnt stop herself from sobbing heavily.

Rika sniffled as she tried to hold back her tears. When he touched her face she was surprised not because he was touching her but because there were no sparks coming from her. She was even more surprised when he hugged her and there was still no sparks. She latched onto his shirt as she cried still trying to stop herself from crying too much. "S-sometimes I hear their screams in my head and then I hear the old me. Its like she's another person trying to show herself," she said as her tears slowly subsided.

Rika rubbed her eyes only few tears rolling down her cheeks now. She nodded at Kaname's question. She really didnt hate anyone. She could probably say that she hated the furer and the other boss she had for making her do what she did but they were long gone now. "I dont hate anyone," she sniffled. "Please dont tell Riku I said any of this. Nobody is supposed to know."

The good memories this pond brought her were from Japan when her and her brother lived together. "This pond is also like one in Japan where Riku and I were taken in by a kind old lady," she smiled. "But when she found out we werent aging normally she threw us out on the street. I don't blame her not many people are accepting of us. Then again, in Prussia Old Fritz took us in and treated us like his children."
