Marcus sighed as he looked at the fire for a few moments before shrugging. "Just thinking about everything we've got to deal with when we get back to Death city. It's been a while since we were there so I'm kind of excited to get back, but worried about all that we're going to be up against." He sighed as he just shook his head again.

Marcus stared at her for a few moments before smiling. "Well 21 is pretty easy, you just have to get as close to 21 as you can without going over. The king, queen, and jack are all 10 and the ace is either 1 or 11. The object is to get higher than anyone else while still staying under 21." He explained the rules since it was a simple game of math, he figured she would pick it up quickly.

Marcus finished and looked at her for a few moments before smiling. "Now you check your cards and add them up and if you feel you can get closer to 21 without going over then you say 'hit me' at which point I give you one more card. If you are at 21 or are close enough that you don't want to risk it you say 'stay' at which point it's my turn to try and get up to or as close to 21 as I can. If you go over 21 then you call 'bust' which means that I win even if I only have 3." He explained the rest of it now that they had cards before looking at her and smiling as he waited.
