(Don't worry about it, I'm a patient person.)
"This is going to be perfect, you'll see." Angela smiled at her soon to be daughter-in-law. She then turned to the mother. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have one dish from both sides appear in each other's wedding plans. Something traditional that's been in the family's recipes for generations."
Ryan raised a brow. "From now on? It became hectic the moment those two learned of each other." He knew it wasn't going to be the same anymore, not when those two became "best friends" of sorts. Heck, he wasn't sure if Angela was going to get off this high anytime soon.

Araima looked at Gale with a smile, but her eyes betrayed her unease. Their enthusiasm was a bit scary. She turned back to her parents. "Just remember. Not too much. I want to simple and clean." she added.
(Hmmm... should we do a time skip?)

(Yeah, question is how long of a timeskip would you like? I'm thinking a few hours after the parents go home since it's Araima's first time living in Gale's world. Then from there, not sure how long you'd like to skip.)

(I, uh, what? o0) A few hours later, Gale returned back to his parent's home after taking Araima's parents back home safely. They were going back to his place, a doable, but rather lengthy walk. So for her sake, he decided to take Araima there by public transportation. "Ever heard of a bus in your world?" He asked her, this was going to be fun to show her otherwise. He didn't recall seeing anything like that while he was there, not even a bus stop.

Araima was a little sad to see her parents go. But very excited about seeing how Gale lived. She was surprised that they weren't staying at his parents house. But she suppose it made more sense to go to Gale's. At his question she frowned. "What's a bus?" she asked, puzzled.

"You don't have any buses? Well its a form of transportation, it comes to certain places on a schedule and you pay money to use it. Just gets you where you're going faster." He explained to her, he pointed to the signs that mentioned that the bus stopped here.
"It should be here soon."

Araima shook her head. "No. We walk most places. And places that are too far to walk we use a... Time Door, as it would be called in this language. Helps us step from on place or the other. Or by horse. Or other ways." she said with a chuckle. It was then that she heard a strange noise. It sound turned into a odd sounding roar and it came up. It was huge and rectangular with tinted windows. It looked like the oddest over sized and warped closed top carriage she had ever seen. She took and involuntary step back. "Oh." she said, at a lose for words. "Is... is it safe?" she asked nervously.

"Time doors, huh. Thats another interesting thing about her culture." Gale thought to himself. Soon enough the bus did show up, only to bring about Araima's nervousness.
"Perfectly safe Raima, I've used these all my life." He helped her up the stairs first, before doing the same and paying for them both. There was only seat left, so he stood in front of Araima. Many wandering eyes looked curiously at the expecting mother, few even complimented her appearance and congratulated her.

Araima sat down, jumping a little as they started off. She was gad that Gale was standing by her side. After a few minutes she relaxed. However, one hand remained on her belly. She smiled kindly was a murmured thank you to those who complemented her. She remained polite, thought she was a little surprised at all the attention. It wasn't hard to see a few eyes darting her away. She tired not to let it bother her. She was sure they didn't mean anything. It wasn't too long of a ride. Looking out the window she saw several more of the vehicles like this. Except much smaller. Like sleeker carriages. She would have to ask Gale about them. Soon she felt the bus come to a stop. She looked outside at the scenery. It was both familiar and strange. Like seeing her own town and it's building but warps. More... uniform. "Are we here?" she whispered to Gale.

"Almost, this the city Araima. Its a nice place to live, but so cramped at times with so many people in once place. Not the best place for well, us to raise a family." Answered Gale, there was a few more stops to be had before they got to the housing district.
"Now we're here." He helped Araima up to her feet and off the bus. The home he managed to purchase was not too far from the bus stop, about as much of a walk as it was from his parents house to their bus stop. The house was kinda small for a human house, but a decent amount of land to be had.
"Well, this is my home now. If you don't like the area, we can always sell it and try again..."

Araima looked at the neighborhood as they walked. The houses were close together but not really all that close. Her town had similar areas. But just like the city she was struck by it's familiarity and it's strangeness. And odd mix. She looked at his house. It was neat and uniform in make, like most of the houses they'd seen. She wasn't sure Gale was right, It was maybe a bit small but cozy. Enough yard space. "No. It's... different than I'm used to but not bad. Can I see the inside?" she asked, stepping up to the door. She was eager to see the place that her husband-to-be lived.

Gale half smiled, stifling a bit of laughter. "Of course, I didn't bring you all this way to just look at the outside you know." Taking a set of keys from his pocket, he unlocked the door to his home and let her inside.
"Take a look around, I'll be right there." He said as he carried her things up to his room. four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a master bed and bath a basement, attic, family room, a kitchen, and a swiming pool and front lawn made up the home. Though a good portion of these rooms were empty.

From the front the house looked small but walking through it she could tell the the house must go out back some. There were plenty of bedrooms, rooms and attic and basement. This house had plenty of space. It was perfect. She couldn't think of it as small. He wondered briefly if he got a house with so many rooms so he could fill it. The thought made her head whirl so she pulled that away for a few years. Araima joined Gale in his room. "It's perfect. Kind of big for just the three of us, but it works out if we were to have visitors." she said, sitting down. "Of course, I'll have to get used to the neighbor hood, but it should be a problem."

Gale turned around, he was happy she liked what she saw about the house. "Well, it's no mansion, and the rooms are kinda small. I'm sure we can turn one into a nursery, another into the son's room and the last two as being guest rooms or something." He explained to Araima, he understood why it was small to her. Compared to her, humans were pack rats and reproduced like rabbits. He kinda had that mindset when he bought the house...
"But I'm glad you like it Araima, lets hope you and the neighborhood like each other." He said with a smile. He sat down next to his wife-to-be. "We'll be living half of our lives here together, I almost can't believe that."
