Faust would say he was taken aback by Rednal's remark, but honestly, he knew the guy better now. And while it sounded incredibly insensitive....It actually wasn't. Though they didn't show it, Faust and him were good friends, after all.
"I dunno.." he stated lightly, his eyes glancing to the side. "I watched over her after what happened the previous night... She was in the hospital all day, because the Messiahs snuck up on her after....What happened at Junes."
He cringed a bit, recalling the horrendous monster that was his shade. Part of him wanted to retch in memory of his darkest, deepest feelings, but there was no way to say anything in regards to it. It was...too much to really bear.
"Then..when she woke up, we were talking..." he started quietly, shaking his head. "Said she thought she felt uncomfortable about her standing with us. She felt like an accessory..or something.."
His hand brushed some hair out of his eyes, as he sighed deeply.
"Said she wanted to feel like more than something of mine. Wanted the team to look at her as a person..and not just someone conjoined with me."
A wry smile made it's way to his lips, as he closed his eyes.
"So..I kinda guess the answer is...Yes? Maybe....Iunno.."
He was clearly upset about it still, but things would eventually get better...Hopefully.
'Not a whole lot I can think of for it to sink more.'

 Rednal Ak'ThiasRednal took another long drink from his fruit juice, savoring the taste, as he considered Faust's words. For just a moment, the face of his Shade - a zombie-like murdering machine - flicked through his mind. "...It's not completely the same, but I don't feel very important when Soji's around." he said, popping a piece of fruit into his mouth and chewing before swallowing. "Actually, it's kind of a regular thing for me - plenty of people don't agree with my solutions to problems, and there are times when I feel like just another piece in the machine... but I keep doing things anyway because I think it's necessary." he bit into another piece of fruit, clearly thinking. "I guess what I'm saying is... if it's meant to be, you'll come back together. If not, don't worry too much - just focus on being the kind of guy you want to be and let things play out as they will. You know we'll always be here for you if you need us - or if you just need a good kick in the rear - so don't beat yourself up over past mistakes." Yuno
"And in the meantime, sit down and have breakfast!" Yuno said, putting her hands confidently on her hips. "We still have plenty of waffles, and you can't do anything without food!"

Faust listened to Rednal talk about how he didn't feel important when Soji was around. A small 'snrk' escaped the boy's lips as he shook his head.
"Yeah..I know..." he mused, not clarifying which statement he was agreeing with. Even if Rednal wasn't...the best at this kind of motivational speech, he could still feel a bit relieved at having someone at his back. Even if it was still..a bit bothersome.
"Breakfast sounds great." he called, reaching for a fork..before pausing. "Oh, but there's one other thing..Not as gloomy...But...Just as strange.."
He took a breath, as he tried to find the words...Though, it was less a matter of his face looking distressed...and more, it was a bit awkward to say. Hard as it was to meet the girl's eyes, he eventually managed.
"Someone....told me that Yuno..." he stated, trying to put it into delicate terms. "...That she.....how do I say this...."
He closed his eyes and took a breath, before figuring he'd already just said things once..he'd have to do it again.
"Said something about a 'Bathroom Stink Bomb' Incident....That she was going to get in trouble for."
....
Somehow, that one sounded even weirder to him, and felt stranger than any amount of depressed, distressed confessions. He didn't even know what to make of it....
She'd always been the model kind of student from what he knew of her...So, a prank seemed a bit beyond her...Much less, one as childish as that. and yet...the way the people were reacting..

Rednal Ak'ThiasYuno and Rednal both looked blank at that one, and after a moment, Rednal shrugged. "I heard someone did it, but I don't think it was her. I mean, if Yuno did it, she wouldn't have been caught." he said loyally, and the girl grinned. Yuno
"So, what, do they want me to stay away from school for a day or something?" Yuno asked, kicking her legs back and forth. "I wouldn't mind, really. I'm kind of tired after last night anyway - that'd be the perfect excuse for a break." Turning problems into advantages - the hallmark of students everywhere. "Not worth worrying about, I guess. Maybe it was that girl who looks a lot like me that did it... I'll have to ask her about it later."

"Yeah, I don't think she did it either." Faust added quickly, showing whose side he was on as well. It really didn't seem like something she'd do, and he didn't want them to think he was doubting her. "Something like that..yeah. Suspended for a day..or something.."
Faust slumped a bit, the dark bags under his eyes a bit more prevalent this morning than the previous one. He'd still barely obtained any sleep...and after the previous night, things weren't looking any better for his fatigue.
"I...Think I might need to skip today too." he sounded lightly, rubbing his eyes. "Been feeling...really out of it lately. Even before last night."
He'd been rather out of it the past few days. Perhaps it was all finally catching up to him? The fatigue from his Shade..The Tournament..The breakup....
'Ugh..'
He lightly held his plate up for some waffled, stifling a yawn.
"Then again..never been much of a morning person." he added, lightly. "And...Breakfast hasn't really entered my system yet...Maybe we should fix that, before anything else."

Once again demonstrating exactly zero hesitation in her daily life, Yuno calmly pushed another bit of waffle into Faust's mouth. It actually looked like she was having fun feeding him, and would probably keep it up until the food was gone unless somebody stopped her. Seriously, though, it had been a long night - and she hadn't heard about some parts of it until later on. Something about a hot springs... and a no-good evil conniving harlot witch who'd dared to- ahem. Well. That was the past. "Maybe you just need better morning food. What's that E... eon... Eoria girl doing?"
...Sleeping, mostly.

Faust opened his mouth lightly, taking the bite of waffle with a small smile. She always was really sweet with him...
It just also was more literal this time, with the delicious syrup. As Keira mentioned the morning food, he gave a small smile, and shook his head lightly again.
"Eoria...tries really hard." he started, lightly. "She makes good food...sometimes. But, other times, she tries to experiment and....It ends..."
What was the term? Soapy? Fluffy? Contradictory?
"...Unique." he decided on, with a small cringe.

"Cooking is science! And power." Yuno said, setting a bowl of fruit in front of Faust before plopping down at the table and happily digging into her own meal. "Mostly power. Still, you can't make anything fun if you never try anything new. Experimenting is good!" Except when it wasn't, but hey, you had to break eggs to make omelets. She popped a bit of food into her own mouth, munching happily. A whole day to just rest and relax, hmm? That could be quite nice... and she wanted to talk to her for a bit anyway.

Faust smiled lightly as Yuno mused about cooking being science and power. He reach for a bit of fruit at this to eat with the waffles, putting it into his mouth.
"Experimenting is good....So long as you don't experiment with cleaning products." he started, munching on a strawberry. "I think I saw someone putting together some kind of...fancy stuff at the school. Is it time for a festival already?"
He kept eating as he spoke, idly wondering. He originally would have gone with Eo or Kusu, but....With the way things were, he wasn't entirely sure he wanted to go.

[9/16 - Early Morning] Rednal Ak'ThiasRednal yawned a bit as he woke up, somewhat amazed that things hadn't been exploding last night. If anyone had asked, he would have laid excellent odds on that happening, and he took a deep breath, then carefully considered his options. Well... guess it was time to be responsible, then. Outside the house, a relatively new figure could be seen - and Kyori smiled patiently as she waited for someone to answer the door, nodding and greeting Aselia as the other girl let her in. It was a day of rest, and that was a good start! Since rest didn't mean lying around doing nothing, and Kyori hummed happily as she bustled into the kitchen, put on an apron, and got started on making a meal. Western style would do nicely - some eggs as a start, and then... ah, yes! <3

Rednal Ak'ThiasRednal let out a sigh as he sat down at the breakfast table, smiling at the gathering of friendly faces... and with his chopsticks, he picked up a bit of sizzling beef that had been cooked over the stove and put it into his mouth. ... ...! !!! "THIS IS DELICIOUS!" he said, gobbling up some more of it. From across the table, Kyori giggled. "Oh, good. I was hoping you'd like it." the messenger girl said, a fluffy tail popping out and flicking happily back and forth. "I don't just like it, I love it. This is seriously good! Thanks!" he said, meaning it with all of his heart and wasting no time at all in continuing to eat. It was juicy, flavorful, soft, easy to swallow... how did anyone even LEARN to cook like this, and more importantly, would she be willing to do it more often? He'd been a bit hesitant at first, but this food sealed it - Kyori was welcome here, dangit. What he didn't see - because he was too busy eating - was the small smile on Kyori's face as she watched him eat the meal she'd made. <3

As Rednal and Kyori would enjoy their meal. [each in their own way] though, another smell would fill the air.
Something...that sparked more than a fair amount of smoke, coming from the back of the house. What's more, the sounds of a window breaking could be heard throughout the Area...As something was occuring.
Someone was attacking! And if one went to the back, there would be white-hot Flames of a familiar origin to Rednal....
Nuclear energy. Yet, as one would likely go...
Something was in the house. The question was, what?

Rednal Ak'Thias"Aselia!" Rednal cried out - and his girlfriend didn't waste a single moment in darting to the side, grabbing Kyori as she went. All right, the two of them would circle around... and meanwhile, Rednal darted over to the window, grabbing his gun as he went and charging his magical energy. Someone wanted to attack his house, did they? Well... he'd just have to return the greeting, then. Out of the corner of his eyes, he also noticed Korina darting upstairs, probably to get Yuno. With all of them together... he was pretty confident in their chances, actually. And who knew? Maybe Soji would stop by... Quote: Rednal is searching for the attacker (from cover).

  ???As Rednal would look about his home, the nuclear flames starting to spread inward...And in place of the window...There was a single...large rock.
Korina would get a less than pleasant surprise as well, a sudden blast of physical energy would slam into her as she started up the stairs. It seemed that the invader had broken in through a window....
But, as Rednal would no doubt turn, a set of bloodied bandages, and a pair of scissors could be seen on the floor a short distance from the rock..and...
No doubt...
"It's me." the boy called, a surge of nuclear flames burning all the area around Rednal, but not enveloping him. It seemed he knew the discrepancy in their powers...And was going for a different kind of attack."Sorry sweetie..but orders are orders." Suigetsu called, twirling his spear. "I don't wanna have to try to kill you..So, do me a favor, and lie down for a bit, wouldja?"
