Of course that was all the way back in the late summer weeks, he didnt know if she'd remember. "Well, it didn't bloom when I expected it to, but now the buds are beginning to loosen. She tried to remember what exactly happened, but shook her head because she couldn't seem to remember. Letting the thought go, she looked up at Alexander with excitement in her voice as she said, "Tonight?"

It seemed like a while ago, but Danny was sure she could remember it. It wasn't that much of a memory, just because they hadn't known each other for that long. After a few moments however, she decided to ask for some help. "Alexander, do you remember the first time we met?"

She looked down at Rasiel, who was still in her arms, bundled up in her scarf and his hat. "Anyways, this flower. It was still a bud?" She was itching to see it, better yet see it bloom.

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗"Quite a few, actually." Alexander said, leading her on. Way in the back, in the shadows, was a now huge plant. The vines were peppered with buds as large as Alexander's outspread hand. He beheld it proudly. "When it first started getting large I tried cutting back its nutrients, but instead of slowing its growth vines started dying, so I gave them back." He said. "And look here." He said, lifting a bud. As he did so the vine wrapped around his arm gently. He didn't seem alarmed by this but instead pointed at a seam in the bud. "See? It's loose now." He said as the vine went further up his arm and began to wind around his neck and up his head. He laughed lightly as it did so. "I think this is just it exploring. It's done this before and always retracts."╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

She cringed a little as it snaked its way up his arm, and she was a little frightened as it went all the way around his head. Since Alexander didn't seem alarmed, Danny stayed calm. "It's... enormous," she said, eying the plant a little cautiously.

When it made it to the floor it began to retract quicker than it'd wrapped around him. "It's not carnivorous." He said. "I've looked it over and don't see anything it may use to digest meat. I've even tried to feed it a vole Rasiel captured but it just sat there until Rasiel took it back." He said. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

"I bet you were happy after that, huh?" she said, looking back up at Alexander and his plant. "Hopefully I'll get to stay long enough to see it bloom, she told him. She was still a little wary around that huge plant, but she was better than when she first saw it.
