Shikori Kazayu, Namihana Kazayu  Namihana snorted at Kin's admonishment. "Who said I found it funny? I find it less than amusing. Besides... if you knew my past, you'd realize just how brutal some peoples' lives have been," she said, her voice dropping so only Kin heard the last part. "There's a reason why I wear this, and it isn't a pretty tale," she murmured, glancing away. She blinked, spotting her brother's pale brownish silver hair reflecting the dying sunlight, though at that moment it looked more like silver dipped in blood.

Kin's ears drooped down at her response. He had just jumped to conclusions. Kin may have been abandoned as a baby, but other than that he had never really known hardship at all. He looked sad, like he was torn between wanting to defend Aura, and not wanting to offend Namihana further. He picked up his note pad and wrote out a response.
"I'm sorry"
It read, he suddenly flippped the page and another response was allready written out.
"But just because you've been through hard times doesn't mean you can down play when something bad happens to others. Infact you should be more sympathetic because you understand what its like"
It read. His eyes locked with hers, a mixture of apology and defiance in them. He noticed Glass threatening her, but turned to her and shook his head. Times like this they shouldn't be fitting, not when they still didn't know what happened to Aura.

Shikori Kazayu, Namihana Kazayu Namihana sighed. "It is fine; I am not used to spending much time around others, as my brother and I... aren't exactly normal even among those here," she said quietly. She shivered slightly, unimpressed at Glass' threat, but recalling something similar to what she suspected had happened to Aura. "Our father murdered our mother... then tried to do the same to us, but underestimated us both," she whispered. She exhaled, her form rippling slightly as her own foxish tail, deep slate gray colored fur tipped with black, materialized. She wasn't really offended by the admonishment, though she wasn't quite trusting of these people around her, though they were clearly different from her father.

Kin ears drooped down even lower to the point they were pressing against his head. Why did it seem like every single person he met had a really depressing story? and why did they all have to tell them on the same day? Not only that they had the issue with Aura to deal with as well, and they didn't even know exactly what happened. Kin wasn't sure he could take all this depressing stuff for much longer. He missed the circus, nothing sad or depressing happened there.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know."
he wrote out. He then wrote out something else before hanging the pad from his neck. Then taking a careful step towards her he reached out and took her hands in his.
"we should try to make happy memories from now on though. So enough sadness and arguing. Can't we just be friends?"
the note pad around his neck read, though it seemed to be addressing everyone really.

(but seriously though we can't go five minutes without someone having to tell their sob story. Its getting ridiculous)

Shikori Kazayu, Namihana Kazayu Namihana exhaled, shifting. "I remember seeing flyers for something called a 'talent show' in a little less than a week; maybe it is possible for a few of us to attend it," she said thoughtfully. She suspected it was obvious that she had never been to a talent show nor really did she know what one was.

Kin looked surprised to hear that there was a talent show. Suddenly his grip on her hands tightened and he leaned in really close smiling and nodding
"that sounds great. Infact I think I'm going to enter myself, I'll be able to show you all my routine"
he wrote out to them, starting to get excited. He hadn't gotten to seriously preform since he came here, and the thought of being up on stage again was getting his blood pumping. Infact it actually looked like the boy had sparkles in his eyes. However this excitement faded quickly when he turned to see Aura still unconcious in Glass's arms. They still had to find out what happened to her, and he was jumping around thinking about doing his stupid circus act. His ears drooped low as he walked up to Glass and placed a hand on Aura's cheek. He really wished he could help her, but there was nothing he could do, it made him feel useless. The deerkin glanced up at the sky again, the sun was just finishing it decent, the last light of the day fading away as night started to settle in.

Shikori Kazayu, Namihana Kazayu Namihana exhaled explosively. "I would try to help, but demonic energy in large amounts is dangerous to most other races... in small amounts it can heal, but it's still dangerous," she said softly.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm  Traces of hostility vanished from Glass's visage as Kin and Namihana's conversation continued. The former was doing a really good job at damage control. Glass now focused her attention on the unconscious human. Tattoos on the direwolf's arms began to glow as she hummed an ancient lullaby. It was said that if paired with angelic powers, the song eased the ones that hear it and slowly heal their wounds—both emotional and physical. Glass had yet to actual perform it, since she was still to inexperience. Nonetheless, Glass hoped it would rouse Aura from her slumber.
Instead of remaining where she stood, the direwolf started towards Royce's cabin. It was getting darker by the minute. Keeping an unconscious human girl out in the open was practically asking demons to take her. Glass was having none of that. She was sure Kin would also appreciate it if Aura was somewhere safe. Kaosujin Ryu Shikori Kazayu, Namihana Kazayu Namihana shifted her weight, pushing off sharply into the air and vanishing in a burst of black mist that nearly blended in with the deepening night. She materialized on the porch's railing, crouching as if she'd just landed from a leaping jump, which was true.

Kin sighed and shook his head at Namihana's suggestion. It sounded to dangerous, and they didn't know how hurt Aura allready was. Plus she was human, so she might react differently to demon energy. Still he gave her a small smile, she was atleast trying to help, and he appreciated it. He watched as Glass took her inside the cabin, and looked around at the surrondings. Aura was down, Royce was just plain gone, despite the fact that the food was still cooking it was pretty clear the barbecue was over, before it even began really. Kin jumped when Namihana suddenly disappeared into the sky all of a sudden. She was a mysterious person for sure, but the least she could have done was say good bye. Kin mutely sighed and followed behind Glass into the cabin. He tapped her on the shoulder and held up his note pad to her.
"you can go eat if you want. I know you were really hungry, and I don't think anyone else is going to eat it. So its better not to let it go to waste. I can take care of Aura for now"
it read. He smiled tiredly at her and scooped up Aura and brought her over to gently lay her down on the couch. If she didn't wake up soon they might have to go get the school's medical staff to check her up. He glanced out the window, the sun completely gone now, now only the moon and the stars in the sky.

Shikori Kazayu, Namihana Kazayu Namihana whistled as Kin walked towards the cabin to get Kin's attention. She slid silently off of the porch railing and followed after them. She glanced back at the rising moon, a small smile flickering over her face. She turned and gasped as she collided with her brother, who was standing with a smirk on his face and a blond neko girl a few feet behind him looking around in confusion. Shikori chuckled as his sister turned around and spotted him an instant before they collided. "You call me clumsy, imouto... fortunately I have something that may interest that deerkin and the direwolf," he said with amusement, glancing back at the duo as he drew out a small pale blue scroll. He flicked his wrist, extending it and tapping a mark on the thick paper. Almost immediately a burst of mist and smoke blew outward, dissipating swiftly as a delicious aroma built swiftly in the air. It revealed a three foot tall, foot and a half wide, sealed pot full of jumbalaya. "I always make sure to carry food sealed away just in case, and considering what I know of direwolves' appetites and of course Nami-imouto and mine..." he said with a small teasing smirk.

Kin looked around hearing a whistle and noticed Namihana, so she hadn't disappeared just jumped to the railing....for some reason. Kin didn't really understand it much, but neither did he question it, he just smiled and gave her a small wave.
When the two kitsunes followed them inside Royce's house and one of them summoned a huge pot of rice Kin raised a brow at him. He took out his notepad and began writing out on it.
"I appreciate the thought, but that angel lady allready cooked a whole lot of food, we're trying to make sure the food we have doesn't go to waste, so we really don't need more of it"
it explained, an apologetic smile on his face. The issue wasn't they didn't have food, it was that they had to much and no body wanted to eat it. So his gesture, while nice, was completely redundant and unnecessary.
"..........................................."
(since you missed it, Royce's NPC allready cooked the fish, three huge sides of beef, and prepared a huge salad, we really don't need any more)

Aura could see images floating by her in a whirl surrounded by darkness. Memories..? These aren't mine.. The thought sickened her a little as she realized these were memories of the previous owner of her new eyes. Suddenly as quickly as the memories appeared they faded until she suddenly opened her eyes to see someone carrying her towards a cabin.
When Aura's eyes opened, a hint of angelic yet also demonic aura came from her eyes, though only a slight hint, just enough for anyone who could sense such things to question where it came from. Though it wouldn't take long as anyone could see that Aura's eyes were glowing red in the shadows after the sun had gone down. "You can put me down now.." Her tone was thankful, though she seemed to feel awkward about thanking someone for carrying her. She turned to look around, the first time she had seen the outside world in a few years. She spotted Kin and seemed know it was him from feeling his horns--she still thought it was a hat by her next words. "Kin.. That antler hat really seems to suit you..!" She blushed slightly at realizing her words might sound weird, but it was the truth.. Also it was her way of trying to avoid questions about what had just happened to her.

Hearing Aura's voice took Kin so off guard that it literally caused him to drop his note pad to the floor. He slowly turned around to see her looking at him, LOOKING AT HIM! Without a word, written or otherwise, Kin rushed over to the couch and hugged Aura tightly. Her eyes might have looked oddly red, and he still didn't know what had happened, but at this brief moment he didn't really care. He was just glad she was allright. He hugged her for a long time, before slowly letting go and reaching out of his note pad. As he wrote his hands were shaking, feeling a little weird that he was actually writing this out for Aura. Slowly he turned to her and held it up.
"Are you ok? thank god your awake!"
the words were written scratchily, but Kin's expression was able to communicate the message just as well as any words could.

Segarus Selene Hagisaka Segarus had a slight smile on her face- barely noticeable very faint. She was about to explain her unnatural blood that should have gotten her killed when she was born but hey she's alive now right? She noticed Lance had his hands clenching really tight that they were almost digging into his very palms. She quietly took one of his hands cautionly and unclenched it as she answered his question. " This is sadly my first year...my father was a demon assigned to conquer the Japanese lands...however almost started a war with the human warriors there...which was in my case my mom. She hates me enough said...so I just been living with my dad and uncles. It's just been me and them for as long as I remember, my dad took up a job as a demon hunter-the irony ya know?- and one of his clients had informed him about DHS so ta da here I am now..." she gave a hesitant chuckle when she looked back up, her blue eyes meeting his. ((Meep o.o))
