Ouch! That had hurt. The girl stopped spinning after she had collided with something solid. Rubbing her head, she glanced up to see the entrance and the statue she had unwillingly bashed into. Smiling hesitantly, she tried to shake it off. Why did she keep heading in the wrong direction? Shrugging once, she took off spinning once more. She mustn't give up!~
Momo would however swiftly find that her attempts were thwarted by the presence of another large solid object. Ironically this object was the second statue at the front of the gym. Apparently the youth had been spinning so much as to alter her sense of direction...or she was just dizzy. Either way she'd still failed to leave the entrance, but it was still better than falling down below! Just two gears in the right direction and she'd find her way!
Ow, ow ow. That had really hurt. The second hit had been a little harder and she almost fell to the ground. Ugh, this wasn't going too well. The girl couldn't spin at the moment. Instead she started stagger walking. She would have to do this for a little bit to regain her balance and her senses. Trying to push back the pain of her throbbing head, she began moving forward!
This time Momo slipped in some oil. Slipping downward, she would slide. Once she came to a halt, she was farther away then before! This really wasn't going well. Not one to give up- the girl continued stumbling forward!
Meanwhile Snow had fallen asleep half hanging on to a piece of machinery she'd been repairing. My her challenger was certainly taking awhile, but she was certain the confrontation to come would be glorious!
Stepping off the last spinning gear Momo would at last find herself clear on the other side of the Gym standing on...yet another gear, no wait, it was a cog! One with a large PokeBall shaped symbol on it, and standing at the side opposite from Momo , a giant clockface at her back, was Snow Grimalkin, though the woman wasn't quite as the girl would recall. Still standing only at 5'6 with her hair tied back by a large rubber band, the woman had however noticeably changed her attire. Now she was wearing a black pair of coveralls, though they'd been left unzipped and halfworn with the sleeves tied around her waist, her upper half covered by an oil and grease stained T-Shirt, along with a pair of rubber work gloves, and matching boots on her feet. With an impish grin the woman adjusted the goggles on her head "Welcome Challenger to the AvaVillage Gym! I've always believed Pokemon and Trainer are like Clockwork, if the gears don't mesh it'll never work! Through many tough trials and tougher battles you and your Pokemon have come here! Now let's test the strength of your bonds!" The woman declared in a rather official sounding tone of voice before reaching in to the pocket of her coveralls and withdrawing a Pokeball "This'll be a three on three battle! GO MAGGIE!"
Momo looked pleased. She had finally made it to the other end of the gym! And now she was going to face a gym leader. This was going to be interesting. Smiling brightly, she then pressed a button on her belt. Out popped the Larvitar in a flash of red light, ready for battle!

"One of those tips eh? Well don't under estimate us! Maggie use Thunder--" A loud beeping at Snow's risk would abruptly cut off the woman's words and causing to exclaim with irritation "Oh fine! Maggie Supersonic!" The Gym Leader commanded. Either someone else was helping her battle, or she'd created a device to counter-act her somewhat ridiculous personality. Considering the argument of the later statement, anything was possible!
Doubtless however Ryuu would be more interested in the inch in diameter piece of floating metal several meters ahead. With magnet's wobbling and sparks showing at the ends, the Magnemite would produce a high pitched grinding sound, at the pitch beyond what Momo was actually capable of hearing Ryuu would be forced to tune in to a sound very much to a pair of very sharp nails dragging against a chalkboard...made entirely of metal. Music to even the most tone deaf ears it was not.
The Larvitar looked at the pokemon and realized it was another electric type. Today was really full of battles, wasn't it? The dirt eater looked at the Magnemite and then it started making a horrible noise. Wincing, he proceeded to distract himself- much like he had done when the Pikachu had growled.
