Nami began to purr as he stroked her fur. She could remember the times when he used to do it. She even remembered all the time she had spent with him.

Slowly Maximus hand grew heavier as sleep started to take over him. He had his staff beside him on the ground while he was leaning against the tree. His hand became still while remaining on Nami's fur as he fell asleep.

Damian stood as he cleared his throat. "Well, I'll take the first watch. You all need to sleep anyways." He looked at the elf and then jumped into the tree.

Rose looked up at the tree then closed her eyes shrugging it off and quickly fell into a light sleep. Her arms behind her head acted like a pillow and her ankles were crossed in a way it looked uncomfortable.

Nami did not fall asleep. She was wide awake now. Her thoughts were drifting back to the days before she became a monster. She was especially getting hung up on her first, and last, kiss. Nami closed her eyes and focused, reaching for her Human form. It was still there it just was weaker than it had been. Her body slowly began to change until she was Human. In this form she was as weak as a cub but she had wanted to see if the old mage had really healed it.

Damian watched over the group as most of them had fallen asleep. Something was going on with the shape shifter though. He wondered what her story may be.

Rose woke up and looked around as if someone was around. She felt afraid and wasn't sure were she was. Her head and heart were pounding really bad so she got up and walked to a river.

Maximus slept well enough before he felt something shifting under his hand. He slowly woke up and looked to his hand and what was under it. "Nami?" He asked as he saw someone that was human where before there had been her.

Nami smiled at him and slowly sat up. "It seems I do still have my Human form," she murmured, shivering. She was used to having fur to keep her warm. In her current state she only had enough on to cover what needed to be hidden. The rest of her was exposed.

Maximus muttered a quick spell that warmed the air around them up some as he looked at her with surprise over riding everything else he was feeling.

"Do you not like this form," Nami asked slowly. "You saw it once before. I guess the old man only sealed it away until it healed. Looks like it has."

"Its just that. I didn't think." Maximus worked to get himself to say. His hand was still on her side, and her skin was warm against his hand. "You caught me off guard." He admitted after a moment of silence.

Damian looked around and then left the shape shifter and mage to be alone. He noticed that the elf wasn't there and then saw her walking toward the river. He decided to follow her from the trees. "No need for her to get hurt again," he mumbled to himself.

Rose closed her eyes and took off all of her weapons except for a dagger before jumping into the cool waters. She swam under the water for minuets at a time then sank to the bottom with her eyes shut lightly. Her thoughts continued until she ran out of air so she swam to the top. Rose broke the surface and gasped for air and smiled knowing that she wasn't alone anymore.

Noticing his presence was known, Damian jumped to the ground. "You know, it isn't smart to just go off alone." He smiled as he walked to the edge of the water. "Even if only for a swim."
