Blade winced at what Noah described, knowing that this was going to hurt. But there wasn't much choice. It had to be done. She just stood ready for her part.

Ginger barely noticed anyone else. She did feel Noah bracing his legs on either side of her to keep her on her side and curled up into him as she tried to breathe through the pain. She felt his hands in her hair as he tried to soothe her but knew that it was impossible. She knew he'd be able to feel her increased temperature as she fought off the symptoms from the silver but there was nothing to do about it. She could feel the stuff burning through her leg bone and literally made it feel like her leg was on fire.

"I'm sorry..." she said over and over in a soft whisper. Razor knew that she wasn't apologizing for the injury. She was apologizing to Noah. He knew that his sister was expecting to die from this and was apologizing for leaving Noah without his Mate...

He gave a heavy sigh and ignored his sister's words, instead he spoke to the others around them, "I know Doc got out most of the bullets, that's how we knew what they looked like. But I didn't know he left any of them in. That was three weeks ago," he said with an emotional growl over it.

Ginger winced at the growl and blinked open her eyes, "Two... He couldn't get two of them..." she whispered softly then panted for a moment to explain, "He thought they went through. I didn't figure it out until the ship," she finished, revealing that she hadn't told any of them at all about the other two bullets currently drilled into her thigh bone.

Razor growled again and closed his eyes as he lowered his head, unable to say anything as Nora put a hand on his shoulder.

Wind limped into the courtyard with Egan, the Alpha's hand on the small of his back as the beautiful male limped over to see what he could do to help. He assessed her condition and winced, knowing full well how bad it is. He looked towards the door just as a traffic jam of bodies showed Griz, Veresia, Sebastet, Bane, Khajhan, and Jenny all coming out at once.

Bane nodded for Jenny to help, "She's an actual medic. Let her help," he said simply then backed off so that he wouldn't be in the way.

Sebastet passed over the silver kit to Wind who unrolled it right next to himself as he shifted his bad leg so that he could sit more comfortably, "We'll need hot water for the poultice when we're ready for it. Clean bandages as well," he said simply then looked at Jenny, "Blade can open her up for us to get to the bullets still inside of her. But we're going to need an actual healer as well. I can contact one but I don't know if she can come. We have to get her stable for now. Unfortunately we don't have a way to get the silver out of her system..." he explained calmly.

Blade nodded, "I can make the cut clean. She won't even feel it until it's done. Your job is to get the bullets out. Apparently, they're drilled into the bone," she explained simply and pulled one of her longer daggers, "Wind. Get with Sebastet to call Sasha while we do this part," she told him simply.

Wind looked up at Sebastet then gave a shrug of one shoulder as he moved a hand in a circle in the air in front of himself, calling his fire to open a visual call of sorts, whispering Sasha's name in the process.

Sasha looked startled at the sight of the flaming oval hanging in the air but recognized the caller, "Wind?" she asked simply.

He gave her a nod, "We need you. Silver poisoning. It's bad, Sasha. We need you now or she won't make it," he told her simply.

Sasha didn't hesitate, "I'll come. I'll bring help as well. Give me an hour. Make sure there's room for two," she told him simply then moved off to get Dancer and Amir ready to ride two dragons as she led the way outside and shifted. She had Dancer ride Indra since he knew how, she would take Amir since she could keep him in place without issue.

Wind shut it down then looked at Jenny, "Let's get started," he told her as calmly as he could.

Griz looked over Ginger and gave a deep rumbling growl at her condition then looked at Veresia, "Is there anyone in the Demon Realm that can Call silver?" he asked her simply. Sebastet heard that question and moved over, "I can open a portal but I cannot go there. If you have someone in mind I can open a portal for them to come here," she told her in a soft tone, grateful for Khajhan's hand on her shoulder.

She glanced over the twins with the bears and knew she was going to have to eliminate the spell she could feel on them. But she wasn't sure about the right time to do so. Right now, they had Ginger to take care of. Maybe after this....

Sebastet held out a hand towards one of walls of the barn and formed the portal to Al'gaan's estate then let Verisia do her thing. While Sebastet couldn't leave the island, she was one of the best with making portals.

Griz watched it all then approached Razor, "I'm not much good here right now so I'll head inside. I got a note that Pops was arranging housing for now. I did scout out some caves that looked promising for the Den to take up. Sebastet did promise us Sanctuary here but said we could move to the Demon Realm if we wanted to. We have options. For now, we rest and recover. Ginger can have the suite next to mine, you can take the one on the other side of hers. I'll square it up when I go inside," he said softly then put a hand on Razor's shoulder before heading back inside.

Blade didn't say anything as she went back in, fully intending to go to the kitchen to arrange for meals to be delivered then heading to her own room to wait for Wulfric.

Ginger just curled into Noah, grateful that his legs on either side of her kept her from moving. She had her arms wrapped around his waist had her face buried in his shirt as he held her. She stayed quiet as Jenny worked to get the two bullets unscrewed from her thigh bone then pulled a third that was resting against the bone.

The two that had screwed into the bone had dropped their loads of liquid silver into the center of the bone and explained her high fever and general weakness as well as her constant pain.

Honestly, it was a miracle that Ginger was still alive at this point....

Razor nodded to Griz as he left, all his focus on his sister and Nora's hand on his other shoulder to keep him in place. If it wasn't for Nora, he'd have shifted and gone on a rampage by now. Especially when he saw three bullets come out of Ginger's thigh instead of two.


Wind handed the pouch back to Sebastet since Jenny had rejected it and his help then worked on getting a proper area for the two dragons coming in. After that, he let Egan coax him back to their rooms.

Razor finally backed off a bit when Jenny got his sister stitched up, putting himself on a bench and pulling Nora into his lap so that he could bury his nose into her neck and let her honeycomb scent soothe him while he held her. As a bonus, it let her close her eyes and let her use his scent to help ground her a bit better.

Bane simply nodded to Blade and Griz as they left then gave Egan an understanding smile as the Alpha carried Wind away. It was probably for the best anyway. Plus, it thinned the crowd a bit.

He narrowed his eyes as he watched the sky, looking for Sasha. He was tempted to take off himself to make sure she arrived safely. He held back, though. He wasn't sure why, but he had a feeling that was because he knew Indra wouldn't let her flu here alone.

Ginger cried silently from the pain, not wanting to tell Jenny that the morphine she'd given her had only lasted through cutting her open. For some reason, painkillers never worked for long with Ginger. So she'd always just dealt with whatever pain she'd had. Now was no different.

But Goddess! It hurt so bad!

Only Noah holding her and petting her was keeping her in place and keeping her from screaming.


Bane finally shifted just a bit as he caught sight of something on the horizon that quickly clarified into two figures in the sky, approaching fast. Another moment and he had to give a soft chuckle.

Sasha was ahead of Indra by a large margin. She was easily out flying the male and Bane did not envy him trying to chase her.

It wasn't long before the two dragons circled briefly then began to come down. Sasha backwinged a few times then shifted above the ground, giving Amir enough distance to shift to his hyaena to land next to her. She instantly moved to the group on the ground, wincing at what she was picking up from the female on the ground.

Next down was Indra, using Sasha's trick a bit higher above the ground with Dancer shifting to his snow leopard to land gracefully next to Amir and rub against the hyaena in a brief tease before he moved to get someone to grab a couple pairs of pants for them.


Meanwhile, Sasha moved to kneel next to Ginger and gave a soft sigh before waving Nora to come over as well then looked over her shoulder to the others, "When you're dressed Amir, I could use your help with this. We have a little bit more than expected," was all she said to him, not sure how much the twins wanted to reveal just yet. But she could help stabilize their senses a bit to help them adjust easier.

At the same time, she could only help Ginger with the pain. Until they got the silver out of her system, that was the only thing she could do.

She placed a gentle hand on Ginger's shoulder, "I can only pull the pain for now. I can feel that the silver is deep inside the bone. It's been there long enough that it's spread through the marrow of the entire bone. Too much longer and it will spread. I don't want to fully heal you until it's out," she explained honestly in her soft soothing voice.

Ginger swallowed hard then hiccuped a little bit as tried to catch her breath, turning her head to look at Sasha. She finally gave a jerky nod then turned back into Noah.

Sasha didn't turn as she felt Amir approach behind her, "Two on sensory overload. Can you get decaying blocks in place to help them adjust easier over time instead of all at once? All I can do for this one right now is full pain absorption. Blocks won't work with her. Medication doesn't. Cases like hers are rare but they do come up here and there. All you can do is pull the pain until they can be healed," she said to him.

To everyone else, it would sound a bit cryptic. But she did that on purpose. Only another healer would understand her fully. She knew that most medically trained people wouldn't fully understand what she'd said.

Except for the bit about medication not working. She heard Jenny suck in a sharp breath at that but didn't give it anything major, "You couldn't have known, girl. Just accept the accomplishments you've made with this. You got the cause of the problem removed and you tried to give her something to help. It's the best thing you could have done for her. Accept it and move on," she told Jenny simply.

Then she braced herself for the pain she was about to take on, "When I get finished with this, she needs to be carried to a bed. As carefully as possible. She slightest shift can make the silver flow out of the money and hit her bloodstream," she added, still in that soft calm voice of hers.

She kept her brown eyes on Ginger's thigh as she gently placed her fingertips on the skin. Only Indra would notice the tiny flinch she made as she started to pull the pain...

Ginger gave a gasp as the pain finally started to fade then slowly relaxed until she passed out from the relief of pain.

Partway through the process, Sasha felt Amir put his hand on her shoulder and helped her pull the rest of the pain. Honestly, there was enough pain there that Sasha couldn't hold it all at once.

Still, she finally sat back and felt Indra helping her to her feet, "Once the silver is removed, Amir will be able to fully heal the leg. Until then, it's better if she doesn't move much. If she could sleep until then, it would be best," she advised as she leaned back against Indra without being obvious about it.
