 Hotaru's eyes were dark with concern. Turning from her own path, she moved by Kurama. A pained expression was on her face and she felt the sudden urge to race over. As they reeached the group, Hotaru moved ahead of Kurama and moved through the pack of wolves. She smiled seeing both Kouga's and Tsuki's wolves were together. She didn't really need translation as she kneeled by the sleeping wolf. She was struggling to breath and yet seemed to be trapped within. If she were youkai, she could fix this. She would know exactly what it was. As far as she knew, it could be a sickness from Kyuub. Looking at the wolf, she gave a small smile. "Do not worry." Turning back, she ran her fingers along Nitak's fur. Hotaru could feel the tears gathering in her eyes as she tried to discover what exactly was wrong with Nitak.

Go Shikigami!  Masato sat patiently, watching as Tomo demonstrated of how meditation was properly performed. Explaining that in this form of concentration to help him ascend and grasp his spiritual powers easily. He tilted his head in curiosity before producing the thought of this dfficult task. Keeping one's mind clear didn't seem as easy, but trying didn't hurt. He closed his eyes, attempting to clear his mind from the outside world. It was rather soothing to listen the stream flow down. His Shikigami sat by the water, lapping on the stream from a drink to taste at their own leisure. As they come to, they watch their Master at work with control. They felt no change to their Master, hoping soon that Masato would control his spiritual powers.Location - Kaede's Village

Finding that Masato was having trouble with the meditation. A kind smile appeared on his face. Gently touching the boy's shoulder, he spoke softly. "Come Masato. It is a difficult time to do meditation." looking over his shoulder as one of his shikigami appeared, he listened to the creature. Nodding in approval, he glanced back at Masato. The poison was almost gone. He wouldn't be able to stay unfortunately. The boy needed training. He would give him tasks to accomplish before he left and after each task was completed, he would continue on to the next. The first would be mastering his meditation and be able to summon his powers while in meditation. The second would be to shift his shikigami into different forms or create new ones. The third would be of course finding which trait he followed in the path of spiritual power. He would make certain that Lady Hotaru would be able to give the boy the scroll before he left. As he walked, he began to teach Masato.

Go Shikigami! Masato wasn't sure what he was doing, his mind felt a bit clouded and uncomfortable. His meditation hadn't gone through it properly, perhaps he wasn't relaxed enough to do this meditation stuff. As he continued thrugh his half decent meditation performance, a hand had touched his shoulder. He slowly opened his eyes and turn up to the priest behind him. It seems that it was already enough, that meditation had to come to an end today. Masato nodded, he could still continue, but even still he had to follow the training. With a sigh, hepushed himself off from the ground, with both his hands to dust off any dirt that remained from behind him. It wasn't so bad to meditate, he had to find a better place where there was such a situation known to be quiet. Masato looked at Tomo, communication with his Shikigami. Would he even perform a feat like that? He thought of it to be a useful technique, to talk to Shikigami just like how human beings, and demons, were able to discuss. A little voice in his head spoke, but what in the world was it coming from? He was a bit uncertain about this day, clearing his mind would be the best right now.
Masato followed after Tomo, he had began to teach him the way the priests have done back at their own vilage. His own lecture from before, he thought that it might require concentration to bring out Shikigami. Drawing into his Spiritual powers was tough though how hard can it be when he had two that stood right there. Not to mention his previous Shikigami, he was sure that he could be able to summon another one couldn't he? His focus would be steady and firm, his mind relax to draw out the Shikigami. It was taking sometime though being patient helps. With being situated in his composure, his concentration commenced. With his powers slowly drawn, it took longer than expected as the shining of a new Shikigami had appeared. It was another fox, this was the creature he had thought up. Like the others, they seemed to be like triplets. Each one was identical to the next, with this phase done that even coming up with a different form would be quite the same with a bit of imagination. Lastly they had reached to the course to find out of his trait in his spiritual power. It sounded a lot harder than the other two teachings he had taught. It was how they were used right? He remember him saying the four types, purify, healing, transformation, and battle. He just learned doing all this using spiritual powers even he was uncertain what type. He looked at his Shikigami, the three mewed at the same time. He had seen them fight, so were they a battle type? "I believe I'll find out another time soon." Muttering to himself, he waited for Tomo. He believed it was better to see them out.Location - Kaede's Village

•Mine?: A wide variety of herbs and Mekai plants "You should never corner an animal such as a fox...we have a tendency to show our fangs" ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ The black wolf led them into the trees where a female wolf lay in a small clearing, she seems to be sleeping but it could be that she inhaled too much poison. Kurama moved around Hotaru to kneel down next to the wolf. 'My sister. She was too curious. Now she will not wake. Can you help?' The previous wolf whined pleas for aid. He watched as Hotaru would run her fingers through the female wolf's fur, he smelled tears in her eyes and looked at her. She can't do anything while stuck as a human. Kurama then turned his attention back on the wolf in question. Looking at the dark air that puffs from her breathing. He decided to try and treat her for poison. He removed a set of viles from his pouch, he cannot very well treat a living thing with mekai plant poison like he had dispersed most the poison in town. the mekai plant's poison would not only cancel out any poison within the wolf but the spores would take root within her blood and she'd become plant food instantly.
So he resorted to his medical herbs and potions. putting a numbing agent of leafs in the wolf's mouth to numb her tongue, even unconscious the taste of his strongest anti-venom potion would want anyone or thing to gag. He used his teeth to remove the cork and would then lift the wolf up enough by the head and pour a dosage of the concaution down her throat, messaging her throat to be sure she swallows it. then would wait and see if his medicine has any effect on her. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇

Feeling Kurama move next to her, she gave a soft gasp. She had almost forgotten he had been there. Watching him, she remained silent as he attempted to help the wolf. Once he made the wolf swallow the concoction he had made, Hotaru moved forward and gently pulled the wolf's head into her lap. She brushed Nitak's fur gently. Lowering her head down, she began to whisper to her. She whispered words of encouragement and strength to the wolf. It was all she could do at the time. Looking up at Kurama, she gave a faint smile. She was attempting her hardest to not burst into tears. She had had so much happen to her in such a short amount of time, she was struggling her hardest not to break down.
Tomo watched the new shikigami appear next to Masato's own. A small smile appeared and he nodded to him. "You have done it." Placing a hand on Masato's shoulder, he directed him back to the hut. "Come, let us help the villagers clear out the huts and help them rebuild. It is a part of our duty as priests." Tomo nodded to him before leading the way back into the village and began to help some villagers with their home.

Raku lowered his head, watching Kurama and Hotaru carefully. He whined when Kurama gave Nitak the concoction. He worried for his sister. When Hotaru pulled Nitak's head into her lap, Raku took a step closer. He nudged Nitak's shoulder again. The female wolf shuddered slightly. Raku looked up at Kurama. He made low growls.

Go Shikigami! With third Shikigami present, each greeted each other in mews. A conversation that Masato found it interesting all on its own to have a new player to the small group he created. They nuzzled each other and ran around excitedly after one another, it was if another family member had come to be. A smile came upon Masato's face, they act like little children, energetic enough to have a bit of fun. While Masato was concentrated on his Shikigami, a pat on his shoulder remove himself from his thoughts. Glancing at Tomo, he nodded back to him cheerfully. Standing before him was a little accomplishment on his own, a part of him to help take care in the face of danger. The priest had motion over back to the village, taking the duty as a priest to assist the villagers and their broken homes. Masato nodded and trailed behind him to lead the way, the Shikigami seized their playful acts and ran after them. The forest may be more quiet when their presence to leave takes place. Masato had given a hand to the villagers, moving bits and pieces of their destroyed homes.Location - Kaede's Village

She shuddered a little when her kin nudged her. She may be able to rouse soon, Kurama would then take a turtle shell from his pack, a small one, and pour another dosage into the shell and mashed it with some blood and innards of a rabbit. He then would speak to the wolves surrounding them. This is for her when she wakes enough to sit up, it is not a treat for any of you but more medicine made easy to consume, it should help her further. He then would move to a small stream and wash his hands. Standing up he turned to the other wolf who asked if he would like to see the beast. He nodded then glanced at Hotaru. "He would take us to see the beast, are you sure you wish to continue, in your state, my lady?" He would protect her should she choose to follow him but he will not force her to stay, he may be a daiyokai but she is a Lady of the southern regions, she outranks him in that regaurd, as he Youko is nothing more then a mere theif.

Hotaru remained seated for a moment longer before she leaned over and gently kissed her on her head. "Be strong young one." Her voice was a soft whisper. What she didn't realize was when she kissed, her miko had moved into the wolf. It wouldn't harm though as her intentions had been pure to to the wolf. It would begin slowly healing her. Resting the wolf's head on the ground, she rose and faced Youko. Her gaze was reminiscent of her youkai self. "I will go. I will not stand by even if..." She glanced down at her very human hands. "Even if I am... weak." Her voice had died to a whisper but she moved next to him, looking at the male wolf. "Lead us little one." There was a softness to her voice that told of affection.

"Ngh! The air, there's no question ... Kyuub..." he cursed silently to himself as his feet pattered furiously against the ground. He had all but remembered to grab a hold of his sacred robe when he departed from the present, but that didn't too much matter, his informal apparel of a black tank top and solid black jeans would have to suffice. As he drew nearer the village, the signs of war were all the more evident. "Heartless b*****d, why hasn't he learned by now." he said bitterly. It was more or less a scolding he was giving himself, if Ryuuk would have stayed, he could have felt the pressure and stopped this attack before it got out of hand.
He could feel the spiritual pressure of people ahead, none of which seemed to pulse with ominous intent, though he had been incorrect before on several occasions. Instinct snapped for him to grab whole of his rod, which had been neatly broken down and sheathed on his lower back. His sprinting made it a bit more difficult to grasp, though he managed to grip it tightly and flung it to its full length, the metal shined gloriously as the small slits that had once been dividers became one whole instrument, the holy staff of Kidan. "Just hold on, im coming." ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

((OOC: Sorry it took me so long to reply. I FINALLY got my muse back.))  Lorelai chuckled in amusement at Shippo's antics while her mouth was full of rice which made her cheeks pouch out and gave her the comical air of a squirrel. As she swallowed, Lorelai replied, "I think the best and most hilarious incident is when Gramps thought he'd help me cook by getting the pot of water to boil faster. He used his fox fire on the pot while I was chopping ingredients to make soup. I tried to warn him I didn't think that was good for the pot, but it was too late. All the water quickly evaporated and the pot had been exposed to so much heat at once, it actually blasted apart. The biggest chunk of the pot was sent flying through the roof of our hut and landed on the front porch. I had to hurry and cool off the other pieces of the pot with cold water or they might have set our hut on fire. We sure had a mess to clean up after that and Gramps had to patch up the hole in our roof. That was the day Gramps decided to stop helping me in the kitchen and leave the cooking to me since I was already good at fixing our meals. Isn't Gramps funny? He's the only person I know who can actually make a boiling pot of water explode. He's great at fixing things, but he tends to get a little too exuberant around anything that requires a fire." Lorelai continued to giggle at her grandfather's expense. Lorelai highly respected her grandfather and loved him dearly, but the fact such a reliable person could make such a drastic mistake was just too funny for Lorelai to keep to herself. Meanwhile, her grandfather suddenly let out a huge sneeze in the midst of helping some villagers repair the roof of a hut and almost dropped his hammer as he rubbed his nose. "Dear me, I hope Lori-chan isn't telling any embarrassing stories about me." There was a small murmur of chuckles at his remark before everyone got back to work fixing the hut.

'The air smelled odd. It fell from the sky and started turning dark. Nitak tried to kill it. When she tasted the blood, that happened to her.'
He watched the bird intently. He was poised and ready to go after it, though Nitak had wounded it greatly.Shippo laughed genuinely. As Lori finished, he smiled at her. "Well, I don't know anyone who has exploded a pot, so your Gramps may be unique. Though I don't know if I would be any help with cooking either." He took another bite and looked at her once he'd swallowed the food. "My Pa could cook. He taught me a couple of things, but I never really got the chance to really learn anything from him. Maybe you could help me?" He spoke cautiously, not sure if she'd be willing to help, though he didn't see why she'd say no.

Lorelai gave Shippo a sheepish grin as she replied, "Well, let me put it this way: I'll certainly do my best to try. I've never taught anyone how to cook before, so I don't know if I'll be any good at it." Lorelai thoughtfully chewed her food until she'd finished both her stew and rice balls before continuing, "First off, your current location is important to what ingredients are available. For example, here in the village we have chickens, fish, and the local wildlife for meat along with rice, herbs, and vegetables everyone has either grown or gathered. However, when you're traveling, ingredients may be scarce so it's important to know what to look for and what areas the ingredients you're trying to find can be found in." As she spoke, Lorelai pulled two somewhat battered journals from her bag which she had put together herself with home made parchment. She'd made the book covers from wood that had been varnished to make them last longer to which she had securely bound her pages. "You may study these if you like. One journal has all the information I've gathered about the edible plants and herbs I've come across so far. Some can also be used for medicines. I've listed areas where each plant can be found below their pictures so I'll be able to identify them on sight. If there are any poisonous plants that resemble what I'm looking for, I make sure to put in a drawing of the poisonous plant with a skull and crossbones under it so I'll know to avoid it. It helps me to put them both on the same page so I can compare them and make sure I'm going after the correct plant. The other journal has detailed information regarding the habits and migratory patterns of the wild animals I've studied along with the areas they prefer to hunt or graze. It's important to know about the ingredients you plan plan to use in cooking. Otherwise, there'd be nothing to cook, right?" Lorelai gave Shippo an encouraging smile as she concluded, "Let me know if you have any questions. I'll be sure to answer the best I can."

Ryuuk could finally see a few figures that belonged to villagers, non hostile and carrying on about their business. Guess that means there isn't any danger. Better step it down a notch, I don't want to startle anyone. His dash simmered to a power walk, using his staff as a form of support as he pressed forth towards the inner workings of the village. "This doesn't seem like the same damage I've seen firsthand. Things may not be as troubling as I feared. he spoke softly, observing the signs of the evident scuffle. The homes didn't wear damage very well. "Now where is Lady Kaede? I can't get a good sense of her spiritual pressure." ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
