Stretching, and standing up he looked around and found only Buttercup.
"Did we really sleep here all this time." Thunderbolt yawned.
Now fully awake. He admired Buttercup for a second and looked around for the others and found they were alone.
"Buttercup, where are the others?" he asked.

"Well......You slept for a day and a half." Buttercup replied. "The others went back to the den."

Thunderbolt wasn't shocked the least bit. He would sleep for months if no one interrupted his sleep. Waking up alone was common for him as well, so seeing Buttercup watch over him all this time made him admire her further.
"Thanks for watching over me all that time and..." he was suddenly interupted by his growling stomach. "well, I'm famished, lets hunt something and get back. The others are probably worried." He said to Buttercup.

Buttercup noticed that she was hungry as well. "Agreed. I could use a nice, juicy piece of meat." She said. "You're pretty good at finding the animals, I'll let you lead." Buttercup walked over to where thunderbolt was standing, ready for an adventure.

Thunderbolt nodded and headed to the dense part of the forest. His mind was set on 'hunt'. Buttercup wanted meat, she will have meat. He would have to find something big enough for others in the den as well. They always seem to have the room in their stomachs for more food.
It didn't take long till he found large gouges on trees. These deep scars on the trees indicated wild boar. The marking were set high, meaning it was a large one.
Looking to Buttercup, he smirked and showed her the marking and the broken vegetation leading away from the markings.

Buttercup went up to tree and smelled the marks. "Wild boar.......this mark is fresh, he should be near by." Buttercup commented softly.

"Let's go, I'll distract him you go in for the kill." Thunderbolt said. It was a common tactic and always works.
Further into the forest they found the boar. The thing was still and seem to have sensed them, only he didn't know exactly where they were. Thunderbolt gestured Buttercup to stay.
Thunderbolt using his lightening to augment his speed, plowed right into the boar onto a thick tree, leaving his trademark lightening trail. The boar was slightly phased but intent to fight was in its eyes. Thunderbolt knew their type and years of experience told him to never give them a chance to strike. Using his boosters, he pinned the boar onto the same tree. Its tusk merely inches away from impaling his face.
"NOW!!" He yelled to Buttercup.

Buttercup immediately lunged in and ripped out the artery in the boar's neck, killing him instantly. Buttercup licked her lips in pride as the boar's limp body collapsed on the ground. "I think the job is done." Buttercup finally said.

"Alright, let's head home." he said, while catching his breath.
He took the boar onto his back. His prosthetic limbs proved to hold up under the added weight.
"Hope you are hungry as I am. The others will freak when they see 'Tubby' here." he joked while heading in the direction of the den.

"I am very hungry!" Buttercup replied, following behind thunderbolt back to the den.

The walk home was short and uneventful. Though, Thunderbolt did take a few peek at Buttercup. The blood on her mouth, still somewhat present, made her look dangerously sexy. He would fight the blush, but was thankful for having fur to hide it.
Just as they came into view of the opening of the den, Thunderbolt spots Ren taking up guard duty.
Thunderbolt along with Buttercup stood in front of Ren. "Hope you and the others are hungry, it's uncommon to find the big game like 'Pumba' here." Thunder pointing at the load on his back.

Buttercup started getting impatient....."Eat now, talk later.." she said, circling thunderbolt.

Thunderbolt looked at Ren one last time before entering the den. Something was bothering her, but in time, she will get around and open up to others of her dilemma.
In a clearing, he flipped the boar off his back and it landed with a thud on the floor. "Let's EAT!...Sorry, ladies first." he stepped back and allowed the hungry Buttercup first dibs.

Buttercup nodded to Thunderbolt in thanks, then dug in. After a few minutes, she had devoured half of the boar's neck, the juiciest part in her opinion. When she had her fill Buttercup went over to her spot and lay down to take a nap.
