The sun was setting and they needed to launch the rescue mission as soon as possible so they could rescue little Hawaii. He looked over at Berwald and smiled softly as he took his husband's hand.
"How are you holding up?" he asked gently, wanting to make sure his injuries from the night before weren't acting up.

"I don't know how to tell you this but... The other night some of your states were involved in a battle against a monster the mythology club was tracking," he said. "One of them was injured and... today the monster and its controller apparently came back for her. They took your State of Hawaii hostage and he's trying to ransom her back in exchange for the land he claims he used to own in North America."
