Arell smirked. "If I break dese chains, his lifespan drops from 'bout nat'ral to twelve seconds . . . but in my skivvies ain't de best time fer me to be makin' contracts on people." he growled, but for a minute, his eyes released some primal airs. One could almost see him really plotting something ESPECIALLY devious.
"But . . . I think fer assaultin' my family an' frien' . . . I think I can make an exception . . . " he said, this time, putting every last ounce of muscle behind those restraints. The bolts wore out from the LAST time.
SPROING!!! BANG!! BANG!! BANG!!!
Left and right, those bolts went flying as that big mountain of a Cajun man got off and looked at them.
"So, Kai. Gator or Human?" he asked, smile on his face two miles wide. Karma for anyone in an IO suit was going to be a b***h.

Dr. Jack Summers grabbed his bar like weapon and extended it out with the touch of a button on the staffs handle. Fighting some kids, he was completely prepared. He knew of his daughter and her friends, and these restraints would have to be a class 4 at the very least which they were not. The cuffs were class 3 which should probably have been upgraded to the highest possible for these metahumans.
Kai was incapable of really moving all that much due to the crystal but heard Arell's question.
"Human, I want us to get out of here alive Arell."
Rose Summers pushed the crystal into Kai's cuff cutting her a little in the process of pushing it into the tight space. She pulled out what appeared to be guns but instead they shot needles that would inject an anesthetic to knock out the person who was shot. She stayed by her daughter almost guarding her from being freed.
"Son, if you fought me it wouldn't be a fair fight for you. Unarmed, and based on Kai's choice I think you may reconsider that gator form you have."
Jack stated looking to his daughter. She was now turned to the side, holding her cuffed wrist towards her self breathing in short painful quiet groans. He was surprised that she had stayed conscious so long, but it was his guess that the cuffs helped repress enough of her energy to make it so that the crystal wouldn't effect her as strongly as it usually would. He looked back to Arell and held his staff out ready in a fighting position.

Arell rolled his eyes at Jack as Dundee looked like he was gonna die laughing. That "kid" was a 26 year old badass that made Crocodile Dundee look like a whimp. CLEARLY this guy under estimated Arell L'amour.
"Lights out, Bro!" Dundee cheered as Arell took the bar out of Jack's hands and threw it to the side of the room.
"I think it's 'bout time you learn t' trail ride OFF Yo' high horse!" he growled as he threw the mightiest uppercut towards Jack's chin most folks ever saw.
Dun, however was smiling like an idiot, which faded fast when Rose knocked out Kai . . . looking at Rose with what looked like a disappointed look.
"Not that I'm one to get into family business, but damn, this screams bad parenting all OVER the place." Dundee mused.

Rose looked at Dundee with a look of disagreement.
"You don't know our relationship, and you don't know our daughter. It's best you keep your thoughts about her to yourself."
She looked to her husband and pulled a few shots to Arell hitting him with the anesthetic needle like bullets in the back of his shoulder. Rose held a firm stance and glared at the man who attacked her husband.
"Hey, Arell is it? We anticipated a fight, and here's the fight. I supposed you're having fun right? If you wish to live, I suggest you take your kin here and leave. Kai belongs to us. Our daughter, our problems that need no outsiders to resolve."
Jack was knocked to the ground and became injured from the blow that he had received from Arell. It wasn't the worst injury this man had faced though, seeing as his daughter and her metahuman friends had fought them before. He pulled his arms beneath him on the ground and took one of his hands to wipe the blood from his mouth. He was prepared at any moment to attack Arell or reach to stop him from attempting to attack Rose.
"I, would listen to my wife Arell. She is a lot of a tougher fight then I am in many ways. Sorta where Kai get's her skills ah-."

"I'm Amber, And I am here to do you girls a solid."
She winked walking in tossing her purse that she took from her room before hand to the side.
"So, My parents work here, and I'm here to make it a little better... what do you two say to that."
Amber smiled feeling pretty confident that the girls would befriend her easily. In her mind, she thought "Who else would resist being friends with such a pretty, wonderful, powerful girl like me"

Arell looked at Rose, a primal side was in force. "If you want to see him alive, she comes with us. Or, the other side comes out, and you BOTH die. Either way, I don't forsee you or this LOSER . . ." he emphasized "loser" with kicking Jack in the throat, putting more than enough power behind it. "Coming out on top either way." For some odd reason, the anesthetic bullets seemed to give him a bit more bravado. Get the big dude who's ALREADY angry at you to not feel pain at all. Yeah, way to go, Rose. Why don't you give him his clothes and his guns back while your at it? Or better yet, dress up as a T-Bone if he goes Gator?!
"Dude, you're starting to sound like me, only worse . . . that's scary, writer."
SHUT UP, C.J.!!!!
"Skuld, Maho . . . someone find me my brown pants. This writer's cracked."
Dundee looked at Rose. "Forgive me for being concerned. But I happen to know and care for her a bit more than to have her kidnapped. Now let us go before you become a widow from HIM. Either way, you two belong on Springer." he said, nodding his head over to the big dude, while still partially naked, was doing a damn good job at putting the shoe on the other foot.

"There's a point when humans can only do so much fighting meta-humans. I know when to surrender."
She stood up strait and brushed off her coat stepping to the side.
"But I'm not going to help you take your bonds off, clothes are in the hall just outside this room on a table. I have more important work to do that I would much rather not have a concussion for."
Rose walked over to her husband and picked up his arm helping him up to his feet. She helped him out of their walking path and set him against the wall. Rose wasn't too worried about their escape. Kane had told them quiet a bit that the boys or Kai wouldn't know that they knew. That and Kane was waiting for them outside of this building and if anyone had more experience in the real world fighting anything but normal humans it was Kane. He was quite experienced in fighting meta-humans to some degree. While Kai's parents were only used to fighting those of a weaker variety and at most times it required extended planning, work, and so on to keep them restrained. This obviously was not the time as they were not prepared for Kai and her friends in the least.
Jack coughed trying to get in a reply. His throat was in a lot of pain but his consciousness still intact. He wiped a little more blood from his mouth and now from some broken skin on his neck. This was more than he was willing to take but in this situation IO didn't need so many captives.
"If, I found out... You touched my daughter.... I will make sure of it that she will never be seeing any of you again. Especially on whatever kind of Spring you are talking about."
His throat sounded dry and hoarse as if he'd been gargling marbles before hand.
Kai turned to lay on her back once again, only having one hand free of restraint but not of cuff. She glanced at Dundee very in a tired expression and then gasped as she set her arm down to the side.
"h-hurry Arell. Let's get the ******** out of here... before they, --- change their mind."

Arell grabbed Jack by the back of his shirt and hoisted him up. "Leave 'em alone or yer buzzard bait, boy." he snarled at Jack. "But I DOUBT yer in any position to threat us." he said, before violently slamming Jack's head onto the table. "Thank you, Doctor. You jus' saved yer shitbag husband's life." he said, then . . . woah, this is hardcore. As in seriously, this dude's gotta calm down!
"What?!"
Whaddaya mean "what?!" Your boy Arell just tossed that guy into a wall!
"Dude was kinda jerk-ish anyways."
Fair enough, but damn! Do NOT piss that guy off!
Anyways, Arell walked over and looked at the bonds for both of them. Instead of just using a key to get them open, Arell just grabbed the restraints and wrenched them COMPLETELY off, one at a time. It was one of those moments where the big guy was thankful he had pretty good strength. Even more thankful that the reptilian side helped get 'em off.
It was a few minutes later that Arell got them loose.
Dundee smirked at the whole thing. "Guess we'd bettah get our clothes and get outta here before those other dudes come back." Dundee said, getting a head-start for the door.

Kai sat up after her restraints were removed and looked to her mother and her unconscious father. He wasn't unconscious but he was pretty good at playing it she figured. Her mother unscathed in the least. Kai couldn't help but think, that something was off about her parents. Why would they let them go so easily... No, now was the time to get out. She slid off of the slanted gurney like contraption to her feet nearly losing balance. Her left knee tapped the floor for a moment before she stood up gaining back some strength. Her heart throbbed, her body shaky and numb but she could still move on her own.
"Let's go. Quickly, to a safe place to remove this damned thing before it does too much, damage."
Kai held her arm and walked towards the door despite her light headed balance.
"I miss you already Kaira. And you are always welcome to come home if you need us."
Rose added standing by the entrance waiting for her own chance to leave so she may head to work. Her husband laying against the opposite wall.
"No thanks. I don't take to well to clingyness. And thank you for being so nice to my friends. I'm sure Dad's first impression was awesome seeing his condition."
Kai said in reply to her mother's comment.

Fortunately Arell got the clothes and was already passing them to their respective owners. "Dat guy bettah just stay down an' enjoy de nap." Arell growled as he got dressed. Something did seem awry, but he was just happy to get all his clothes back, including his dog tags & cowboy hat.
Arell looked over at Kai with a smirk. "Kaira?" he said.
Dundee rolled his eyes. "Hey, it's a cute name. Now come on! We'd better get outta here!" he said, getting dressed quickly.

Kai had her clothes on pretty much except the gloves at this point which she pushed into a pocket of her utility belt.
"I like going by Kai unless either of you boys- would like to call me -Frà pruçehevèçen-... Anyway..."
She left opened the door for her friends and headed down the hall as quickly as her feet could carry her in this state. Kai wasn't used to being so heavy on her feet. Her foot steps before hand being light due to the lightness her powers had given.
"Plans for when we get outside... find a vehicle of some kind, air preferable. And if we get that far, try to fly out."
After they left the room Rose pulled out a communicator and called Ivana. She spoke quietly into the communicator as she walked over to her husband on the far side of the room.
"The recently captured three are escaping. But we have enough information to track them later on down the road. Just let the rabbits lead us to their hole. Mrs. Summers out."

"Fra- . . . Frae . . . aww hell . . . I'm stickin' wit' Kai. Dat ********' name's too damn long!" Arell growled. Not really that he was bothered by the name, but he wanted to keep the situation light.
Dundee smirked. "Hey, both of those are better than Legs . . . or worse, Norville." he said, also going fast with his name. He also noted that Arell seemed to also be doing a fast weapons check. It didn't take a brain surgeon to figure out that Arell knew something was up.
"Good idea. Rather be flyin' nowadays. Just as long as we get back to safety, I'm good." Dundee said.

As keeper teams and Threshold work on dealing with the little electrical monster Kesshou left behind, Ivana picked up on Rose Summers message and responded, "Sounds good Rose. I'll make it look good, so our rabbits don't think we're being easy on them. Ivana to Keeper Teams Delta and Gamma to give our guests a warm send off -- Flush them toward freight cars that are being loaded right now. Let's make them think they are getting a lucky break, shall we?"

The mousy redhead glanced at the very tall orange skinned redhead in her room with her and Sarah. Caitlin adjusted her glasses, "Amber? I don't mind you keeping us company. I'm Caitlin, and this is Sarah... and.. what are like almost wearing? you look like you just came from a party.. or .. something." Kat was already getting an idea about this place, but didn't want to tip off to a potential informer that she and Sarah had just been talking about that.

Rachel kept an even stare at Nat and nodded, "Yeah... I think we should watch each others backs then. Truce then?" The tall blonde extended a hand.

"I got back from Las Vegas. Had some fun with some boy and ended up coming back cause of my parents. Parents are a bummer right?"
Amber said walking over and sitting down on the bed next to Sarah.
Sarah blushed seeing the barely clothed girl and looked to the door before looking to Amber again.
"You, are one of the workers kids here huh? Then why are you spending time with us?"
"Because, it gets boring, and I get lonely. I really want to spend time with people since my boyfriend Bobby got grounded for being with me."
She said with almost a pout to gain sympathy.

Kai pulled out a few smoke pellets from her utility belt in preparation for leaving the building. That is to say if there were already a group of people ready to attack them. And she wasn't doubting that her parents would send them into a pack of wolves, figuratively speaking, to be taken down by. Her parents wouldn't let them go so easily otherwise she figured.
"Be prepared to meet an ambush or at least a guard. I'm sure my parents wouldn't let us off so easily except to save themselves the trouble of doing us in on their own."

The large creature scratched almost wildly and with no real apparent reason other then discord. Any normal weapons just pass right through it and energy weapons seem to give it strength.
