Muka had waved to Amrita only seconds before the figure had snatched Shehk. The strix bristled, confused and shuffled as others took off after the mysterious cloaked person. Perhaps he had loitered too long as the pack of students tore away from him.
He finally made up his mind and took to the chase as well, he was too rattled to take flight as his heart beat nervously in his chest. Perhaps he should have just gone with the instinct though as his pointed shoes caught, sending him tumbling into the dirt and once more losing his site of the group.

Flying was one thing, attacking was another. Israfel pulled a bottle, (his demon toterror hissing and spitting) and threw it at the mystery person. To bad it missed and his minipets was now running off to who knew where.

All the figure was trying to do was rile the students up further to continue running after him. It was working. Riley could feel the blind hate seething through the students around her as they ran forward, bent on saving Shehk, or bent on bringing the hunter down.
None of them bent on thinking the situation through.
Riley's anger was of a different kind. She was only angry that the hunter achieved exactly what he'd wanted - to get a mob of students to follow him into the forest. And there wasn't a damn thing she could do about it but go as well, and hope to Jack that one more body would make the difference between a successful trap, and a failed one.

Though she had been a little alarmed, Xiu wasn't at all upset that Remi jumped over her. In the end, she had managed to get to her feet quickly enough so that no one else could do the same. While she was happy to see her friend when he rushed up to her, her jaw tightened at the questions.
"That figure, the one who took Shehk...he might be that hunter." She looked at him, and though she tried to look firm and composed, there was a waver of panic in her eyes, "The...the leader. The man with the scythe--the one who ended up destroying Red." Of course, they weren't positive, but that's what she had heard some of the others whispering about. Considering all that they had learned in that Horsemen meeting, it was no surprise that the students were much more defensive than usual.
"But it's strange," She continued, brows pulling together in confusion, "This man...he knows us. Some of us, at least. He called Vaith and Israfel by name."

((Dice 1 = Jericho, Dice 2= Shun)) It was a little tricky, running and trying to attack, while carrying another student. The grounds getting closer to the forest wasn't completely even either. Growling as the figure continued to taunt them, Jericho was about to shout something when his foot snagged onto a root on the ground. Stumbling forward, he essentially ended up flinging Lizzy, allowing her to continue the chase as he faceplanted. ---- Shun continued to run, determined to not give up on the chase. He was running as quickly as he could to try and close the gap between himself and the stranger, and as a result, he failed to see that Mitsu had fallen behind for the moment. The hunter had some nerve to say the things he did. Personally, he never struck Red. No, he had instead, tried to attack the one he suspected he was chasing right at this moment.

Was this man.. monologuing? How utterly absurd - no good villian did that anymore. Didn't he get the inter-villian-office memo?
Riley took no time in taking advantage of this lapse in judgement, to whip her tentacles at him with sharp, precise strikes.

Calder raced after, but as he went, he had to dodge students and their own attacks. They flew past him, others shouting and baring their teeth. Calder wasn't much for these games as of late. Wearing Red's clock was a insult to those that did not side with Halloween, and with the wound so recently sliced into their hearts, it was just LOW.
As much as he was trying to catch up, his focus on the cloaked figure did not allow him to watch his step, and he fell over. Way to come at this like a hero.

Were those...cheers she was hearing? The chupacabra was still determined to stay running after this person to prevent them from getting away and taking Shehk with them, but people were cheering for her? Why - she'd raised her hands (or quills in this case) in anger towards someone and had done more than her fair share of damage.
Was Chuppi supposed to just be content with injuring everyone today, to show she was not just a monster, but an animal? ....well that was being a bit dramatic anyway, and the little one kept her position before she debated running again, though she did turn to look at Roch and the rest of those who'd called her name.

The cloaked one was pretty quick, despite carrying another as he fled. Between that, and the short range of his daggers, Shun wasn't really able to do too much of an attack this time around. Cursing under his breath, he fell back after he struck, pausing to glance where Mitsu had gone. Seeing her on the ground, he doubled back quickly to try and help her up.

And suddenly, her phone was in her hands. Freya picked up the blessed item, and rubbed it against her cheek. She almost missed Mort's commands. When they registered, Freya opened up her phone, cocked her head at the pictures, and then looked up to see Mort continuing the follow the figure.
She didn't know why he wanted pictures of the guy, but what Mort wanted.. Mort got.
Freya's wings beat hard, lifting her up into the air as she followed the group with an aerial view.

Aisa raced forward on her horse, which had been summoned somehow during the battle, students would have to beware of trampling hooves. He was not going to be out of sight-- As Red had phrased before, there would be casaulties. Unfortunately, for Shehk, several of the heirs would not be able to take a mere student's being into account.
The mysterious man's method of casting blame would surely be effective against some of the students.. but the lesson that casualties were unavoidable was a hard lesson to get through. Unfortunately, the clans had always been trapped within the confines of their respective domains, those domains often interlacing intricately with one another. Such lessons were approached early in their years, possibly before the ages these students were. Casualties were nothing new.
One or two students weren't either, for the price of one of the leaders that brought the blasted hunters into existence.

Mitsu was just starting to push her way up when Shun was suddenly there to help her. She gripped his hand tightly as she stood to her feet wasting no time in darting after the hunter again. "Thanks, Shun!" She let go of his hand shortly after not wanting to hinder him but tried to stick closely to his side. She hated having to get so close to the hunter to attack but she didn't have a weapon or anything like that.
As they came closer to the forest edge Mitsu became leery, eyes darting through the darkness. Surely he hadn't come alone and the forest would be the perfect place to hide. She tried to sniff about to see if she could catch anything off but it was hard to discern one scent from another.

Willow nodded and watched as Mei got up to help, "I'm glad you two are okay." She nodded and seemed slightly impressed when Mei mentioned fear healing.
After the ghoul left it didn't take long for Willow to turn to Bul, "Do you want me to keep an eye on her so you don't have to risk getting hurt worse?" She was watching the half beast curiously ready to go if he said yes. Otherwise she'd just have to hope that everyone would make it back and be ready to move if the signs of trouble got worse.

Her eyes went wide as he spoke, as he mocked them flourishing that cloak like the arrogant b*****d he was. How dare he do that, talking about Red that way.
"BECAUSE OF THAT TAINTED INSANITY YOU ALL CREATED! YOU TAINTED HER!" She wasn't sure if her accusation was right, but that didn't stop her from charging towards the Hunter leader still.
