Before panicked when their supposed targets had arrived and was completely left in the dust as everything exploded into pandemonium and movement. He took aim and fired and watched as the net hit a rock instead.

Shun hissed out some sort of curse at the fallen angel as he basically brushed him off. His attention soon shifted over towards the lead Hunter, however, as he saw him run off. Dammit.
He spared an urging glance to the wolf girl, then bolted off after the fleeing figure.
He had a little bit of a score to settle.

Eva may have learned how to wield her bladed staff weapon quickly enough, but a gun? No--her aim was terrible. The fact that the net ended up whizzing very close to Otto instead of any of the monsters was a testament to that.

Suddenly, her target was no longer running. Instead it...it pulled something from its wing. Sherry tried to reason out what it was doing. She knew it had seen her, perhaps it was preparing to attack? It looked all the world like it had a pen in its other hand...and was writing. Before she could tell for certain, it threw something at her. Something small and white-the thing it had taken from its wing! Instinctivly, she flinched as it struck her golem. Still not used to the balance of it, the action almost caused her to lose her footing. Recovering, she reached for the feather (what else could she call it?) as it fluttered down. There were words on it, but her mind barely registered them. It can hurt people with these things! Monster! She glared at the gray creature. It makes no difference. Sherry shook her head in disgust. Whatever it was, it was a creature of the shadows...and it needed to be stopped before it could hurt anyone. They all did. If only. Raising her gun, she prepared to aim at the foul creature before her. And then she saw it. The blue glow of THAT scythe. It was followed by a shockwave. This time she was knocked off of her feet. No! she told herself, scrambling up as fast as she could. Raising her gun again, she aimed, and fired. (( Total HP value: 19/20 Damage: Caught Target: Zar Baneful I'm sorry! I ttly love Zar, but she doesn't. ))

Mot:HP: 40 Status: Captured They were in Halloween. Halloween was supposed to be safe. So why? How? Mot hid his face from Lizzy's view as he tried desperately to free himself from the netting. He couldn't let her see how panicked he was. Such a failure, getting struck twice, when he had done so well in avoiding net after net back in the human world. He'd let his guard down, because it was home. The shock wave did little to Mot, who was still laid on the ground. However, now he knew for certain that Hunter was the one who'd attacked him, who had soiled Red's corpse. He seethed from his place, cussing under his breath. Soon, Lizzy spoke, and freed him once again. He let out a shaking breath, and sat up. "I--..I know.."In a dream like, hazy blur, suddenly Lizzy had been caught, as well as himself. Shock overcame the boil, having been taken down for a third time in a row. He lay unmovable, silent. His eyes stared lidded and lifeless at the ground before him. His mind shut down to protect his ow sanity. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~A boob squeeze. Really? Sigh. Otto huffed at Eva, and pointed his gun at a large undead. Christof gave a nervous twitch of his lips in a humorless smile to Mort as he caught up with the group he had been trailing. Poor Miss Xiu... he fumbled with his knife, movements pausing as he saw a shining of scythe and a streak of purple... Mistress... what ever it was, she was after it- He wobbled to his feet, a whine in his throat as he saw Jericho swoop after. He had to help- he had to follow- he was already wobbling after when a net shot passed him, Mort suddenly collapsing just behind him. Mistress or the poor first year... Lizzy was there but... but... He gave a sudden frustrated grunt before turning sharply to crouch beside Mort, knife finally put to use as he sawed through the ropes. He'd get his chance to follow, but for now... there was a Task to Complete. Wilson nodded. “Glad that you’re okay.” He lifted up an arm, revealing the slightly-tattered cloak. “Oh, yeah, some dog—“ [Hell hound] “—Hell hound got me, but the damage doesn’t seem to severe.” Wilson watched Caelius and shuddered, glad that the Death hunter was on his side. Note: do not mess with Caelius, ever. His mood quickly soured at the leader’s last remark. “Got it,” he murmured as he prepared his gun again. Unlike last time, he kept his attention focused on his target.

Freya uncurled from her ball of feathers and looked at the mess of chaos around her. She had no idea what was going on, but as far as she knew, her friends were in trouble. She crawled over to Mort, just as Christof freed him, and then laid down face up in the grass. She caught Herryk's look, and gave him a weak smile. At least the black eye matched well with all the other bruises all over her body from falling from the sky. The net that fell on her almost got ignored. She wasn't going anywhere, anyway. She had been an easy target.

Kat looked over the tattered cloak when Wilson showed it to her; grin still present. "Well--at least it matches the theme you have going on now?" Shrugging, Kat's eyes widened a little as she spotted something large and disfigured. Putting her hand on Wilson's arm, she pointed at what appeared to be a hunchback. "Oh my gawd! Lookatit! That is SO cool!" She just had to have it! Lifting her gun, she fired the weapon only to fall backwards; net landing at the hunchback's feet. "Did I get it?" Herryk was tempted to follow after the group that left to hunt down the caped man with the scythe, but he didn't want to leave Freya or Mort or Jove behind. It was so chaotic, trying to even figure out who was freeing who was something of a chore.
Since Christof had been able to free Mort, Herryk made his very best attempt at freeing Xiu. Too bad he was too stupid to realize that you can't really free someone when you're stuck in a trap.
Glancing at Freya while he worked, he lifted his brows as if to ask, 'everything okay?' Obviously it wasn't because the instant that Herryk glanced at her she was ensconced in a trap.
Well this was just awesome.

Tori at first had been overwhelmed when the creatures had appeared in the clearing and she didn't know where to shoot. But once hearing Caelius telling them not to ******** up that she stopped looking and start to aim for one of the creatures that were there in the clearing. Bringing the gun out from under her cloak and too aim and hoped that she wouldn't miss. Her aim had been true in capturing her target. (( Total HP value: 20 Total damage done: Your target: Christof

The sudden voice coming from the boil trapped in the net brought Xander back to what he was supposed to be doing. With clumsy fingers sliding and fumbling over the net, he finally managed to find the edge and begin to untangle it, freeing the Mantis boil. "There!" he shouted, triumphantly. Astra was knocked off her feet from a shock wave that blasted through the entire area. She scrambled to get back up, but fell down again as she was ensnared by a hunters net.
And right after Calder had told her to be safe.
"LET ME OUT!" She cried, franticly struggling to get herself free but to no avail. Calder and Jericho had already moved to follow Riley and the hunter, so she couldn't call to them for help. The only thing she could do was to sit there and hope someone else would try to free her.

Mandy may have been faintly amused by the antics of her target if they weren't the enemy. But they where, so instead she just felt slightly irrupted at their flippancy, growling lowly under her breath.
And then the master hunter spoke up, naming them and discussing facts about some of them, and Mandy decided she had bigger problems than these small fries.
She took off in a dead run after him like a number of others. Silently she hoped it wasn't a mistake, a bigger trap.
