The facility was impressive and foreboding, as much on the inside as it was upon the outside.
As they moved through the corridors, Tambrey found her mind running and poking at her anxiously; something was familiar, this was reminiscent of /something/. Something she could not place though.
Perhaps it was something she'd read, or watched... Or maybe and amalgam of things coming together and presenting her with a rather foreboding feeling. This place was creepy, anyway.

The dramatic doors did not help.
She was glad she'd chosen to keep Lasi out after the battle with the guards. But it soon became apparent that she'd need more than that.
There were legendaries here... and wonderful sci-fi machinery... It was all so grand and dark and imposing but there were also Galactics, as expected.
Some very intimidating Galactics, including one with a gun.
Tambrey wasn't sure why she hadn't expected to see firearms- it made sense- but the gun, and then the gunshot really surprised her.
She found herself diving away from the psychic attack and then looking to her pink bat.
Pokemon she could deal with and the supersonics had worked well on the other groups they'd met before...
"Lasi! Supersonic on that... the..." great, a bug pokemon that she wasn't really familiar with "...flaming moth thingy!" She directed him for the Volcarona. "And anyone in the way! But be careful!"

"Guh!" And he was off, the bat's sights set on the moth.

Tambrey then released her Aron and her (with a wince) Spinarak.
"Ella, stick with Neph, get her to /behave/. And headbutt anyone that tries to stop you two... Neph... Go with Ella and get close enough to string shot that gun. But don't get killed. And don't try to attack anything unless it gets in your way or /I/ say different."
Neph grumbled but complied, the ladybug-style Aron accompanying her with wide eyes. It was a scary place, but she'd obey!
Ella might not have been experienced, but at least she was well behaved and if Neph was going to listen to anyone, it would probably be the Aron.
Tambrey cautiously moved along after them as they tried to get closer. Ella could headbutt her way along... Tambrey would have to call them back if she needed them... She still had Palu tucked away if necessary though.

Once more Aila was met with circumstances that Pitre would have regarded with a strange sense of familiarity. They'd defeated the miniboss and gotten the key to the boss room, and now they were going face off in one final, fateful encounter. Fortunately Aila had none of these associations and was able to clearly concentrate on the matter at hand. Now was certainly not a time to let her mind wander, and the sharp report of Tethys's gun discharging was a startling reminder of that. Game time.

With a murmured caution, Aila pulled a familiar pokeball from her team and released her ghost once more. Revenant, luckily, was immediately understanding of the situation with as little as a cursory glance at her surroundings; this was no time for an attitude besides one that was perfectly serious. "Hit the bug with Power Gem," her human requested, and the Mismagius complied and launched her attack against the Volcarona.

With the ghost-type acting on her orders, Aila introduced a second participant to the battle, and the large, pink fire dog appeared with teeth bared and ready to seize the enemy. Her human indicated the target as the Lucario, "Charmant, ExtremeSpeed." The Arcanine happily - and swiftly - acted.

‘Oh s**t’ was the thoughts through panther’s mind as he saw just how huge the machine was. A gunfire echoed across the room, only reafferming the sentiment.

Shade was one of the pokemon let out for the cameras earlier, being one of the most useful, and back to decent health. Though he was still a little sore from the injuries.

Shade. "Cover us.” the gengar nodded and unleashed a hypnosis at lucario.

The second pokemon to be let out was Swift Wing, who let out a cry of agitation. “Airslash the Dragnite.” Swift Wing rose up in the air and unleashed an airslash at the pokemon.

Panther only then noticed the presence at his side. "Stay close." he said to Luxury.

And then, there was no more waiting, moving through darkness, curious about the destination. The resulting revelation was too much to take in at once. And there wasn't time to take it all in anyway.

Even surrounded by her fellow Rockets, when the gunshot rang out, Sierra instinctively dropped low, knees bent and eyes narrowed. There were Galactics near the legendary's platform, and more on the walkway leading to the central computer. Kunai said that was their target. They'd have to blast their way through, and brute force was likely the way to go. There'd be a lot of that flying back and forth she felt...

Still, time to pick a direction and push forward. To the computer. Aki fired off an Ice Beam beside her, spurring Sierra into action. "Marle! Thundershock!" she ordered, pointing ahead at the spinning Dragonite. With a swift hand movement at her waist, the Rocked released another Pokemon in a flash. Celeste soared into the air, screeching loudly to announce her presence. She had made the most of the flight here, Roosting to recover as best she could. "Be careful! Agility, then Wing Attack once your speed is up!" Sierra called out, pointing to the Lucario blocking their path.

The Pikachu bounded to the ground and forward to a clear space only a few feet ahead of the group of Rockets before bracing all four paws on the ground, and glaring at the 'bad guys' with sparks leaping from her cheeks. The electricity gathered, then arced towards the Dragonite. Celeste wheeled about in the air, Agility increasing her speed immensely, then she turned her keen eyes on the Lucario below. Tracking...tracking...flames were flying towards the Pokemon, so she'd bide her time, prepping herself for the dive with her enhanced speed.

(Backtracking)

If he hadn't known about the blue-eyed girl before, Nakura certainly did now. She was alert; boringly so. Even if she wasn't surprised by him, she might have at least twitched or been tickled by his breath in her ear. At the very least, wouldn't a female be unnerved by the close proximity of a male, teammate or not? Perhaps she was just a robot too well trained to be considered human anymore, like Faleen or Aila. Or maybe she just wasn't ticklish there. Whatever the case, her question caused him to pout and fall back. "I was just testing your nerve responses. I think there's something wrong with you; almost everyone's inner ears are sensitive." Maybe he just hadn't blown hard enough. "If I was trying to be a ghost pokemon, I wouldn't have bothered with that; I'd just have licked you."

(Present Time)

Well. Quite a speech from their commanding elite; particularly since she managed to keep talking before, during, and after getting shot. It was a good thing she had a legendary clone to support her. He was certain she'd be able to tough it out; no need to concern himself with her just now.

If Halloween had told him anything, Izaya wasn't much of a hero. If Shizuo had taught him anything, it was that he wasn't one for brute force. And, unlike the circumstances he was used to, Izaya knew next to nothing about their current, individual opponents. Save for one thing he'd noted upon skimming through the Rockets' last interaction with Deimos and his crew - one thing he planned to maximize to his advantage.

"Celty, Mairu, Kururi: out," he commanded, pressing each of his pokeballs in succession. His bandaged waist constricted his abdominal movement, so he couldn't do any flips or jump too high at the moment unless he wanted to split open his cut again. However, his twin dark-types were small enough to evade most of the larger, main pokemon the Galactics had just sent out. They were built for stealth, after all.

"Twins. Up on the catwalks," he said, not noticing his pun. "Celty. Stay by me."

Shade’s hynosis did nothing, causing the Gengar to frown and then send a dark pulse out at the lucario, before Agent panther could give an order. That counted as cover right?

“Swift Wing!” Agent Panther started to call out an attack when the ground beneath him suddenly became slick. His foot slipped and he fell to his hands and knees. “I’m good.” he looked up and up. “Fly!” Swift wing flew up and then came down at the milotic with a scream.

Undeterred by the attacks going on around them - or, well, Bonnie wasn't, but Clyde was visibly frightened - the pair of Whimsicott teamed up again to shoot the Starmie with another double-shot of Mega Drain.

Inigo somehow managed to dodge the Glaceon's and Donphan's attacks at the same time by diving gracelessly out of the way, and by the time he stood up he immediately saw another icy beam came hurtling towards him. He made a vaguely strangled noise before dropping to the floor with a thud for the second time in not even two minutes. The grunt jumped right back up though, as he had absolutely no desire whatsoever to be shot or attacked or anything. Oi, why did he agree to come on this? Could he like.. opt out of this or something? With a shaky sigh he released Leilani as well, ordering the Meganium to start charging a Solarbeam.
