Purple Tent"I don't know"It was words like that, that made the hound feel bad. "I see." was all that the mopey boil could say before Bul decided to exclaim how much pain he was in. "You and me both Bul, being benched does not sound like fun.." Of course, there was more to worry about than Bruteballs lineup. Recovery was one, and so was the unanswered questions. "So what is going to happen to the gym?"

Purple TentIt should be noted here that Mandy was both high on pain killers and half asleep. So when Alwine, her missing for many months love, just walked up out of the blue she could be completely forgiven for her actions. "W-Winnie?" she chocked out eventually. There was a pause as what was in front of her sunk in and her mind went through all the emotions angerreliefhappynessgriefconfusionbetrayalwhywhywhywhy. And then she completely ignored all of Professor Malcolms instructions for rest and flung herself off the cot to grab the ghoul in a crushing hug to her. Her voice was filled with barley repressed sobs as she buried her voice into the ghouls shoulder. "OhJackyourehereyoureheryourehere-" she paused in her frantic mantra as something occurred to her, "T-This isn't a dream right?"

Purple Tent"Yes, Mandy, it's--" WHOMP. The two of them collapsed on the floor next to Mandy's cot, a tangle of bandages and bear. If Alwine were not a ghost, she was certain she would have been injured... or at least had the wind knocked out of her. Being tackled by a Drop Bear was not fun, after all. They weren't called "Pounce Bears" or anything sugary like that. "If this were a dream, then it would probably be a lot easier for me to untangle myself," said the ghost as she pulled a bandage off of one of Mandy's ears. "Sometimes the physics of the ghostly even confuse me." Alwine was silent, and even though she had no head, it was obvious she was staring at Mandy. "Mandy, it's been-- it's been months. When I left you on that island..." Alwine balled up some of her bandages and held them to her neck like one might dab a handkerchief at an eye. "My family kidnapped me. I'm not exaggerating, I promise. They came when I was half-crazed from that fog and took me away to receive a 'real' education." Alwine shook her shoulders and continued, "It took me so long to save up my allowance to take a buggy back here. I can't even imagine... oh, Mandy, I'm just glad you're alive! When I came back and you weren't here!" The ghost draped herself on Mandy, wrapping her invisible arms around the ghoul's shoulders and burying her neck into the taller one's shoulders.

GODDESS OF TENTS - PURPLE "..... Alright, this might not be the most pleasant solution for you, boil." Cricket said, but it seemed she wasn't giving Bul a choice in the matter. The markings in her arms moved and the small glowing shapes actually moved out of her ectoplasm to cover some of the burns..... and from what it felt like, they were... eating. Not harshly so, but they were definitely devouring burnt flesh.
"Has Malodore given you any medicine or anything to drink? If so, let them finish up their task, and then I will bandage things up. This is the cleanest and least painful way for me to handle any burns." It wasn't an apology, but an explanation.
Cricket looked to Demi again when he asked about the Gym. "The Gym will not vanish without it's master. It is a shame to say it, but that is the case. As for classes.....how can I know more than you do?"
Hadn't Cricket only known about Red for shorter than both boils and been inside the purple tent for at least 98% of that time? "It has not been long enough for us to say, but I feel that no classes for at least a week given how everybody is faring will be..necessary."
Perhaps the only true change will be the meaning behind the photograph on my desk

Green TentThe trembling was fading, but the ghoul wasn't willing yet to move, or even lift her head, and as West moved his chin to nestle between her horns she sighed, relaxing an inch. He wasn't pushing her away or making a fuse, but holding onto her, even offering a comforting squeeze of his own as she clung to the front of him. It was comforting, but at the same time it gave away just how much he wasn't as alright as she claimed. If he was, if if he'd allowed her to cling, he wouldn't of held her back. Holly's voice beside them had the djinn turning her head enough to watch her, and she offered her the barest of smiles in appreciation. "Thank you for trying to reassure me, but I heard what's happened." Surely they would realize what she meant, because she wasn't able to clarify any. The orders of the Bogeymen had been very clear, and infuriated as she was by it, she wasn't willing to test them any by bringing it up here. "Are you alright Holly?" She didn't look injured, but considering she still had her face pressed into West's chest it wouldn't surprise her had she missed something. And on that point, she gave the boil a nudge with her chin, voice muffling against him as she pressed her face against him again. "Are you sure you're not hurt?" He smiled of ash and other unpleasant things, but beneath it all was the familiar sent of Westus.

Purple Tent "Oh... g-great!" Bul sputtered when the nurse's fear began to move visibly and started to benevolently munch on him. Keeping his eyes off them he tried to pretend it wasn't happening. Which worked for a while until she needed an answer from him.
"Yes actually he gave me stuff earlier aaah-" nervously he looked back to where he could see the most of his injuries being 'removed'. "That- eeeeiuugh-" he shuddered, "doesn't seem unreasonable but-"
Getting over it finally he just sat there poker faced while the nurse did what she needed to merely looking like a sad dog waiting for the vet visit to be over. OH WAIT. THAT WAS DEMI.
"Don't you guys hear all about this stuff I mean you knew we were going to have this trip right? Given the results of the last one you'd think.. erm.." Bul was starting to realize that maybe this was NOT planned out to the fullest?

Blue TentTybalt watched the small pup with a worried expression. He wasn't sure if the pup's silence was due to an injury, tiredness, worry, or all the stress that had happened thanks to this eventful day and there was no point in asking either, since the pup rarely spoke. At least to him anyways. Still, he wanted to say something to make the pup feel better.
"Don't worry, I'm sure Ren and the others are okay. I mean, LW, Mei and everyone are back, so I'm sure the others are too." It was hard to try and reassure someone when you weren't exactly sure yourself... but after seeing the others return, he was more sure of it than he was before. "I'm sure that bird brain will show his annoying face sooner or later."
He leaned back and stared up at the tent that blocked out the view of the gym ceiling, tired. He couldn't wait until he could go back to his dorm and just lay on his bed for the next few days without anyone or anything disturbing him...
....
Okay, so his minipets might hound him for attention, but it was still better than all of this.
"What happened to your back?" He asked concerned when LW asked his assistance. He had been hoping there was nothing, but it appeared that he was expecting too much.
Turning her back towards him, he took a look.
There was definitely a wound there. It wasn't anything serious. That is if it was treated. If she left it untreated, however, it would likely fester and was deep enough that it would need stitches.
"Those bastards..." He scowled at the wound, hoping it wouldn't scar.
Killing them simply because they exist? What a load of bull!
"How did you get that one?" He asked, his ears perked a little at a familiar voice that called in to them, along with another he knew, but barely.
"Hey Chuppi, Doc." He greeted them both, taking a seat beside LW. "I'm fine, as far as I can tell, but LW here needs her back seen to and I'm not so sure about Jove. If you could take a look at him, that would be great. How are you holding up, Doc? You look exhausted."

"You've only been gone for a night, boil. What more was I supposed to hear from the Boogiemen besides 'prepare for injuries'? Do you think I didn't plan for things to be disastrous upon your return?" she swept an arm up to show the entirety of the gym. "Do you think I set it up this way on a whim? It isn't a fluke your classmates are here assisting with injuries."
Cricket turned from Demi and leaned into Bul, her face angrier and possibly even more intense than the time she had devoured him.
"How am I supposed to prepare myself for students coming into this tent and telling me..." she paused, looking to the Boogieman who stood on watch for any slip-ups, seeming to growl at him, then dropping her voice to a bare whisper;
"Tell me how I'm supposed to be prepared for students coming back telling me that I will never see my best friend ever again? The ghoul who suffered through the boredom of classes with me and was a big influence on the kind of person I have turned out to be? Tell me how I was supposed to know that, boil?"
While she didn't cry, her voice turned from anger, to pain.

Purple Tent Aaaaand there went his comfort zone. Bul flinched the moment that Cricket leaned in close.
"I don't mean you I just mean... why-" he tried to get a few words in when she continued to grow even more and more terrifying. "Why does this school let this kind of s**t even happen?" Still what he had to say was overcome by her own personal connection to the incident and when she said 'best friend,' the boil felt something wash over him, freezing him, rendering him speechless until she was finished.
Blinking once, no twice, the boil actually turned his head ever so slightly. "Cricket- I..."
Who would have thunk that she had feelings like that about Red? And in Bul's eyes ANYONE? All he could think of now is how to reverse this. He had JUST been reminded of something that would haunt him nightly when he spoke with Riley and he just put the same burden on the nurse.
Avoiding those two, meaningless words he reached out very cautiously to place a hand on the nurse's shoulder, lightly in case it upset her or even singed him. It was still sorta inappropriate to him at least touch a teacher anyway.

Purple TentWhile the Nurse gave the Half beast treatment, it gave the hound time to do something stupid, Wag his tongue and essentially bark at the moon. Waiting, waiting was just not his specialty as he kicked his legs back and forth on the table he was laying on. "I'm going to agree with you on that Bul, the whole situation just seemed to pop up out of nowhere." he mused quietly in the tent. "Not to mention that one Boogeyman that decided to come back to campus ahead of the others, wonder if he made it OK?" It was just him barking at the dark considering how from his point of view, it just looked like Nurse Cricket was hunched over and focused on her work with Bul, Must have been more serious than he thought.

Enoh Love (( kind of turning red- NOPE STILL PURPLE tent )) W-what...?! What was--?! Being home was already full of surprises! The hug on it's own was enough of a shock, but to feel his lips on what was left of hers was just... what. It only blindsided her for a moment or two, giving her just enough time to return the gesture before he ended it all flustered-like. Kisses were an expression of thanks-giving, right? As in Thank Jack you're still alive, of course; just after surviving an incredibly dangerous thing seemed to be the only time she had ever received one after all! With this mindset (which she would hopefully be corrected on asap) she felt returning it was the least she could do... But that mysterious tightening in the pits of her stomach, now that was a new feeling. Mysterious bats in her stomach were mysterious. Perhaps a side effect from the battlefield...? "..." She stared at him as he tended to her leg. There was something important she was trying to gt through to him earlier...hrm, what was it? The shock of the hug and kiss was enough to make her forget for a time, but when she recalled it, her backwards hands moved to grip the one stitching her thigh, pressing tightly in hopes to get him to stop. " Please," Amrita started, putting a strange sort of desperate emphasis on the word. " Please look after yourself, Chris...s-stitch me later, just...please...?" Mysterious bats and the like were tossed aside for pure concern. ((Requoting it cause it was like five/ten pages ago XD)) Christof flushed further, stopping his mending as he glanced up at her. Lips pursing he signed a weak "Sorry" before scooting back. Barth still slept in his cot, everyone else tending to or being tended by the hustle and bustle of the tent. He would just get in the way in the state he was in. She was right. Corners of his mouth twitching up into a smile, he meekly gave a bow of his head before wobbling to his feet to retrieve his fallen limb and other artifacts, stuffing all of it into his satchel. That done, he quietly limped his way to Barth's cot, dropping down to the floor and timidly scooted his way underneath. He would stay close by. If he dozed off here, he wouldn't miss it if they moved the sloth demon and no one would trip over him. Plus they wouldn't waste a cot on him. He was here. His friends had all survived and were more or less in one piece. It would be okay.

PURPLE TENTMy, wasn't that an a tricky question to answer. Frowning, Seiji lifted one foot to rub along the opposite shin with his heel as he thought of how best to explain things. "After we went through those doors, I ended up in this big white room, and then we got sent.. I think maybe it was back in time, I'm not really sure. But there was a battle. We had to fight against false reapers to get to a tent so we could free a bunch of students, Jove and Calder included." He was still a little foggy on the details. "I thought you were there too.. The false reapers left though, without warning just vanished." He didn't bother mentioning having been injured by the whip, she'd see the gashes later. "After we freed everyone the house started spitting out these monsters, and they did.. things. Our clothing all changed. First to frilly pi-" he paused, coughing, and decided to skip that detail. "Well they ended up as cookies, and then I guess something attacked us with water." Again, he wasn't entirely sure, the last attack had killed him. "Anyways, a lot our clothing didn't make it." Malcom's arrival was a welcome distraction, and he offered the professor a thankful smile. Not just for seeing to his ghoulfriend, but for effectively ending his explanation of things that had happened on his end. He took the make shift sack from the ghoul without question, then stepped a little to the side so he wouldn't be in the way. Vaith wandered over to them, and was immediately met with a happy smile, but it faded as Seiji noticed the deadpan stare. "What?" He sounded slightly affronted, but realized a second later why the reaper was looking at him so funny. "Look, you don't want to know, and it wasn't as if I had a choice." Defensive much? A bit of hair drifted up and curled around his arm, and he glanced down at Junko, dark brows creasing. "Sir," he prompted to Malcom, glowing eyes flicking up to him. "What'd you give her?" Was that really just from painkillers? Jack ******** Skellington. She was blitzed out of her mind. With a sigh he settled on catching bits of hair as they neared the teacher's face so he could finish bandaging the ghoul on the cot. He did glance up though when addressed, and his eyes widened at the instructions he was given, then further as Junko commented, giggling. He wisely ignored it, and instead nodded, taking the bandages. "I can handle that." "Vaith, you alright?" He only just noticed the poor boil's hand, attention drawn to it by Junko's loopy joking. He'd asked, and he did care, but his attention slid inadvertently towards Bul and Cricket nearby.

Blue TentDark boots. Running shoes. More boots. One shoe like Tybalt. Bare feet. Jove seemed oblivious to the other two and their attempts to get him looked at as he watched students coming and going between the tents. What if Ren didn't show his annoying face? What if his big brother stayed gone, and he never came and ruffled his hair in public, or poked his nose, or called him "little brother" in a doting fashion when others were listening? What if he never had Ren around to embarrass him? The thought was almost too much for the little pup. He curled tighter around the gold star medal and chunk of bone like a fluffy little barnacle. But he made no efforts to voice his thoughts. He was putting too much energy into not thinking anything at all.

"We don't choose for these things to happen. You should ask Hellma about it sometime." Despite Hellma being one terrifying b***h, it was interesting to hear Cricket actually talk about anybody as though she actually didn't just plan the field trips to turn into hell. She patted the half-beast's hand when he put it on her shoulder, seeming to be somewhat unbothered by it. She just shook her head.
"Besides, if it is such a pattern, why do you go, knowing it will turn out badly? There has to be a reason for that, right?"
With that, she turned to look at the Hellhound.
"Has Malcolm seen you yet, or do you need a once over?" she inquired to him.

Purple Tent"I- I- everyday I stood checked your dorm room hoping you'd be back...and you never where and there wasn't any notes or phone..... I thought you'd left me." she sniffled, tightening the hug. "B-But - if they stole you. Then, I'll make 'em pay for you Winnie. They won't take you away again if you don't want to go." Her face was deadly serious. "Nobody takes what's mine." Why yes Mandy was actually officially claiming Alwine as her ghoulfriend. About Jacking time.
