Natasha knew she did not stand a chance and heard Eric catch up to her. She felt his nose on her shoulder and laughed before quickly turning to chase him. She stumbled a moment, but regained her balance and was running again.

Eric slowed down his pace so she could catch up. He looked back wondering if she was haveing fun or not. Normaly the others in the pack were annoyed with games, well except for the puppies. Though when they caught whoever was running they ened up with a few bites... puppies didnt know any better though.

Natasha noticed Eric slow down, thankful that he had because she would never catch him if he ran at his fastest pace. Grinning, she started to speed up as she became more used to running on four feet. It was still weird but it felt a little more natural now. Once or twice Natasha came close enough to snap Eric's tail, but he always remained out of her reach.

Eric heardher trying to bite his tail and he sighed. 'are you trying to bite me?' he asked and glanced over his shoulder at her. He ran a bit faster so if she was she couldn't.

"No...?" Natasha asked, confused by why Eric would think that. She saw him speed up and slowed down to a stop. Sitting down, she tilted her head and watched him continue to run.

Eric stoped and turned around walking over to her. " you alright?" he asked worried he made her run to much.

Natasha nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine," she said, standing up again when Eric reached her. "You just asked if I was trying to bite your tail and I was confused because I wasn't..."

"Sorry..guess its a thing from the pack days... pups and some adults would bite your tail..." he replyed " kind of a cheaters way to catch a person...."

Natasha smiled. "That does sound like a pretty cheap way to catch someone..." She walked closer to Eric and tapped his side with her nose before jumping back. "That's a pretty cheap way, too." She grinned and started running away.

Eric laughed 'Cheater!' he shouted then got to his paws and raced after her.

It felt as though hours had passed and Natasha was still not able to catch Eric without cheating. "I give up!" Natasha said as she stopped and laid down on the ground. She watched Eric for a moment as she tried to catch her breath. "I don't remember ever running that much in my life!" she said before opening her mouth in a yawn.

Eric walked over and sat down "its not so bad.... wolf's normally can run for long distances." He said. "Never tested it... but something about tracking prey? Shoulda listened to the elders more..."

Natasha chuckled and looked up at Eric. "Probably," she said before yawning again. "So... are we a two-wolf wolf pack?"

"Guess so..." eric replyed ' So that makes you Alpha female and me....' His fur felt abit warm reaizeing the ranks and the fact that alpha male and female were mates. " I can still be the omega....' he said with a smile.

Natasha tilted her head. "Shouldn't we both be alphas since we're the only ones in our pack?" she asked curiously. "But if there can only be one alpha, then it should be you. I know nothing about leading a wolf pack. You've been one much longer than I have."
