[ ʈ | ɦ | ҿ ➸ S | i | z | e | - | S | h | i | f | t | i | n | g ]xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxOmega - A night with RaineThe native shrugged in agreement with Raine's statement that it wouldn't take a great deal of effort to cause the girls to faint. Simply put, some of them were faint of heart. Crimson painted itself in her cheeks when he spoke of her being naked, obviously the statement was enough to form a few images in her head. Most men were easy; that was a fundamental rule that she needed to learn. Most didn't care what the girl wore, so long as she was good company. And as he took another gander at his dark haired date, he decided once again that she'd be just that.
“Yep, you're always good for that.” He said, grinning when she said she was happy to oblige him in his goal to make her blush. She was far easier in that aspect than some women, which made her double the amount of fun. “Actually, you were the first girl who popped in my head when I remembered that prom season was upon us.” And he'd let her make of that what she would.
* *
Her laughter was an easy form of music; it matched his personality perfectly. As he stepped into her room, he smiled – obviously approving her choices for the evening. “I'm pretty simple, makes me easy to please.” He remarked, taking another look with his chocolate eyes. Idly, he wondered if Cissa would make a comment about how Raine chose the wrong color, because she owned anything from candy apple red to crimson. Though, it looked good on her, and for this one night, the sun goddess would have to lend the hue to an Alpha.
Aren entered the room, restating the little nickname she had given him. His repeating it made her laugh slightly, taking a step forward in a rustle of red fabric. He complimented her on the color choice, the brunette laughing slightly when he mentioned that she normally stuck to shades of blue. Giving a small shrug as she moved over to the mirror to put one finishing coat of lip gloss on, noting his glance never leaving her as if he were trying to figure out whether he approved or not. Thankfully, he did, causing her to smile once more before grabbing the boutonniere to see that it was quite close to the red rose corsage her had for her as well.
“Don't worry about it.” He said as she struggled to get the boutonniere pinned to his jacket. “We've got all night, so take your time.” She was nervous, that much was apparent by the gentle shake of her hand; rushing her along would likely get him pricked with the needle.
She asked if she had something in her teeth, and the size shifter only chuckled softly, shaking his head in the negative. Tilting his head as though he were contemplating something deep, he scrutinized her one last time. “Spinach, a few bugs... and what looks to be a strand of hair.” He finally said, silently comparing his prom to the one he was at now.
* *
The study room he'd reserved permeated with the smell of the dinner he'd prepared for their evening. While it smelled delicious to him, a part of him was regretful that he'd not been able to take her out to an actual dinner. But his family had needed the money far more than he needed to indulge on one night. “I hope it tastes as good as you think it smells then.” He commented, finding a pocket of relief when she said she didn't mind not going somewhere fancy.
The little spark plug blurted out that she loved meat – an opportunity to make an innuendo that he couldn't really pass up, and the color in her cheeks deepened again. “Maybe I should have... My studies could use a break in order to hang out with a meat lover.”
She tasted the fry bread first, and pride swelled within him as an expression of delight crossed her face. It was then that she opened up a can of worms that she might later regret – she asked about what his life was like at home. “Things are a lot less...” He tried to find a word that would finish the sentence. But really, the less summed it up. Money was always scarce, it was less hectic... “Complicated.” He decided.
“The fry bread is a tribe favorite – we all eat it with a hearty stew.” His eyes lit up when she asked if she could learn the recipe, his love for his tribe so obvious then that it was almost palpable. “We could spend a few afternoons to let you get the hang of it.” Considering it was made from scratch, it might take a while. And that was just as well for him. Talking about home made his heart sore, but he felt like everyone who didn't grow up in his sort of situation was missing a key part of life. Because there was more out there. He'd seen New York, and the hustle and bustle of a big city. He'd experienced a large school, being a part of extra curricular activities...
But they didn't understand what it meant to have pride about their history, how to live off of the land past Logan's survival classes. What it meant to go without. Or the sense of community he got from his brothers. He was a well rounded person for the struggles he'd endured as a child. A lot of the members of the teams were, but they'd not likely understand what it means to be a part of a family... Not just mother, brothers, sisters and grandparents. But a family as long standing as the Siksika people.
“When I teach you, I'll tell you stories that have been passed down from generation to generation in my tribe. But if you get me going tonight, we'll never make it to prom.”

Kerrigan Schwartz Codename: Knoxx Team: Omega Location: Frontier University Current Thoughts: Cheers! Kerrigan waited patiently while Roland went off to get them something to drink. In the meantime, her green eyes wandered over those at the dance, some of them already hitting the dance floor while others got settled at their tables. Everyone looked great, she had to admit, her hands wandering to her own dress, adjusting her waist to keep the material from puckering. Clearing her throat as she caught sight of her date returning, she put on another sweet smile. He offered her a cup of punch, which she accepted graciously, grinning as he raised his glass and made a little toast. She released a soft chuckle from the depths of her throat, raising her glass slightly as well in response before taking a sip. It didn't taste alcoholic, but around here, that didn't mean much. She wasn't going to dwell on it, however. " Here, here. Very well put," she said with a smile, setting her drink down at her seat. Unfortunately, she was woefully bad at small talk, but he seemed to break the silence, commenting on how nice everyone looked, and how it was a nice change of pace from their normal attire. " You know, I love my uniform as much as the next girl, but it does seem like we've been spending a lot of time out in the field lately. But you're sweet to notice that, even in this dress, I could kick some a** if I needed to. Hopefully, I won't need to," she said with a grin, reaching out and taking another sip of her drink. He seemed to be really enjoying her company, and while the pleasure was mutual, she was a bit afraid that she wasn't doing a very good job of reciprocating his very obvious interest in her comfort. Clearing her throat, she offered him a smile, one hand making it's way to her hip as she looked at him under darkened eyelashes. " Look, I just want to say, I really appreciate you trying so hard to make me feel comfortable. But I don't normally have men knocking down my door to ask me to things like this, so if my manners are woefully lacking, I apologize in advance. I'm not the best at the whole 'being a date' thing. Just wanted to get that out of the way now," she said with a slightly nervous smile, a feeling that she wasn't necessarily used to. Kerrigan was normally confident and collected, and no doubt taking on a group of Brotherhood bastards if they were to crash through the door right now might be easier than spending the rest of the evening trying to think of small talk between the two of them. And so, when he brought up the dance floor once more, she perked up, taking a deep drink from her punch glass and giving him a nod and a smile. " No time like the present!" The redhead took Roland's arm, allowing him to lead her out to the dance floor, where Dimitri and Daylia were already settling into the beat. Kerrigan easily fell into step with the music, her abilities allowing her body to move effortlessly with the music in a way that complimented those around her. She offered the other couple a smile, not sure that it was a match she would have picked beforehand, but glad to see they were having a good time. That was what this night was all about, wasn't it?

 Raphael Ruiz a.k.a Technomancer
Location: The Music Room ||Who's with me: Alex, Anthony and Vee ||Current Thought: Yeah... for a smart guy, I feel like a total idiot. || Team: Alpha ||
♦▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤| Motorize me. The gears are cranking and I've got it in mind to show what my works can do. |├▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬♦
Raphael stood, staring at his reflection in the mirror. A frown adorned his face due to the fact that he was feeling uncomfortable. That particular night had one of the biggest, life-altering events going on; prom. He'd heard stories about what went down at these gatherings of mass hormones and frankly, this made him nervous. There were so many varying factors that weren't in his favor, it wasn't even funny. Raph didn't have anyone to go with, his bike was totaled from an incident that happened earlier during the week, he felt goofy in his tuxedo and his dancing.... Heaven forbid if a girl actually wanted to dance with him. "Ay mi! This is going to be a massacre," the technopath murmured in despair. How could so much stress be caused by an event that only lasted for a few hours? It didn't matter, he couldn't back out after being so close to going. After all, prom only happens twice if you went through school normally. That was his story, but he didn't get a chance to go to his Junior Prom. Something came up, but it was no big deal. The real fun would be at this dance, wouldn't it?
It eventually became too much for the manipulator of technology to look at his reflection any longer. Turning away from the mirror, Raphael walked over to his bed and allowed himself to fall on top of it. The squeaking noise of the springs were mildly soothing, partially distracting him from his worrisome thoughts. His arms hung loosely over the sides of the bed as he gazed at the lights on the ceiling. They reminded him of what took place during the day. Around noon, Raph had been called to Scott's office. A visit to the headmaster's office was usually never a good thing, but this time, that wasn't the case. For some reason, he'd gotten assigned to the Alpha squad. That meant that he'd probably be going on more dangerous missions and actually be surrounded by the same group of faces even more so. Contact like that wasn't really the technopath's idea of fun, but who knows, face-to-face communication might actually do him some good. Though a single buzzing thought came to the forefront of his mind. Would his mom be proud of him? "I guess we'll see once I start going on mission."
Sitting up, Raphael ran his fingers through his hair before sighing and forcing himself off of the mattress. Time waited for no man and he was no exception. He walked over to his dresser, scanning the surface for anything he might need for the night. Various objects littered the smooth wooden surface as he studying each item with curious eyes. One of the first things to catch his attention were gauntlets. The energy-blasting gloves were his pride and joy, as well as his primary tool in combat. To leave it at the Academy could be a disaster, but what if he needed them? "I wouldn't want to chance it and leave it here. So that's one thing, now what else?" Reaching out, he grabbed the gauntlets, stuffed them in a duffle bag, then continued with his search for any other necessities for the night before leaving his room. Raph picked up a intricately folded piece of paper and a tin filled with mints. The paper was a note for Isabella, his new squad leader, explaining who he was and his induction to the team. Taking another shaky breath, he slung the bag over his shoulder and left his quarters.
The halls of the Academy were virtually empty, with the exception of himself and a few of the students who decided not to leave. Maybe they have the right idea? I mean it's just a glorified dance where teens lose their minds over who's screwing who behind the bleachers or who rigged the nomination for prom king and queen. But if I don't, it'll be another thing that I miss. As he marched tensely through the corridor, he could hear a series of muffled voices coming from behind the door of the music room. One said with a French accent, “Yes. I am planning on going just to see what it is all about.” A crazy thought popped into his head. What if I went with whoever's going? As much as it didn't bother him, going alone might be unnecessary if there was someone to go with. He debated on what he should do for a good five minutes, then decided he should go in. Knocking lightly, Raphael slipped into the room quietly. When he looked at the surrounding faces, he saw that there were three people present. Two of which were girls; Alex and Vee, while one was a guy; Anthony. Chuckling sheepishly, the technopath introduced himself, "Uh hi... I'm Raph. I'm sort of new to the Alphas, but that's not important. I couldn't help overhearing someone say that they were going to prom. Although this is weird, I was wondering if I could tag along or something." A number of thoughts flashed through his mind as he spoke, but one stuck out sorely: You, sir, are an idiot.

xxx xxx v e e x x x x x x x x x x x Alpha | "Sleet" | Cyrokinesis | At dorm Room 262[Vee's] M c M U R P H Y
As Vee dropped to her knees to pick up the scattered sheets of paper, the other girl nicely offered to help her pick it up, but Vee responded in an explosive outburst, crying, "No! She surprised even herself. She hadn't meant to be so... explosive. She continued, muttering in a hushed voice, "No, no. I don't need help."
As she plucked the last few sheets of paper from the floor, she heard another person enter the room[Raph]. A guy's voice, again. "Uh, hi... I'm Raph. I'm sort of new to the Alphas, but that's not important. I couldn't help overhearing someone say that they were going to prom. Although this is weird, I was wondering if I could tag along or something."
Another person to see Vee completely make herself look like a fool. Feeling extremely embarrassed by now, she jumped up, keeping her eyes on the floor and face covered by her long bang, sheet music clutched tightly to her chest. She rushed out the room, pushing past the two guys standing at the doorway [Raph and Anthony], and down the hallway back to the safety of her dorm.
Once inside, she leaned against the door and let out a huge sigh. She was extremely disappointed that she couldn't even play one song. Perhaps she could return later in the evening. After all, it sounded like there were two of the three that were heading to the prom. Now able to think, Vee thought back on what happened a few minutes ago, analyzing everything and everyone. The guy, Raph, had said that he was new to the Alphas, which probably meant that he was new to the school as well. As was herself. She wondered if the Academy were short on students, to be accepting students in the middle of the year like this.
Vee sighed, again, plopping down on her bed. If he was a new Alpha, then she knew she'd be seeing him again sometime soon, whether it be in the hallways, during class, training sessions, or whatever it was Alphas did. She would think no longer on the matter. Vee stared longingly at the sheet music in her hands. If she couldn't play piano, she would play the one other instrument she was adept at. Hopping up, she went back to her luggage bag, taking out a small, rectangular case and another fairly small, slim bag. She took the contents out of the bag first, carefully pulling long pieces of metal out. She spread out the pieces and attached them together, resulting in a small but effective silver music stand. She moved on to her case next, opening it with extreme care. She always kept her flute in top condition, cleaning and shining it each week, even when she didn't play, although that didn't happen often. She took the head, middle, and foot joint and attached them, staring at it intensely so that she would get the spacing between the head and body joint just right.
When she was done preparing, she pulled out one of her favorites from the luggage case and set it on the music stand, using little clips to hold the paper back. She put the flute up to her lips, playing a quick scale in sixteenths to warm up. Then, with a rhythmic breath, she began playing, playing a soft, melodic, haunting piece that always reminded her of nature at its most peaceful: forests on a silent morning, dew collecting on the grass, and the quiet of the ocean at night, waves lapping gently against the shore.

OMEGA:.............. "The term human's for me includes mutants." He said flatly. Because he didn't see mutant's as really a different species. They were just the ones who happened to get something extra. Sometimes that extra was benificial and allowed them to do amazing things and sometimes not so amazing things. To Gideon the mutant gene was the same as those with out powers who are naturally gifted in one area or another. Sure those gifts aren't generally blow up a city block or juggle tanks special. As generalized as the view may be it was still his, it wasn't one that would change they way others thought about the issue. "I came up here because it's one place she would look if she finally wanted to talk. Your opinion on things is still clouded by what the Contessa had beaten into you." Gideon said not showing any malace in his voice when he said the womans name. Kat still wanted the X-20 from the files, but that just isn't who Gideon is anymore. It's not who he wanted to be anymore. If that was all there was for him was to be. Then the world was better off with him living out his days in some isolated part of the wilderness as far from signs of civilization as possible. Gideon shook his head as Kat responded that what he said was cryptic. To him it was pretty straight forward. "I guess they didn't teach you as well as I had thought if that last comment was cryptic to you." The poor girl would probably never be able to have a full conversation with Beast then. He was pretty sure that's where he himself got that line. Beast loved to spout lines like that from time to time. "I never said all of what they taught was useless. I just don't go for the kill anymore if I can help it. Other then that I still use the skills I was taught there as well as some I have picked up in my time here." Gideon wouldn't lie her being agitated was amusing since normally she spends so much time trying to get under his skin. He remaned quiet waiting for her to say something. She compared his current life to that of playing house on television. That he only said the right things acted the right way. Kat could simply not see past that damned ideolized version of himself she built up from the files. It could even come from the fact that she had been with the Contessa herself. That was one of the few things about her time besides the pack thing that he had gotten Kat to actually share. Gideon knew that if he wasn't here at the mansion and had actually been taken back to HYDRA the Contessa would be do all she could to get the beast from the files back. Of course her methods would involve tortoure along with some other creative things she could come up with. "Yeah but Kat here you are saying that the people here forced me to change. That isn't the case. I came here wanting to change to be more then the weapon created by HYDRA. If I hadn't wanted to I wouldn't of changed. And here you are condeming them for forceing me to when that in and of itself is what you are doing. You refuse to accept my words that I don't want to go back to what I was at HYDRA that I don't want to be that monster. But here you are everytime trying to force it on me to change me to fit this ******** ideolized vision you have in your head for how I should be and live my life. I don't get how you don't get that simple concept." It wasn't a surprise that she eventually got the other side that he locks away out. She did know his past and could hit enough buttons to open the metaphorical cage for the beast. After the comments about messing with him killing an afternoon and then saying he liked her presence. "You mean tolerate. That's the term you were looking for. I tolerate your presence. If I liked it our encountered wouldn't be just you coming to find me." He said honestly. Those he liked to be around he actually would go find them. Sure the HYDRA conditioning he was certain would imbue her with a natural confidence on such matters. "There are plenty I can't kill and could very well kill me. I mean if Magneto had a mind to he could probably pull every bone from my body from a distance, leaving me a discusting pile of torn up un recognizable flesh on the ground. And that's just to name one." He just went on the idea that people just hadn't cared to really try to take him out. Well besides the demon things a few years back those just weren't smart enough to. "Yeah but you are the one that wants that beast out when I very much don't. Which in and of itself stupid. And just like packs of wolves the Alpha only protects those it sees fit to. Not any wolf that comes along and decides they are in the pack." His comment there was clearly to her. Since it was true he hadn't decided it she was the one coming along saying they were some pack. And he knew it was only because that's what she was used to having all the other shifters around. It seemed Kat finally got what he was saying. Granted he hadn't expected that sort of reaction from her. Any one could tell his words had actually hurt. Which he hadn't ment to but she just woudln't listen to what he was saying. She was trying to force some bond on him in all the wrong ways. "Yeah I get your training makes you stubborn. But if you actually want my help you are going about it in all the wrong ways. And I do get that they made you a killer a 'monster' and if given they chance they would force it back on you as they would me too. All you have done really in the time you have been here is condem this place for changing me or as you see it ruining me, and then trying to get me to be the thing the files says I am." Granted Kat didn't get that Bella did accept Gideon for who he was. The songstress had seen him kill in cold blood with out so much as blinking. She never forced change on him only helped it along because she understood it was what he wanted. Kat was just to stubborn and blinded by HYDRA still to understand that fact. Gideon said what he needed to so he didn't feel the need to go after her. If she turned back and came out on the roof again that was her choice. He would not be chasing after her.

Omega, Location: Prom A mutual understanding "Fair enough. I notice things that are pleasing to the eye. And if you haven't noticed, I'm stricken with the ability to not be able to hide my true thoughts with these glowing balls in my head. So when I see something I enjoy, I am obliged to just be honest about it. It may have gotten me into some trouble in the past." he said to Kerrigan as they enjoyed the impromptu toast, "And yeah, you're talking to someone that kind of grew up in a world of violence, so a break from the whole fighting thing is a nice change of pace."Roland had to chuckle a bit at Kerri's apology for her possible lack of manners, her smile proving that she was in fact really nervous, "Listen, it's not trouble at all. You're talking to someone that hasn't expected to find women wanting to break down my door just to leave me their phone number. I'm not exactly used to the 'taking out a beautiful woman' kind of thing either. So let's just go about this in the best way possible. Obviously I seem to be great at small talk, but frankly I'm grasping at as many straws as possible." he said to her, opening up to her in the most honest way he could, "I've had some issues, part of which is part of that note I left for the boss. So let's head out on the floor, dance, drink, and perhaps have a deep conversation under the moonlight during a pleasant walk. That is, if you wish to do something like that."She took his arm pleasantly, her bravado to head out on the floor was something to be admired. She moved wonderfully on the floor, like liquid fire before him. Looking at her with a wink, he stated a simple fact, "Just so you know, a personal rule is my hands move wherever you want them to." his golden eyes scanned about the floor, seeing Dimitri dancing with Daylia. Oh god this was going to be one hell of a night.

Alpha: Playing doll for Rogue.... Then dealing with a certain blonde tk user. Lillian smiled at Alex when she said she wasn't interrupting her chat with Aurelie. Aurelie's answer to the question wasn't lost to her it just wasn't the right one. Or well I guess one could say it wasn't a good enough one for Lillian to decide not to drag the girl along. Besides she did have a good reason to even if others would call it silly. Really it was just an excuse for more time with one of her team mates and Rogue would kill her if she didn't go to the prom, the older power mimic did go through the trouble of getting her a dress. So that left the prom as the only option. With a finger looped firmly through a belt and beginning to tug Aurelie off the piano bench her roommate tried to interject. "No no resistance is futile. Besides she will thank me later when she ends up having a good time." Lillian said to her room mate. "Don't worry I am sure we will find something fantastic for you to wear in your closet." She said in response to the doesn't have anything to wear comment. To Lillian it was just a silly attempt to not have to go. She flashed a bright smile to her roommate who didn't object to her taking of Aurelie. Her roomie probably saw that it would of been hopeless to attempt to stop it. "Oh we will be there." Poor Aurelie probably thought Lillian had some crazy plan for her or something given how insistant the power mimic was on her attendence at the prom. "Aurelie if you hear from them who ever your supposed to hear from can join us there." She said as if it was nothing for someone to show up to the prom. As they made there exit with blonde TK user being dragged behind by her belt loop they passed two people in the hall to whom Lillian simply flashed a brilliant smile. There was no time for chit chat with others she still had to get Aurelie ready to go. It was cute to Lillian how even as they neared the blonde's room that she still tried ever so heard to change her mind. Guess she didn't know just how stubborn Lillian could be. "And? I don't have to be there for the whole night." She said waving off her continued attempts to get out of it. ---------------- Once they were in Aurelie's room Lillian went right to the closet the girl pointed out as hers. That left the TK user sitting on the bed as her clothes were rifled through to find an pleasing outfit. For now it seemed the attempts to talk her out of making her teammate go had finally ceased. She was right about the lack of the traditional formal attire in her wardrobe selection. That didn't mean she didn't have a decent selection of perfectly suitable dresses to choose from who cares if its not what others consider formal. Lillian was sure there was something in here that the girl on the bed would look stunning in. "There are still some nice dresses in here." Lillian answered the blond in her continued attempts at getting out of it. Occationally she would pull out a dress and hold it up while picturing Aurelie in it. So far the ones she had pulled out just wouldn't do her justice. But there was bound to be one in here that would knock everyone's socks off. "Well we are going to make him realise the folly of his mistake in not taking you or at least not meeting up with you for your not prom time." She said as she pulled out another dress to hold up. Nope that wasn't it either. Lillian laughed at the comment about not being able to get in jean shorts and a tank top. "Oh I could get them to let you in naked let alone in what you have on now sweetie." Lillian said with a wink. But given the blond's expression after the naked comment she quickly added. "Not that I am trying to make you go in your birthday suit just stating my point. Even if you would be the life of the party coming in in the Emperor's new clothes stylings.""As I said before we don't need to be there from the beginning. The term fashionably late exists for a reason."Lillian kept shuffling through the girls clothes when she came upon a dress. After holding up the dress and looking at Aurelie it was the perfect one. It was a short blue dress with gold embellshments on it. It was going to go fantastically with her blue eyes and blond hair. "Oh this dress will be perfect. You are going to look amazing." She said handing it over to the TK user. "You put that on while I find you some shoes unless you know of a great pair to go with this?" Lillian was already looking around for the right accesories to go witht he outfit. Then a comment from Aurelie that made Lillian stop and raise an eyebrow in question then she laughed. "Just because you don't dance and were raised Amish doesn't mean you can't dance." Lillian said simply and even so Lillian could probably teach her some moves out on the dance floor. Her skills may not be what they once were but Lillian had studied dance for a while once upon a time. And if that wasn't good enough she knew that a quick touch while someone was dancing would give her the skills if needed. Not that she planned on doing that in the first place. "Besides you can always follow my lead and you will do just fine." She said though Lillian got a feeling that the whole being Amish thing wasn't the full story for the don't dance comment. But given that she was forcing her to the prom thought better of trying to find out what it may of been. Besides she was doing this to become better friends with her teammate not to make her hate her.

Dimitri gave a small smile, giving a light scoff from what Daylia said as a response to his comment on testing the anger in women. He didn’t know about having that tingly feeling everyone all knew inside of him but there were times where Dimitri was guilty of getting some cute chicks mad just to do it. “Hey, it’s good to get off on different things every now and then…keeps things interesting” The playboy jested before finishing with his slightly more serious comment. “Plus some women just look cuter when they’re angry.” The playboy wanted to put it to the test by commenting her about her small frame, after finding out that his feet wouldn’t shatter it in one blow, but saved it for now. On the dance floor it was… difficult to say the least for Dimitri to not see the awkwardness in his date. The only time they really exchanged dialogue was back at the Halloween event. She did dance with other guys before right? Perhaps if they knew each other a bit better or shared more words it would have been different.
“Maybe next she wants you guys meet in her room, you should just pretend you didn’t hear. You can always politely say no thanks I want to live but you’d probably have a better shot getting torched that way” Dimtri advised “Plus I can’t have my prom date getting killed off before the actual prom…maybe after, but not before.”
The playboy didn’t have to worry about his nuts being in any danger after he switched the definition of getting lucky to involve poker. “It takes a while to know what your doing but after that you kind of get hooked to it.” He told her. The playboy didn’t really expect her to know how to play texas hold em but would have been surprised if she knew how to rack up some cash that way. As for the rematch with the playboy, the geokinetic and the southern girl he was down for it anytime. Maybe he could make things more interesting this time around, make things a slight less PG. “Yeah we can only hope heh but if you’re ever interested or end up in debt from the mob or anything I can teach you some things in poker.”
Even though Dimitri may have seemed like a compliment would only make the one giving it to him regret it soon after, it was good to hear her reason for going out with him. He didn’t quite believe her when she told him that she wasn’t expecting anyone to ask her, as if she wasn’t attractive enough to be considered an option or some of the guy’s lists here. “Thanks, and I would have expected at least a few people to ask you…I mean its not like you look bad or anything.” he complimented. And just like the chameleon giving a laugh before returning the question on getting laid tonight, Dimitri laughed at her response. “Haha it sounds like you have some spots picked out already to get lucky.” The playboy was young but he was guilty of having preferred sections to get laid to, but to him it lacked the spontaneous element; the part that made it more alive when he would get it on in places he didn’t expect. Their conversation about getting lucky may have turned some people off but for Dimitri it was good to see that she was loosening up; mentioning that so far they didn’t need to call an ambulance yet for broken metatarsals. “Yeah all those times playing Dance Dance Revolution are really paying off haha.”

Name: Raine "Glitter" Burke Team: Alphas Power: Creation and Manipulation of Electricity Location: Study Room Dinner Raine laughed when Aren assured her that he was easy to please. It was good to know that she didn't have to try so hard to impress him throughout the evening. He seemed to appreciate her color choice, despite the fact that it wasn't her normal hue, the pair exchanging flowers like proper prom dates. She fun bled a bit with his boutonniere, clearly nervous, though he was nothing but charming as he told her not to worry so much about it. As he said, they did have all night, so she took a deep breath toe ready her nerves. He seemed to keep looking at her, causing the brunette to shift nervously and ask if she had something in her teeth. Of course, he responded by listing several cliches that she shouldn't worry about, her features breaking into another smile as she rustled forwards and gave him a soft swat on the arm. " Alright, smart aleck, point taken." Her arm linked gently through his as he let him lead her to the next stop on their Prom agenda. ------------------------- Everything smelled delectable, the firefly sitting down to a nice dinner with her charming date. He asked if she was a vegetarian, which she was quick to dispel, to his apparent delight. He mentioned putting off his studies to spend time with a meat-lover, the brunette giving him a coy smirk. " It doesn't take much to get you to slack of on schoolwork, does it?" Despite her numerous offers to tutor him, he always seemed to turn her down, though she was glad that meant the time they did get to hang with one another was spent in actual fun as opposed to sticking their noses in books and notecards. Tearing a piece of the fry bread off and popping it in her mouth she was instantly engulfed in a symphony of flavors, Raine having to ask if the recipe was something she could get from him. It was cute how proud he looked of it when she complimented him, the brunette asking about his life on the reservation. His response seemed tentative, though he quickly launched into an explanation that the fry bread was just as popular on the reservation. He seemed glad when she asked if she could get there recipe, Raine smiling when he mentioned spending a few days together until she got the hang of the recipe. " Sounds like heaven. Though, I am a pretty quick study. Might not take as long as you think," she responded with a soft grin, noting his slight change in demeanor. No doubt, he was going back to memories of home, which she was sure he missed dearly. She didn't get to go back and see her family as often as she liked, but truth be told, she didn't have the roots that he likely did. She was envious of his even having tales that spanned generations, smiling at the thought. " I'd love to hear stories sometime. It has to be wonderful having such rich cultural heritage. The best I have are stories of my great great grandparents and their trips across the plains. But, as you say, different conversation for a different time - my God, this is delicious." It was strange for the firefly to interrupt herself, but upon taking a sip of the gumbo, she couldn't help herself. As if he wasn't perfect enough, let's just add amazing cook to the list. Wasn't she a lucky lady?

Kerrigan Schwartz Codename: Knoxx Team: Omega Location: Frontier University Current Thoughts: Hitting the Dance Floor Roland explained his approach to beautiful things, Kerrigan listening with a grin tugging at the corners of her lips. He was quite the sweet talker, a characteristic she wasn't sure she would have pegged him for in their previously infrequent interactions. It really showed how badly she needed to get to know the rest of her teammates outside of their uniforms. Raising their glasses in response to his impromptu toast, she took a sip of the punch before setting her drink down in front of her coat. He agreed with her that it was nice to see everyone outside of uniform, giving a but of insight into his background in violence. " I'm an army brat. It might not be the same, but I grew up with 3 older brothers. It was get tough or noogies on a daily basis." A grin remained fixed on her lips, the redhead quickly launching into a slight apology, just to get it out of her system. Of course, it was bound to happen eventually, but as grace would have it, he took it all in stride. His smile was rather reassuring, given her fears for the evening, and she listened to his response with an attentive gaze. He mentioned grasping at straws to keep the small talk alive between the two, the redhead brushing her fingertips back through her bangs. He mentioned that he had some issues from the past, and that was just one more reason for them to enjoy themselves this evening - put it behind themselves. " Well, I'm willing to throw all those cares away, if you are. I might just take you up on that stroll, depending on when they decide to bust out the macarena." Of course, she was more than happy to head out to the dance floor, taking his arm and allowing him to lead her out towards the floor where there were already a few couples falling into step with the beat. Kerrigan was quick to settle in herself, smiling over at her date when he made a comment about his hand placement. She wasn't necessarily used to dancing with other people, but his comment made her laugh. " And as a personal rule, if your hand move where I don't want them to, you might suffer from a broken wrist." Her grin suggested that she was kidding around with him, though given what he knew of her on the field, she was sure he would know that she was telling the truth. After all, if she didn't take care of it, she had no doubts that Cissa would finish the job. Body swaying with the music, she turned her sights on Daylia, giving the girl a bright smile and a small wave as she did a quick spin, noting that she and Dimitri seemed to be having a good time. It was a couple she hadn't necessarily expected, but as long as they were having fun, that was what counted. People would likely be saying the same about her and Roland, though the evening so far had turned out better than she anticipated. In one fluid motion, her body sidled up to her date's, close enough that it was clear they were there together, yet not inappropriate. She'd have to have a lot more to drink before anything like that happened, and as long as she remained relatively in control of the situation, the only contact he would get is an appropriate arm tuck and a possible brush when he pulled out her chair for her. If there was one thing about this academy that she'd picked up over the years, however, it was that things never went as anticipated. And, in the spirit of putting the past in the past, this redhead was determined to keep an open mind.

╔═════════════════════════════╗ Alpha: Prom |676| Thomas "Transmigration" Morgan ╚═════════════════════════════╝ It had been a long while since Thomas had done anything he would consider fun. With the teachers restricting visits to the city and the recent mall disaster he had been busy doing what he could. The healing properties of his blood had been used to help heal up those wounded at the mall often enough he was too exhausted most of the time to even check to see how the wounded were. Even with one of them being a previous teammate of his. When he was requested to join the Alphas it was clear they might have need of his blood in the future so he accepted. Bella was an old acquaintance of his so Thomas was sure she wouldn't be displeased with his promotion. Though he wasn't sure if the songstress knew of his promotion yet. Either way it was time for prom and he was allowed to go alone or with someone.
Naturally he had opted to go the lone wolf route and go stag. It was the natural choice given that he had decided to fill a spot for a chaperon. His age making it far too difficult to even consider thinking the prom for him. Though now that he thought about it he had skipped out on prom before for some reason he couldn't quite remember. While he had debated not going at all it did sound like it could be at least mildly fun even if he didn't dance. Well didn't want to dance. Dancing could be too sensual for him. Though he did know how to dance oddly enough. Dancing gave him a feeling of deja vu that he once again attributed to his former life. That and the fact that when he started dancing the moves came natural as if he knew how to do it all along. Though it was a far cry from professional dancing.
Putting on the suit that had been provided for him for the event Thomas made his way to his choice of transportation which happened to be the motorcycle he owned. His helmet firmly under his arm he got on the motorcycle and placed the helmet on his head before starting it. Then seconds later he was racing towards the college which the event was being held at. His arrival some time later was a little delayed as he chose a longer route around to enjoy driving a little more. Getting off and removing the helmet he made his way inside silently slipping in and taking a seat to scan the room for anyone he might know passed a basic introduction. Bella was sure to be here somewhere. As was Narcissa though he shuddered at the thought of finding the blond.
While Thomas didn't fear her his past experiences with the woman had told him that she would be far from cordial with him and therefore he tended to avoid her. He could see a few of his old teammates from the Corsairs and Shadow walkers enjoying their night off though he didn't offer much more than a smile and a wave. Crossing his legs as he remained seated Thomas leaned back and enjoyed watching the younger people dance and have fun. To him it was almost as good as if he was out having fun as well. Especially with everything that had been going on recently. Fun was becoming an endangered species for mutants with everything that had happened. Sometimes he was amazed they could still have fun. Still he remembered how easy it was to forget everything else in the face of a big event like prom.
Letting out a slightly amused sigh as he observed Thomas stood up and slipped his hands in the pockets of his suit. With another glance around the room the healer began walking on the outskirts of the room slowly looking for any opportunity to do his thing as a chaperon. It was the least he could do really. And if he happened to run into any old friends then that was fine to.
╔═════════════════════════════╗ I will now rise from the ashes. Don't call me pretentious. I'm sitting here making my own rules. And if I fall from the ceiling. You'll be down their waiting. And my only hope. Is falling down. ╚═════════════════════════════╝

The telekinetic shrugged easily at Alex's assumption that everyone would be sprinting off to prom for whatever reason. Smiling gently she shook her head. “Well honestly, I got out of the infirmary just a few days ago, so even if I had wanted to go – which, make no mistake... I didn't, there wasn't a lot of time to prepare anything.” Let alone snag a date to a formal event. There were very few people she would have wanted to go with to such a function, and the one that popped in her head almost immediately had voiced adamantly against not going. It'd suited her well – until he had to attend physical education make ups...
The sensory adaptor seemed to be deep in thought when Aurelie mentioned that she had plans for the evening; the telekinetic assumed it was the girl trying to figure out just who her team mate had made plans with – not something as completely pointless as semantics on how Aurelie had phrased “hang out date,” which simply meant she'd planned the evening around it, versus letting the chips fall where they would. “Date” just made it seem more official, so that people wouldn't force her to postpone it so that she could go to the ridiculous dance. The quizzical look she received only told the former Corsair member that Alex hadn't picked up on the queue that she didn't want to go further into details about what she'd rather be doing.
At times, the girl seemed more sheltered than Aurelie ever viewed herself, and given how she'd been raised – it seemed nigh impossible, unless Alex's parents had kept her in a padded cell, never to see the light of day until she'd come to the academy. Even compared to the backwards way of living that the Nissleys thrived on, it was beyond what she'd consider pitiful.
Though, Alex offered her hopes that whoever her friend was finished his school stuff so they could enjoy their evening in, and Aurelie smirked mirthlessly. “I hope so too.” Because no one knew how much she'd been looking forward to hanging out with him again. The past few days had been sparse of Dom's witty banter – a note she'd become far too accustomed to during her time in the infirmary. “Sure you will.” The blond said with a wink in regard to her team mate stopping a few hearts when she got to the dance. “Alex, don't you know... everyone likes a blond, French girl in a dress – especially if she doesn't step on people's toes when she dances.” What the girl really needed was a boost of self esteem, and Aurelie was happy to supply it if it'd keep the girl from being as awkward as Tsukino had been. Lillian bounced in, apologizing lightly as she yanked Aurelie from the piano bench, intent on getting her ready for the event. “I did. But they both wanted to go. I don't.” She really, really didn't.
Without further interruption, Lillian dragged the blond along, insisting that she get ready. “Lils, I'm quite certain I'd rather stay at home.” She said that whoever Aurelie was supposed to hang out with could meet them at the dance, and her blue eyes searched heavenward. As much as she liked Dom, she had numerous doubts that would ever come to fruition. “I own nothing formal. There's never been a need for it.” And the telekinetic wasn't the princessy type, that would just buy a gown in hopes of being able to wear it one day. But with each excuse Aurelie gave, the mutation mimic waved them off dismissively, not one willing to listen to reason.
----------------
“I'll be completely out of place in those.” She protested, when Lillian pointed out the collection for dresses that she had. “None of them are suited to a night like prom.” As the brunette rifled through her closet, Aurelie continued to murmur her protests, even if they still fell on deaf ears. “It wasn't his choice to be late...” But going into just why he hadn't shown up would have been a dead giveaway. She paused for a moment, tilting her head with her thoughts. ”...Did you just use the word 'folly' in a sentence?” She blinked, contemplating if she'd heard that correctly.
Naturally, the girl didn't catch the reference to the Emperor, but understood the point that Lillian was trying to make. Her eyes widened at the thought of being naked – even for her, a lover of rebelling against her family customs, it seemed extreme. “I doubt that very much...” Was all she could say in response. But the remark didn't stave off the search for long, and the brunette was quick to return to the depths of the Alpha's dorm closet, sifting through her collection. “Surely you want to be there already. You're wasting your dress trying to fix me. Go on without me, Lils.” Giving her a smile, Aurelie turned away before muttering, “I promise not to catch up.”
A while later a blue ruched dress was revealed to the room, and Lillian seemed to have decided on it being the perfect match. It certainly wasn't a dress that Aurelie had bought for herself, but in her sister's line of business, she loved to send the latest fashions as she came across them. Her being in the magazine business did wonders to help build a wardrobe. “Oh... I can't wear that to prom....” It was more suited for going out to a bar. And prom, contrary to what many a teenage films would depict, was not some sort of booze party. She hoped.
Sighing, Aurelie rubbed her eyebrows, searching for the best way to avoid that part of prom altogether. “How's this... I'll get dressed up, I'll go to your prom thing, on the condition you don't pull me out on the dance floor? As I really don't want to go, but I'll compromise if you'll at least allow me that comfort.” And if all else failed, she'd just hover too high for Lillian to reach. It wasn't as though the girl could fly.
She waited, dress in hand for the brunette's answer, unwilling to budge on that part as she texted Dom, telling him that she was unfortunately being dragged off to the high school event of the year if he wanted to meet her there, and quote, “Save her.”

Omega, Location: Prom A Dance, a fight, hey it’s a show! Kerrigan's explanation of growing up as an army brat brought a smirk to his face. The girl that he was with, had one hell of family history. He could only imagine what it would be like to have one siblings, let alone 3 older siblings. Roland grew up as an only child, as part of a criminal’s group of thugs. He was the youngest, and while they did things that could be considered family-like, he never really had anything resembling a sibling like relationship. It was a shame really, it would have been nice to have a brother or sister around. It might have made things different, perhaps better, perhaps he could have gotten out of the life earlier on. Perhaps they could have helped protect Sonya. The thought of siblings aside, her response to dancing the night away made him smile a bit. It was nice to know he wasn’t the only one that wanted to just cut loose and enjoy the evening without the pretense of preparing for a fight or something like that. The idea was that this night might finally be something worth enjoying. He had to laugh at her response to his statement about hand placement. He could tell that she was joking, but was under the impression that for all intents and purposes she could very much lay him out on the floor if she wanted to. Though, the fact that she was a fighter made the thought her even more intriguing to him. “Perhaps at some point we should have a sparring session.” he said to her as they began to dance. She slid closer to him, causing Roland’s eyes to glow even more. It frankly excited him that this beautiful, no he’d have to take that back, gorgeous woman was dancing with a beaten and scarred piece of meat that the world called Roland Chevalier. Part of him wanted to reach out, to touch her waist. But the reality is that it would very likely be like fire: beautiful but dangerous to the touch. So he relented for the moment, continuing to dance and simply enjoy the moment that was before them. But then things just had to come from left field and screw it all up. As they continued to dance, something caught his eye on the corner of the dance floor. It seemed as if one particular couple was not feeling the magic of prom night. Apparently, it seemed that the man of the couple was trying to feel the goods, and his date was not interested in any sort. She continuously pushed his hands away. Finally he tried forcing a kiss, which was then resulted in her pushing him away and storming off. Roland continued to observe this situation, keeping decent eye contact with his beautiful date. The boy, a youth probably around Roland’s own age then proceeded to pursue her. Grabbing her by the wrist, he then proceeded to yell at her. Looking to his date, with some regret in his eyes he said to her, “I’ll be right back.” he then walked across the dance floor and towards the squabble. “Come on! You said you’d show me a good time!” the youth said, he was clearly a human date that the girl had brought along. Looking at the young woman, she appeared to have some signs of a physical mutation. Her eyes were a deep red, the color of blood, and she appeared to have pointed ears. Despite the appearance of this girl was quite pretty, a fair complexion accompanied her unique characteristics. Roland’s eyes began to glow with a bit of a temper brewing, “We having a problem here?” “Yeah, I get invited to this thing thinking I’m getting some by my boy. And then she turns out to be a total tease! What the hell is that about man?” the youth was about six foot thee, a big boy, probably a basketball player based on his height and build. His speech implied that he some kind of “street” credit to his name. The likelihood of the matter is that this guy got his “cred” from the music he listens to. “Well from what I could tell, you tried to reach into the cookie jar thinking it was a good idea. But she wasn’t having any.” Roland stated, “Frankly, I’m shocked you didn’t get a quick hit to the family jewels there.”The youth looked at him, “What, you think she’s in the right? I oughta kick the s**t out of you golden eyed freak. Yeah I know what you are, but I figured I might as well get some mutie strange up at the freakshow you call a school.”Roland’s features turned from simple authority to out right fierce, “Now, I’m going to ask you very politely: leave this place, and don’t bother to come back. You don’t get to argue, you don’t get to put up a fight.”“Who the hell are you to tell me what to do freak?” and that’s when he made his third mistake. The first was trying to take what he did not deserve from this young girl, the second was believing himself to be superior to those around him. The third was throwing that punch. He threw a wild haymaker, one that for someone that had no experience in dealing with fighters would only result in someone getting knocked out. But that was not going to happen right now. Roland’s instincts kicked in and the altercation was ended in about 15 seconds. The first four seconds were spent bringing his arm up to block the blow so his body stretched out. The next seven seconds were spent then proceeding to grab him by the bicep, applying bone-crushing force meant to do some serious damage. The last four seconds spent during this “altercation” were Roland’s fist smashing into his shoulder. He felt the bones crack and pop as he left a very obvious dislocation of his shoulder, and a possible minor fracture of at least his collarbone. The pain made him let out a pain-filled groan as he got down on his knees, grasping at his shoulder with the arm that is capable of moving at the moment. He considered adding a right cross across the chin but decided against it. The guy had already been humiliated enough. He just looked over to the girl that he defended, “Are you alright?” “Yeah I’m fine.”“You should probably go home, or at the very least try and enjoy the night with some friends. They’ll understand.” Roland said to her, waiting for one of the senior X-Men to approach. Luckily he was approached by Dr. McCoy, his face not exactly too enthused. “Look, he can drive himself to the hospital. He’s got a dislocated shoulder, which I am responsible for.” Roland said to him, the bestial intellect looking to him with some anger in his eyes. Emma Frost then saved the day, by coming over, discretely turning the youth catatonic, “I don’t approve of your actions, but I do appreciate the intent behind them. Now let me rewrite his memory. He had a good time, drank a little too much punch, and then fell down the stairs on his way out. It’s a simple fix really, just don’t do that again.” With that she motioned for Beast to moving the young man, who did so with some annoyance. Frost then walked over to Roland, running a finger down his chest, “Do that again, and I’ll turn you into a three year old girl.” with that, she walked away to continue making sure the prom went off without a hitch. Roland then made his way back to the dance floor to his waiting date, “ Sorry about that. I just hate to see a woman get treated like that.”

Name: Narcissa Grace Lucania-Stone [No relation, to Any Alpha's] Codename: Solaris Team: Omega Location: Prom Temperament: Calm--With the potential for an atomic bomb. Cold glacier eyes surveyed the poor unfortunate soul that she danced with. Her gaze was unrepentantly hard, as if she could see through him if she looked long enough. There had infact been rumors going around the elementary school students that she could shoot lasers out of her sockets like Cyclops… And of course, she would never deny it. It was one more page out of her book to remaining potentially evil and feared. She simply allowed others to think what they wanted of her…No matter how vile, or outlandish.
She barely even had to break any bones anymore—The rumors perpetuated themselves.
The topic turned back to Felix's fortunate kiss—One he was lucky to have lived through, and she listened quietly for several moments. Some might have been surprised at her capacity to pay attention to others… But it was just one more thing that she liked to do, without making the world aware. Silence was golden, when information was being provided… And information was quite often power.
Narcissa liked power.
“It still wasn’t about me.”, she trailed off, her tone almost exasperated. She had this feeling like she was suddenly teaching a kindergarten class on how to treat your neighbor. “I’m blond, hot, and seemingly available—Every male that doesn’t swing towards Elton John has pictured me naked, at least once. But that isn’t about me, that’s them.”
“Your little lip locking extravaganza was all about you….”, the sun goddess went on, letting her head loll back for a moment, gazing at the crystal chandelier that danced teasingly above them. She liked shiny things by nature, especially things that refracted light… Tilting her head back down, she sighed, remembering that she was trying to teach this little cretin what women did and didn’t like. “You don’t know me. You can’t possibly know what I like—Or what I’m attracted to.”
As far as half the school was concerned, she like her men big, red, and demony. Or hispanic. But who was really counting?
“You really should try and figure that out before making a move.”
She grew quiet against as she listened to his response, using his body temperature to regulate her own. It was a common practice for her to set her outer core at the same level as those around her…It was difficult, considering her natural state was well over a hundred and twelve degrees… But it was necessary to avoid setting things on fire, or burning flesh from bone from those nearest and dearest to her. “I wouldn’t say that we’re…Good, exactly.”
“The X-Men do wave that white flag of X-liberalism…But really… We are merely the arrow that points towards moral north when the wind blows right…Though on occasion, the arrow slides towards questionable east or west…”, she explained, chuckling softly at her own analogy—The sound soft, and feminine… Not at all like her hard tones tended to be.“And if you get really lucky…We point sinfully south.”
Narcissa had been grappling more and more with the policy’s that the X-Men upheld. After years of fighting off villain after story book villain… She couldn’t figure out why they didn’t just kill them. It would keep them from coming back, and save innocent lives. It had always bothered her…Especially considering that she would do anything, to keep her team safe from harm.
Even if that meant a preemptive strike.
Felix asked her suddenly, what had made her decide to go with him—And she laughed outright. Her golden hair seemed to shine silver in the light as she shook her head, amusement dancing in her aristocratic features. ”Curiosity, love.”
“Curio—“
Narcissa cut herself off as she heard the sounds of a scuffle distantly over the loud music…She stopped dancing, body turning as her gaze swept the room with all of the compassion of a barren wasteland.
Watching Roland fight with a boy she’d never seen before, she sighed, feeling irritation boil underneath her sternum. –This- was exactly why she’d attended this antiquated function… Because she couldn’t trust her team to keep it under wraps. Emma and Hank made it to the scene before she did… And Narcissa felt shock well within her, at the easy way the telepath dismissed the incident.
How cavalier she was, at wiping the flat scans memory of the true events that had taken place. Wasn’t that exactly what she and Scooter had been arguing about all week? Using their abilities to strip individuals of their memories and free will when it wasn’t necessary? The spike heels that she wore added to her merger height, but she still had to hop a little to be able to properly whack Roland upside the head.
“Don’t. Play. Vengeful-Cowboy-Daytime Soap-Hero.”, she snarled at the much taller man, her finger poking none too gently at him with every word as she rounded on him and his date. Kerrigan would be used to her temperament by now. “There are -staff- here for a reason.”
She understood that there was something in Roland that couldn’t let things go sometimes… She didn’t know exactly what had trigged this episode, but it couldn’t continue. Not when human mutant relationships were so fragile. “Keep your hands off the humans. If you see them doing something they shouldn’t be…Tell a Professor. That’s why they’re -crawling- all over this place. If Emma hadn’t of been wiling to wipe that boy…This event would be on the six o’clock news tomorrow. Mutie beats up on poor unfortunate golden boy at a dance sanctioned by Xavier's School for the Gifted...Perhaps authorities should investigate...”
“Remember the Registration Act? We don’t need anymore bloody fingers pointing in our direction… Not for any reason.”
Her eyes flickered to Kerrigan, maintaining that same expert level of frost...It was the Red Queen speaking, not her dear friend or roommate. Which meant that her next words were an order, not an option. "Keep him out of trouble." "Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Team ↠ AlphaxxLocation ↠ Pool Side Eli looked at Reggie with bewilderment, why would anyone want to change something that has reasonable and steady functionality? His science based mindset clicking away. It made no sense to him.
'What's with people and biting..? He asked himself as Reggie added to the list of people who claimed not to bite. Humans naturally don't bite like rabid animals, why would that be a reason to be more comfortable with them?' He mused. These people here were definitely strange.
"I know what you mean." The magnetokinetic said, relating to powers going haywire. He was always careful of not overusing his powers, that way it wouldn't lead to a 'meltdown,' for lack of better word. "But knowing and learning always secures safety. If everyone was knowledgeable in the slightest, there'd be no conflict in the world."
"Agent Provocateur? I suppose it does have a nicer ring to it, and less derogatory I suppose." He finished up. "But, in all seriousness, why go to a function just to change it? Granted I understand the concept of mischieviousness, but this function is already designed to be fun, why ruin it?"
