"That don't sound like singin' ta me, boy!" Ricky shouted into Felix's ear with unnecessary loudness. To be fair, Ricky was always loud - nearly always sounded like he was screaming. That said, this time he was actually attempting to scream, so there was extra loudness with little proximity. He rose the beer bottle's rim to his lips, arm still wrapped around the boy's neck and took another swig as he continued to noogie him. He wasn't worried about getting kicked in the balls. He'd punch the ******** lights out if that were the case. "It'll all be over once you start singin'!"

But Felix didn't to start singing for Ricky stop, the changes in the Surrounding were enough to make him stop. The rainbow road glowed brighter than before as music began to play. He backed away from Felix, looking at him suspiciously as the music filled the atmosphere.

"Well I be damned," he said, amazed. "You playin' that music by yourself?"

He didn't like it, not one bit. He took another swig of the beer to ease his nerves.

Bela, now currently going by Mary Read paused, "Ohhh.... I really don't like the fact that is starting to remind of me of Jaws Music...." She was looking around, something seemed off. The lights of stars seemed to Occasionally flicker.

"Virgo, do you mind if I call you that?" She paused, "Anyways and far be it for me to sound like I'm rushing you... but do you think there's a uh....." She paused and moved closer to the captain, "Safer place?"

Her brows furrowed. She wasn't quite scared, but the fact that was noise was giving her goose bumps was an indication to her they needed to move. She was moving back and accidentally bumped into Roxy "Sorry." She said with a frown looking back to see who she'd bumped into.

Aya agreed with Regina. Into her notes on all this craziness went, alien 'cat' - looks more like spider-crab hybrid. She didn't believe male-Gemini for a second, but it was probably too much to hope that all of these senshi were as forthcoming as Virgo.

"Monsters," she repeated, dutifully jotting it down. She'd be more inclined to disbelieve Virgo as much as she did Gemini's cat comment, if it weren't for the number of blurred 'monster/alien' photos arriving in the conspiracy pile at work lately. Being a junior, she often had to sort through the crap to see if there was anything there worth pursuing. Once or twice she'd used a blurred photo of a senshi to run with a piece of the terrorists, but she'd thought the monster shots as real as the ufo photos. Maybe she needed to hunt through those photos again.

"Alright, I'll buy that," she said with a shrug. At the very least, it would give her a unique article. Everyone and their mother was doing terrorist reports these days. Senshi protecting the earth from monsters? That would get Aya's name noticed.

"So where you born on Earth, or out here?" she asked in response to the claims that the senshi were mostly human... just better. She was waiting for a response (Virgo was a popular girl, what with everyone wanting answers) when something faint reached her ears. She frowned. Rubbing at one ear didn't make it go away.

"Is someone actually getting reception out here?" she demanded. It sounded like some tween's idea of a creepy ringtone. She forced back a shudder, telling herself that no kid's Internet-ripped mp3 could actually be honestly scary. It was just nerves and the stress of being stuck here.

Cathleen looked over at all the new arriveals. At least she was kinda able to gather some kind of details about where they are. She looked up just in time to see something in the air. She couldn't quite make out what it was but those noises started again but instead of being peaceful they are horrifying to listen to. She covered her eyes. "Make it stop." She screamed.

"No, but I'm about to kick both of yours." Came a voice from behind Mack. The ever-grumpy Guardian Cat of the Zodiacs was, as always, not pleased with the Gemini's little, ah, show. Purple ears were flattened back into his hair, blue eyes narrowed to give him an expression could only be described as '******** you all I'm too tired for your bullshit'. He was pretty easy to read, that Zue. Luckily for the both of them, before he could go any further with his threat, the shrieking noise made him flinch, his ears twisted this way and that...and he finally took stock of the sheer amount of people here.

"What...the hell are all these people doing here?!" He demanded, searching the crowd for someone responsible...which meant he was no longer looking even remotely near the Gemini pair. The Guardian Cat's search was briefly interrupted by Cathleen's scream, and she was regarded with a rather heavy glare before he went back to scanning the numerous faces.

Mal had remained mum as everyone shared such dazzling stories of their evenings, partly because she didn't know what the hell a Soldier of the Zodiac was and partly because she couldn't come up with a convincing enough of a lie to cover for spending the night getting high and watching Doctor Who. Interesting, certainly, but convincing? She fixed her bare feet with a glare, as the lack of proper shoes made it difficult to believably tell people she had been charming everyone at a very important gala for very important people by saying very important things.

She would have been content to simply hang back and allow space's most ineffectual customer service rep attempt to sort out the crowd, if not for the first stuttered strains of a Ke$ha song piping up behind the good captain. Mal's eyes widened, and then narrowed.

Gingers.

Gingers who liked Ke$ha.

... in space.

She glared at Keren. The girl's feeble adolescent arms would not be nearly punishment enough for Gemini Alpha, who had apparently been born out of an attempt to thwart the efforts of the Scottish Anti-Defamation League. Mal was generally against violence, but hitting a Ke$ha fan was both a service to the community at large and the fan in question, on the off chance that some goddamn sense was knocked into them.

But even worse than "Tik Tok" was that incessant melody that had increased in both volume and spookiness. "Really, it's great to know you're all as useful as horoscopes make you out to be, but can't you at least do something about your world's alarm system?" Mal requested of Virgo rather unhelpfully. She could only assume that's what it was, alerting the "senshis" of the intruders they were already well aware of. "Or at least consider changing it to something a little less creepy?"

Aya did a double-take at the owner of the new voice. "Alright, that one I'll believe is a cat," she muttered. Talking cats in space. Of course.

To the kitty, she said, "It appears we were all abducted and brought here. Your, uh, Virgo, has said that some of the monsters you fight can teleport?"

Not that anyone reported seeing any such monsters, 'humanoid' or otherwise, as Virgo had said.

Some of the other humans were panicking over the music. Right, possibly not someone's phone, then. "Was that you lot?" she eyed Virgo, the Geminis and the cat in turn. "You heard it, right?"

And now there was a talking cat. This just gets more and more weird.

He turned back to the guy next to him.

"Good to meetcha, Joshua," Fritz said grandly, shaking the other's hand before slipping both of his back into the pockets of his worn jeans, rocking back on his heels. "And I know how you feel; it's a little bit too...much right now.

He gave a mildly melodramatic sigh and shook his head, causing his dark red hair to fall across his palely freckled face in messy locks. "Unfortunately, man, I don't think this is a dream. Or if it is, it's not quite my style, y'know? I'm not sure I want to be walking across a My Little Pony bridge with no idea where exactly I am."

"Or maybe we're all just tripping on drugs we didn't know we took. I knew that taco from Taco Time last night tasted a bit funny..."

Unfortunately that explanation was not going to pan out, and Fritz knew that damn well. He gave a small, slightly sheepish laugh, which trailed off uneasily. Something had flickered in the distance - something too far to make out, and maybe he was hallucinating in this hallucination, but Fritz could have sworn that he had seen...well, something not normal.

This observation was only strengthened when it happened again - a sound, like a low, baritone that shivered across his skin, straight into his mind. It made the hairs on the back of his neck rise, and Fritz felt that tightening in his chest again, the kind that did not bode well. It was almost as if that music was penetrating into his head, and it felt...unpleasant.

"...what is that..?" he murmured apprehensively to Joshua.

Amy was preoccupied with listening to Joce and Regina, content on hearing what they had to say as she was starting to feel overwhelmed with everything. The drunk pair didn't really help her vision on these craftily dressed and mostly calm Zodiacs. Virgo seemed poised, if irritated, that sunshine dude had been pretty relaxed for the 2 seconds he had been around, but the Gemini Zodiacs left something to be a little desired.

Wrapped up in her unfair judging, it took a moment for the sounds to register in Amy's brain, but it certainly brought back that terrible feeling. She shiffered, clinging hard to both the girls she had on one arm each.

"Oh...oh that is so...so much worse," she struggled to say, trying not to scream like one of the other girls. She just felt pure terror at the moment, no matter how much she tried to calm herself.

“Woah… space whales are back.” Dannay said quietly, her eyes widening as she then started trying to imitate the tune under her breath. What a strange sound, what an odd…cadence. “Are the… was that normal?” She said waving her hand towards where the stars had briefly flickered. “I don’t think we covered that, but we heard that odd sound before back…that way?” She pointed from where they had come.

Felix winced as Ricky loudly shouted and hastily motioned to cover his ears and salvage his eardrums. “Do you really expect me to sing Ke$sha?” he snapped, attempting to twist his neck to glare at the man. “I repeat: let me go or—“ Ricky let him go. Surprised by the sudden action, he crinkled his brows and mirrored Ricky’s suspicious look. However, it was replaced by an expression of disdain. “You must be really stupid if you think I’m playing that music.”

He decided to escape Ricky’s sight while he still could, instead searching for Layton and Callum once more. While their presence was not entirely pleasant, Felix sincerely preferred them to Ricky. As Felix squirmed his way back toward the pair, he paid closer attention to the music. It was considerably darker this time. The corner of his mouth twitched.

Regina protested being dragged away from the red head, willing to overlook his alien infestation if it meant getting closer to him. Heck, maybe it would give them something in common. Maybe it would give them a reason to talk. Maybe...

The noise made her shiver once more and she was almost willing to pull just a bit closer to Amy in return, and likely would have had it not been for the cat. The talking cat. Once more her eyes were as wide as saucers and she was pulling away from the teen (attempting to, at least), another tightly wound string in her brain just bursting.

"Jumping Jimini, it's a talking cat." Now she had seen everything.

...

"Did that cat." He stared at Fritz "...Just talk."

Yeah. This was getting way too ******** weird for Josh's tastes. Odd that, of everything, it was a talking cat that set him off, teeth gritting and sending an hand to rub the bridge of his nose again. "********, I wanna wake up... Go home... Don't care which. This looks like something my little sister would dream up."

The tone of his voice made it apparent that he did not like his little sister. She was still better than some of the whining banshees, through.

"I don't do drugs, so sorry to break it to ya, but that's not it." Was that a grin on the black haired boy's face ? Yes, yes it was, but his expression turned serious again in a matter of seconds.

Mostly because the sound happened again. The sound again, longer this time. His hand was now cluching his chest again, teeth held together so tightly that the only thing that escaped was an hiss.

"s**t... You feel it too ? We... need to tell her." He gestured toward Virgo. "Terrorist-senshi-zodiac-whatever, she's probably our best bet of getting the hell outta here..."

"Cat's don't talk." She snapped. She was going to completely ignore that there was a talking cat standing right there. It couldn't -be- a real cat if it was talking. That wasn't a comforting thought either and she kept her grip on Regina firm.

"You aren't going over there. It might not be safe." She was responsible for the dumb girl now damn it. She couldn't let her just go wandering off to get eaten by one of her 'aliens'. She'd feel horrible even if the girl would deserve it for being stupid.

"Amy talk some sense into her."

"Hey, ******** you man!" Ricky shouted to Felix as he ran off. The wimpy punk - Ricky wanted to punch the sucker square in the jaw, but he couldn't process the insult in enough time to react quickly enough. Instead he was just left irritated with pent up rage that he didn't get to release. He took another long swig from the beer before making his way back to the Gemini Zodiacs, offering them back their beer.

"What in the hell is goin' on here?" he asked to the two kilted Zodiacs, now that his priorities were in order and he had an interest in what was going on around him. "Are we gonna be taken back home or not cause I ain't so sure I'm diggin' this party."
