─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ Casey obviously let Bella coerce him into just sleeping. No matter how intoxicated he was at that moment he knew that she was right. While he was still sleeping however back in the hotel -that was just as snowed in as he cabin at that moment- another person awoke after sleeping of a rather wild a night. Among many feelings while waking up the blonde was mostly glad she hadn't subconsciously decided to cling to the male in her bed while sleeping. Yet at the same time her whole body reacted to his mere presence.
For the longest time she stared at the man's scratched up back -grace à yours truly- replaying bits of the previous evening. She still wondered how he had gotten into the room before her and he had been there long enough to even been pouring the champagne she had suggested. That, however, made the first five minutes alone in a room somewhat awkward. She hesitated for a while and so did Fang, like it'd be a bad idea to just drop the pretending and just jump each other on an animalistic whim. It wasn't until Annabelle decided the man needed to taste like champagne that the floodgates opened. Everything that followed, every bite, taste, scratch, kiss and trust were things she'd probably remember for weeks to come and that scared her to death. Looking around the room was full of signs of where they had been and what they had done. Broken glasses, toppled chair or two, the champagne bottle and remains of the champagne on the floor and the bed was a complete mess even for just sleeping.
When she was done with remembering , however, Annabelle slipped out of the bed got dressed and escaped the room to find some sort of consolation somewhere in the hotel. There was none to be found and she merely wound up wandering for two hours before returning to her room. Secretly hoped Fang was still there and another part prayed he' be gone from her life, gone forever.

Unaware to the blonde who sat awake after a night of debauchery, Fang lay on his side because of the subtle pain in his back from the scratches made by the woman beside him. At least, that was the reason he would say if ever asked why he couldn’t lay on his back, and seeing as it was an unlikely question, he didn’t think the response through any more than that. The truth was that Fang had been awake for three hours…pretending to sleep. Not because the bed wasn’t wonderful, or the idea of sleeping in a damp bed irksome to him, but because he never actually ‘slept’ beside someone who wasn’t a good friend of his. Unless it was more than sex, he left afterwards…and in being unable to break his rule, the man stared at the wall when he woke up from the ‘catnap’ and realized what had just transpired.
Unable to keep from imagining ‘Tinkerbell’s’ arms fold around his waist to snuggle herself up against his own, the man had partly stayed awake in the hope of her actually doing it. It didn’t happen, but still he waited; vaguely aware that Annabelle was awake until he thought he felt the mattress move. Rigid simply to avoid painful farewells, Fang listened as the woman slipped back into her clothes without making the slightest sound of movement. Heaven forbid she knew he was awake and felt inclined to say something she didn’t want to say. However, the second that the bedroom door closed, Fang opened his eyes and quit paying attention to the screaming feelings that swore the alphabet of swear words to demand Fang to go after her or somehow encourage her to come back into the room. The emotions so loud in his chest, it took Fang several minutes just to process them before he could decide what the hell he was going to do.
‘ So she left…Not much I can do about that. If she had wanted to stay she ******** would have.’, it was for the best for both of them, so Fang would have to suffer until whatever screaming in his heart went away. You know she left so she could forget you, right? The sheer idea of Annabelle not remembering him in two weeks irked him beyond what he was able to feel and remain rational and controlled. Any other woman, he usually wouldn’t care two cents about being remembered by, but they hadn’t just ********; in his mind. It was far too intimate at one point for them to go on day by day and not admit that whether they wanted to or not they made love, and if Fang was going to be stuck remembering that, then sure as hell Annabelle was too!
Almost violently ripping himself from the bed fully naked, Fang paced to the nicer phone on the ‘business desk’ and tried to call the front desk. He ended up calling the place three times, each time testing his patience more and more until it was spent. Finally someone picked up, but by then he was too sour to speak nicely into the receiver.
“ Alight listen up, my father owns your a** so you better ******** answer when you know its me.”, Whoever had picked up the phone was a new employee, and registering just ‘who’ they couldn’t answer the call for because of other patrons making requests, the new person stuttered some scared apology. Forgiving and forgetting it, Fang scoffed into the phone.
“ Whatever, nevermind that. Listen. There is a lady in--”, Fang had to double-back a moment to recall the room number that Annabelle was staying in before speaking it into the phone.
“ You know the roses in the lobby that are for display? Get twelve of them, put them in a vase, and send them up to her room whether she’s in there or not.”, Fang waited for the person to stutter something back, and after a series of computer clicking, Fang finally heard a response.
“ W-would you l-like to l-leave a note?”, Fang hadn’t thought that far in his planning, but the idea of not letting Annabelle know exactly who left the flowers was too tender an issue for him to risk. Nodding even though the gesture couldn’t be seen, Fang pressed his mouth against the microphone and glared at the broken bottle of champagne that represented to many things to describe at the moment.
“ Yeah, write ‘thank you’, and sign it “ Fang”.”, Whenever the little person responded, Fang said ‘yes’ before slamming the phone down on the receiver and kicking a broken piece of chair to vent his frustration. ‘ The hell she leaves before I wake up! The ******** she’ll get away with that!’, thinking that the note and roses were a suitable revenge, Fang felt smug enough in himself that the vengeance was appropriate before dressing himself and returning to the penthouse suite. A few days later, the storm cleared, and Fang and his younger sister left the building as quickly as they arrived.

─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ Part of her hopes were fulfilled in the hotel room. Fang was gone only leaving traces of his sent behind. She'd be alone for now and she really didn't expect the man back. Sadly enough there were roses waiting for her and she could but grimace painfully at their discovery. The note only added to her declining mood. Yet, she held back for a moment, savoring other emotions like a guilty pleasure. She took one of the roses taking a moment to taste their scent before she turned to the room's big window. Staring out to the snowy white landscape that had decided she couldn't just run. She gritted her teeth, one of her fingers pressing down on a thorn till it bled.
She was torn, terribly torn and as she tried to make up her mind she left the single rose on a table. going left and right, pacing almost violently as she really wanted to settle her mind and silence her heart. The end result was her crumpling the note, throwing it in the trash can and immediately following it up with the contents of the vase before throwing that against a well out of sheer frustration.
The rest of her stay she tried to drown her mind in utterly boring laws, but she remained unable to dispose of the last rose and of the man's shirt. Whatever she tried, part of her wanted part of him to follow her home. As much as she hated it she indulged it.

As far as the hotel adventure went there isn't much more to say. Whatever Iorwen had tried to amend with Sarah more backfired after lying to Bella bringing them back to the point where they had started -unwilling to talk- but in the inversed direction. Iorwen didn't want to bother anymore, but she definitely didn't look forward to seeing her stalker again. As things went she did see her stalker again, but luckily the girl kept her distance, which was well enough for the blonde/brunette.
Casey and Bella somehow found each other again. They talked, talked forever and somehow even got to some of their insecurities. They managed to mend their old friendship and more. It was awkward to say the least, but right at the same time. Casey promised he'd never let Bella wait like that again, because he was more than unwilling to lose her again, lest they be this lost again. As the months passed by they did make love again -with that same awkwardness dominating the start, but not the rest- soon more than once and Bella finally moved back into the house fully and completely leaving her now old one in the care of Iorwen.
Just as their relationship became more stable, Bella became more grumpy and rounder and Casey really just needed a break now and then. Which Bella was apprehensive of and part forced him to have, though sometimes he lied and said he'd be hanging with Einian while in truth he almost always spent time with Makoto who had stuck around in the country to study. Casey only gave Einian a heads up that he did lie like that, to the mohawked man's slight discomfort, but for now he backed Casey up none the less. Meanwhile Bella found her own comfort with Skull, via texts that became more regular as the situation got slowly out of hand behind the backs of the two lovers.
Makoto stayed -which his sister didn't like and Kono didn't mind now newly in love, but unaware that he might not have such easy access to seeing Emily again. He found more of a friend in Casey -who had tried his best to explain that whatever happened drunk shouldn't happen again. Makoto excused this rather rash action of staying in this country with saying he was going to start studying as an interpreter. Bonus turned out that he saw Casey more often than not. Was he still hoping to get a hold of the male? Sure, but he didn't say it out loud.
Mato isn't a fool, however, and decided that it was a good idea to invite an old friend over to stay and study with him in case what he had going on with Casey back fired. Suoh -which is this particular Japanese friend's name- took the bait despite his general social awkwardness. As always though Mato didn't tell him the whole story and it didn't take him long to discover there was a third person in their house and it took him equally short to find the Makoto had a fairly special friend.
And Annabelle well we'll get to that in a minute.

How she got back into America was a mystery to Aiko. She was just glad the family let her and Kono do just that and could afford it to add to it. Wait a minute... She remembered why she was in this couch next to Makoto, Kono talked her into this -because she'd never let him travel alone- under the guise of let's visit our brother since it's been 3 months. Hell he'd even been there for most of the phone calls from Mato lately and for the first time in years Kono got rid of the pink in his hair. Though the switch to blonde was just as awful looking.
"I don't get it..." She murmured to herself, not knowing why Kono suddenly turned up in her room back at the hotel or why he looked flustered at first. That look in his face had also been the reason Aiko hadn't just went full out rant against he boy. "What don't you get?" Makoto silently asked. "Because I have explained fifty times over why I'm staying and why Suoh's here." "No not that Toto I got the message now. Just... Kono asked to be here." She frowned deeply sinking into thought. The youngest member of the family wasn't there just resting up in his room. Normally...
"It's probably nothing to worry about. He's just finally growing up." Aiko would've believed that if their old friend Suoh walked in with a fairly black expression eating a sandwich. "Say... Neither of you would know why a blonde kid was sneaking around outside just a minute ago?" The bandaged male questioned. Of course he couldn't recognize Kono, the hair and the years in between had been too much of a change. Aiko in turn paled at the thought of Kono loose in a town she hardly knew and she doubted Makoto would have a better idea of what this town was like in just three months.
"Ksaa" "Relax Ai... He couldn't have gotten far."

Well... That was surprisingly easy. Say you're tired after such a long flight and jet lag and escape to a room. Then find a way to open the half rusted window with a spoon and out you go, free to do whatever you want. Don't ask where the spoon came from though he just happened to have it on hand when the window turned out to be stuck. It was also the best thing he could come up with when his plan seemed to backfire.Yet, he got out that's what mattered.
He was quite surprised with his own sense of planning here. He managed to convince his sister to come here and he managed to get what town his brother was actually in to invite... well... this is kind of touchy... Emily here. Yes, with his broken as heck English he had somehow miraculously gotten the girls phone number, without regrets he had sent expensive texts and then invited her to come to the local park. It had taken him three months -most of this whole cooked up idea surging in the last month- but he had still done it right?
But he still had to find the park -which he assumed was there because every town seemed to have one. The layout of this place did confuse him, but he got there... Far later than he had expected and any hope of the young insane girl still being there had sunken down into his shoes.

Meanwhile, Emily was having similar trouble trying to convince her big brother ‘Harold’ to let her out of his ‘rented house’ so that she could get to the same park Kono was lurking in. Skull; however, knew better than to let his sister anywhere out of his sight, and so after a big shout match with a very ‘responsible’ (when did that happen?) brother, Emily just huffed and went to the bathroom to slip out of the tiny window. Unfortunately she couldn’t do it with very much ease and so she did manage to get out…but she fell in a bush…and scratched her dress. While a tear was hardly something worth noticing to the average girl, Emily worried far too much on her clothes and debated going back in the window to get an emergency change outfit to throw out and change into later…but then realized that she was being completely ridiculous! Even if she had…more or less stopped searching for Pino because of a crush on the Asian k-pop band guy…it was all one sided, and so she had no reason to panic about what she was wearing to go see a pink-haired friend. ‘ My god! Stop panicking! He’s only in town a little while, visiting.’
Pretending to ignore the minor detail that she had to do a lot of begging and groveling to her parents and her brother to be able to stay in this nowhere town for a few weeks to try and visit her candy-loving friend, Emily was glad that she had her purse with her as she opened it to make sure that the cookies she made hadn’t busted in two from the fall. Seeing half a cookie in the little baggie she put them in and that cookie portion looked okay, Emily rushed from the backyard in as covert a way as she could to tip-toe away like Scooby doo. Wearing brown boots and a knee-high dress made sneaking around very unflattering; but, what could she do? Completely unaware that her brother was watching her with interest, his arms crossed over his chest, she was also unaware that he took a picture of her sneaking around looking like a fool to send to his brother Fang. Unaware of that photo being one of the factors that would send the man coming back to this little college town, Emily thought she had escaped free and clear and run off to the park when she realized taxi’s didn’t just magically appear in this town.
--------------------------------------------
Eventually getting there, though her feet ached like crazy by the time she found the park, Emily looked around every which way for a familiar pink head; but, her face contorted in pain when she didn’t see anyone with pink hair. Maybe her friend had gotten in trouble and couldn’t make it…or got lost…She didn’t want to think the worst; but, given his lack of understanding English, she couldn’t really ‘flat out ask him’ anything without running it through a translator first and hoping for the best. ‘ W-where is he?...’, she was at least twenty minutes late…but he would have waited wouldn’t he? After wanting to hang out for three whole months? ‘ Maybe he cancelled and I didn’t get a text…’, Emily mused, but she was far too disappointed to remain optimistic as she kept looking around and seeing a family of kids, another family grilling something a good way’s off, and some blonde boy on good distance away. Hurt at the idea of being forgotten, or worse, stood-up, Emily tried not to think about the stupid cookies she tried to make and sat down on a park bench with a glum expression on her face.

Aw gee... this was awfully shameful wasn't it? He was late, miss kittens got impatient and left and he couldn't blame her. He sighed deeply taking another dreary glance around the park before he'd skulk of back home. Those two happy looking family didn't quite help -and the barbecue looked tasteless- and the girl on the bench looked like every other white skinned no thin eyed girl he'd ever seen. Wait a minute... there wouldn't be two persons in the world with that big a purse would it? Good going Kono it's been only three months and you forgot what she looked like.
Oh now don't get clammy hand either! Please!
Kono cleared his throat for a moment, got the idea of sneaking up to her out of his head and then finally approached her seemingly relaxed. Well, if not for how he greeted her.
"Ohaio eehmira-chan" Wait that's too loose and personal. "Uh.. Konichiwa..." s**t still wrong language! She doesn't know that this is all Hi! "Oh... Err... hi." He finished scratching the back of his head. He invited her out here, but he brought nothing but a SPOON.
Maybe he can make up with one of those rehearsed lines he picked up from cheesy movies. "Long time.... uhm... no see." He added with a cheesy grin typical for him. Was that even right? Sure it was it couldn't be Chinese or something like that, ey?

“ Ohaio eehmira-chan!”, At first Emily thought she was imagining gibberish when she heard Kono speak, because her head was downcast towards her lap, looking at her purse. Wishing that she hadn’t wasted the time to walk here because now she just looked stupid waiting for some pink haired guy to wander up, she let out a little noise when she heard a little more gibberish and looked up with a gasp to see a very familiar Asian boy…with blonde hair. ‘ When did he dye his hair?...’, the ‘why’ being the larger question, Emily jumped up when Kono said hi, no longer listening to him try and ramble in English as she hobbled up from the bench and let her eyes embolden like an owl. Kono oddly enough looked very…nice…with blonde hair. He had looked kind of cutesy when he had pink hair, but the blonde? Well, he just looked more like a k-pop singer than he did before. But more importantly, he looked –nice- and she tried to ignore the subtle wonder of what made him decide to change his hair color.
“ Long time…. Uhm… no see.”, and one hundred percent certain that this was Kono, Emily just waddled up to the Asian boy and folded her arms around him in a bright, almost possessive, squeeze. She had missed him so much in the past three months, even if they had barely gotten a chance to spend time together, and now she felt overjoyed to see him.
“ Konoke!”, Emily squealed as she wiggled in the hug and pretended to ignore that it felt like his muscles were tensing from pain. He couldn’t help being a skinny boy, and she couldn’t help being in a very snuggly mood to see him. As childish as it was, Kono was her friend; right? Friends hugged…didn’t they? At any rate, Emily just kept holding him close with a happy face splashed about her face until she opened her eyes and started to fish in her purse for the stupid cookies…that had somehow been smashed a bit… ‘ Ah! These aren’t good enough –now-! He’ll think I suck at cooking!’, which may or may not have been true, since she hadn’t really baked before but she had followed the recipe regardless. That being another of Skull’s ‘sneak pictures’ since none of them really cooked.
“ Eeep! Tell me before you change your hair! I thought you weren’t coming!”, and realizing she spoke too many words too soon for him to probably understand, Emily shook her head in the shortened version and just pointed to his hair.
“ Uhm…nice.”, and smiling, Emily didn’t think twice before looking both ways and tugging on Kono’s hand to lead him to the playground. For some odd reason she felt in her stomach that they were being watched, or would be very soon, and so she hurriedly led Kono towards the jungle gym that wasn’t being played on right now and waddled up the stairs to try and hide with Kono in a playground tunnel. Feeling bad about her cookies, but knowing they weren’t crushed into a power yet, she felt inclined to give him something sweet and so she pulled out the baggie with an embarrassed flush to her face.
“ Yum?...”

Emily seemed to be confused with who he was at first and he started blaming his hair brained idea of changing his hair color. How could he expect to be recognized if he changed the one thing unique for him. He could only name one other person with pink hair and that guy was dead. No he probably looked like any other Asian to the picky, pushy girl that was Emily.
All that was true, until she walked up to him and hugged him. For a moment his eyes widened and he would've returned the favor if it hadn't been this squeezey and almost possessive. Maybe he had made a mistake coming here, but she seemed genuinely overjoyed. There was no language barrier that could hide that.
" Konoke!" Kono grinned goofily at the mispronunciation of his name, but he guessed he sounded just as silly when saying Emily to this American girl. Then she started digging in her purse making more than obviously clear that she had come more prepared than him. A spoon.... A goddamn spoon... Oh dear, such a shame. Then she said something too fast for him to gather what she was talking about, making him blink blankly for a few seconds.
“ Uhm…nice.” Kono scratched his head for a moment like a guilty suspect, but before he could say the ridiculous 'for you' that came to mind he was being dragged to a playground. "Nan... Ah .. what?" He uttered confused with her sudden reaction and dragging. Before he had much time, he was together with Emily in a tiny dark tunnel that couldn't do anything but bring little naughties to mind. He wasn't going to try again this soon... Not after bluntly kissing a hotel wall on his first attempt. That was enough of a message to say 'no'. Yet, here he was together again with a girl that had made him chase a guy he didn't know over half a hotel.
“ Yum?...” Kono blinked a few times as the cookies, that pretty much looked home made, before he reached out and decided to take one for a taste. The first bite was enough to get a happy smile on his face.
"Good." He mumbled in between bites and spontaneously because he missed her he reached out and gave Emily a proper hug in this tight tiny space. He was uncomfortably though that he had nothing to return for the cookies. Though maybe it could be appreciated if he gave her a spoon. With something of a goofy grin he stated. "Only... have." He pulled out the spoon. "This." He added pretty much offering the silverware to the girl.
"Escape..." He added, not sure how he had to say it was good to pry open a window to see a person you like.

“ Nan…Ah…what?”, Not paying any attention to that as she dragged Kono, Emily just would have sent him a playful little smile in her cute disposition and thought his mispronunciation was cute. However, as her focus was here in the present, she was anxiously watching his face to see if he liked her cookies…which even if they were bad, if he faked it she would have been happy. Seeing what looked to be a happy smile on his face, Emily’s face was stolen over with a bright red color and for a second she turned pink before glancing away at the inside of their outside ‘room’ to try and get a hold on her overwhelming emotions. Just sitting near Kono made butterflies swarm around in her stomach, and while she did her best to ignore them, that seemed to just make the sensations worse…
“ Good.”, Hearing Kono mumble in between the sounds of eating, Emily snuck a peek at him and hurriedly peeled her eyes away because her face turned pink at seeing his face and linking eye contact. ‘ Dear god! Get a grip Em! He’s a clueless boy! He won’t know you like him!’, and while she wasn’t sure she felt relieved at that thought, all her thinking disappeared when he reached out and gave her a hug in this little space. Gasping in shock from the intimacy of being held in here, her mind started jumping from hand-held to hug, from hug to kiss, and from kiss to more, and her heart starting racing like an overactive bee. Unable to look at his face because just the heat of his breathing made her whole body tingle rebelliously, Emily was forced to look at him when he spoke, and she looked at him only to see him holding a spoon.
“ This…”, Unsure what a spoon meant in his culture, the only thing she could think of was a scene from the movie ‘Jungle 2 Jungle’ where a tribal boy was giving a pot to a girl like giving flowers…and while this spoon certainly couldn’t compare with a cooking pot, Emily bit down on her lip and took it with a puzzled expression before glancing down at her feet and wondering if she should give it back or if he was trying to give it to her to keep. ‘ He seriously brought a spoon!? …Maybe I am crazy…Kono is silly sweet, but he doesn’t ‘like-me’ like me. ’, and feeling more hurt than she wanted to admit, Emily looked down a little and felt a bit silly…more than a bit silly, but then Kono mumbled ‘escape’ and she tried to figure out what that meant. Suddenly getting the spoon ‘joke’, Emily giggled her usual laugh and shook her head at Kono being so silly.
“ Oh-ho-ho, did you dig here from China? Haha, silly goof.”, and very much clueless about what he meant, and a bit depressed because she felt foolish for how she felt, Emily just gave him the courtesy of looking at the spoon before trying to hand it back and turning her head because she didn’t want Kono to see her face while she felt so sad.

Meanwhile~
Back at Casey’s house, Bella lay on the bed feeling particularly weak today, if only physically…as the emotions in her body seemed to be rampaging in every direction as the seconds passed and changed her fluttering moods. A moment ago, she had been angry and upset, and now the anger seemed to have mellowed out to simply feeling in a mild state of depression. While she couldn’t remember what had set her off, she thought it might have had something to do with a text that Skull had sent her a few hours before. Usually she always answered his texts when he sent them, because with Casey spending so much more time with Mato…she really didn’t have another alternative to talk to besides her kid brother Pino. Pino being a typical clueless boy, a woman could grow tired of hearing about skateboarding and video games when there seemed to be more important things on her mind.
At first…Bella had been happy that Casey had made a friend, even though her memory still burned at the thought of Mato and Casey kissing before they got back together…Bella didn’t want to be the person to assume things, and he had always seemed to loving and sweet when he got home…but ‘had’ was the word the key detail of that sentence…and while Casey was always sweet Casey…she felt more like she lived with a friend than a lover, and Skull honestly wasn’t doing very much to reassure her that all was well when he mentioned seeing Mato and Casey together. Perhaps he said those things because he was worried, as he had turned into a very supportive person since they did start to talk again…but now he was always asking her things and being too reassuring about everything being alright…and she couldn’t help but feel like he was waiting for everything to fall apart so that he could scoop her up. Sometimes she hated the idea, because she loved Casey and couldn’t forget what he did to her; but, then…Casey was acting very strange lately…always spending time with Mato instead of ‘some’ of the time –it seemed- and her heart was having trouble handling that because of the pregnancy hormones. Not wanting to let Casey know she was having a hard time, she put on a happy smile whenever he said they were going to hang out and looked for more ways to be supportive instead of argumentative and loud. ‘ I don’t care if you think I –should- tell him how I feel Skull, I don’t want to stress myself right now…’, worried more about the baby than her relationship…simply because she was doing everything to try and keep trusting Casey and so far had no reason to doubt him…however, Skull wasn’t making it easier when he texted:
To: Billy From: Skull Message: I love you Billy... Don’t shut me out too.
So now, feeling guilty that she was shutting Casey out because of her own worries and concerns…Bella reached over to grab her phone; but, she didn’t respond to Skull’s text because she couldn’t help feeling a twinge of doubt when Skull said he loved her. Ignoring that, and focusing only on the fact that Casey was her boyfriend and surely liked hearing from her, the brunette started to write a message…four times…deleting everything that she wanted to say and then starting to type out something very simple in the hopes of it having the best reaction.
To: Casey From: Bella Message: Hey Bumbles…Miss you.

While he was hoping for his 'explanation' to get through the girls skull, Kono stared at her with an almost odd kind of anticipation. She had taken the spoon, but did she get that he had nothing better on him right now? Then she started giggling and that was the first time he had actually hear her giggle. The little butterflies in his stomach all flew up together at the sound of the brunettes laughter. He did, however, chuckle at her response once his mind had deciphered it.
“ Oh-ho-ho, did you dig here from China? Haha, silly goof.” Kono was pretty sure he was blushing as her scratched the back of his head like he was guilty, even though a plane doesn't count as 'digging from China'. He was a little surprised that she handed it back so soon and just didn't... Well giggle about it more. He cleared he throat to announce that he was going to speak, when his eyes fell onto a familiar face beyond their confined space.
In an instant Kono started swearing under his breath and practically pushed Emily to get her out of the jungle gym. No giving her much of a choice he soon got the two of them out without much of an explanation other than hasty ramblings in Japanese the girl would understand anyhow. Once he got Emily out in the open he grabbed on to her hand and started dragging in the direction he thought best.
"No ask.... Follow" He finally got out in the middle of his run where he was dragging her along away from the park to a different place. Once Kono was convinced he had gotten the girl alone -in someones garden- and would be unfound for a little while longer he stopped and breathed in deeply to regain his breath.
"Family.... I eh... too soon..." He breathed in a few more times, giving the girl time to regain her breath as well. He looked around franticly, unwilling to have his while plan broken up this soon, before he gave a little smile and talked again.
"Emeeja-chan...." He started a little less breathless, but still jittery and looking around for any spy's or family or something else unwelcome. He fiddled a little with his hands before looking up at the girl again with a less confident smile, noting how he was still holding on to her hand.
"I... I..." He wrinkled his nose in thought, but as a loss for words he said. "Aishiteru." He stuttered on some more until his mental self slapped him. He grabbed hold of both her hands -he still remember being laughing stock for kissing a wall- and he just leaned in to give the girl a gentle long peck on her lips.
((someones garden.... hmm loads of room for improvisation. ))

Watching the facial expression that Kono made when she tried to hand back the spoon left Emily feeling apprehensive and nervous in her stomach. She wasn't entirely sure if the boy noticed her inward feelings, and equally undecided on whether or not she even wanted them to be plain across her face. At any rate, hiding the pain she felt was easier than yelling, and for once she liked someone too much to make a scene or yell in any way. However, at hearing some sort of whisper under Kono's breath, Emily turned to try and see what he was staring at and her eyes widened in a pale sort of horror. Not recognizing Kono's sister because of the distance and time away from seeing the woman, at first Emily felt an unnatural claw of jealousy squeeze her stomach and she was quite ready to scoot out of the tunnel because Kono kept rambling things she couldn't possibly understand. ' Oh...so -thats- why we're in this dinky little tunnel. God if we're just friends fine! But don't sneak ar-', Emily's mental rant ended the second her mental recognition picked up the woman's face. Easily swooped away at that point, Emily just nodded to Kono and tried to ignore the discoloration to her face at being escorted by the asian male via hand-holding. Confused at being in a random person's little garden, not that she would wish to complain at this point, Emily tried to make sense of his words but at the moment she was hunched over to catch her breath from running in the last instance. Numb from the exercise, Emily's fingers felt like they were fingling from touching something that vibrated and it wasn't until she looked at her hand that she realized Kono was still holding it. Blushing profusely, as any teenage girl would do, Emily wasn't entirely sure if she had to move her hand away or let Kono hold it...all she knew was that she didn't want him to let it go, and in suspence the brunette froze like a statue.
" I...I...", ' Yes?', Emily's eyes seemed to widen as hope fluttered up inside her chest like a cheerful dove.
" Aishiteru.", within seconds her face sank in confusion. " uh Wuh? -I s**t tear ooo-? What does-...", Emily was just rambling thoughts in her head to try and understand Kono's limited speech when she felt both her hands be held and in responce Emily's lungs stopped breathing. ' Ohmigods whats happening?', Emily felt her eyes well up like an owl when she saw Kono start to lean in, and perhaps in the belief that Kono didn't like her Emily began to tilt backwards to avoid an uncomfortable face palm. However, after about two inches of scooting backwards Emily found herself incapable of moving any more away from him and her entire face burned like a blow torch being turned on inches from her face. Breathless and stunned at the way Kono's mouth pressed over her own, Emily at first widened her eyes more (if that was possible) before she closed them in trying to make the 'moment' more surreal. So stunned that she didn't add any exertion to the intimacy of the moment, when and if Kono pulled away Emily would have leaned forward to peck the boy again. if possible, with more pressure than the gentleness being displayed beforehand. Leaning back with a red cheshire face, Emily was at a loss for words and so she did her best to repeat what Kono said in the belief that perhaps what he mumbled meant an 'I love you' or 'I like you' or something of the sort.
" 'I-shiht-ear-ooou'...", Emily mumbled; feeling more stupid by the moment. " A lot..."
