Emma stood up and slowly began to go through the motions of the scythe, something to relax the muscles she'd been using, a stretch. "Then I'll be the first to prove this island is worth something...I guess that's something I can fight for." Emma said as she made sure to remember this fight wasn't over, she needed to get in as much of this quick work as possible. She preferred it this way anyway, they spoke through battle and the fight turned more interesting every second Emma was in it, she loved the feeling.

Emma stopped for a moment and glanced over at Vulcan, a certain look crossed her face, but it vanished in a second. "You look..." She shook her head, this wasn't the time for something like that. If she planned on complimenting him then she could do it later. He had a speed fighter's body, lean and small to the point of not being held down by excess muscle, big enough to intimidate other combatants, and he hit hard too, that impressed Emma in more than a few ways. She held her scythe out toward him and braced herself. "Are you prepared to continue?" She asked, she still refused to attack since she didn't know if he was ready to go on or not. She knew it might be her downfall one day, being nice to an opponent, but it was who she used to be.

Emma had the first move this time and swung with as much force as she could muster, it wasn't a pretty or graceful strike like when she fought with her hands, but it got the job done. Another blow aimed at cleaving Vulcan's head from his body at the neck, the increased speed due to the increased force she put behind the attack should do extra damage if he blocked. Another reason it should have done extra damage was all too clear in her calm face. As soon as a smile touched her features it was clear she'd used a technique, one that decreased Vulcan's chances of getting away from her. A wave of ki was released from her scythe which covered a good distance for close ranged battles.

Description: The user gathers ki in to their scythe and swings it, even if an enemy isn't nearby the scythe will fire off a line of ki that can cut just as well as the scythe itself. The result will be obvious if aimed at close-range, the force will be increased.

Emma sheathed her scythe in it's holder before he closed the range and saw that whenever his body flashed it meant he was using something she knew nothing about. "Twenty four inches..." Emma said to herself, remembering that she could hit him in the face and most likely break his nose from a distance. Emma saw what he was doing and let his attack carry forward first before striking so she'd go past his guard if she got lucky. She moved forward and preformed a half dodge, letting him cut in to her shoulder with an impassive face, it twitched slightly since she kind of felt that one, that meant she had to be more careful. She struck forward with her fist and stopped pretty early, a ball of ki in front of her hand was the damage dealer here, if it hit him in the face it'd do good damage, but if she hit him directly in the nose she expected to break it. This was a good sneak attack due to the amazing distance it covered since she didn't have to make contact with Vulcan in the first place. Her other arm was in a position to counter if he retaliated.

Emma's battle stance wasn't affected when the blows landed, but this was the second sustained hit, she couldn't not feel pain anymore after this. Thus she changed to an extremely defensive stance, still willing to battle however. She was confused as to why he avoided hitting spots that'd do more damage, either way she continued to fight. Emma took her boxing stance and took a single step backwards with one foot before swinging her fist backwards, then forward again quickly. With all of the might in her body she swung at Vulcan's chin, planning on sending him soaring through the air with everything she had in her. "Fly!" She exclaimed during the swing, she didn't expect this to do damage, only to throw him off guard when he landed on the sand since it was soft. If her uppercut hit anywhere else but his face she was quickly prepared to throw a hook to add in to the strike and keep him unfocused.

Description: A powerful uppercut. The skill itself may look simple, but it has enough force to stagger all but the strongest foes. If this skill connects with the enemy's chin, it sends them flying with the force of a C-Rank attack, but it's doubtful anybody will let themself get hit in the chin that easily.

"I can't really tell you...the feeling is dull..." Emma guessed she only broke two from putting her all in to that strike, it might have been three, but she didn't know. Emma felt her hand and decided there were indeed some breaks and fractures. She switched between orthodox and southpaw normally to make sure she kept up a good enough guard. "Come on, we'll fight our hardest..." Emma said, she was dancing around a little bit to keep up her movements. From now own she'd have to punch from a distance, not make contact.

Emma had zero chance of closing distance while he was thrusting forward like that, so with a quick step to the side she avoided two attacks aimed directly toward her, easy. She took another quick step forward to the point where one of her legs crossed his from the front, this was to ensure he moved backwards since moving ahead was out of the question. She struck once more with her punch that spanned a distance, it would have to suffice since she broke a couple of fingers. The reason she was closing the distance until it was nothing unlike her normal retreat strategy was because she wasn't using her favorite weapon, when she fought with her hands she intersected with her target often. Her strike was aimed at his stomach, since she was close like this she doubted he'd look down to she what area she aimed at and block it, but it didn't really matter. She would have aimed for his ribs if it weren't for how dense his bones were.
