Quote: At Malodore's extended hand (from gesturing at it), the Forever Alone Nautical flailed happily before leaping and attaching itself to the cloth of his robe; it had taken that as an invitation to 'hop on'. There were still tears (at least they look like tears) streaming out of its sad eyes as the pair continued down the path. Thankfully, it was blissfully oblivious to what they had in mind for it. Now I can see the lightttt and it's like the fog has lifteddddd.More specifically, they can now see the light, several students as well as a table holding cups and bowls of not-so-hot-now chocolate and towels. Malcolm was seated at the side, on a chair; while he did smile at Riley and Malodore as they approached, he was also distracted with staring at the Forever Alone Nautical clinging onto the Plague Doctor. "... Ah yes, well done," He shifted his attention from the Nautical to the two students, nodding at them before gesturing at the items on the table, "Go ahead and take one... Rest up. I believe we have a few more pairs to wait for." Meanwhile, the Forever Alone Nautical was looking around with shining eyes; so many new friends! There's the two who sung to it, the ghoul who recited a poem to it... And... And the two ghouls who fed it a yummy FEAR Candy! Immediately, it released Malodore and started running, flailing its tiny tentacles at Junko and Siddie. To all the minipets present, they can hear it happily cheering away as it ran. Quote: BROMANCE.And so the two went, singing - uh, whining? - and humming as they galloped through the fog, cutting through it a scene straight out of a certain game where a unicorn is made to chase its dreams while a high-on-crack song plays in the background. In no time at all, they emerged from the fog after Riley and Malodore, victorious and having overcame their uncertainty of the fog... With song and bromance. "Seems like the natural form came in handy after all," Malcolm stroked his chin before nodding, offering both boils a small smile before gesturing to the table beside him; there were cups and bowls of hot chocolate on it, as well as a stack of towels. He then frowned, looked at Christof, and then back at the cups, and then back at Christof again. "Be righttt back," The professor muttered before raising from his chair and walking to the side of the classroom. When he returned, he had a syringe in hand; putting it down on the table, he took his seat again before raising an eye brow, "For if you need it... Mmm, Christof, yes? Well, feel free to take a cup and bowl for yourself and your minipet, if they can take it." Secretly, he took that syringe from one of the many first aid kits in the room. Dist: 122 out of 150

Dragain Manda (( Minipet HP: 16-7 = 9 )) Quote: Aksaja and his Minipet's attacks seemed to work more than Castor's did, and eventually, the tentacles wrapped around Israfel loosened enough for him to wiggle free (despite being tickled). However, it did not appreciate being bitten... Not at all.It grabbed Israfel again while another tentacle from the pit grabbed Aksaja. Spinning them round and round like a record baby, it then tossed the two forward. At least it gained them some distance? Enemy HP: KO'ED Damage to Aksaja's Minipet: NA Damage to Israfel's Minipet: NA *Remember to quote this post!* Dist: 20 out of 150 <- ROLL 1 100-SIDED DICE TO CONTINUE; BECAUSE THE TENTACLE DECIDED TO TOSS YOU GUYS FORWARD, THERE WILL BE A +50 TO THE DIST TRAVELED. Israfel was happy for a few seconds as he was free and not dead. Then another tentacle grabbed him. And spun him. At first he was screaming something, and Castor was busy clinging to the top of his head like a cat. Once thrown however? YES! It was the boost he needed, small wings flapping as hard as they could to keep him aloft and moving. Castor was just kind of clinging to his earwings like a terrified pilot.

He was very tempted to just stop and start backpedaling due to nerves, but the kick to his side told him to keep going. Christof's nervousness wasn't helping matters as he could sense as well, but they had both been in the same cornfield when the fog had tortured them.
Just as the memories of such a time started to creep into his mind's eye, the fog broke and showed the teacher once more, reminding him they were back and safe at Amityville. Breathing out, he pressed on, wanting to finish this class even more than before. He was flat out exhausted!

The fog was thick enough for them to be unable to see the finish line they were sure was just ahead, according to the map. However, it is unwise to remain stationary, especially given the circumstances, and the two students made the choice to keep pushing forward. Apart from there... Nothing was stirring in the fog. There was a Nautical making a beeline for them, flailing its tentacles. It looked almost familiar ... certainly it couldn't be the one that had attacked them? How had it gotten here?? "Let's get out of this stuff," he muttered then, and just . . . powered ahead, hoping that they were still going in the right direction.

Also, he'd yet to be really attacked by tentacles in him mind. They had just tickled him. Why people always thought they were bad or they raped things Israfel never understood. Tentacles were nice in general. Sure, one or two might be mean, but for the majority they were all very nice. Unless you were a zombie squid, in which case he'd make a frowning face. :C Frowning face so hard. The scareon hat was more or less still acting like a clinging attack hat. Tail curling and puffed out.

"Yeah. Ugh," West said, dropping to a seat on the ground. The ground. It was beautiful. He didn't think he was ever going to leave it again. But, wait. Looking down, he gently peeled Master away from her nest between his arm and chest. He set her on the floor.
"Wait'ere," he told the scareon, even though it didn't look like she was going anywhere at all any time soon. He climbed to his feet and slowly made his way over to the table, nabbing a cup of hot chocolate and a bunch of towels before returning to Master. He tossed a towel to Jericho without comment and placed the cup in front of his pet. When she didn't move, he propped her front half on a towel and gave her an awkward pat between the ears when she began to lap at the liquid.
He scratched at one of his new tentacle hickeys. Great. He still had some of the souvenirs left over from the last time he was attacked by a squid... thing, and now there were more.

Dragain Quote: The Nautical finally gave up, letting go of Sin's Minipet before dropping to the ground, its tentacles twitching ever so slightly as it dove into the water with a 'splash'. Just as Sin and Alycone thought that their worries were over, a giant purple tentacle rose from the water and grabbed both girls and Minipets, crushing them together for some literal 'bonding' time. While the tentacle did not use a lot of force, the fact that they were crushed together did hurt quite a bit. The tentacle then dragged both ghouls and their Minipets through the water; thankfully, the top halves of their bodies were held above the water and Sin wouldn't have to worry about being unable to breathe. The cool water splashing on their faces was rather enjoyable, if they disregarded the whole 'kidnapped by tentacles' part... ... Too bad that part is rather difficult to just disregard. *Remember to quote this post!* Dist: 65 out of 150 <- You get a +50 distance bonus on top of me using the higher value on the next roll, but remember to ICly respond to the above and roll 1 100-sided dice! "Good riddance!" Shaking a fist angrily at the retreating tentacle, Alcyone thought that was a lot more difficult then it should have been. Those nauticals didn't look that tough... "
"Is Pantaloon's alright Sin?" Immediately after she asked the question, the entire group was swooped away into the water. "Nooooo!" Her hands shot out trying to grab something but all she came up with was some grass. Then she realized that they were being dragged through the water and her natural instincts began to kick in. Kicking her legs and putting her arms through the water trying to create drag, Alcyone could only see the tentacles that were abducting them but it didn't seem like it was going to let go anytime soon. Though, she realized that if the tentacles were to let go at any time, they would be sitting ducks. She knew that Sin wasn't the best swimmer and Eri wasn't a swimmer at all. That would be more trouble than getting abducted... Eri felt a wave of relief as the nautical released Pantaloons and bounded over to the other minipet nudging it curiously to make sure that they were alright. He didn't even see the tentacles coming. In one second everybody was being dragged through the water. He was starting to feel rather angry about this class; it was endangering his life!

After a little longer of just laying there, Jericho rolled over and finally got up to his feet and looked to the side to see Flamethrower slowly making his way over. The cat looked pretty worn down from that whole ordeal. Letting out a sigh, he suddenly found a towel in his face.
Grabbing it, he went over to grab a cup of hot chocolate as well to offer to his own mini. The fire breathing cat took little to no time at all to start drinking up the sweet stuff.
He looked to West, noting the marks given by the tentacle beast. No doubt the dragon had those all over as well. Great.
With a sigh, he looked back towards the abyss, seeing that Israfel was doing rather well with the flight.
"Keep it up Isra!" he called out to the Siren, feeling fairly proud that Birdbrain hadn't dropped into the pit at all.

Aoi was feeling better now that he was resting, having fallen asleep quite a bit ago since it was taking everyone so long to finish this course. Meanwhile Junko sat and chatted with those around her, sipping hot cocoa and making sure Aoi was sleeping alright. She also looked up when she heard more students approaching, gasping quietly when she saw the very nautical from before. It...it looked so happy! As Siddie shrieked Junko put her cup aside and stood slightly, bending at her knees and holding her arms out for the saddest but happiest little nautical EVER. "Aren't you ADORABLE! C'mere, cutie!" She called out to the happily flailing nautical coming straight for them, a huge smile on her face unlike the protective ghoul beside her.

However, they did finally manage to walk out of the fog and were instantly greeted by the majority of the students, sitting on the floor around a table holding cups and bowls (for students and minipets respectively) of no-longer-as-hot chocolate and a stack of towels. Beside this table was Malcolm, who was seated on a chair. "Good job on finishing the course... Go ahead and take a cup and bowl for yourself and your minipet," He gestured at the table before eying the Sloth Demon briefly, remembering him from his previous class, where he had caused a fire from cooking... It was an effort for the plague doctor not to flail the Nautical right off its arm - euuugh. But the thing was hanging on. Malodore held that arm as far away from its body (and from Parassiti) as it possibly could, and inched after Riley.... until at last the fog cleared to reveal the other students and Malcolm.
Malodore couldn't help but be relieved as the Nautical let go and zipped away; it shook its arm out, afterwards, rolling its shoulders as it approached the the table. It scooped up a cup of hot chocolate in its free hand and downed it in one gulp.
Well. That was odd. It wasn't entirely sure what it had gained from it, but... well, Parassiti hadn't let it hold it so quietly and calmly since they'd come to Amityville. It looked down at the scrags, who was now totally asleep.
Apparently half-killing your minipet was a good way to bond with it...?
