The trip was jarring, and at the end of it was only another dimensional portal. Luckily for Bast, the layers of ice around her were thick, so she couldn't very well tighten up much more. She simply rode the mess out until she felt a return of normal background energies, and then relaxed slightly.
Slightly before slipping through the portal, Anima created a hole in the ice, poked Bast, and then closed the hole. Thereafter, she jumped through with the woman and popped out on the other side as if nothing had happened. Bast continued to float nearby, and the lady seemed rather unaffected by the events, even while she knocked away the Kunai.

Howaido decided the best way to deal with his anbu friend was a subtlety, he formed the seals for Kuchiyose and summoned a large toad. As the bound Ganchou zombified further Howaido ordered this common toad to contain the shinobi within his mouth till their trip ended. The toads tongue constricted around ganchou as he was taken into the dark, pink, fleshy environment that was the toads mouth. Howaido look back at San and nodded,"I think its time we go home for now, at least to notify Mamorou-sama."

San nodded to his buddy Howaido and quickly spoke a thank you. Addressing the team, and nodding to Bast sensei, the ANBU issued a team egress back to Suna. They needed to report and investigate the gathered intel.
"Team, we move out! On our way back to home, good old Suna. Stay vigilant during travel, despite the calm we seem to have gathered. Good job and good teamwork everyone. I am thankful to have had you all along with me. Your talents were all rather useful. Lets head out."
San then bowed to turret, and spoke to him as best he could, trying to apologize for his actions on their first encounter.
"Thank you for your help turret. I am deeply sorry for any pain i may have caused you village and you kind. Please accept my humble apology. You are a great friend to me now, and i assure you i will work my best to make sure Suna aids your village in the future. You have my word...."
Then forming a few Hand seals, San sent out a change clone to go tell the refugees and Anubis guard that their city should be safe once more, and if their were any other problems that Suna would be there to help once more. With all that buisness taken care of, San lead the victorious team home....

Ganchou was shortly immobilized, locked, sealed, and wrapped up in a pink fleshy bow before being pulled into the frog's mouth. He quietly faded into unconsciousness, starting to lose his grip on everything. His eyes closed and his breathing began to slow...

the cloud rose from the ground and shook then reformed into Lucas. he looked around at the group and sighed a little.
"well... least it's over. for now."
then as it seemed the group was heading out so he dispersed himself and flew through the air in a gas state back to suna.

[No, no, my friends are graduating so I am celebrating, but Im not graduating till next year, lol. Im in the band, we have to play at graduation.]
Howaido gave a short salute to everyone including his Jofuku father, the man smiled. "You made me proud, Howaido-kun." He then stepped aside with the turret. Climbing on top of his toad as Ganchou settled in peacefully he followed behind San, heading home at last.

The job done, each Jofuku person turned a soft yellow as they began to disintegrate. In unison they each picked up an arm & waved goodbye, happy that they had their long sought freedom at last. With the wind becoming slow & steady, the particles of pollen floated away in the wind, off to find their own unique destination.

Bast felt an odd shift and shuddered as the ice suddenly cracked and fell off of her. She hit the round with a hard thud, and then unfurled and stood up. She looked over and saw Anima fading, and rushed to embrace her old friend. The moment was brief, and the woman quickly exited the building afterward. She left the old capitol completely soon thereafter and returned to the Village.
Anima blinked as she felt her form degrading. She clapped her hands and the ice surrounding Bast split and fell away. She hugged her comrade quickly and blew away on the wind, poking the other one last time. She unloaded her entire knowledge bank in to Bast, but set it so that she would only receive it once she was back in the Village and asleep.

Manfread had stashed the Iron-Based Metal Matrix Composite, in a secret location a little ways out side the city. Someone had forgotten to tell him about the black market guards who controlled the city, and getting everything in was going to be a problem. Although Manfread was able to find a small hole in the wall with his byakugan, a hole no one knew about that was big enough for him to squeeze into, and he was able to find the facility where the Flash Bainite was refined easily enough. If it weren't for the letter of introduction he had received from the secretary Manfread would have been screwed. The Smiths, a bunch of Iron hard psychopathic looking men, were able to help him get the materials past the gates and into the refinery. They told him that he would need to help shaping the blade, and this would also make it easier to use the large sword when it was complete. After a few days of almost nonstop work the sword was finally complete, and it looked magnificent. Manfread had the Master Smith attach the 'ornamental' skull to the base of the blade and top of the handle. He thanked the smiths, and they told him to come back if it ever broke so they could fix it for him. Manfread left the city and headed home, to Suna.  ,  ,

Speaking in the english that she knew, "I have come to ask the great guards of Rouran if a runaway has been seen here recently." At this, the Southern Gate Guard Captain came out from a tent, the only one capable of speaking in English.
Captain: "Welcome, Desert Fox! We have had no visitors as of late."
Six (Siniku): "None? This makes me glad."
Captain: "How so, great Jashin slayer of Suna?"
Six (Siniku): "Our runaway was one of the great Jashin slayers that helped us turn the tide of the war."
Captain: "That is most regretable, Desert Fox. We would hope that our saviors were safe from such actions."
Six (Siniku): "Your concerns are acknowledged. We, too, would prefer not to hunt our own." Turning about, Six's Henge of Siniku waved goodbye to the great old capitol, & headed towards the nearest dune. Once over it, she dropped the jutsu & headed for the Red Sands.

San smiled. The city felt alive, instead of the death that it was when he was last here. Turning his attention to James for a moment, the ninja motioned with his head a path they should take. A Change clone would appear from him in the version of a mole, going into the ground to go for the ruins and underground caslte that had not been explored in some time.
"Well james, lets go find the Queen. We need to check and make sure all is good right?"

I'm VOID So Have pretty heavy security clearance. So can I ask what the hell happened to Ganchou. He has been gone over a year and we never had a burial. and nodady ever came back with news or a body." And is Kage planning an expansion. I feel like Howaido is going on a big scout mission.(italics represent bonds golem)
