Lock didn't wait for a reply, his bossy self wandering to the little kitchenette to find something for them to drink.

He wasn't sure whether he wanted this romantic evening now! Nevertheless, the brunette went to the rack and set his coat on there then sat down on the couch facing the fireplace. He was just doing this because he was tired of standing, is all.

" I wanted to apologize for my brother inviting himself for the holidays and making it so that we can't have that much time together, being a couple. It was wrong of me to allow it to get as far as it has, and you need to know that I'm not ashamed of being with you. I thought this might be a good way for me to show how sorry I am." Had Ethan opened the box, he would've found it was entirely filled with smaller boxes that had "Terry's Chocolate Oranges" written on them.

๑۩۞۩๑๑۩ﺴ Some shadows have more depth. ﺴ۩๑ Arms crossed defiantly, Ethan was ready to give Lock the angriest huff he could muster in the past five seconds when he saw the late Christmas gift in his arms. Why'd he have another? The bracelet was already more than enough. ... But it wasn't like he'd deny it. It was already here, anyway! He curiously edged towards the box and, after a hesitant moment, reached out and started opening it up. It was kinda big. What could it be? " Oh God." Ethan gasped and quickly covered his mouth when he saw the glorious sight. Chocolate oranges everywhere! There were so many, and with such a variety! Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, even the legendary white chocolate! " Thank you so much." Ethan cried, tears overflowing from his sparkling blue eyes. He was way more tearful about this than when he was given the engagement ring.

" You're welcome, Ethan," he replied, taking the box and moving it to the floor. He scooted closer, reaching out to cup one of Ethan's cheeks. " I love you, even if I sometimes don't act like it."

You looked for your brother, too, and we couldn't find him anywhere. And with all these chocolate oranges you've more than made it up to me." he practically drooled as he picked one up, gazing at it as if it were a rare jewel. " Have you ever had one? It's amazing. It's like, it's just so good. Here, try a piece." He took off one piece of the chocolate citrus and handed it to Lock, eyes sparkling with excitement.

Eating the rest of the piece, he smiled and nodded. " I see why you like them so much. This is pretty tasty." He then stood, starting for the kitchen. " I'm going to get some water. You want something to drink? I'm pretty sure I saw orange juice in there." Awesome nerd I've never had one either.

" I don't want to overdo it the orange thing again, y'know?" Mayah Playah Neither have I. I have two at my apartment just for the occasion.

One had peppermint tea, for him, and the other was caramel hot chocolate with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the top covered in melted caramel. He set down his mug of tea, handing Ethan his mug of hot chocolate before sitting down and crossing his legs. He was tired, yeah, but willing to wait up and spend time with Ethan. " You're way too cute, you know that?" he chuckled, leaning back.

Normally Ethan would have devoured ten oranges by now, but something this rare and rich needed to be savored! He turned his head when he saw the blonde and smiled when he saw the hot chocolate, impressed with the culinary art. " Wow, you really went all out." he praised and took the glass. Ice cream and hot chocolate?! He'd never heard of it! How was it not melting?! The Texan happily drank the delicious concoction when he heard Lock's comment, making him look at him abruptly. " I keep telling you, I'm not cute, dammit!" he yelled despite the chocolate/ice cream mustache sported on his face.

" This is a really romantic (and expensive) spot, so it'd be kind of a waste to do any of those." He looked at Lock. " Wanna have sex?" he asked bluntly with a lighthearted shrug.
