"You are, Chi-Chi. It's just his way is kinda obey everything he says and if you mess up in the slightest, you get punished for it," Nana responded sitting at the table.
"He'll blame you two for anything due to the fact that you're new to the house thus he considers you both as something that will turn Kaitou on us," Mimi said casually as she sat down next to Nana, albeit she was frowning at Kaitou's empty seat.

"Yay" Chi-chi says. She always hated getting on the bad side of people. Chi-chi and Kana both sat down. "Well I guess it makes sense why he would do that." Kana replied thinking about the letter she wrote in her spare time. "Can I ask you guys for a favor?" Kana asked both Mimi and Nana. She took her first bite of her food, Chi-chi started to eat as well.

"Ask away," Nana smiled taking a bite of a brisket that was in front of her.
"It's alright to ask us. Were ten times kinder than Rath," Mimi chuckled softly as she brushed her silvery-white hair out of her face.

"That's for sure." Kana said with a smile. Chi-chi nodded in agreement. "Well..I was wondering if I could send a letter to my mom..Well Chi-chi and my mom. Just saying that were okay and tell her the truth about her current husband, our step father. It won't have a return address on it nor my mom won't be able to find us because well for one I don't know the address nor the name of this town." Kana said, she was going to say other reasons but she didn't want to upset Chi-chi too much. "She's not the reason we became slaves, in fact she thinks were in boarding school." Kana explained. Chi-chi was trying to forget the memories of her step father, while she was eating. Her step father was worse than Rath. At least Rath cared for Mimi, Nana, and Kaito. Chi-chi and Kana's step father cared for no one but himself.

"Not happening," Rath growled sitting down in Kaitou's chair, flecks of blood splattered on his face, arms and clothes.
"Sheogorath Rath Roiben Rye! You didn't," Mimi and Nana hissed in unison.
"I did. He's lost sight of his place in this household as have you two. Learn your places and I won't end up without a family," Rath snarled before taking a bite out of the food he'd piled up onto his plate. Nana stood up from the table, brushing her hair out of her face before readjusting her glasses. "Be prepared to get pissed off at me then, brother. I'm going to go visit Kaitou. I'm gonna go see how bad you've injured him." She turned on her heel and heading upstairs. Rath simply shook his head as he continued to eat.

Chi-chi looked at Rath, she was getting scared of him by the minute. He was starting to remind her of her step father. Kana couldn't believe the blood on Rath's clothes but she didn't want to get him even more pissed by defending Kaito. Kana frowned slightly, it was a touchy subject for her. She always wanted to get that man out of her mother's life. After that was taken care of her past would be behind her and it would be layed to rest. "C'mon please.." Kana pleaded in a softer tone then usual. She had a feeling this would happen when she asked but the most she could do is try. "I just..Look this means a lot to me and I know you probably can't stand me but if you let me do this, I won't act out once or argue with you. I'll completely obey you and I'll stop Kaito from acting out again..That is if you want me too, since you don't trust me nor do I blame you." Kana said surprised she would ever have to beg Rath for something. She looked at Chi-chi knowing she was scared, she frowned even more. "It's okay Chi." She said loud enough only Chi-chi could hear. Kana knew Chi-chi wanted to say something so when they made eye contact, Kana puts her finger on her lip, so Chi-chi doesn't say anything. Chi-chi kept eating her food, looking at the table, She was afraid of making eye contact with Rath. Kana hoped Rath wouldn't take out his bad mood on them. Though she knew Kaito got the worst of it and she felt part of it was her fault. Kana kept eating, she glanced at Mimi then let her eyes wonder around the room.

"Not happening," Rath repeated glancing at Chi-Chi. "Speak, little one. I'll take no offense."
"I'll send it, Kana," Mimi murmured sticking her tongue out at Rath.
Rath glanced at the ceiling and gave a wry grin at it. "I wonder how mad she'll be this time..."

"Okay.." Kana said, glancing at Chi-chi. Chi-chi looked at Rath, not sure what to say. The site of blood scared her. She couldn't comprehend why someone would beat someone so bad, just for acting out. Her mom never hit her. "After lunch can you please clean off the blood. I can't stand the site of blood." Chi-chi explained. "Really?" Kana said surprised. "Thank you." She said with a small smile, continuing to eat her food.

A shriek was heard from upstairs and Rath started laughing as he stood up from the table. "I'll clean up before finishing dinner. I didn't think it'd make her shriek."

Chi-chi smiled as well. Kana kept eating but stopped when she heard Nana scream. She wanted to ask something but she knew Chi-chi would probably ask and she did. "Why is Nana screaming? Is everything okay? Oh okay thank you Rath." She said with a smile but getting a bit concerned about Kaito and Nana.

Dantes_river Rath had already left the room, leaving Mimi to answer the question. "She only does that if his injuries are really bad," she mumbled picking at her fried broccoli (the kind you can get for an appetizer with calamari at Red Lobster).

((I love calamari!)) Kana frowned, Chi-chi looked scared. "Is Kaito going to die from his wounds.." She asked wanting to cry. "No Chi-chi, Kaito isn't going to die right Mimi?" Kana asked. She didn't know what Rath was capable of but she doubted he would kill Kaito. "Mimi can you please give Kaito this." Chi-chi asked handing Mimi a small phoenix stuff animal. "I won it at the fair. Here big sister." Chi-chi said in a sweet voice giving Kana a orange kitty stuff animal. Kana took the orange kitty, "Aww, You didn't have to get me anything Chi-chi." Kana said smiling.She hugged Chi-chi.

"Of course not. Rath sees him as a valuable asset to our job so he won't kill him," Mimi responded with a quick nod as she grabbed the little Phoenix that Chi-Chi wanted to give him. Nana came back into the dining room, her expression a kind of calm that would scare people. She sat down and began eating again without a word as Rath entered wearing a new set of pants and without a shirt on. There was no trace of blood on his dark tan skin marred by a few paler scars.
"Did Mimi and Nana ever tell you about our parents?" he asked casually as he began eating a plate of calamari, fried broccoli and peppers.

Kana nodded and eating some calamari and papers. "What does asset mean?" Chi-chi asked. Chi-chi looked at Rath as he walk in and smiled. "Thank you for getting changed." Chi-chi said happily. "Is Kaito okay, Nana?" She asked keeping her happy tone. "The food is really good!" Chi-chi said trying a piece of calamari. "Especially the Calamari." Kana said with a smile. Chi-chi shook her head to Rath's question. "No they have not." Kana answered Rath in a nice tone, not trying to start another argument. "What were they like?" Chi-chi asked curiously.

"A member, Chi-Chi and yes. He should be fine," Nana answered with a forced smile as Mimi bit her lip.
"Our mother and father ran the business we control nowadays. When Nadoru and Michelle were four and a half and I was almost eleven, our mother passed away. Mimi takes after her in every way. Half a year later, our father left us on the twins' birthday... I had been taught everything I know from him before he left. Nana and me take on his features and some of his personality... He gave me the job of taking care of those two and a business that was difficult for me at the time. When I turned seventeen, a private investigator I had hired to find him to help deal with this job told me he'd remarried to a woman with two girls... Our father is your step-father," Rath said softly as he stared at the glass in his hands which was now cracking in his hand. "I let my sisters get you because I'd learned of how he treated you..." The glass broke, shards of glass cutting his hand, arm and cheek up.
