Xadiara Koichi Yea I am mostly the same. My friend that sometimes lives with me will be like "OMG THIS IS AMAZING" And i'll say "EWWW" and she doesn't get it xD Ohh i know right? happens to me too pretty often. and then u get answer somethign like "shut up and don't whine over nothing" x'D "noo,why can't u see how it sucks..?? " 8'DD And afterwards u get the feeling that it looked like were just pleading for compliments.. u__ u Lucky for me she usually has good eyes and will notice what I notice. Though with some of my art she REALLY loves it even though I'm all "Ew" lol. I drew this dude for someone as a commission once and I really disliked it after I colored it, but she was all "Thats like my perfect idea of a man" haha... I thought it looked horrible ;_;

Usually the artist him/herself is much more critical of the work than the one who gets or just looks it. Omg i read ur comment wrong..! xDD But i'm too lazy to write everything again..! Xadiara~ ty! i like the hair, but for some reason i guess now i don't thing the rest of her has enough detail! > . <;; i love your picture, too. nice colors, and you don't leave out details, either. x 3 <3 If u feel like it u can always add more details afterwards to make the work more balanced as a whole .) And thx for ur nice words! Details are my life lol i may have to! it's just hard to get motivated to draw sometimes. i get very self-concious and think 'o i won't do anything worth while... what's the point?' i need to break that dirty habbit. : / I know what u mean. I've been feeling awfully the same way lately too! >.< When u draw more u also start notice ur development (or the lack of it) better than u did before, and u also see more what's missing in ur works but u simply can't fix those even thought i tried hard! D: We sure need to get rid of it, since it's useless to think like it and simply practice more. And not get frustrated if everything doesn't go immediately as u wished to. .) aww gee. you're right. x 3 it feels a little better knowing i'm not the onlly one and realizing IT'LL PASS and i'll draw without all that dilly dally sooner or later. >w>

But it's also that avis in gaia are very chibi/cute/manga-styled so ppl probably want the art resemble their characters? But it's true that many draw in here with that style (i don't see any bad in it thought) but also in my case my style also can be called manga-like, but it's not really that cutest form of it heh. Looks like we're turning this thread into chatterbox :'DD
