By the time Tsetsiliya had finally started up the steep Icy Path, her group had already gotten a good head start on her. She shivered only a little, but moreso over not liking being alone on this path one bit, but it was her own fault. If she were not so negligent and let her attention wander like that!

Giving her arms a fierce rub, she pushed through the snow with the best of her might. Cold was something she was used to from home, but this kind of cold was very lonely.

She had to catch up to the others! Or die trying at least.

On second thought, she really didn't like that idea, but she didn't have much of a choice now but to push on and hope she came upon them soon.

"Puuurrrrttyyyyyyy...."

It seemed that the pale demoness had managed to attract the attention of a yeti who...well..may have been mistaking her for one of his own kind. Oh dammit.

Tsetsiliya jumped away from the yeti in surprise, her back to the icy cliffs. Did.. did it just say she was pretty? Grandma Nadya had said never to take comments like that lying down (or was that when they insulted your family? It was hard to tell when it came Happy Hour at the Pavlova family home).

"P-please stay away!" With a shriek and a shaky throw of the wreath that was previously looped around her arm, she tried to scare it off if anything else. What luck that she managed to score some damage!

Applause? West smiled as Alwine walked ahead of him and was still grinning when she turned around.

"Nah, I dunreally ever getta use stuff like this," he said, lifting the smoking EXTREME SNOWBALL LAUNCHER 5000. "'t's why I pickt'it. 'S fun." That last time the thing had left him with a stinging cut on his palm and more ringing in his ears than it had previously, but Alwine didn't have to know that. West kicked at a short snow drift, catching himself right before he lost his balance and went flopping backward. "Norm'ly I punch things, yeah. Kickin' n scratchin' n stuff." That was about it.

"Mmm hmm," he added in response to Barth. "Th'people 'round here're weird."

"I don't think they fight much, here," Barth said, looking at the scattered snow that was now difficult to distinguish from the rest of the mountain. He wondered what the equivalent would be, getting blown to bits by a meat cannon?

"Except the sword guy, clearly. Glad we didn't run into his training partner."

After seeing Colette look all around and away, Raziel looked in the direction of the fight that West had just managed to get into. Before he knew it, the fight was over, and the gangster snowman blown to bits.

He had thought for a moment to tell Colette that watching West fight could cure her boredom, but it all ended far too quickly for that to be an option. Raziel trudged on through the snow, offering a comment of, "Wow, you make it look way easy," to West in reference to killing the enemies.. it made him look twice as awesome to be doing it with a whole other demon on his shoulders.

Tsetsiliya was still blushing when she grabbed the present and held it tightly against her. She needed to catch up to the others. Luckily they were just visible above her, and with one hand grasping her skirts and the other clutching the box. Her quilted boots were already soaked to capacity but she had to hurry up the ridge.

"H-- Hey! Everyone!" The tiny poludnica dropped her fur-trimmed skirts and waved her free arm to get their attention. She could feel the skirts getting heavier. Oh well, the skirts could join the rest of her which was already soaking wet and freezing cold.

Jamais heard the comment about the ninja, "Don't jinx us. I don't think we want to turn into his training partner." She called at Barth giving a frown.

She stretched, her and Basil were bringing up the rear but that was okay with the demoness. She watched the fights going on around them curiously.

"Hi Tset," Barth said, glad to have another of their party along. Being surrounded by strong and competent people was up there as far as survival tactics went. Tset seemed small and shy, but had some pretty deadly aim with that wreath.

"We almost had him," Barth said. "Not all the blood was ours."

Basil grinned "Yea, pizza or something like that sounds great!" she had to readjust the tent on her shoulders again, she wasn't used to the extra weight of the new loot yet, but it won't take long.

She smiled contently and watched the fights as they happened then ended, students always winning of course. Basil had to march to go though the tall snow of the mountains by this time she was pretty much used to the cold.

Looking ahead silently she saw that the big group of students were fairly close now, seems like the two walk pretty fast.

"Tsetsiliya!" Alwine ran over to her and clasped her hands. "I didn't have a chance to properly thank you for the sash. I truly do appreciate it. Oh, thank you so much!!"

She helped Tsetsiliya walk over through the snow to the rest of the group.

"You'd better stick with us. That yeti was scary!!"

Finally after walking for days, they were close to the end. Raziel could see Christmas town not too far off. The excitement and eagerness to get out of the cold and snow got the better of Raziel and he could be found half sprinting towards their next location. He was on his way to Christmas Town.

"Good job Siliya! And glad I'm not the only one lagging behind!" Belladonna let out a short laugh, found that not as funny as she had thought and turned to the girl. "Do you need help with your skirts? I'm feeling better, so I can help you carry them if you'd like... I'd offer West, but he's busy with Barth." This time she giggled at the two. They made quite a pair, one so filled with rage and the other so lazy... And they were demons? Huh.... The thought hadn't occurred to the witch, but they might just be a wrath and sloth demon! Fancy that! Too bad it wasn't a big enough topic for the witch to ask about and honestly, she was feeling sheepish she hadn't noticed it yet. Relying so heavily on one's intuition that was now diminished due to this stupid pin sure made Belladonna feel a bit silly.

"SO! We almost there yet?" She inquired of the group, sticking her hands on her hips. "I wonder what'll happen when we get there?" On one hand she hoped for fighting because that was fun! But on the other hand she hoped not because she didn't Alwine or even Siliya to fight. It wasn't that they couldn't handle themselves, it was just what if something REALLY bad happened? Not as bad as that ninja, but something way worse than these yetis and snowmen??

As Alwine returned with Tsetsiliya, Colette waved. She hadn't even noticed the ghoul was behind. Remembering what she told Raziel before, Colette felt bad for forgetting her. She just hoped no one else overheard her mistake.

Colette stared straight ahead now, antsy that nothing had cured her boredom yet. Though, drawing closer to their target than before only encouraged the feeling. The ghoul sighed. The fact she had been to the side the whole time could probably be a factor too.

She didn't really know how close they were to be exact, but the ghoul just tossed an answer at Belladonna, "Probably soon. Hopefully." She wanted this trip to be over with already. There was too much walking involved, and she knew she was probably awfully behind all the other student cars.

Attempting to spur some entertainment, she addressed anyone that was actually listening, "So what do you think this Christmas Town will be like?" Colette had no idea herself, save probably extremely joy-filled.
