Beatrix watched him take off his coat and walk around to the other side of the bed. She laid down next to him resting her head on the pillow and gave him a small smile. "Surprised?" she asked followed by a yawn. "I don't see what you are surprised about." She curled up close to him and closed her eyes but she was still awake. Her ears twitched listening to all the different sounds in the room and her tail rested against the bed but every once in a while it would flicker. She covered her mouth as another yawn slipped out making her eyes water a bit she wiped away the wetness and let out a content sigh.

No sleep No sleep until I am done with finding the answer Won't stop Won't stop before I find a cure for this cancer Sometimes I feel I going down and so disconnected Somehow I know that I am haunted to be wanted . Dadrik Didn't reply to her question. Instead he just lifted his arm up over her and turned a bit. His chest for the most part facing her. He then brought his other hand up and over her. Slightly embracing her. He heard her small sigh and just smiled. Now he wait for her to sleep. Lilith by this time silently got up and flickered away. She was off to explore and give them time alone. The room now being quiet, only two heart beat's in the room. And considering that Beatrix was close to his chest, she could probably hear it.
Maarick gave Eric another smile. "Yes, what are the odds?" He said with a light laugh. "You are a pretty quick one. Not many these days could actually put two and two together. Trust me...this isn't the first time. But you see, if I was truly trying to...well 'hide' it. Do you think I would be saying any of this. I know you've seen the fire I spoke of. And The wind I used, it is similar to what I said. Although it does not have the Emerald Haze in it, it is still a wind. The emerald that shines in the wind only happens when there is a certain thing inside of it...." Maarick told Eric but continued to talk about them as if he was talking about someone else. Althought Eric already figured it out. He had his reason's, just in case a third party was to be listening in. IT would at least serve as cover if someone just butted in.. He looked down at the mans food which had been vanishing fairly quickly now. He then looked back up to Eric. " As for how I make it sound, I am not looking for ungodly. Just precise and careful...well...only half so." He said with a bit of a sarcastic tone. "My brother can be a bit careless, as you've seen." He said with a low sounded chuckle. " Now, I was only testing you to say. Seeing if you would catch on. As simple as it seemed to you, I've come across people who couldn't get it for the life of them. " He continued on. " I'm doing this for a reason." He said with a nod. " If you knew anything about the two rumored beings...There is another rumor. This one you have to do some digging yourself to find out though. The Emerald Reaper and The Phantom Blaze are 'rumored' to be one and the same of the......well, what? That is what you must figure out. " He said continuing to look at him. " But that as I said is for you to figure out in a different means the me. I had not planned on giving you that much detail of us to be honest. But you have gotten so much farther then I have guessed you would. And without your powers. Which is outstanding to me." He nodded to his comment. " But I have infact brought up the names of our rumor for a reason. What do you think two beings would be doing in Aden? Ones that are rumored to kill mercilessly and destroy...nothing is destroyed yet. Infact that rumor is false. If We were known to be in a place there would be alot of chaos. No one ever knows we are really in a place till it seems to late.....Well until now that is. " He stopped and looked toward the doorway then back. " You know, and this is for a reason. I find that your abilities would be exponentially useful in this situation...that is..if you don't plan on backstabbing for your own gain...fortune teller." Maarick said the last part with a cocked eyebrow.

Beatrix opened her eyes and looked up at him. Her cheeks blushed lightly and she slowly closed her eyes again. "Thank you.." she muttered. She reached out and gently gripped on to his shirt and her ears lowered. Her head rested against his chest and she listened to his heart beat. Finally feeling safe and warm sleep started to take her. Her breathing became soft and steady as she fell in to darkness.

Dadrik just nodded as she thanked him. He had no more words to say at this moment. He just looked at her as she closed her eyes. He brought the arm that was on her waist up where his hand could reach her ears. Dadrik then began to lightly pet the back of her ears trying to relax her. Slowly they stopped moving though but stayed where they were. His eyes slowly slid close, and his breathing slowed. Something he never did since he was turned was about to occur. Dadrik's conscious faded and he fell into the darkness of sleep, along side Beatrix.

Well, if it's not real You can't hold it in your hands You can't feel it with your heart And I won't believe it
Eveline Valdigraph Eveline slept lightly and not for every long. The bit of sun that reached her room woke her from her sleep. She toss and turned for a little bit until she could no longer stay in bed. She got up and went through her daily routine of getting ready. Once she was finished she opened the door to her foom and crept down the stairs to the back door. She froze when she heard the familiar voice of her brother echoing through the halls. He was close by and if he caught her sneaking out she would be in some trouble. She bit her lip and took a moment to listen to him. "Make sure to line the place with guards...all of them. I will not have this incident happen again you hear me. Make the arrangements for my weakling father and get the records of our family's wealth and send them up to my room." Eve didn't want to listen to any more. Soon Eve found herself sneaking out the back door of the mansion and making her way out in to the streets. Her clothing she chose today were muted and dulled down compared to her normal clothing of fine silk and rich colors so that she could blend into the streets without being noticed by others.
Eve found her way to the inn called the Blue Moth and walked inside. She asked the keeper what room and floor Beatrix was on and walked up the stairs towards the room. Her heartbeat loudly in her chest as she got closer to her room. She still felt uneasy about the friend the Trix had made over the years but it wasn't something that was going to hold her back. Eve reached up and fiddled with her necklace that Dadrik had given her. He didn't seem to be a bad person but she still held some fear of him.
But if it's true You can see it with your eyes Even in the dark And that's where I want to be What a shame we all became, xxxxxxxxsuch fragile broken things, A memory remains, xxxJust a tiny spark, xxxxxxxI give it all my oxygen, XXXXXXXXXto let the flames begin, XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOh glory... ~+~Beatrix~+~
Beatrix's body seemed to relax as he stroked her ears. Her mother use to do the same when she was a child to help her sleep. For a while she slept peacefully but suddenly was stirred awake by something. Her eyes fluttered open and she found herself staring into Dadrik's chest. She looked up at his face and found him sleeping peacefully as she once was. Trix reached up and stroked his cheek gently so that she wouldn't wake him.
Then she caught Eve's scent and heard her foot steps approaching the door to the room. She slipped away from Dadrik and kissed his forehead before quietly getting out of the bed. She hurried over to the door and opened it just before Eve could knock on it. She pressed her index finger to her lips to tell her not to speak. Then stepped out of the room, closing the door behind her. She then took Eve's hand and guided her down the stairs and out in to the street where they could talk.
"Beatrix...I wanted to apologize for how I acted." Eveline began but Beatrix quickly cut her off. "No. No apologizing...don't worry about it. Everyone makes mistakes." she said with a warm smile. "Dadrik, Maarick..and Lilith are all very kind people, Eve. If you give them a chance then you will see that." she rubbed the back of her head and glanced over at Eve with her smile. "I've been worried about you. ya know? I feared that they had figured out you had helped me escape..." Eve grinned and shook her head. "Give me credit. I've covered my tracks" she said with a wink.
Beatrix gently gripped on to Eve's hand and held it like when they were younger. Eve had always been warm to her. She had always treated her very kindly. She cared for her and would do just about anything for her. "I'm so happy to see you again." Eve smile and nodded. "I'm happy to see you as well." Beatrix was calm and rather happy at the moment but something started to make her uneasy...as if something was following them. Trix shrug it off the and focused on Eveline.

Tell them all to never fear Tell them what they want to hear Tell them all the blissfull lies Watch them leave with hopeful eyes... Eric Halen Your Fortune awaits --------------------------- "Thanks, but I need to be able to figure things out like that to make a living. It helps my business alot when I actually know something prior to the client's entrance. The fact that you find it outstanding seems somewhat odd, as I'm sure many people can add things up like that." Eric smiled, and finished off his steak, taking to the rest of his salad. " I do wonder what that certain thing causing the little haze is though. I'm guessing you won't tell me no matter how much I prod right now, though." A small chuckled escaped his lips, and he took a sip of water.
Moving on to the next point, Eric's smiled faded. Not because something was bothering him, but because things had gotted just a bit more serious. "I guess you do have a point there. The entire city would have gone mad if they actually knew that you were here, especially with what they think of you dancing around in their heads." Eric pondered the thought for a moment, then quickly progressed to the next little section. "You think my abilities would be useful? I think I might be flattered. I'll help, if that's what you're asking. I also don't plan on backstabbing, though I'll keep my reason for myself." Eric didn't plan on playing traitor for a few reasons. One was that he could gain nothing by doing so. The other was what he would deal with if he did. ...Let them waste their wealth on you though you say what isn't true Go and live to your delight The fortune teller strikes tonight {{Edited due to format error (color and bolded dialogue)}}

No sleep No sleep until I am done with finding the answer Won't stop Won't stop before I find a cure for this cancer Sometimes I feel I going down and so disconnected Somehow I know that I am haunted to be wanted . Dadrik was content where he was, how he was. Sleep never came to him. It was truly rare for this to be happening. His mind went at ease but it wasn't what one would think. He did not dream his mind did not race....he was in a peaceful place as it stood. He was so content infact, he did not move when Beatrix got up. Instead he stayed asleep. But when she left the room, he started to toss and turn in the bed every now and again.
Maarick slowly put his hands together on the table and shrugged. "I'd think so to, but you'd be surprised how ignorant people are. Some things that seem common sense to us, don't always apply to others." He said with a nod. He then leaned in a bit more. " Yes, your abilities would be useful. My brother noticed you mention you can tell when people change they're minds, where they're path is going. And you tell me you can see into the future. True it may be fogged when looking at us, but do you not claim to be able to see the future? If you can't really then tell me now." He said with a slight sigh. "But going off you can. I need you to watch something for me..To keep an eye out to say. You are aware of the phoenix feather of Aden, but are you aware that there are actually two. A physical feather which came from the phoenix itself. And a Spiritual one, which consists of the Phoenix's soul." He told Eric. This was not common knowledge. People of Aden are lead to believe that the feather kept in the tower is the actual feather, for reasons. "The one that you helped Beatrix was infact the soul of the phoenix. The Higher ups of Aden do not believe it is of much importance...this is because they don't know the truth behind it. Only a few knew, one of them being dead Now. They put it out there as a flaunt, a guise to the real one. Now, I know where the real one is.....but if I tell you, you must promise not to use it as your own gain for later use." He said slightly squinting his eyes while turning his head a just a bit but kept looking at Eric.

Well, if it's not real You can't hold it in your hands You can't feel it with your heart And I won't believe it
Eveline Valdigraph Eveline smiled and laughed as she talked with Beatrix. Her hand gently gripped on her her friend's. When she looked over at the fox she noticed a worried expression on her face. "What's wrong?" Eve asked. Beatrix just shook her head and gave her a small smile "Nothing, I think I'm just looking in to small things." Eve took her hand and lead her over to a small stand where some baked goods were being sold. she bough a loaf of freshly baked bread and split it in half with Trix. Beatrix took it and nibbled on the the bead but her eyes continued to scan the surroundings around them. Eve let out a soft sigh and patted her on the back. "I don't see what you are worrying about. We are perfectly find out here. No one will hurt us right?"
Her words didn't seem to comfort Trix one bit. "Eve, there are always things out here that can get you. You need to be more careful." she said to her. "I go out all the time, I've never been in any danger" she said and shook her head. "You just worry about the little things. Come on now." Her friend let out a soft sigh and took another bit out of her bread. Eve didn't understand what she was so afraid of. Her father was long gone, her brother was busy with other matters, sure there were thieves and other things out here but nothing they couldn't handle. Eve clearly didn't have a good sight on how the world really was like.
Eve then guided Beatrix away from the busy crowd of the main street and down a quieter one. Trix seemed to hesitate for a moment but went along with her. Now she seemed even more uneasy than before. Eve tried to put her worries at ease by talking about their childhood but she came to a hush when she looked ahead and found a cloaked man waiting for them. Eve stopped and took a step back then looked behind her to find two other men blocking their exit. Her heart started racing, who were these people and why are they blocking us leaving?
But if it's true You can see it with your eyes Even in the dark And that's where I want to be What a shame we all became, xxxxxxxxsuch fragile broken things, A memory remains, xxxJust a tiny spark, xxxxxxxI give it all my oxygen, XXXXXXXXXto let the flames begin, XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOh glory... ~+~Beatrix~+~
Beatrix listened quietly to Eve as she spoke to her about this and that. She didn't speak often just listened to her and gave her an occasional nod but something kept bugging her. Something was following them, she just knew it and she didn't know why. When Eve asked her what was wrong Beatrix didn't want to worry her so she didn't tell her.
Eve seemed so carefree now. Did she really not know the dangers of walking the street? Even in daylight it could be very dangerous. She just didn't understand this. It worried her even more that she goes out on her own. Eve doesn't seem to have any way of protecting herself. Trix feared that one day her luck would run out and she would run into trouble that would end her life. She wished that eve would have taken up some sort of training in her studies to defend herself but it never seemed to appeal to the young noblewoman.
As Eve lead her down a quiet street Beatrix wanted to refuse but Eve seemed determined. Sure, it would give them more privacy but at the moment Trix felt too uncomfortable. Reluctantly she followed her behind her into the street. She opened her mouth to Eve to tell her to go back but it was already too late. She watch a man walk out from the shadows of a building and stand in the middle of street. Her ears flatten against her head and she let out a low growl.
Trix looked behind her to see another men blocking their way back. She pulled Eve to the side of her and placed her between the men walking towards them. "What the hell do you want?" she snapped at them. There was no response. She pulled out a dagger and waited until they were close enough then ran at them. Trix cut through one man's cloak only to hit a plate of armor. She jumped back and mustered what she could to summon a decent ball of flame. Because of her lack of rest she hadn't been able to gain enough energy back to call on her real flame. At that moment another man came from behind her but Trix ducked down avoiding his attack and dug her dagger in to a weak spot in his armor on his leg then quickly pulled it out. The man cried out and stumbled back. Trix then threw her flame at the man she had been originally attacking, catching his cloak on fire. He quickly worked on taking it off before the fire could completely engulf him.
Beatrix heard Eve cry out to her and turned to see her in the grips of another cloaked man. Trix started to run towards to her friend to free her but then something hit her hard on the back of her head causing her to hit the ground and fall into unconsciousness
Eve watched in horror and tried to scream but the man covered her mouth. Other men started to appear from the shadows and they quickly got to work chaining and tying up the two women. Eve kick her legs and dried her best to free herself but they had a firm grip on her. They put a rag over her mouth and she inhaled the liquid that they had dosed it with. She then joined Beatrix and fell in the the blackness as well. The men threw them into a carriage that waited for them on the end of the street and then the carriage started towards it's destination.

Tell them all to never fear Tell them what they want to hear Tell them all the blissfull lies Watch them leave with hopeful eyes... Eric Halen Your Fortune awaits --------------------------- Eric took another sip of water, finished off his salad, and leaned back a bit. "I am quite cabable of seeing into the future. I did admit to it earlier this meal, right? " Eric smiled. "More often the not, I know what is going to happen before it does, if the matter interests me." Eric ran his hand thorugh his hair again, though this time, it was not worry that made him do that. It was closer to confidence or pride, though he didn't have much to be proud of. "I could try and give a prediction for you, if you want proof. Then we could see how accurate I am later on." Eric took another sip of water.
Slowly, Eric leaned forward, placing his folded hands on the table. "Now, about that feather. What you say is interesting, and as farfetched as that seems, I find myself trusting you. I know that sometime in the future, I'll find that what you say is true." Eric slowly changed his facial expression to a serious look. The smile on his face disappeared once more. "I do promise not to use the information you offer for my own purposes later on. I really don't know what I would gain from something like that anyway." Eric leaned back until he was back at a regular sitting angle. He picked up his glass, and took a final sip from it, emptying the glass. "That was a nice meal." He commented, though it was off topic. ...Let them waste their wealth on you though you say what isn't true Go and live to your delight The fortune teller strikes tonight

Selael The Pyromancer
"It's the Quiet Ones you have to watch out for..." The Pyromancer finished his studies of the liturgy associated with moving the Ark... Nice and conspicuous, just the way he wanted it. There wasn't a single aspect about this ceremony that commanded subtlety... He decided to go out for a walk to get some fresh air, adjusting his robe and preparing himself to go outdoors for a time... He might run into some trouble outside, and could certainly use the practice should he run into some thieves and muggers... Actually, he was hoping he'd run into some thieves and muggers.
When he got outside, he began to walk around for a bit... After walking for quite some time, he saw the Fox Girl from earlier and a blue-haired woman being escorted into a carriage by a group of black-cloaked and cowled hooligans... Or so it appeared. Not wanting to risk making a scene, he slowly approached the carriage and knelt down, feeling the ground along which the Fox Girl and the Blue-Haired Woman were standing. He muttered to himself softly, "Bicallis Cineris." This took him back... It was slightly nostalgic. Maybe that Fox Woman said something stupid to incur the ire of some less-then-reputable folk... Honestly, it wasn't something he couldn't see coming. Her whole lot was pretty stupid and just gives in to their whims, it wouldn't be surprising if they finally pissed off the wrong people, the kind that were just as impulsive as they were and with the same amount of unwarranted power... So why did he care?
Well... There was a chance that they know that Beatrix "Stole" the feather, so there's a decent likelihood that they were thieves who wanted it for themselves... If they were with the Royal Family and wanted to make sure the feather was safe, he had no quarrel with them, but if they were with the Royal Family and wanted to take the feather for themselves, well... Good thing the Shalehems weren't actually nobles.
He followed the path of Ashes left by Beatrix and Eveline that would appear on the ground, as per the spell's power... All he had to do now was follow the trail left by the carriage's wheels and the ashes and he'd ascertain just who and what these people were...

Maarick smiled at Eric and his what seemed to be enthusiasm. " Yes you did say that." He said with a slight nod. "Yes, I would figure as much. I trust you would know what would happen if you did use it for yourself. So no need for that part of the deal then." He said slowly standing up, pushing the chair out with the back of his knees. "The real feather is under the castle, deep within a labyrinth they built to confuse and ward those who try to take the feather...if they found out about it in the first place." Dadrik told Eric. " I need no example of your abilities. I trust you can do it. What I want you to do is keep an eye out, watch the labyrinth's future....to see who may enter. And when something comes to you please let me know." He said taking a side step from the table and chair. " I'm glad you enjoyed the meal." He said starting to walk toward the door, but stopping next to Eric, but looking only at the door. "Oh, and you will be rewarded for any help you may give." He said taking a pouch off of his side under one of the flaps of his clothing and setting it down infront of him. It contained quite a few gold coins. " This is half what will come if you succeed in helping us." He then continued to walk till he was out the door.

Well, if it's not real You can't hold it in your hands You can't feel it with your heart And I won't believe it
Eveline Valdigraph Eveline's eyes fluttered open and her vision was blurry. She blinked a few times and looked around the room. The room looked rather familiar and then it dawned on her that she was in her father's study. She tried to move her hands the she found that they were tied down the arms of the chair. Panic started to set in and she began to wiggle around in the chair trying to escape. Then she heard her brother's voice and she stilled. It sounded like he was speaking to the guards. "I want every door guarded. I want the entrance guarded...no one is to come in without my permission. I don't care who they say they are...If they refuse to leave...kill them on the spot." The guards replied with a "Yes sir!" and then she heard their for steps walk down the hall.
The doorknob to the room turned and the door opened. Eve's eyes fell the the floor. She feared her brother, always had, more than the other brothers. He was a wicked soul and his heart was nothing but a black cold hole. He walked up to her and grabbed her chin then forced her eyes to meet his. Her heart pounded in her chest and her heart thumped against her rib cage. Her deep blue eyes met sky blue and she saw the nasty smirk across his lips. "Hello little sister. You have been very naughty." He then pressed his cold index finger against her nose then let go of her. He walked away from her and over the the large window that gave the room a view that casted out at the garden below. "You meddle with that slave instead of turning her in and you befriend those who killed our father....Your nothing more than a sniveling traitor" His voice was cold and soft. "I will not have that apart of my family.
Eve's head shot up at the mention of Beatrix. Her eyes scanned her surroundings looking for her friend and found no one. She feared the worse had happened to her. "Where is Beatrix?" she dared ask. Her brother spun around stared at her with a smirk a cross his lips. "Don't worry about her. She's down in her cage where she belongs. We going to get her fit with a new collar soon. I had to make some adjustments to the room to keep her temperature low so that she won't be a danger." He ran his hand through his long white white hair that was neatly tied back in a pony tail and shook his head. "Now what am I going to do with you? After all that you had done...I should take your name and throw you in the slave trade. We can fit you with a pretty little collar and send you over to a friend of mine...He would get some use out of you."
She shuddered and bit her trembling lip as he continued."You did nothing for our name. You didn't live up to the expectations. You didn't stand up for it and try to create a good image for us. That was your purpose Eveline. I don't see why father didn't throw you out but you reminded him so much of our mother..what a pity..." Eveline took a breath and finally spoke to her brother. "Protect our name...our good image...what image? What have we done? What happened to the royal family...the king...what father was planning.." She then felt a strong slap across her face imedatly silencing her. Her head lowered again but she still spoke. "They are right you know...They were right to kill him..and if you keep this up they will kill you too." Again another slap that filled the room, silencing her soft voice.
Her brother grabbed the back of her chair and dragged it across the room to the window where he grabbed her chin and forced her to look out it. Her eyes widened when she the large amount of guards gathered together in formation outside like an army. "I dare them to try. These men are the best money can buy. I doubt that your little friends will be able to blow through them." he let go of her chin and left her at the window. She heard the door close and foot steps walking away.
She stared out at the yard for a few moments. It was hopeless. What could she do? She feared the worst for Beatrix and her own future was unknown. Her vision started to blur again and hot tears fell from her cheeks. Then her eyes lit up and she remembered the necklace around her neck but how would she get it off? She looked down at the arm of her hair and smirk appeared on her lips. She lowered her upper body allowing the necklace to dangle then hooked it around the arm of the chair. "Please let this work.." she whispered then pulled her head back snapping the necklace. The wolf emblem fell to the white marble floor shattering when it made contact with it's surface.
Beatrix woke up in a cold pitch black room. She couldn't tell if she was even opening her eyes because it was so dark. She shivered uncontrollably as she tried to make sense of where she was at. Her head throbbed and body ached. How ever she got here it wasn't done gently. She tried to move her hands but they were chained up to the cold wall.
The door to the room suddenly flew open flooding the room with bright light. Trix closed her eyes and turned her head away from the door way. "Look what is finally brought home" Said a familiar voice. Trix slowly opened her eyes and forced herself to look and see who it was. Her heart sank to the pit of her stomach and she felt rather sick. "Nigel.." she managed to say. There was laughter in response. Eve's brother approached her and knelt down in front of her. "Where is Eve you b*****d" she snarled at him. He only smirked and pressed his finger against her nose. "Now don't you worry you little head about her...I would be more worried about you."
Trix snarled at him and bared her teeth at him then snapped at his finger. Her ears flattened against her head and the fur on her tail puffed out while it whipped back and forth. A frown appeared on his lips as he started to become irritated with her behavior. He stood up then took a few steps from her. She then heard two snaps felt the sering pain of her flesh being torn. She cried out and whimper softly. The brother dangled the end of the whip in front of her as he spoke to her. "I am your master now. Collar or no. Remember that. My brother was kind compared to what I will put you through. You've haunted my family long enough...I'm going to make sure you never see the light of day again." With that he left her. Taking the light and the weapon with him.
. Somewhere weakness is our strength, And I'll die searching for it, I can't let myself regret, such selfishness, My pain I know the trouble caused, no matter how long, I believe that there's hope,
buried beneath it all..

No sleep No sleep until I am done with finding the answer Won't stop Won't stop before I find a cure for this cancer Sometimes I feel I going down and so disconnected Somehow I know that I am haunted to be wanted . Dadrik continued to toss and turn in bed until his eyes opened wide. A loud ringing sounded through out his mind and soul. He quickly sat up in bead and looked around. " ********!!!." Dadrik shouted. " Beatrix? Eve...?" All that went through his mind was, were did they go...they're in trouble....why the hell was I asleep. That is when His body exploded in black flame, leaving the bed in nothing but ashes. Dadrik's body moved faster then before. He knew there was trouble, the necklace being broken wasn't the only sign. How it resonated meant trouble. Great, Beatrix was in trouble...he was not around to do anything about it......some protector Dadrik thought.
The moment the Wolf broke all the pieces bursted into flame and surrounded Eve, pushing outward with a fury of the sun but keeping it safe within the flame. It started to get so hot inside that room that the armor the guards were wearing would soon singe whoever wore them. But as it continued, it started to die down until the flame started to conjoin at one point, turning slowly into a physical form. Dadrik's body. He materialized from the Flame right infront of Eve, his eyes covered in a nearly pitch black haze. His aura poring off of his body taking shape almost like his flames. No sooner then he showed up, did he pull his arm back in a lunge like position. His sword quickly came from a burst of black flame as he thrusted it forward. The nearest guard happened to be several feet away, but as Dadrik's arm fully extended His body became a blur as he slid across the ground embedding his sword into a guards chest.
As he held onto the sword, Dadrik's head was toward the ground, but his eyes were at another group of Guards. The look in his eyes if one could see past the shroud of Black, was one of anger, fear, hate. Quickly jerking back, he forcefully took his blade from the guards chest as he plopped to the ground. Gargling noises came as he breathed in his own blood. He lifted up his sword then struck it downward, tossing the blood from his sword to the ground.
Dadrik at this point turned his head slightly to see Eve tied up, she'd be safest there for now. Not in the way. Quickly he snapped his head back toward the guards. His body began to vibrate, sending a loud sound echoing through out the room. This usually wasn't necessary but Dadrik wanted to send a warning of sorts. As his body vibrated, it flickered as well. In an instant he was gone from the spot he stood, only to be in another across the room. And in between the two points happened to be guards. As they looked back to him he slowly turned his head and glared. No sooner, every guard that was between the two points he traveled bursted into blood and fell into pieces. They're armor as well. He slowly turned his body toward the rest of the guards and began to lift up his sword, almost elegantly. Getting into another attack position.

They say.... That I must learn to kill before I can feel safe But I I rather kill myself then turn into their slave Sometimes I feel that I should go and play with the thunder Somehow I just don't wanna stay and wait for a wonder

Selael The Pyromancer
"It's the Quiet Ones you have to watch out for..."
Selael then heard a great commotion within the manor. The idiot even went as far as to start a frontal assault and kill off soldiers! The fool... He'd alert every soldier in the area to his presence. However... Perhaps one man's foolishness is Selael's own boon. Perhaps in his idiocy, that man who started the ruckus inside the manor had given Selael quite an edge in his hunt for these ragtag thieves... Or perhaps mercenaries, he wasn't sure. Either way, they were intent on finding the feather, which was something he could not allow...
"Thank the heavens for stupid people..." As he walked around the massive hubbub, he inspected each of the windows, looking for something... In particular, an oil lamp near it... In a manor this big, there had to be one somewhere... After circling the building, he found one. Excellent... Though getting to it wasn't exactly easy. There were still guards at each post and they weren't all alerted to the interloper's presence yet. He wasn't sure who was dumber... The Soldiers or that brute inside. At any case, he had to act fast if he was going to hope to destroy the thieves in their own nest...
He conjured one of his flames with his incantation, "Ignus." With it, he sent a small spark in some random direction that was away from him and had the flame erupt from near the sand and create a noise loud enough to grab the guards' attention. With the explosion sounding, Selael would take the opportunity to approach the window closer and pick up some sand. He held it in his hand and threw it up in the air, then used his Ignus spell on it... He propelled a volley of glass shards that flew at the window... Out of the seven that shot out, one of them hit the window, making a small, insignificant hole... Though it was enough for Selael, as he nodded at it in approval. He then held out his hand, and muttered his Ignus spell one more time, compressing the flame in a spark and sending it through the tiny hole in the window, and once the flame was next to the oil lamp...
BOOOOM! The spark burst into an enormous, magic flame that knocked over the oil lamp and set the oil, the carpet, and much of the materials inside that room aflame... And the flames would be spreading quickly throughout the household.
Selael then ran back and watched the fireworks he made... He'd either smoke out his criminal quarry or kill them in the process... As for the fates of the blue-haired woman and Beatrix, well... They'd find their miraculous way out. No skin off his chest...

Tell them all to never fear Tell them what they want to hear Tell them all the blissfull lies Watch them leave with hopeful eyes... Eric Halen Your Fortune awaits --------------------------- The clink of money in a bag instantly caught Eric's attention. He smiled, a hint of greed flashing in his eyes as he looked at the pouch, quite satisfied. Eric slid his chair back, and stood up. He pushed the chair in, looked at his empty plate, bowl and glass, and tallied up the price in his head. He pulled out the fee from the pouch, and placed it on the table, hoping that that was how one paid in that particular diner. He pushed in Maarick's chair and quickly followed the man outside.
"Should I follow, or should i go back to my regular day?" The fortune teller asked the man when he caught up. "I have nothing better to do. This I have no customers at around this time, and my shop is all closed. I won't be letting anyone down if I'm not around. I've made my daily quota today as well, so I'm not suffering either." Eric grinned, still following like a sheep. The suddenly, he stopped. His grin slipped away, revealing a look of worry. "You said to let you know if anything comes to me... It's not about the labyrinth, but I think it's still important. I think something is about to go wrong, and I'm sure you're brother is somehow involved. Not involved like he's causing the problem, but involved as in part of the entire situation, whether part of the problem or solution." He focused a bit harder on trying to figure it out. "I think there are some nobles involved as well." There was worry in Eric's tone. ...Let them waste their wealth on you though you say what isn't true Go and live to your delight The fortune teller strikes tonight
