If we get all our root words from Latin, where do they get theirs from? Was there someone getting paid to sit down and make up words for things that don't have words? "We need a word for those pointy things people use for currency over in America." "How 'bout... lemme see... riquyyk... no, raponk... aha! Rock! Wait a sec... have we discovered America yet?" "Yeah. Columbus left 12 years ago." "Then why are we still speaking Latin? Shouldn't we be screwing it up to make English?" "Yeah, I guess you're right. Let's get to work."

Mako18 lol I'm 17 and a Senior in High School how about you? 16, and in physical pain of not being able to test out of my weak-a** algebra class. I use trig, I want to take trig, they have trig, but they won't let me in trig. Not only that, but most of my English teachers have been born in another country, and therefore learned to speak in a different language. Never move to a desert state.

Mako18 lol, why won't the let you in Trig? I moved here from Alaska, and both school systems have poor administration. My records never got transfered, and the schools here require certain classes as prerequisites to trig. I had to start over from square 1.
