Chapter 4: Treachery at its Finest  (Remember that if you wanna buy something, just give a brief explanation of the shop, and its items. We have a total of 70,000 zenny rounded up if course) As Neo walked alongside her, he couldn't help but get the feeling that he wasn't welcome there, and that everyone was looking at them, and when he turned attentively to the people, they actually were doing so. He still didn't care about what they say or throw at him, as long as he protects Mikka, so he kept walking alongside her, and entered the shop. It had such mysticalk things. Some he had seen in mythical books, and others he had never even seen or heard of before, but this was quite interesting, so he started to browse the shop with his eyes opened, and his hands out of his pockets.

((all right)) A grumble could be heard in the back of the shop before a old looking Drow came out. "Mikka how are you young one" Kute said walking up to her and giving her a hug, "What can I do for you or better yet what can you do for me." He was tall like most of his race but his skin was more Grey then black and he his hair was dyed a off green color like his robes. Mikka just laughed and hugged him back. "I have nothing to sell to you today friend I am here to buy something" she said smiling. "Very will what can a do for you and your friend" Kute said grinning. "Armor light armor" she said. Kute gave her a look before going to the back. When he was gone she went over to Neo.

Neo simply didn't hear anything that was happening about the old man, and Mikka, as he was still browsing the shop, and astonished by everything in there, when Mikka came next to him, he was mumbling to himself " How is this even scientifically possible? How does this work? How does that move?" as a scientist, Neo was simply aroused by everything inside the shop, how it looked, and how it worked, so he was in a "paradise" so to speak.

Mikka just giggled as she watched him for he looked like a kid in a candy store. Looking around it looked like Kute had some new stuff in to sell to people and some old stuff as will. Leaving Neo to have his fun she went to the counter and waited. "Here we go" Kute said coming back from the back with a chest, "Wait kind of trouble did you get your self in this time to need armor?" "You don't want to know" Mikka said watching open the chest and pulling out some light cloth and leather armor. "Will the cloth stuff is fire proof and lighting proof" he said. "You mean its magic cloth" Mikka said giving him a look. Kute just grinned and led down the leather armor. Mikka ran a hand over it for she felt power in it and the make was not Drow, elf or human. "Its demon made" Kute said. Mikka just looked at him wide eyed not wanting to believe what he just said.

Neo was simply fascinated at everything inside the shop, but the moment he heard something about demon made, he immediately asked in a high pitched voice, while looking towards Mikka, and walking up to her " What's demon-made? Don't even touch it if it's demon-made!" as it had struck him how dangerous it would be if she worse such a thing over her. Maybe Mikka herself didn't know it, but wearing such a thing over herself would give her far worse concequences than it would give her good ones.

Mikka jumped a little and cupped her hands to her chest as she looked at the leather armor. "This leather armor id demon made so what" Kute said giving a look at Neo. "Where did you get it?" Mikka asked. Kute sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. "Some strange looking guy drop it off a while ago and only to sale it to people looking for good light armor, "He told me it was will made in good conduce and demons made it, thats it."

Neo looked back at the old man, as he grabbed the old man by te neck, and rose him up, then threw him at the floor in front of the desk, and then screamed at Mikka " Mikka, whoever this man is, he's an imposter. Check behind the curtains. I bet you'll find the dead body of the old man you actually know!" as he held on to the guy he had thrown to the floor.

Mikka looked at Neo confused before jumping over the counter and heading to the back. Everything looked normal to her as she looked around the back till she heard a slusph like she stepped in to a puddle. Looking down her eyes went wide for it was a puddle of blood coming out of a near by chest. Going to it she opened it and gasped and closed it quickly looking like she was about to get sick. "Kute" she said as tears started to go down her face. "You b*****d" she growled at the stranger as she came back up front tears in her eyes, "How could you."

Neo looked at what seemed like an old man, and the old man started to laugh, even though Neo was holding him by the neck. What seemed like an old man, now trasformed his body into a shadowy form, and was still under Neo's arm, but looked a lot different, almost like a demon, and smiled at them with a very disturbing face, as Neo screamed at the man " Talk! Now! Who are you?!" The demon killed himself by twisting its own neck after an evil smile, and faded into shadows.

A demon a demon had killed her friend and cut his body in to piece and put them in a chest. When it killed its self she know she was not going to get answers why. Wiping her tears she know she need to tell some of so Kute could have a proper Burlie. "Why he did nothing wrong..." she said trying to calm her self but then it hit her. If the demons knew her friends and could replace them then...... "Gods no dad" she said feeling her heart stop, "I have to get home." Picking up the ends of her robe she bolted out of the shop and head back to the noble distract. Forgeting about Neo for her mind was on her family's safety.

Neo followed up behind Mikka quickly, as he finally reached her speed, and stopped her by holding her arm, and said to her in her ear " Stay calm! We're among people. Everyone is watching us.... I'm pretty sure they're not gonna be aiming for your dad, since that demon just wanted you to wear that demon armor for you to get possessed and totally lose control of yourself.... Keep your cool." he then let go of her arm, while getting his mouth away from her ear, and noticing that absolutely everyone in the streets had stopped and looked at them.

"Like I ******** care what people think" Mikka said still upset over her friends death and worried about her father. Letting go of her robes she cleaned her self up the best she could ignoring the looks and whispers of people. Now they were saying they were lovers and other crazy things. Taking a few deep breaths she tryed to calm her self down. Feeling a bit better she leaned closer to him and whispered. "Why?" she asked "Why trick me in to wearing it?"

Neo answered back at her own ear " Deep inside, you know why they want to trick you. They don't want us to reach the rocks, and obtain the Dueye.... They know the grandson of the legendary Arakaiba is with you, so they be aiming to control you. What better way to kill me, than my own friend killing me?" he answered back as he let go of her robe, and felt as though she had calmed down a bit.

Mikka looked at him and nodded for he had that right. If they controlled her what better why to get rid of him then having her do it. It was not right in her mind but this were demons they were dealing with. "Lets get back to the house" was all she said as she head down the streets slowly now. She would tell her father of Kute death and let him deal in telling his family what happened. She really did not feel like talking right now after her friends death.

Neo looked at everyone who looked at them, while they walked, and observed that no one approaches them, so she would be safe. He watched everyone around for no sudden movements, or any rash actions against them, as they walked to the house, and Neo obediently followed her wherever she went. He tried to cheer her up, but this simply wasn't the place or time to talk about what they saw inside that shop.
