Ally's head popped up when she heard someone yelling. She called out but no sound came out of her voice. She grew pretrified of the event in her voice. But not wanting to be alone she ran towards the voice. Where she saw a figure in the distance.

It was Ally. Of course it was Ally. He ran towards her scooping her up in a hug.
"Ally are you hurt? Did something attack you? Ally are you okay?" he asked as he hugged her tightly if not over-protectively.

Ally was overjoyed to see the Doctor and ran into his arms. She then tried to speak but no sound was coming out still. So she hit him to get his attention off of hugging her and to read her lips.

The Doctor gave her a worried look.
"There's something wrong with your voice?" he asked thought it sounded more like a statement. "Ok... how did this happen?"

Ally shrugged and mouthed out "I don't know" she looked up at him with a pouting face.

It was a dream, it had to be a dream, there was no other explanation.
"We're dreaming Ally, I must have fallen asleep..." he looked thoughtful but then smiled, "this is odd, I've never shared a dream before."

"I din't think you could sleep" she mouthed out back to him. She thought for a moment. "Would you leave me if this was permanent?"

He gave her a puzzled look.
"Well of course I sleep! I'm not a robot... though robots do occasionally power down..." he trailed off but then wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Ally, I won't leave you. I'll stay with you as long as you still want me around, okay?"
His eyes had become as gentle as his tone.

She looked up at him and smiled. But then she rememberd the Ood. And her gaze saddened.

He gently brushed a stray hair back behind her ear.
"What's wrong Ally?" he asked softly, "Why are you sad?"

Ally shook her head were her smile returned. "nothing" she mouthed as she hugged him back. She could still remember the song clearly.

The Doctor didn't buy it but simply accepted the answer.
"Oh Ally, you're such a lot of trouble." He teased her as he hugged her back. "Don't ever change."

Ally now wondered why her voice was gone as he hugged her. Then she thought of how she could get it back. She pouted and looked up at him. "How we gonna get my voice back?"

"Oh... already? And I was starting to like the silence," he smiled at her before taking a deep breath, "Well... I dunno, things are always weird in dreams, what do you suggest we do?"

Ally glared at him after he said his statement. "Wake me up, I don't care how painful it is." she said while being completely aware that she might be woken up screaming.
