"i don't even know what happened." this worried Brianna greatly. She stood with his help, a little wobbly in the knees and drew her hand to her neck. "My necklace, where is it? I just had it." She looked at Draka concerned, and even a little angry. She knew she had had it just before he helped her up and now it was gone.

Draka knew she would feel it gone soon enough but that was so much quicker than he had expected, He held the necklace in his hand and showed it to you, "Though the power was incredible and it helped you greatly this artifact is what has drained you completely right now. My guess is it magnifies your current power by making the flow of it stronger. It doesn't really give you more energy. It is dangerous if you do not use it responsibly." He spoke with a touch of concern in his voice.

"I understand.... Mind if I have it back?" Brianna held out her hand. She could feel his concern, and took it wholly. But she wanted to keep her necklace, she knew not to use it lightly. Truthfully it scared her a little, but even more so if it was to fall into the wrong hands. She felt it safest with her and only used by her. Her parents wouldn't have given it to her if she couldn't handle it or keep it safe.

Draka's instincts cried out at him that returning it to her would cause a big problem but he could almost see what might be longing in her eyes when he chanced a glance at them directly. "Just please be careful Brianna. Last thing we need is it exerting every last bit of your energy, and killing you" He spoke gently as he returned it to her, "Just don't wear it just yet okay tuck it away safely on your person."

"If that makes you feel better teach." Brianna was glad to get it back. She slid it into her pocket, feeling that he was right. She really shouldn't wear it just yet. But she felt better just having it on her person. She felt less tired and moved to sit on her bed. "So what next?" She rubbed her eyes a little.

Draka didn't know what kind of condition the episode with the necklace had left her in so he didn't want to her to over extend herself. So he spoke, "Tell me more about your mother. She sounded like a interesting person."

"Not a lot for me to tell. I don't remember her much. She died or disappeared when I was eight. Of course if you ask my father what he told me she is dead. But who really knows." Brianna didn't like the conversation. She didn't like to talk about her mother. "Most of what I can remember is a bit fuzzy and she didn't tell me much in the way of the craft."

Draka scratched a temple and spoke, "Well with you being a necromancer you could always find out if she is dead unless someone has banished her and she is locked away behind a powerful seal. Then it would be harder to find. Just a thought." Draka was interested in both her parents but since her mother was the one who up and left he decided to get her out of the way first because that was always very suspicious.

"That is an option, but I'd rather not find out. I wouldn't know what to say to her either way. Like I said I hardly remember her now." Brianna looked down at the floor as she thought of the possibility of talking to her mother again. They didn't talk about her after she was gone back at home, which is why she didn't remember much.

Draka shrugged, "Well who actually taught you the most about being a necromancer. I would like to know a little more about your history Brianna that is all i ask." Her past is what shaped her present and soon these moments of training would shape her future. He needed to know about things from her past to better understand her today.

"No one taught me anything. I remember random scraps of things my mother did. Thats were all those incantations and hand moves come from. I don't really know how I know them, I just do." Brianna ran her hand through her hair. She hated thinking about her childhood, but guessed he had a reason for asking. "My father hated the stuff. He didn't believe in the boogie man or ghosts. He has never wanted to hear about any of it."

Draka was interested as a necromancer of natural birth was rare and therefore normally forged before birth. Necromantic rituals performed while a woman is pregnant can infuse some of the necromantic energies in the developing child making things come naturally and sometimes it allows them to even use certain spells with absolutely no need for outside gestures, words, or materials. He wondered if she had ever experienced that and if that was really the case here, "I know the topic is touchy for you but was your mom an avid practitioner of the art. As in did she perform rites and rituals as you were developing within her womb?"

Brianna shook her head, "How am to know that?" She didn't get why he had asked her that, she had almost no way of knowing and she doubted that her father knew.

Draka sighed and continued scratching his temple, "I thought maybe there had been fights you may have heard when you were younger about it. Or maybe you can tell me if you were able to do anything that seemed to be a complex spell just by thinking it. That would indicate the same thing." He spoke trying to think of any other ways to narrow it down if the power was ingrained her her being not just learned.

"Ummm...." Brianna thought about. Her parent had always been good about keeping fights out of earshot with her. She knew they had them but eavesdropping was hard in their house. "Well I guess there was a few times that I was able to do things. Mostly when I was really scared though." She thought about it a little harder. "Yeah there was this one time at a sleep over. Well really it was a chance to scare the crap out of me really. But we were in this girls old barn there was about five of them. They locked me in the barn, creepy as hell and I got this really eery feeling. There were a ton of spirits in there too, none too happy. The five thought it was funny to lock me in and hear me freak out about. I don't know how I did it but I got them to go away. Made fun of for like ever at school." She shook off the memory of that night.
