Kyo slid to a stop behind Sypher. It took him a bit longer then he thought to have his lip sewn up again. "I'm here."

| Bird Sage | Onin | Ninjutsu | Sypher jumped a foot in the air and whirled on Kyo, glaring at him for surprising him. Mostly angry but it turned to shock as he realized he'd been crying and his face was wet, his eyes red and he couldn't talk. He put a hand to his mouth and jerked his head away, tears falling still "W-Well, lets....let's go." he managed and stalked off, heading for the gates. His stance was shaky and he wobbled as he walked, jabbing his toe into a rock. Sypher cursed violently and hopped on one foot for a moment. I'll protect this place HOME ...because its all I have...

Kyo was shocked that he actually scared Sypher, and it was the first time seeing him crying! "You ok Sypher?" He let loose a quick snicker as Sypher stumbed his toe but quickly stopped.

He pulled back the hood, showing his face, singed and covered in soot, then sneezed twice and moved up in line. His I.D. read as a Trader from the lands of Yu, and nothing on him would show otherwise. Even his chakra was as normal and complacent as any other civilians, a pale light blue. After waiting in line, he stumped to the front and waited for someone to check him in.

The guards at the gate were on high alert, orders from the Raikage had kept them vigilant for many a day now, and they checked each of the ID's presented for travel. Soon enough, one of the guards came to the man, skimming over the ID. The Lands of Yu weren't necessarily a location they received many traders from, and the man had a look which seemed that of a refugee, rather than a trader. A fishy fellow, but for the most part, the nearby sensor radioed that he was all in all, clear.
"So what're ya peddlin'? Either way, it looks like you're in the clear," the guard grumbled, as he waved the crew in. He'd send another guard to keep an eye on the group in a few minutes, likely.

The man smiled, and as he passed he said "I'm here to purchase actually. I just came through a forest fire on my way here, as you can probably tell. Burned my cart right up. Luckily I still have my cash, of course. I'll pick up a few trinkets, then slowly build up some revenue till I get back to my home. Maybe I'll see you later, have a trinket or two for ya." he smirked and continued on, making his way to the markets.

[☁] [☁] Sypher was a blur as he left the gates, giving the Anbu strict instructions to keep anyone from entering or leaving. He barely paused to inform them of anything but his rank alone was enough to make them nod. He was off again, racing through the gates to Suna.
