As the Shinobi advanced further into the forest, & the shadows crept closer and closer, Sarus's iron ball would be completely negated as the trees' magnetic tendencies ripped it apart. With the iron bits of sand relegated to the plants now, it was easy for the forest to dish out its main purpose. A cool breeze flowed through the area, chilling our heroes as the night turned blacker, strange as the canopy blotted out the stars. As they crept along the forest floor, bits of the old Outpost's precious building materials would surface, glowing oddly blueish against the blackened environment. Howaido had personally experienced this glowing rock previously, & it was too bad that the group had to go on without him, for without him, they would not know what its properities were.
The paths traveled would begin to converge now, with more & more of the trails becoming littered with the ancient looking ruins. It was colder here, almost too cold, & each ruin passed took its toll upon the group. Reaching a circular clearing, a single ray of moonlight spotlighted a dark formation in one of the glowing blue walls. As they all fully entered the clearing, the breeze would grow stronger, whipping wildly about them all with gale force winds. The ground had not gone unnoticed with this effect, as particles of normal sand, red sand, & the strange bluish sand that had fallen from the ruins whipped up into a terrible sandstorm of epic proportions. Hearing would begin to fade for some of the group, sight for others, taste for a few, smell for most, & touch for nearly all. (Pick 2 senses each. Out of the whole group, each sense must be covered) During this encounter, the large dark formation in one of the blue walls would move open akin to a door, revealing what would appear to be a delightful haven compared to the hell outside it.
((If you guys could all post in the mini-arc thread on whom has what sense deprivation, it'll make my next few posts a lot easier. Thanks!))

As Ganchou and San pressed on, Ganchou felt unnerved and uneasy. This forest was pure evil, he could feel it. After rounding a corner, Ganchou called out in surprise. There were Sarus and the Gennin, trooping along through the forest. S*** he thought. "Weren't you all leaving...?" He called, as they continued through the forest. Waiting for an answer, they entered the clearing. After the wind whipped up, the noise in his ears grew dull, then silent. His body tingled, then it's feeling faded. "S***! Everybody, inside!" He cried, grabbing one of the Gennin and diving into the ruins.

"San, come on where are you guys! I dont have much time here give me a lead." Howaido had arrived at blinding speeds, his stealth had improved over his visit to the foreign villages. He couldnt stay long though, his plan had a short amount of time for a complete succession rate.

San heard Howaido speak just as soon as the wind picked up. The gennin and sarus were soon to follow, but ganchou made a quick move and grabbed them into the ruins. The blue rocks and ruins where not inviting to San, but that was hardly helpable right now. Using the bonds golem, San spoke to Howaido directing them to the location.
"We are near the center, working our way into the ANBU outpost. If you remember the way here, get there. The forest seems to be acting the same way, so be careful. Im going to follow Ganchou and the gennin inside, as Ganchou grabbed them to keep them safe. But i dont like it...not one bit. What are the glowing rocks? What are the runes? Oh, and i killed our little blast element friend. Anything you remember from your fight that can help?"
Feeling his tounge go a little numb, San moved quickly to follow the other inside the base. Hopefully Howaido would aid them, like he usually did. This.....this was not good.....

"Last time I killed him he didnt die so be careful.... I guess Ill be there soon." Howaido summoned Gamatatsu and hid inside the toad shrinking him down, the two headed to the center of the forest with little trouble as he could guide and knew where it was. He didnt want to get too far into the range though, he stayed inside Gamatatsu on a tree branch for a moment watching and hoping he had no reason to watch.
(Ill just let you guys take it from there, tack me on in the order where ever.)

 Sarus Satetsu ❝ As they were dragged into ruins,Sarus was just glad that he wasn't stuck with them alone in a forest that disables his sand. As the darkness soon surrounded him, Sarus was slowly losing the smell of odd fragrance that was emanating from the forest. He blew a little of his breath up towards his nose. Nothing. Not only that, but he couldn't hear any strange noise either. He wondered if he was the only one that felt this way, but more importantly, where was everyone else? There was no time to panic. Sarus dashed forward, unsheathing his sharp black blade,Shuusui as he ran. He seen an opening, a door to be more specific. Though it was mysterious, he had no other choice. He dove into the door, hoping to meet the others there as well.

Silas was inside of the ruins and was looking around. Except everything was black, and he was trying to feel around but everything felt numb. He knew his body was moving except he couldn't feel it. "What the hell! I can't see, I can't feel. Is anybody here?!" Silas was a little freaked about what was happening but he waited for some sort of response.

after entering the building, Lucas placed four of the papers he'd made in a square formation around the group. he opened his book and began reading on what he was supposed to do. closing it with a snap he put it away in a hidden pocket and then began to perform handseals. soon a barrier materialized out from the papers joining together. it was a very quick process and the barrier while materializing looked very powerful. suddenly the barrier burst like shattered glass. those who could hear would hear a great boom then the sound of something similar to water rushing through a small opening. this sound was in fact a massive outflow of chakra from Lucas as he had no control over the barrier at this level of power. those who could see would see the barrier shatter suddenly with no obvious point of origin. then the shards would glow as they flew out in every direction and eventually dissipate into a fine blue mist that glowed similar to the odd stones in the area but with a slightly lighter hue. to those who could feel a wind could be felt rushing by them even though there really wasn't any wind. the wind would feel like sandpaper lightly brushing against their skin. also if a shard happened to pass and touch them they would feel very warm where it touched. to those who could taste there would almost emediately be a taste of tropical citric fruits in such quantity that it would taste as if the citric acids would burn a hole in their mouth. to those who could smell there would be a sulfurous smell quickly followed by the smell of flowers in springtime just after a light shower.

Lucas muttered to himself as he prepared more of the papers to be placed.

With everyone inside the room, the environment continued to rage, seemingly following the group to the inside, although the strength significantly dropped. The senses of those affected, though, remained deadened & would for quite some time. As everyone's eyes adjusted to the darkened interior, the glowing blue walls could be seen traveling further into a ruined part of the old outpost. For the moment at least, they would think the room & hallways as nothing but safe & secure, even as one or two of them would gain a very slight headache...
Travelling down the lone hallway in the depths of the earth, a normal non-blue hued octagonal room with a single torch in the center would greet their journey. Exactly 3 doors would be visible: the door to the north eminated a familiar sweet scent of flowers, the door to the east had clicking sounds behind it, & the door to the south had a roiling fog of a metallic flavor billowing forth from it. At the base of the torch, an impression of a spherical type sat within a very small blue hued pedestal.

Ganchou nodded at everyone as they came tumbling in. Getting up and looking about, he watched Lucas practice for a moment before shouting out, at an inappropriate volume, "Everyone all right? That was very odd!" He led everyone down the passage, calling out "Stay alert!" If no one moved or went the wrong way, he gently got them moving in the right direction. He'd noticed that he'd gone deaf and numb, and that some of them acted oddly or strangely in different ways, and surmised that something had messed with them, perhaps a poison. Once they entered the room, he called out "Alright, let's split up. Who can't do what, since I'm guessing you're all affected...?"

San alerted to Ganchou through sticking out his tounge at him and poking his finger at it. Taste wasn't too important here, so thankfully he wouldnt be too messed up. Seeing as his senses could still slightly aid him, he approached the room with the three doors.
Once he was in the room, he motioned wiht his hands as well as spoke to the others to relay orders and a plan of an attack, seeing as that was his true strength.
"Im going to take the room smelling good, because not only do i still have my sense of smell but i also have it in a very strong way. Those who can still hear, follow the clicking. Sarus, I think you should hit the metallic room. Everyone understand?"

Howaido watched what occured, they had gone inside. What worried Howaido was what he noticed on the way. They had crossed paths with the rock from before, if they had made any notion to touch or examine them they were in serious trouble. At this point he would do best to try and follow them from a distance. At the same time if he went in it was highly likely he might go into a room entirely himself. So he slipped into the door and looked into the dark to try and see if he could obtain their path.
