Ranulf shrugged his shoulder, "I suppose there is that," he thought a for a moment then asked, "Do the trees talk to you? Cause you seem to be able to see just fine after touching it like that," he put his hands up a bit defensively, "Not that I think it's weird or anything, just unique if that is indeed what you did ... " he trailed off and lowered his voice a bit he didn't want to ramble too much and have Miyra thinking he was insane stalker material or anything. That would be bad given that he was a teacher at the school.

 Miyra turned to him with a raised eyebrow and only managed to chuckle with a faint smile. "no. I can't speak to trees, interesting as that would be...no nothing like that." Miyra was looking for a way to describe it, which was somewhat difficult. "I don't really know how to tell you in a good way...I just touch things that are living and I can see through them. Everything they touch and feel I feel. Everything they see and hear, so do I. I could feel the trees roots down deep in the earth, they connected to others...and so on. I can literally see the path now, but only as a memory. Once I let go, poof. Darkness." She gave a small shrug and her smile faded.

angelmage99 Len took the picture and took note that this person had some relation to Devlin. What wasn't known is if was good or bad. Len then made a circle in the air to find out if Devlin would back the man up. "Speak into it. He'll hear you." The man said as he moved the dark orb towards him. Cody inched toward the orb. He coughed a little bit before he uttered "Man down, Delta foxtrot echo. Repeat, man down." Cody laughed and again began pulling his way toward the blade. His fingers dug into the soil and he struggled to breath.

Through the orb came a somewhat confused sounding voice. but the reply was from Devlin "Roger on the sit rep Unable to provide support. Speaking of which whiskey one what int he ******** kind of trouble you get into?" came a rather frustrated voice over the line

"Whiskey one - Tell this dude I'm supposed to be here!" Cody yelled, as he got closer he could feel his body begin to stabilize. He forced himself up to his knees. "He must think I'm some kind of threat obviously. I haven't got any papers to prove who I am since.." He coughed. "I died, fighting in Afghanistan!" Cody yelled, giving emphasis to the last half of the sentence. "If you'd be so kind as to inform him of his mistake I would be quite obliged. Over and out." Cody looked at the wizard as he finished his sentence. He glared with a smug look on his face.

 Jana walked softly through the forest taking in it's amazing sight, despite the darkness and death others would mostly see, she could appreciate it. she looked at Akira worried. "Akira, what's the matter? what's been going on...I know you haven't been telling me something." she squeezed his hand lightly, lovingly and whispered "You're eyes don't lie"

Jana half smiled, still worried and kissed him back softly at first but it then grew fierce. "Are you sure? I want to help you Akira." She put her arms around his neck and kissed his neck lightly. "Are you okay?"

Jana kissed his head and then cheek. "Does it ever hurt?" she asked him. She didnt know how to help him, and she was worried. "Let me know if there's anything I can do to help." she whispered in bis ear.

Jana grabbed his collar and pulled his lips to hers. "remember when I first met you?" she whispered in his ear. "I thought I was alone. I didn't want to feel anything. When I first kissed you I felt something I'd never known." Jana touched his face softly looking into his eyes wishing she could see why there were so locked up. "kiss me." she whispered again. He always seemed more relaxed when she was with him. For what reason she was never certain of.

"Ahh, where is it? I know it somewhere around here..."
The low, but distinctly female voice with just a hint of something foreign echoed somewhere in the middle of the forest. The source being a girl of medium height, with long black hair, slightly narrow, frighteningly acid-green eyes, and a faded map in one hand. Dressed simply in a black tanktop, lime green scarf, and faded jean shorts (reaching about mid-thigh) exposing her pale (already scratched) legs to the thorns and flora around her but keeping her cool in what she felt like was high heat. She ceased walking for a moment, looking around her and taking a bite out of the apple in her hand (the peel around the bite immediately began to turn brown and rotted-looking). It made no sense. She, Sayo, that is, was sure she knew where she was going. Yet somehow on her way to her new school she'd gotten lost in this silly forest (the sheer creepiness of the situation flying right over her head, much like the mosquitos who seemed to know better than to take a bite).
Sayo sighed, dropping her apple and kicking it away (It'd rotted away fully before it even hit the ground). What a mess this was becoming.

※Destiny Is Calling Me
The sound of music drifted down from one of the trees, followed shortly by the careful selection of buttons. The theme from a very popular game seemed to grow louder, as if the volume was being adjusted, or one was simply drawing closer. A quiet string of curses could be heard over the gentle sound of the device; someone was obviously displeased by something that had just happened. "Not another freaking Bidoof." this time the voice was louder and far easier to decipher. Hitting the the A button angrily, the blonde perched high in a tree reached up to brush his bangs from his face. Loud button mashing could be heard as he angrily navigated the digital world, another high-pitched tune rang out. He waited patiently, holding his breath, before grinning broadly. Finally, something other than that stupid little beaver thing! More button mashing occurred, and a short laugh of excitement could be heard as he emerged victorious. "Yes! It's about time." he wobbled on his branch, his happy tone immediately vanishing as he teetered back and forth before slipping and crashing heavily to the ground. His device fell away, and he landed flat on his back.
Staring up at the sky, a new, louder string of curses rang out in the forest. Scrambling to his knees, he finds the game easily enough; it was fine, or at least it felt fine. During the fall, he had lost his glasses, and so couldn't tell for sure. Closing the game and tucking it away in his pocket, he swept the ground with his palms in search of his glasses. Maybe coming out here had been a bad idea, but it had been the first place he hadn't seen any of the other students milling about in groups. Still cursing quietly to himself, he moved about quickly in the immediate area on his hands and knees.

Sayo flinched, hearing a faint sound of something hitting the ground with her slightly sensitive ears (Because not blaring an ipod at top levels does a body good), followed by a much louder string of curses. It sounded like it was coming directly from her left. Maybe... 5 feet? Hidden by a little bit of shrubbery. Sayo took a more crouchy stance, creeping over warily. Even if it spoke vulgar human language, she never knew if it could be some kind of flesh eating monster imitating human language. Or maybe she was just a paranoid ********. That would make perfect sense, too.
She made it through the bushes, but didnt see anything just yet... Sayo looked up. And to the sides. And all around. Nothing. Then she looked down. There was a blonde boy, cradling a handheld game system and groping around for something. Ahh. Right at her feet, a pair of glasses. That would explain it. She leaned down, picking them up, then slowly made her way over to him. She then crouched down to eye level, roughly.
"Hey, you okay?" she inquired, clumsily attempting to place the glasses on his face.
