C.J. smiled back, blushing, but still rather strong in the way he flirted. "Sounds like a plan, baby." he said with a wink and watching Misty strut away, he almost was hypnotized by the way she walked.
"YES!!!!"
Damn, kid. She's HOT.
"I know, right?!"

A few moments later, Misty walked back out of the changing booth. Her hospital gown hung over one arm, and her previous outfit hanging over the other. The jeans and jacket did feel better, but...she had to admit she liked wearing the other outfit too.
She walked back up to CJ with a smile and stopped next to him. The blush still lingering on her cheeks. "Alright then. I'm ready if there's nothing else you'd like me to try on."

C.J. smiled as he put an arm around her. "Now that's up to you, Mist'. I could do this all day, but I think we oughta get dinner first." he said before pulling her into a tender little kiss.
Dude, if I could get beyond this fourth wall, I'd give you a high-five.
"Ain't no thang, man. Who bad?!"
You Bad!! Now let's get you two some food so you ain't bad and hungry!

Misty smiled wider as he pulled her close to him. As he kissed her, her arms somehow found themselves wrapped around him as well. Had to admit, this was way better than her last few relationships.
She smiled as she pulled out of the kiss and looked up at him. "We'd better pay for these and head out then." she said quietly.

C.J. pulled back and chuckled. "Definitely would help, wouldn't it?" he asked as they walked up to the counter. Something about C.J. seemed a lot more calm and relaxed. Not really the hyper, butt-kicking, wise-cracking hellcat that was bouncing off the walls sending villains down the hall, but this was much more chill. This was C.J. the boyfriend.
Speaking of which . . . hey hero boy, we gonna go help Arell and Dundee?
"Arell's more than capable of breaking them out. He probably busted out, leveled the place and is on the way back with Kai and Dun' in a stolen helicopter."

Misty smiled as she walked up with him. As they got to the counter, she laid out her outfit, then the tags from the cloths she was currently wearing. She stepped back to let CJ pay for the clothes, then carefully put her hospital gown in the bag as well. The material might come in handy later on.
Slinging the bag over her shoulder, she waited for CJ, then took his hand as they walked out the door to find a good place to eat.

C.J. smiled as he put out the cash. It looked a little crumpled up, but it was there. The cashier gave him a raised eyebrow, but went on with it.
When they got out the door, he looked at her, holding her soft hand in his. Things just felt right to him.
"Well, whatcha in the mood for, hon?" he asked.

C.J. smiled. "Well, I think the last time I was up here with the guys, we went to this great little Chinese place in town. That work for y'all?" he asked. Well, maybe not CHINESE. I mean, but it was pretty close.
"Okay, okay, so it was Cantonese. This is AMERICA, not many people know the difference anyways!"
Suit yourself. I'd just be careful.

C.J. took the time to put an arm around her as they walked. "Sounds good. By the smell a' things, it can't be TOO far off from here." he said as they walked, a smile on his face that must have been two miles wide. He got the girl, defeated the bad guys . . . it must be good to be the hero.

"I believe they agree with you." Misty said as she leaned against him. A painful little smile on her face. "And....I think I know where we're going to now too."
The only restaurant up this way that was anything close to Chinese was just around the corner of the block. Second building. All you can eat. Just what she needed to (hopefully) calm the other two down.
Mh...she was going to have to find a way to fix that little problem. But for now. Food. And hugs.

C.J. sniffed the air. "Oooh yeah. This is that place." he said as they got around the corner and over to the building. He opened the door for her. "Well, bon appetit, sugar! This one's on me." he said as they walked in.

Misty smiled as he opened the door for her, and walked through the doors. This was definitely a much needed little break. And she loved the company she had.
