Gabrian hated this damned maze. Despite the fact he'd manages to reach the goal once, he still hated this damned place. So much so that he wasn't entirely sure why he kept coming back; or rather, he did know. He just wasn't sure it was worth all the humiliation of being run out of the jacking place all the time.
Still, no one would ever be able to say that he was a sore loser, since here he was again, just about ready to brave the place. Again.

Gabrian simply felt the need to stop and help it - after all, he wasn't as big of a jerk as he passed off as sometimes. Or... was this even the same imp anyhow? The demon wasn't even sure at this point. Alas, after helping the creature, he moved on.

You should feel high on life (even if your hearing weird noises all around you that sound like things that want to eat you.) Walking further along something blocks your pathway. It is large and...reminds you oddly of some huge stoney bolder. Only this one moves. It tells you that in order to get past you need to tell it a story or a riddle.. and if it approves it will let you pass. ( if you roll a 26-100 it will like your story and let you pass. If you roll a 1-25 though... well it will not like your story and your stuck in the first part of the maze, only to be chased out by something else. ) Thankfully, music seemed to work quite well with the otherwise fickle rock, and Gabrian had very little trouble advancing forward. He did, however, spare the giant bolder a glance as he passed, arching a brow at it as he pocketed the harmonica he'd used to play it the tune. Apparently, it seemed to like different instruments? The harmonica was just... easier to transport in this nightmare of a place really.

The creature gets around the maze somehow and chases you out. ) He was unsure what it was that alerted the creature behind the maze. Had he stepped on a twig? He'd been so... careful not to. Alas, this time, unlike a couple of other times, the creature made it around the wall and Gabrian swiftly decided that a retreat was needed. He'd tackle this place again some time later. Yeah.

Mei was unsure of how she felt about this course.. It felt as though they were like lab mice or something, searching for that cleverly hidden piece of cheese. Heaving a sigh, she decided to continue on anyways. Maybe something good would come out of it? Maybe? Maybe not..

Hesitant to continue on, the whining of the imp eventually weighs on Mei's conscience, obligating her to help to pathetic creature. "Alright, alright." Kneeling down, she plucked the small creature from the ground, pulling the splinter soon after. "There. Now.. Go find some shoes or something.." She shooed it with a wave like gesture, and continued on.

"Great.." A story or a riddle? Mei was good at making stories up, but only when she needed them most. "Uhh.. Once upon a time----OH HEY! WHATS THAT OVER THERE!" Shouting and pointing, she waited till its attention was off her, and made a run for it.

However, the flash of white was enough to reassure the ghoul that was DEFINITELY not the black dog. "AH JACK!" Not sticking around to see what it was, Mei hightailed it out of the maze.

"You suck," West said slowly, his level of eloquence as compared to the norm staggering. Too bad no one was around to witness it except for a dirty, lying imp.
"What's it to you, kid?" the thing said, resting its scheming little hands on its hips.
"'Mjusglad yadint doeet t'me." Coherency: off. "Di'this Professr'byrn put'chu guys in'eer jus'to steal money?"
"We don't steal, we receive gifts. Students see how unfortunate and sad we are and they give us gifts. And sometimes we take wallets from the stingy ones when they bend over to help us with the splinters." The imp waggled its eyebrows.
West rolled his eyes and continued further into the maze.
