User Image Roxy ate at her soup while Jenna talked. She figured the girl knew about her 'prince' and his ways. She her self said he was being 'Andy' and she knew what that meant. She hadn't meant anything bad about the girl. She was nearly done when Jenna mentioned the Sorcerer's apprentice. Roxy nearly choked and spat out her soup. She managed to swallow it down before coughing due to the agitation her throat had received.

"Wow....I never expected to hear something like that...." She managed to speak after her coughing ceased. She didn't think it was wrong or something, in general. Her own 'brother' portrayed a Greek god that liked both, and slept with both. She just never thought Andy would sleep with a guy. Then, her little mental train of thought came to a halt.

She had upset Jenna? But...she hadn't meant to. Honestly. She felt badly, no, horribly about that whole thing. Suddenly, like Jenna, she didn't feel so hungry after all. "I...I'm sorry Jenna....I didn't mean to insult you..." She apologized before trailing off. She sat there a moment, awkwardly, before getting up. "See you guys later..." She said before standing up and disposing of her trash.

Once that was done, Roxy headed out of the cafeteria, out to the courtyard where they could eat. It was barely dark out, and it made Roxy smile faintly. The other three had seen the soft side of her for a moment. A rare thing. Roxy might seem like a hardcore don't take crap kinda girl, but she didn't like upsetting other's unintentionally. It nagged at her when she did. All she could do was apologize and walk off. She wasn't good at that whole explaining what she meant and more feelings shared kind of thing.

"Its okay. My throat is feeling a little bit better." The words were a soft declination of the red head's offer, even as the smile that curled upon her lips silently thanked her for the kind thought. For the obvious concern for her situation, no matter the fact that Aquila couldn't rightly accept it without feeling some sort of disappointment in herself.

It was true that she hated the fact that the teacher worked her beyond breaking, despised the hateful words that he threw at her at every small failure. But it was those very things that caused her to train harder, to be better. If only to prove him wrong. While sympathy only served to prove that the abuse was warranted. A well cloaked patch of pity to sooth a hopeless artist as she struggled to do her best. She knew that the perception was somewhat twisted. Knew that it certainly wasn't the case when it came to Roxy. A girl that was probably more proud of her own talent than she was her own. But she couldn't help but think of it as that way. So she stayed silent as Roxy commented about her rough treatment. Almost thankful that she moved on to the subject of her recent hunt, and a little more so when Jenna came to rest at their table.

"Sure. There's always room." The answer to the girl's question came somewhat easily. She knew Jenna as well as any kid would know another that walked through the hall. By name, by sight, but not personally. She didn't know much about her besides the obvious fact that she didn't seem to like eating. Maybe even the fact that she had a eye for vintage chic. But beyond that...nothing to really claim that they were either friends or close acquaintances. Not that they walked in different circles or anything. More like...they didn't have that much reason to hang out. And because of that the relationship didn't have a chance to become deeper. Whatever the case she wasn't adverse to her company. It kinda seemed like she needed a break from her Aladdin anyway.

It wasn't long after that Robin Hood made the scene with his usual cheerful swagger. His food of choice, steamed carrots, wafting a naturally sweet scent as he and his tray slid next to her. The lingering smile creasing deeper as she accepted his greeting and gave her own Aquila took another sip of her tea. The still warm brew dropping a warm spot in the pith of her stomach as she thought of her table companions. The group hadn't really fit into her idea of a peaceful moment alone but she could certainly deal with that. As a matter of fact she felt a little bit better for the interruption...or she did until Jasmine dropped the dime on Aladdin's current happenings.

It was a miracle that her instant sputtering hadn't sent her healthy swallow of tea upon that table in front of her, and it was only with the barest sense of manners that she quickly attempted to cover her reaction with a light clearing of her throat. A feat that well and truly deserved a award considering the fact that she almost fell into the same coughing fit that Artemis had just recovered from as the rebelling fluid burned her sensitive throat on the way down.

Aladdin was.....doing the...'nasty'...with the Sorcerer's Apprentice? Well, that was.....it was...somewhat surprising?

Aquila raised her mug to her lips again. This time in the attempt to avoid having to respond verbally than any thought to general pleasure or comfort. On principal Aquila wasn't against anyone with that sort of lifestyle. Why should she be? What they decided to do on their own time was their business and theirs alone.

But what should she say to a girl that just found out that her on again off again ******** buddy decided to turn tail....literally. Nothing that's what. Or at least nothing that wouldn't be painfully rude. A fact that became even more clear as Jenna expressed her hurt at Artemis's blunt words.

"Ouch! Not so violent. I hate it when you play rough with me."

Steve teased Roxy when she kicked him under the table. That smirk still on his lips. He listened to the girl's talk and was surprised to hear that Andy had started batting for the other team. Part of him was a little creeped out that he might become a target for the boy's interests, but part of him was also relieved that he wouldn't want to take interest in Roxy. That had always been a fear of his, some a** hole would try and take her purity, win her over. He wouldn't let that happen.

"I'm sorry to hear that Jenna, Want me to talk to him?"

The words came out before he knew he was saying them. but then the girl gave him her salad and he was extremely happy. She shrugged giving a little nod and Steve knew that he did have a task after all. After the salad was gone, Jenna spoke up, telling Roxy the her words had been hurtful, that made even Steve cringe. Roxy never liked to hurt people and he could tell she had no intention of being mean. at least not to Jen.

The red head got up and walked outside, He had to follow, it was dark out, and the girl was on of his best friends.

"Evening ladies. Jenna, I'll talk to Andy later okay? What he's doing isn't fair to you."

With that Robin hood got up from the table, leaving his empty tray , and he ran after Roxy, finding her milling around in the twilight. He approached quietly, sneaking up behind her, then without so much as the sound of a breath or the rustle of his clothing, he grabbed her from behind, putting his arms around her upper arms, hugging her tight against his chest.

"Hey, Cheer up."

He whispered into her ear, grinning.

User Image Roxy had been walking along on the grounds, staying in the clearing so she could examine the moon easily. Well, what was visible of the moon. At the moment it was a crescent. She was pretty sure it was a waxing crescent. Either way, it was the symbol of Artemis at the current moment. Something that made her sigh.

Sure, she loved being Artemis, but it could sure be frustrating as hades sometimes. Always having to be this tough girl. Never getting to be intimate with guys. She'd watch some of the couples around the school that you could tell the matches were perfect. She wanted that. She wanted some guy who could sweep her off her feet. Plant chaste kisses on her lips. The whole nine yards. But no. And it pissed her off to see some people throwing that aspect away. Andy and Bridgett, and it seemed as if Tink would end up that way before too long. She just despised the mentality of those who were promiscuous. She also felt bad for their counterparts.

Roxy didn't intentionally hurt Jenna. If anything she was frustrated at herself for not phrasing her words differently. However, that wasn't in her nature. She usually said what she wanted, and that was that. Her thoughts on that matter were instantly distracted as a pair of arms closed around her torso and she was hugged against someone. Roxy was about to knock the arms off of her and turn around to face her attacker and beat the crap outta them. It was really stupid to try and restrain her, she didn't put up with crap, especially from men. She could tell it was a guy holding her by the look of the arms that were around her. However, once she heard the voice, she relaxed. It was just Stephen.

"I'm trying..." She replied to him. Roxy turned her head to look at him and she gave him a tentative smile. This was another reason why she had a love/hate relationship with Robin Hood. He could be incredibly sweet to her for a time, when they weren't competing to be the top archer. Roxy noticed that she rather enjoyed the feeling of his arms around her, and she instantly blushed. Being a redhead, it was intensified on its own. She bit her lip, trying to make the heat recede from her lips, but it wasn't an easy task.

Martin had been lucky since Bridgett hadn't really noticed him as he passed by. Hooray him! Unfortunately, he didn't find Belle in the library. When he checked his watch for the time, he realized he was late for dinner. "Hmm, guess she's there...maybe," he muttered. He left quickly and headed towards the cafeteria with a bounce in his step. For some reason, he was really hungry tonight.

He got himself a turkey sandwich and picked up a second sandwich for Sierra. She should like PB&J right? Everyone liked that. Maybe he should have asked her what she wanted before leaving earlier...and where was Ryan for that matter? Did he already get dinner and get to Sierra? Arg, they really should have thought this through a little more.

He'd gotten his meals in separate paper bags and checked throughout the cafeteria for either Belissa or Ryan. Instead, he passed by a table with several other goodies who revealed a very very interesting fact. Andy was gay? Seriously? And then Roxy kinda put her foot in her mouth. That wasn't cool at all. But then she and Robin Hood left the table and he was standing there looking awkward. "Umm, excuse me ladies," he started, "would either of you happen to have seen Ryan or Belissa today?" He honestly felt bad for Jasmine for having a guy like that, but what else could he do? Admitting to the fact he was listening (when he really shouldn't have been) wouldn't help her any.

Odd now that he thought he heard a laugh in the background, but a subtle look around revealed no one to be laughing.

He liked the two girls actually. Aquila was a very nice girl with a lovely singing voice. He hadn't talked to her very much, but from what he was able to gather, most people liked her. Jenna seemed to be having a rough time at school, but well, he'd never asked (what it's not like they hung out a lot). It wasn't that he didn't want to help, but he already had enough crap to deal with on his own. He wasn't sure he wanted to know anyway. That was the thing about depression; it sucked you in and turned you into a hollow shell of who you were and took every surrounding person down with it. He also wasn't sure if she really wanted to be helped or not.

Well no matter. Not his business anyway. Right now, he just wanted to know about Apollo and Belle and then head on down to see the Wicked Queen.

Andee exited the theatre after her class and headed back to her dorm for a nap. She wasn't necessarily tired, it was just something to pass the time until dinnertime. On the way to her dorm, she was tempted to knock on Sierra's door and see if she wanted to chat. However, it seemed as if the Wicked Queen was already entertaining a crowd. Odd. Sierra usually kept to herself. The only one Andee could see the girl calling a friend was that Marcel, the devil.

It was just...odd...to see guys outside Sierra's door, and male voices coming from within. Not that she could make out what was being said, the walls muffled that much. Andee would have to get to her chat with Sierra after dinner, and maybe once the crowd died down. With that thought, Tink opened her dorm door and headed inside to her bed.

Andee tried sleeping on her bed, but it just didn't work out. So, she laid down on the floor, flat on her back. Surely enough within a few minutes, she had begun to doze off. After an hour or so, she woke groggily to see the sun was nearly set, and to hear her stomach grumble.

With that realization, the little girl hopped up and headed down to the cafeteria, her heels making a clicking sound as she walked down the halls. Before too long, she had made her way to the cafeteria and was in line. Andee got herself a hamburger with lettuce and tomato and pickles and french fries.

Oh, Yay! There was Jenna. The two of them were some of the smallest girls in the school. Jenna more for her slim physique, Andee due to her lack of height. As it was, she was four inches shorter than her friend when she didn't wear heels. Andee made her way to sit next to Jenna. "Hey girlie!" She said in her normally cheerful tone. It was then she noticed that Jenna was sitting with Aquila. "Oh, Hi Aquila!" She said just as cheerful to the other girl as she sat down.

After a moment, she saw the long face on her friend. "Jenna....What's wrong? What did I miss?" She asked, concerned, before she took a fry and munched on it. .

After going though the dinner line Ryan had in his possession two trays of food, one for himself and one for Sierra. They were identical, both trays contained the exact same things. The nerd carefully balanced one tray on each hand and made his way out of the cafeteria. He walked slowly but carefully down to Sierra's room stopping when he got to the door... He heard voices, should he interrupt? No, that would be rude... He should just leave the tray by the door and go eat some where else. Sierra probably had enough of him for one day any way. Ryan set the tray down and walked on, back to his own room, he would eat there then do some studying. Maybe he could practice guitar a little bit? Quietly though, if someone was sleeping he would feel bad.

Ryan quietly made his way back to his room, setting the dinner tray down on his desk. He would eat it later. The ginger picked up his guitar and strummed his thumb over the strings lightly. It hummed pleasantly and he smiled. Ryan's smile was wide and goofy, but it was always heartwarming. She stumbled a few chords and hummed a little, crossing one leg under him as he sat down on his bed. He wondered what the people in his hall were up to, how Eph was, how Marty was, how Roxy was, he felt bad for leaving her like that now.

The sound emanating the the guitar grew louder as Ryan forgot to be quiet. He started to sing, most of his songs were about science or complicated theories. Or his favorite history. He loved writing songs to help him remember history.

As Stephen followed Roxy's exit Aquila found herself alone with Jenna. She could almost feel the awkward atmosphere closing in around the table. A feeling that was mostly on her part as she struggled to find something to say. Or at least something to do.

She couldn't leave. The action would speak of avoidance. Like the girl was some kind of festering plague or a dirty rag she didn't want to touch. It wasn't her fault that her impending news made her....slightly embarrassed to hear it. Sex talk of any sort just wasn't her thing. Especially when that talk involved said former ******** buddies deciding they liked flat chests a little bit better. A small grimace came upon her face as the thought presented its self within her mind. If this was the way she felt and it wasn't even her prince...then how was Jenna feeling?
Probably betrayed. Maybe angry. Upset? If that was the case then she certainly couldn't just not say something. But what? What could she possibly say? Especially at this point when the silence had lengthened for so long that it went past simple awkward situation to 'I just might bury myself just to avoid you' parameters. Whatever the case she would have to say something quick. Her quick excuse for not talking was slowly becoming redundant. And she could almost taste the bitter dregs of her tea as it reached its end. There was no going around it....she would have to say something.

Finally putting down the mug Aquila spoke, "Jenna....its..."

As she began she struggled with the wording. What? Its....okay? Nothing about this was okay. And the fact was obvious when she looked at the expression on the other girl's face. It hurt her. There was no mistake about that. So pitiful woulds like 'okay' just wouldn't cut it right now.

"The thing with Andy...is...kinda...."

Crappy? What a great word to use. Just fantastic. It fits the situation perfectly. Don't you think? I mean, its only the guy she had made some kind of connection with deciding he liked guys. Not a big deal at all. Totally not cool...but she would get over it in time. Kinda like when you gum up your favorite shoe.

'I should have just left when I still had a chance....and a bit of my dignity'

But she hadn't and it was too late now. And at this point she was determined to say something...if anything at all. She was about to try again when she was interrupted by way of The Beast asking for his friends direction. She felt almost guilty that she was relieved at the fact. She had a feeling that her next brilliant turn of phrase would have been a dud.

"I haven't seen Belissa or Ryan all day. Sorry. Um...but I did see Roxy if that helps?"

Where Roxy had been Ryan was usually near by. It never really failed. It was a small tip but the only one she could really give at this moment...considering her mind with still swimming with thoughts of what to say to the depressed girl. Martin's departure was too quick for her liking. A brief destraction that was a little bit too brief. And it wasn't until he had left that she realised that she could have used that as a excuse to cut free from the tread of conversation completely. A thought that deepened her guilt on the fact that she even considered it in the first place. Knowing she had dittered over the conversation for too long now, Aquila just jumped in. Regardless of the conseqenuces.

"Listen. The situation with Andy is not...ideal. In fact it probably hurts alot. I can't claim to know...but it must." Aquila said as a slight frown made its way upon her face. A clear indication that she carefully considered everything she said, " But getting upset about it...isn't going to help you."

In fact it would probably make it worst. That's what happened when you linger on situations that will never change. In the end its still the same, no matter how much you harp on it, " If Andy stays Andy...he'll get bored sooner or later. Maybe he'll regret it and never speak of it again. Everything will just...fall into place and go back to normal."

A fact that had to be decided as good or bad. Most girl's had a love/hate relationship with him. Most guys hated what he did on principal. And others...well others just tolerated him at a far distance. A category that she was happily a part of before this decided to plop in her lap. But this was no time for more self pity. Wasn't she just saying something?

"Or...maybe things won't. I don't know. And Andy's probably not even sure what he's doing either. Whatever the case...don't get all worked up over it, okay? Things like this...usually work themselves out on its own."

As luck would have it Aquila finished what she had to say just as Tinkerbell made her way toward the table. Her hand raising in a small wave in greeting even as her lips fell shut. If Jenna wanted to tell Andee about the situation with her Aladdin then she would tell her. That was something for her to decide.

Steve would have said something else but there was just enough light out for him to see that Roxy was blushing... Not what he meant to do! She hadn't elbowed him or flipped him like he had thought she might... she was just standing there like he was hugging her or something. No! This was suppose to scare her. He quickly dropped his arms and took a step back forcing a cough. One hand went to the back of his neck, and the other went to his back pocket, he looked down at his shoes and tried to think of something to say to keep this easy.

"Well... Try harder, and quite blushing at me like that, it's creepy ya little perv. "

The boy smirked and let the hand on his neck fall to his side. Roxy was never going to be a target of his affections. She was different from the other girls, she was untouchable. Not like Aquila... That girl was very touchable... The outlaw let him mind drift, he should really spend more time with her. She was beautiful, smart, sexy.... Pretty... Steve glanced back at the school, then looked to Roxy. Pale, flat chested, muscular, Roxy. Not that he enjoyed comparing women but if he had a choice, Aquila would make a much more suitable dinner companion.

"You friend's with Aquila?"

There we go, leading this conversation somewhere he might actually be able to use. Steve pointed a thumb back at the school and then crossed his arms over his chest. He looked stronger, fitter, when he stood like that.

"She's... Man, she's gorgeous. Do you think I've got a chance?"

Not that he really cared what the forever virgin goddess of sex hate had to say about it in the long run. It was more a chance of topic that he needed right then.

User Image Roxy narrowed her eyes at Stephen when he called her a perv. Actually, it pissed her off. "I was blushing because you caught me off guard...What? Did you think it was because I'm attracted to you? Pft..In your dreams Archer Boy..." She retorted before poking him in the shoulder. It was true that she had blushed because he had managed to sneak up on her. Or, at least that was what she convinced herself of.

Aquila? Why would he ask her that? Hmm. That actually stumped Roxy a bit. She figured that it was because he liked her, or something. Maybe he just wanted to change the subject. "I can't honestly say that I'm a friend of hers." Roxy replied. It was true. She rarely talked to the Mockingbird. Subconsciously, she crossed her arms across her chest, just like he had. Although her cleavage was a bit in the way. Roxy wasn't flat chested for a tall girl by any means. Sure, they weren't huge, but they weren't non existent either.

"I wouldn't notice, cause I don't look at girls that way. And I have no idea...Ask her if you really want to know..." She said tersely, almost sounding upset rather than curt. Roxy really didn't want to talk about possible courtships for him. It didn't appeal to her to help play matchmaker in any way. "Don't you have..like...a Maid Marian or something?" She asked out of slight curiosity and she tried to refrain from sounding bitter.

Hood always did this to her. Sometimes she just couldn't stand him. The tension between the two was nearly always evident. At least the tension made sense. They were both vying for the top spot. The title of best archer. Something Roxy wasn't planning on losing at. No matter how long it took, or how much she had to work. Plus, she was a bit envious of his talent. She had been working on archery for as long as she could remember, but he had only started a few years ago. Yes, she had natural talent as well, she just kind of saw it as it came easier to him than to her. Something she did not like at all.

Sierra raised an eyebrow at the increasingly annoying King. Good Lord, were all royal people that annoying (and yes, she included herself in that question)? She inwardly heaved and gave a sharp smile. "I'm sure I don't know what you mean." It was more than annoying to deal with someone as manipulative as she was. It was more irksome to deal with someone who could think like her and believe he could trap her.

Something that Schraeder seemed to have forgotten was that if they were truly so alike, he should have watched his mouth. If she had felt threatened, she'd have gone straight to the authorities and handed him over on a silver platter. If he dared threaten her, she would watch him burn in flames. Paranoid much? Maybe, but you didn't get far in life without developing a sense of pessimism. In this case, paranoia was certainly in her best interests.

"A general piece of advice: do not make assumptions. They're more trouble than they're worth." Her smile became more of a smirk. "Considering we come from similar mindsets, think on your actions. Whatever they were and are, it would be wise to remember that I would react similarly." Her predatory eyes seemed to grow a steely green. She did not care for these types of mind games with Schraeder. Either he would open up and work with her (and there was importance in who worked with whom) or they would part ways and work individually.

After all, she didn't really need him for her plans. She'd have liked it, but if he was going to continuously mock her and underestimate her, then no. It was better to leave it unspoken and continue working in private. "Ask what you will and I may answer." Sierra realized she was getting a bit more snappy than she would have in normal conditions (then again, today was very abnormal). A subtle glance at the clock revealed that it was already dinner time. So much had happened, and in only so small a day...

Now she just had to get through the evening.

Stetson Schraeder
The King of Thieves

Despite her sharp tone and the hefty threat behind her words, the more Sierra spoke, the wider Schraeder's smile grew, until when she finished he was trying to withhold a snicker.

He threw a glance over at Marcel, his mouth twisting and turning as he tried to stop smiling. "It's a good thing I like you guys," he said mirthfully, rubbing his chin. "I have a feeling we're going to be in for a long, loooooooong haul." He followed Sierra's glance at the clock and realized what time it was.

"Are you guys hungry? Because I could eat, and it appears that you guys know more people here than I do. I swear, it feels like we get new people every other day." He raised an eyebrow. "So, what about it? If not, I guess I can just go eat with Bianca. In fact, I might do that anyway. But we should probably start rolling together, no?"

Normally he didn't talk so much, but he was suddenly filled with a very strange optimism, thanks to Marcel's little talk. He hadn't dared to feel this way in quite some time - in fact, since he had gotten his letter from the Academy. He briefly thought back to the old days, when he had been his own kind of king, and ruled the streets his way. Now, they were forcing a different role on him?

Not on Stetson Schraeder. He was the King of Thieves, and he would make them bow down, no matter that they had given him the title in the first place.

MARCEL J. CASSILEN

Knowing that his friend's feathers were ruffled Marcel couldn't stop the small smile that slowly made its way over his face. It was rare that Sierra allowed her emotions to show. And even rarer still that she gave voice to them. And he had to admit that he enjoyed the small moments when and if they came...no matter what it may be. Well, especially when she was irritated. There was just something about the way she flayed into a person that was just entertaining.

Rotating his stiff left shoulder until it gave a satisfying pop he stood up and walked over to where his discarded tea cup sat. His motives clear as he walked toward her sink and poured the now cold brew down its pipes, making sure to flush it with a sure stream of water. Washing out the cup as well Marcel then walked back toward them to put the cup back in its rightful place, the whole while answering the King's query, "I could eat something."

A easily put statement if there ever was one. Since he had missed breakfast and only had a small bowl of pasta salad for lunch, his stomach was now calling him on it. The muscled mass pulling tight in the quest to alert its owner of its empty state. If it kept up as it was now then it would soon call loud enough for all to hear, “ You up for some food?”

This question was directed toward Sierra. The question not only asking if she were in fact hungry, but if she would like him to pick something up for her if she was. He knew that her feet still weren‘t up to par and as such she really shouldn‘t be walking on them so soon. But he also knew that in the end only she could decide whether she was ready to walk around or not. Though he was concerned about her well being he was by no stretch of means her caretaker….

“I know you must be tired.”

….though he would heavily suggest that she rest for a little while. After seeing even the little bit of damage done to her feet he couldn‘t help but imagine what would happen if she took a fall. Her footing was unstable as it was considering she needed a cane to walk. What if she lost her balance and hurt herself further? If he wasn't in the right place to catch her when it happened?
