The Capital
Dark smiled at Mayumi, she was truly a wise choice for him to make his second. He leaned back a bit relaxed, he felt his body began to heal itself, the wounds on himself were disappearing. Soma would have to meet Daton in order to receive this curse, but it was a step in becoming a General. "People either gather around the strong because they fear them or they want to become stronger, the five Generals are not stronger then Daton so we desire strength." He said rather calmly, it was the truth of the matter. He wanted to be stronger, if he had been stronger twenty years ago, he might have been able to save Soma's mother.

Keishiro paused in his step. If he went right to Daton, he might get yelled at. He didn’t fear the man, no he admired him. Daton had power and power was what Keishiro respected. He looked to Dark, that woman from before, she was one of Dark’s now right? He shrugged and shoved his hands in his pockets while he tried to decide what to do. Blake came up behind him and the two were silent for a long time. “Have fun? “ Kei could only laugh and looked at the woman as his hands fell behind his head.
“Ah yah know love. A little of this and a little of that. I got to play a game of tag in fact.” But that wasn’t his worst problem. If he went to Dark then the other would be able to read his mind right? Not that it mattered because he could change his plan any time, thus was the gift of premonition. However he didn’t know how far that gift went. Rolling his eyes he decided to interrupt the little party. “Sorry to interrupt your time with the gals there Dark, but I gotta question for you!” He called. The distance was short but he didn’t want to get to close, the future at this moment in time was black when he looked at Dark, so of course he didn’t want to get close.
Blake rolled her eyes and hit Keishiro in the back of the head before walking off. Such childish games were beneath her.

Sheena had looked at Kira for a moment, she wanted to thank her for sticking up for her when she didn't have to. It was a trait that Sheena admired in another person. She was a meek woman by nature, but would give her life to anyone who was in trouble. But, when she saw the hard look in Kira's eyes, she turned her gaze away.
She was completely out of her element, so much power around her, she felt overwhelmed. She then listened to the young woman who sat next to the red haired man. She then bowed her head low, "I...I came seeking help..."
She then raised her head to look at the young woman more clearly, "Both of my homes have been destroyed, both on land and in the sea. My Mother brought me here as a child because there was danger in the sea. My Father on land took care of me until he hid me away from an attack. In both cases, I fear that I am the only survivor..."
Sheena tried to get a grip on her emotions. She was terrified of what to do now. She knew that a dark man was after her secret, and that she couldn't go it alone. "I...am afraid. I am a half-maiden. Half human, half sea maiden. Someone was searching for the secrets of the Sea Maidens...and by recent events...I believe I am the only one who carries on those secrets. I know not who is after me, and I am frightened, but I do not wish to run any longer. I also know, that I cannot face this alone. I came looking for someone to help me. Sea maidens are not fighters...I can barely bring myself to harm someone who has wronged me. I...am willing to do anything, in order to keep my race's secrets, from falling into that man's hands..."
Her shoulders were trembling as she spoke those words. She then took a step back, "Though...I have done a wrong by you. I did not mean to attack those men...my Mother's pearl was protecting me," she had tears glistening in those rippling eyes, "Please, I will give up everything and anything, to make up for this."

Hokyo raised a eye brow at Sheena, but was stopped when Ameena placed a hand on his own, he sighed a bit and Ameena smiled kindly. “Who destroyed both of your homes?” she asked with concern on her face, if anything Ameena hated death for no reason. She smiled kindly at the woman, she did have concerns for her men, but they were all understanding people. “No need, let us help you.” She spoke calmly taking a sip from her cup.

Sheena's eyes widened at the young womans concern. She was certainly surprised since the man who sat beside her was cruel towards the other women. She bowed her head slightly to Ameena and then she rose her gaze to meet the young woman's, "A man possessing dark powers. I know not his name, nor have I seen his face, but I have sensed him. It's so dark...and the magnitude of the power overwhelms me. All I know, is that he is after the secret of the Sea Maidens..."
She sighed and a small smile graced her lips, "Thank you, kind lady. You have my word that in exchange for your help, I offer my services to you. I know not of what you may need, but I can heal the injuries I may have caused those men..." she then turned to the red headed man for a moment before returning to Ameena, "Thank you again...the secret will now be safe from him. I know that he did not get it from the other maidens, otherwise, he would not be searching for me. Again, I thank you, both of you."

The priests of Esta were mostly planted there by Daton as a huge conspiracy to use the temple's religious influence over the people. And so when Esta was taken over by the Red Rebels, most of them have fled, except Evan. There were words that true priests would later come as missionaries to take care of the now lost people of Esta, but it was only a rumor. For now, Evan was the lone priest of the temple, and the people's spiritual needs were immense in this time of transition. Not even his title as the "Tainted One" seem to phase the people away from him.
After a long day of confessoins, Evan walked out, sighing when he noticed the young oriental, Bandi, walking towards him. "Well now, don't tell me you're in need for a confession, brother. I'm really weighed down by the sins of the city enough today."

Sci slowly rose from snide's shadow." I dont know who you are but your not going to be leaving with those details. Its something I just cant allow you to do. Im being paid to help these people and I havent been told just how to handle these kinds of things. I could kill you.. Or maybe devour your soul. I cant decide." Sci was talking to distract snide but he smiled as he removed the notes from snides possession." Or I could just take these notes and beat you till you have no memory of this day at all."

Hokyo Cumen
The Capital
Dark glanced at Mayumi, a smile spread across his face. “Yes you are right I am formal around Lord Daton, I am one of the Five Pillars, I need to appear so in front of the people. Otherwise they may think we are weak and attempt to kill our Lord.” He looked towards Soma for a moment, but ignored Rena he felt it was a good thing. “Do you know why strong people gather around Daton Mayumi?” He asked rather interested in her answer.
Soma laughed at Rena, of course he was actually enjoying himself for once, but he wasn’t sure how he felt towards Daton as of yet, he felt hatred towards Hokyo this he was sure of. His hand twisted around his sword and looked at Rena with a bright smile. “Actually really powerful, I haven’t felt weak once since I got here.” He said, which was true in the woods he was not a powerful person, but here he was stronger for some reason.
Rena smiled at Soma as he laughed with her. She felt he was more relaxed now then when he was in the woods and she could indeed feel him getting stronger just by his presence around her. "well thats a very good sign" she said gently looking at Soma "means the training is working and your body is becoming stronger already" she said again looking at him. She noticed how his hand twisted around his sword. She wondered what was making him a little angery perhaps but she wouldn't ask. "So have you found out what you came here to learn?" she asked as she sat down next to Soma. She crossed her leg over and the slit in the dress placed itself just above her crossed knee. i always have to wear a dress for training. .hmm should really change that she thought to herself as she looked in front of herself. She rested her sword right next to her her hand rested on it gently.

Snide turned around quickly and snatched the notes away from Sci. Snide then backflipped away from him. "I'm sorry to inform you, but these notes are my possesions. If you want them, you have to kill me or disable. But your first challange is to catch me." He informed Sci with a smirk. He stood there waiting for the next move.

Kira's wide, quick strides began to slow as she saw the other woman beginning to slow herself. Soon, she came a leisurely walk, and she brushed away the stray hair that had been forced out of her bun when she had been running.
She turned to the blonde and listened intently, and when she had said all she had to say, the thief realized she found she was once again feeling out of the loop. All this talk of reincarnation, past lives, magical healing and evil dictating heads of government was almost too much for her simple personality to handle.
She took in a deep breath, and let it back out after holding it in for a moment's time. "Well," She started, "I suppose reincarnation isn't something shocking to me. But, I've never really thought about it too much," She answered. Then she found herself in a strange situation. Even though she believed that reincarnation was in fact a possibility, how was she to begin believing in all of this woman's visions and sensory issues dealing with the dead and long gone?
She sighed, and placed her hands on her hips as she walked casually through the wood with this woman. She looked up with a feint smile, and tilted her head back to look up into the trees, the small opening allowing her to look up into the sky.
"I don't see why I shouldn't believe you," She said to the woman, "I mean... I feel different than all of these people i've seen today. Different in many ways, and so I suppose it wouldn't surprise me if you really had known that red head before," She said before her head tilted back down, and she looked over at the woman.
"See, I'm just a simple kind of person. I'm rude, I steal, and I hang out with a little toy for my own companionship," She said with a chuckle in her tone. Yes, she was poking fun at herself in a way, but at the same time, she was being as serious as she could possibly be. She was being completely truthful. She had no magical healing attributes or sense of the dead. She was just a simple minded thief.
The little toy had felt his small body tense up as soon as they had entered the house. The feeling it gave off made him squeamish, and he would love to have just left without a second thought, but he knew he had to stay here, and so he forced himself to stay at the woman's side.
After she'd called the witch out of hiding, and the man appeared, he could feel his fluffed body puff out slightly. This was something his body naturally did when he got angry or felt threatened. Sort of like a cat or a bird would. He stared on at the man, and if he could have, he would already have been throwing curses in his direction, and ready to beat the life out of him. But, here he was, a toy without so much as a voice.
When the witch had sat his new friend down and asked him to come over, he mustered all of his emotions up, and just went for it. He made his way quickly over to the man and sat on the counter crossing his arms over his chest. He turned his head away and scoffed to himself. He didn't want to look at the witch, he didn't want to hear the witch, he just wanted this done and over with.

Yunari gave a little laugh and crossed her wrists behind her back. “ I know it’s weird, but there are more things out there than even I know about and well, I know a lot.” She knew of people like Kira, people who never had encounters with the supernatural, well except for witches and all. But still she could write books and books on the things she had seen. She would leave it be for now and instead chose to simplify things and maybe allow the other woman in a little. “Humans are born with the simple abilities, such as being able to read someone from either their face or their heart. Where as I can read someone’s over all aura, or soul I guess you could say, you were given the ability to read faces am I right?”
That was a safe assumption. In order to lie to people you would have to know a lie when you saw one right? So it was just a case of who was better at hiding their true selves. But in a sense she found that the skills of a thief were almost like magic, you had to train hard and work hard to be good right? She looked to the sky and then down to the ground. But then she had time to register what the woman beside her had really said. She shook her head and lifted one hand, one finger extended as if lecturing. “You may be rude at times, but you protect those who you think need it. Like that girl back there. She wasn’t to good at standing up for herself but you did it for her. Who needs magic and such when you have the skills that people would die for. You can’t heal, but I can’t sneak around quietly or even come close to your level of confidence. To me, what you have is magic.”

Kohikri rolled his eyes at the toy’s actions. A creature comes to him for help and then acts like this? Well he kind of took that as a challenge. He did not touch the creature but he leaned in and examined him, his eyes seemed to be looking at something invisible to the naked eye but not to this man. He waited a few seconds before reaching forward and crabbing a hold of something, like a thin string or such, but it was a band of words. He shook his head and then stood. “What you’re asking Ray isn’t impossible. It’s just difficult. It looks like this guy really pissed someone off because this is a heavy curse if I ever saw one. It’s got layers and layers of incantations, even a counter if someone was to try and remove it the wrong way.”
The man turned around and began to rummage around his cupboards and such. Suddenly remembering he moved to the ice box and opened it. With a grin he reached in and removed a rather large book. He moved over to the counter top and flipped it open. He began to look through pages and pages of things before stopping and grinning. “It will take some time to remove the curse, and it is strong so giving him voice would be difficult as well, but the curse is weaker at night. I can weaken I a bit more but this guy will only be able to talk at night. I think that is a good starting point.” He looked to Ray and she tilted her head a bit before placing her hand to her chin.
“And how long do you think it would take for you to give him back his true form?” She crossed her legs. She figured these were questions that the little creature would ask if he could speak so she asked for him.
“Well it’s difficult to tell, because of the nature of the curse, but starting with his voice alone, a couple of days. Then maybe I could give him his form at night. After that I’m not sure how to permanently return him to his form. I’ll know once I get started though.” He looked down to the plush and leaned down. “Who did you piss off? She must have been one of the Talva coven. “ he shrugged and moved to the other side of the small kitchen with his book. “Well let us get started then.”

The Capital
Soma was not mad about anything, it was simply that the sword wised to be closer to him and he felt the same compassion. “Do you work for one of the Generals?” He found himself asking, as his father had told him that he was allowed to pick his second, though he knew one man was going to remain in his current position as second from Hokyo’s time, he had hoped that he might be able to pick a new one. “Yes, I found Dark was my father, at least that is what Lord Daton and him believe, Hokyo being the one that killed my mother.” He said this time his hand gripped his sword tightly out of anger towards the red haired. Dark heard Kei’s voice and glanced up from Mayumi, looking towards the other man; he was keeping his distance but why? Dark had always seen Kei be a up and personal type of man and the fact that he returned meant he had spoken with Hokyo and Dark wanted to know what he had said. “What is it Kei?” He asked loudly, he wasn’t going to push the man into coming over to him, but he wanted to read him if he got the chance.
Red Rebels
Hokyo sat there and a smile spread across his face and Ameena nodded in agreement. “The man that is looking for you is known as Daton he is the current King of this realm, we of the Red Kingdom are the ones trying to change that.” Hokyo said taking a sip from his glass and rising from his seat and walked past Sheena. “You will have to forgive me Sheena, but I must attend to other affairs, but be assured that you have my word that you will be safe within in this encampment.” He spoke, taking his wine glass with him, and down the stage and vanished into the crowd.
Ameena giggled a little as she watched Hokyo leave. “He really isn’t that formal, he just simply can’t seem to forget about a soldiers duty and in this case we are at a state of war so you can assume that he has to push people in order to trust them.” She spoke at Sheena, and looking around she was alone besides the few guards around her. “Why don’t you come sit with me Sheena, you can show me how you got your hair so beautiful.” Ameena had said rather quietly so it was more of a secret between the two.

As Kira listened to her, she could feel her mind finally beginning to process everything. Because of this fact, she found herself smiling and nodding repeatedly. It was as if a curtain had just been taken from her eyes, and she could now fully understand.
"Oh, I see!" She said to the other woman before turning to her, "So, your eyes are just sort of... more sensitive than a normal person, right?" She said, still nodding to herself. But, as the blonde continued, the thief found herself thinking once again. This time, about what the woman claimed was her own ability to read faces. She supposed it was true enough. She could look at someone and automatically determine simple things.
"Yeah, I guess I'm like that, but it's not entirely the same idea. Like... I can tell if I'm not gonna like someone just by looking at them!" She joked with a wide smile. She could tell many things from someone's expression due to her attention to detail, but she just couldn't resist the chance to bring up her hatred for stupid people. It just amused her to no end.
Not a moment later, she found herself taken off of her guard, and she looked forward, her smile gone. One of her hands rose up and rubbed the back of her neck as she thought to herself. The idea of being praised so highly by someone with such unique abilities was hard to believe. Being praised by anyone was not something she was use to, so she wasn't quite sure how to react. Plus, being kind back to someone who had just relayed her a compliment made her cringe a little. She wasn't use to it, but she then again, she wasn't use to the idea that she was actually talking so casually with a girl like this. None-the-less, a thank you was due, she just had to figure out how to say it.
"Uh..." She started quietly, and then looked over at her. Suddenly, she gave a wide smile, and the arm she'd been using to rub her neck so nervously reached out and took hold of the other girl. She pulled her close to her by her neck, and laughed in her usual loud, obnoxious manner.
"I'm not use to getting so many compliments in one day!" She said loudly through her chuckles, "I think a girl could get use to it!"
The little toy watched the witch's movements intently as he sat atop the counter. The man moved about here and there, which brought Gizmo's eyes to the attention of the fact that this witch was nothing like he'd assumed.
He'd figured all witches to be like the one he himself had encountered. Organized, sophisticated, and witty. But this man seemed the complete opposite. The way he rummaged through his cupboards and such made him seem like this wasn't even his own home. He had no clue where his belongings were placed. He spoke rudely and without so much as an ounce of intelligence or poise. This man was not impressive, and the small toy was actually thinking about giving up on this chase for his original form.
Just when he was having doubts, he was stopped when the man began speaking about returning his voice. And then, he spoke of returning his body. This stopped the plushie in his tracks. He suddenly jumped up from his seat and hovered in the air above where he had just been resting, and he stared at the witch. If what he said was true, he would be able to have his body back, something he'd wished for for years. He'd be able to enjoy food and drink again. He'd be able to feel the touch of the breeze and of water and heat. And most importantly of all, he'd be able to speak again. To be able to hold a conversation with people, and show them how he felt and smile and laugh. Before his companionship with Kira, he had been alone, and after she'd found him, his life had been full of adventure and laughter. And he wanted to repay that debt to her. He owed her that.

Kei was hesitant to get any closer than he was. Sure he hadn’t gone on an information binge but well he just didn’t like people in his head when he hadn’t figured things out yet. He would have to ask Blake how to shield his thoughts, she seemed good enough at it. He bit his lip and placed a hand behind his head. His body tingled with this power but at the same time burned. “You know him the best, what exactly is Hokyo’s power?” He could hold on to it but he couldn’t use it if he didn’t understand what it was. There for he had only two options, Daton who would most likely give him riddles and such to make him think or Dark, who was blunter most of the time.

Yune gave a bit of a startled yelp. She had not expected to be pulled n such a way and she lost her balance for a mere moment crashing into kira’s side. But she managed to regain her composure as not to send them both hurtling to the ground. She blinked a few times and then looked down at her feet. “I try not to lie, so you’ll find I speak what I think a lot of the time…. But seeing as how you are, I’m sure you won’t mind.” Kira seemed like the type to speak her mind so she was sure that if she did it then she wouldn’t be subjected to any type of alienation.
But none the less she rubbed the back of her head again and tried to straighten up. “If you like I can take you to the temple. I mean if you get settled now then you can go about and enjoy yourself during the day time.” It was funny that the blond had already forgotten about the red head and her anger towards him. He didn’t even seem fazed when she’d told him he didn’t deserve to know her name. most people would have at least gotten angry. But she shook it off and decided to make the best out of her day with Kira. She could learn new things and maybe if she got lucky, the thief would teach her how to walk quietly.

Ray gave a nod and she stood. Kohikri held out his hand to the woman and she rolled her eyes before she reached behind her and pulled part of her sword out of it’s sheath. With this done she pulled over a small patch of her hair and sliced it along the blade. The witch smiled a bit as the black hair was placed in his hands and turned his back to the two. “being as you don’t have a human body at this time, he needs a base to start with. My hair holds my power, and with that you should be able to speak easily once he is done.” Once done with her explanation Ray pushed the sword back down and retook her seat.
The man pulled over a rather large bowl. He began to throw things in from various glass jars according to page in his book. A smoke began to form from his bowl and he let out a bit of a sigh. Slowly he allowed the hair to drift into the bowel, It made a hiss like sound and popped. Under his breath he chanted softly, they were words in English but they were to quiet to hear unless you were right beside him. This went on for a few minutes before he turned and brought the bowel to the counter beside the plush. “don’t move” He warned, all goofiness from before gone. He had a serious look as he reached into a small pouch around his neck and began to sprinkle what could only be described as dirt over the head of the creature.
Then he looked to his bowel. He placed his hands inside, they disappeared in the smoke, when they reemerged, they were held together, holding the liquid between them. He moved his hands over the plush and closed his eyes “Break what has been made and make anew, this curse unwanted, I now undo” and he dropped the liquid atop the plush’s head. He leaned down and examined the creature. It was only temporary but he’d done it. He could see the little incantations shrinking, but for how long he didn’t know. “hum…. Perhaps we won’t have to wait till night Ray… with your power in it… it seems to have weakened enough, but it is still only temporary.”

The thief was still laughing even after she had let the blonde go from her tight grasp. She placed her arms around her torso, and laughed loudly, her eyes almost tearing up. Seeing the blonde be so easily tricked like that and taken off of her guard was actually fairly amusing. Perhaps it was because in general she found it funny, or maybe it was due to the fact that she hadn't had a companion she could talk to and mess with like this in years. All she had was her little plushie friend, Gizmo. And he, on the other hand, couldn't even talk. Yes, he was faithful and good to her, but being able to talk to someone just seemed to brighten her day, and liven her spirits more so than she had expected it to.
Her laughter slowly died down, and she tried her best to catch her breath. She reached up and brushed the small tears from her eyes, and let out a sigh of relief that she could finally take in cold air again.
"Wow... you're a funny girl, you know that?" She said half to herself as she continued to walk with the other woman. She then turned to her as she spoke, and smiled. The idea of having a place to rest up without having to worry about being arrested was indeed alluring, and so she figured she'd have a go at it. She realized that her little toy friend was not around, but he was a tough little guy, and fast too, so if he got into any trouble, she was sure he'd find a way out of it.
"Sure," She answered the woman's question as she looked forward again, "Let's go and give this priest a little visit. I'm sure once he lays eyes on me, his jaw will drop, and he'll quiver at the thought of letting someone like me into his little holy temple," She said still in her joking tone. Although she was joking, she knew for most circumstances, this was not far from the truth.
The little plushie watched the man mixing the ingredients together, and he made a note to himself to thank the dark haired woman for her sacrifice if this spell worked on him. Unlike his friend the thief, he knew most women treasured their hair, and although he wasn't sure if she had minded much, he figured he'd thank her anyway.
He stood completely still as the witch demanded. He felt the little crumbs of dirt falling onto his head, and then he felt the liquid pouring over his body. While he knew he wasn't possibly able to feel it, it knew in his mind he should be able to, and so as mind over body works, he could feel the liquid seeping into his body, and soaking the stuffing within his clothe outside.
Afterward, he looked up at the witch. Hearing that he may not have to wait brought his hope soaring, and he jumped up into the air, his body hovering above where he had been. He looked at the man as if to ask him something. He wanted to ask when the spell would begin to set in. He wanted to try it out now, but seeing as he was a plushie, he wasn't sure where to begin even attempting to talk.
