Jane's eyes slowly creeped open. With a broad yawn, she blinked herself awake. "Erf...what is it John?"

"I wanted to get up..and you're kind of laying on me..."
John smirked at her a bit, tail wagging.

"Mmph?...oh.." Jane muttered. Lifting her head, she moved iff her mate, allowing him to rise. Another yawn escaped her as she struggled to wake herself fully.

John hopped to his feet, stretching with a slight whimper.
Cypher lifted his head, tilting it to look over at John and Jane.
"Well goooood morning to you two sleepyheads..."

Jane gave Cypher a chilly glare. She was a bit moody first thing in the morning. Slowly she climbed to her feet, shaking out the matted bits of her coat that had come from laying for too long. "How are you feeling John?"

"Sheesh! Someone's moody!"
Yawning a bit, Cypher turned his back on the two, resuming his work.
"Sore..."
John's answer was short and to the point, the pup's legs shaking a bit from the pain.

Jane ignored Cypher, focusing instead on John's injuries. "You should stay in today," she suggested to her mate.

The male grumbled, looking to Jane.

"Yes. I don't want you getting any more holes in you..." She nuzzled her mate slightly, careful to avoid the wounds.

Sighing, John flopped back onto his bed.
"Fineeeee...."
The pup stared ahead into the fire, wondering just what he was going to do to pass the long and boring day.
