Invictus Draconius Kalsidius VI Draco poured the Coca Cola with just two ice cubes. He grabbed the plate with the two slices and slid into the booth across from her. Then the irony hit him and he started to chuckle.
"I haven't been on a date in three years, and this is the closest I've been to having a date. Wow." Draco sucked some of his soda down and picked up the slice and bit into it, as always Tony made the best. As he pulled away the cheese strung out till it broke and Draco closed his eyes to savor the taste. When he was done he looked at her with a grin.
"Or you could have a few slices from Tony's, he does more than pizza though. He has a parlor upstairs for private dinners, pasta, bread, the works. Wine from the Rhineland for the right price. Steak is overrated." Draco chuckled as he sat back and set his pocketwatch on the table.
"Let's see here, the guy is supposed to meet me here in twenty minutes, if he's on time we could get out on the, nevermind you have to go practice. Maybe you should keep a violin in the shed. Practice while we chill there." Draco took another bite of the pizza.

"Whoa there, Draco, back it up. This is not a date. This is not close to being a date."
Amelia finished her reprimand with a distinct look to Draco before turning to her pizza. The first bite was like eating a piece of molten lava. Delicious, mouth-orgasmic lava. This is amazing. She took another bite of the pizza and chewed it slowly; it was less like molten lava this time and more like hot chocolate without a splash of milk. Practice while we chill there? I don't want to make a habit of "chilling" with you. Emerson would kill her if he ever found out; it wasn't because it was Draco she was with (although that played a part) it was more the fact that it was a boy then anything else. He had on more then one occasion hit Amelia for being with the not so fair sex. Which is totally not fair since he goes out and ******** anyone he wants. She bit back a sigh and sipped her cool drink.
"Perfection doesn't come easy, you know. It's bad enough that I'm already out here with you; usually I practice for four hours on Sundays. I'll barely get an hour and a half because of you."
She shrugged.

Lia sat in an expensive black bentley car. She was staring out the window at her new school and home for the school year. Turning her head her green eyes looked over at her father and his new wife. Lia gave him almost a pleading look "Is this nessesary? Do I really have to go?" she asked him.
His eyebrows furrowed as he said "Of course you do, maybe if you didn't get kicked out of your last school you wouldn't have to go to this one" his voice was almost stern like he was trying to be stern with her.
Lia sighed and looked away from him "Just try to behave more at this school all right sweetie?" her new step mother said. Lia wanted to snap at her she has been married to her father for two weeks and already is calling her sweetie and being overly friendly it's a bit disturbing.
She just ignored her and hugged her dad giving him a kiss on the cheek "Bye Dad" she said and opened the door without so much as another word. The driver already had her things out on the ground as he grinned before leaving and driving away. Lia looked at the school before she sighed out again grabbing her stuff and walking forward towards the school.

Emerson was puttering around on the grounds with three of his mates near the front gates, smoking and kicking a football slowly; he stopped paying attention to the current panty-filled story when he spotted Lia struggling up the paved drive to the main building with. The wind blowed gently and picked at her fine clothes and hair. He was confused; it wasn't a big school and he could recognize everyone by sight, if not by name. New student, maybe? A bit late in the term, though...
"Do we know her?"
The story teller paused his night-time (and occasional lunch quickie) adventures to run a quick eye over Lia.
"I don't think so. I'd like to get to know her."
The quartet laughed. Emerson "stepped" his football up into his hands and nodded at Lia.
"Let's go meet and greet, shall we? Be the welcome wagon before the b***h Brigade gets their claws into her."
All schools had their Dark and Light side top dogs. The b***h Brigade happened to be the female half of the Dark side of the top dogs...or at least, that's how Emerson viewed them, him being a firm member of the founders of the Light side. They laughed again and moved quickly to surround Lia. Emerson and Thomas took Lia's bags and fell into a flanking position beside her. He stuck out his hand to Lia to shake.
"Hullo there. I don't think we've met. I'm Valentine. Emerson Valentine."

Invictus Draconius Kalsidius VI "Sorry, just saying it is close, not that it was." Draco watched her bite into the pizza and get that same look he did the first time he ate some of Tony's pizza. Her comment about practicing made him laugh, but the sigh before made him wonder what she was thinking about. He could guess, there was one person always on her mind.
"Well I am sorry Valentine. He should be here in ten minutes and then I can get you back up to the school, hopefully your brother won't see you on my bike." Draco had tossed that line there to see what her reaction would be. He was determined to make her see someone else than her brother.

Lia struggled with her things as her one bag kept slipping off her shoulder and she cursed silently. Usually her things were already in the dorm before she goes to the school but since she is transferring she didn't get that luxury opportunity like before.
She stopped for a minute to take a break as her shoulder was beginning to hurt from the heavy weight that was basically making her want to just drag it to the dorm room. 'Why does the dorm have to be so damn far' she thought to herself.
Just as she was about to start to move along again her prayers were answered when some guys came over grabbing her things. Lia looked at them all seeing they were all good looking 'Must be my lucky day' she thought as she heard them talk to her.
When the one introduced himself her eyes landed on him as she looked him over. Clearly the most handsome or maybe because he was her type if she had a kind of type. Her lip curled up as she said "Well of course we didn't meet I just transfer here and arrived about five minutes ago" her sarcasm coming in but then Lia decided to be nice and gave a small smile as she tucked a hair behind her ear to keep out of her eyes and then reached her hand out to his waiting hand wrapping her small soft hand around his more masculine strong hand. "I'm Liana Mierlia but Lia works for me" she said to him after shaking his hand and letting go.
"So around you guys the welcoming committee?" she asked them not being serious at all "They just tell you when a new student comes in and you wait around for them to show up?"

Amelia shrugged her acceptance of Draco's apology. It wasn't that big a deal to her, really, it wasn't. She bit into the pizza again, loving the way the flavors exploded in her mouth and melded together. She closed her eyes to better taste the mouth-orgasm agent. She opened her eyes, and grinned.
"This is probably the best pizza I have ever had. I'm serious, Draco, it's amazing."
Amelia gave Draco a look over the rim of her cup as she took another gulp from it.
"What does my brother have to do with anything? He's taking me out to dinner tonight and heaven forbid I want to give my violin a stroke or two."

Emerson smiled. His mind quickly shifted through the extensive information stored in there, looking for anything in relation to the Mierlia name. Something in transport, I think. It wasn't a common name, but Emerson didn't recognize it immediately either. Ever the faithful wingman, Thomas pipped up, Lia's bag balanced easily in his free hand.
"Don't flatter us. A beautiful woman struggling with heavy bags is just asking for a foursome of strong men. And who better then the football players? I'm Thomas, by the way, Thomas Savo; I'm the left side striker."
"Where'd you transfer from? You sound like an American."

"You told me that he hated you with other guys. Like I said, if he saw you he might kill, you or me." Draco finished his slice, ignoring her comment about the pizza, he knew it was good. He worked he for a year. If I didn't exercise like I do I would be a fat pig still. Draco sucked down the soda and put the cup down when he heard the bell ring.
"One moment." Draco stood up and walked to the bathroom. Two minutes later he came back out with a fat envelope in his hand. He tucked it into his jacket and sat back down. Draco picked the gold watch up and checked the time.
"Well then, five minutes Valentine. Don't want to make you late to practice." He smiled as he played with the watch his eyes trying to bore into hers.

Amelia shrugged. She finished her pizza by the time Draco came back from the bathroom. I'm already late to practice. She sipped at the luke-warm Coca-Cola and made an impulsive decision. I'm going to pay for this.
"Why don't you come with us? To dinner, I mean. Come on, what do you have better to do? Finish a hallucinogen? It'll be fun. Good food and good people."

She looked over at Thomas and couldn't help the small laugh that came out with what he said as she then shrugged her shoulders "You caught me, it's always been my dream to have some hot football players come help me in some kind of manner" she told him with a smile.
When Emerson asked if she was American she started nodding her head "Yes I'm american, I went to an all girls school before which is torture for any girl" she said shaking her head being glad she got kicked out of that school and more glad that her father picked a school that had men in it. Lia was still wondering though why he asked if she was american "Is there a problem being American, I mean if there is I guess I can take all my bags back and you hot football players can be on your merry way" she said letting out a small chuckle.

Draco chuckled as he slid out of the booth and stretched his arms above his head and then held out a hand to help her from the booth. He was slipping back into the mind set again. The perfect gentlemen.
"I'm game, but I think we should take separate vehicles, you know, in case things get a little rowdy." Draco laughed at the thought, it was going to happen regardless.
"When and where Valentine, and I hope there is seafood there." Draco raised his eyebrow as he helped her from the booth.

"Dinner is at six-thirty, at the Sininen Kuu, in Cheshire; it's a nice little Finnish place that we're fond of. Do you know where it is?"
Amelia left a twenty pound note on the counter on their way out, since Draco seemed in no hurry to pay. A comped lunch meant that it was a date, and a slice of pizza makes a date not. She pulled into her jacket and held her helmet under her arm, not willing to disappear into it just yet. She smiled.
"It's a 'jacket required' joint, dress appropriately. And yes, they do have sea-food. Top grade, if I do say so myself. Definitely worth the kind of money you'll be dropping."

"That's funny. This used to be an all boys school. But I'm sure you knew that already. What's your prospective major? Classic or Standard?"
It was out of the question to ask Lia what she wanted to be when she grew up. Students who could afford to go to Steering did not work for a living. Emerson shook his head. She's just going to get devoured over here, a baby doll face like that with that accent? He almost felt sorry for Lia. Almost.
"Nothing's wrong with being a Yankee gal. It's just odd seeing one over here, especially at Steering. Where are you headed?"

When she heard him ask if she was classic or standard she paused and shrugged her shoulders "I think standard" she said her dad did all the paper work and stuff for her. "I'm here because my dad was going to wait till I graduated to move but under some circumstances we moved early" she said with a hint of a smirk showing that obviously it was her fault that she didn't graduate there.
"And don't call me a yankee girl" she said to him almost having an urge to glare but held it back deciding to keep the nice flow going for now. "And I need to get to my dorm because I have a meeting with the principal or whatever you guys call them over here" she said.
