Zuri sighed and rolled over, just tired. She looked around, Icarus seemed to be what everyone was super intrested in at the moment. The bright she-wolf was still where she was, sitting by Andragos. Tiki smiled and nodded to Olek, she then curled up under a tree, her nose resting on her tail.

xxxxxIcarus nodded at Kora, somewhat curious as to what she had endured on her time gone. He tilted his head to the side as a howl he did not recognize funneled into his ear. He shook the sound off and turned back to Kora, "May I ask of what adventures you endured?" He asked, genuinely interested. It would be great to have a sort of comparison base, for she too had gone off on her own, and independantly trained herself. He was fortunate to have the guidance of the old-souled Olek to aid him in every situation.

xxxxxOlek squawked a greet towards the brown-flowered pup, recognizing the adolescent. She had grown considerably, similar to Icarus, from when he last saw her. Moments later he realized the bird-wolf was nearby, surprised he had not seen her laying there before. With a chirp he fluttered over to her and perched himself on one of her ears. "Good day to you, bird-speaker!"

Andragos decidedly continued to lay. Now was the boring time, not much to do no one to really talk to. Ok so there was Zuki who was sitting next to him as he lay there head in the soft grass but he felt utterly lazy. All the other wolves seem to be lost in their own conversations. He wanted to get lost in a conversation with a member from his pack to learn of what happened as his parents had taken him away forcibly. He had wanted to fight and then... they were gone. The strange bird was talking with Tiki. Tiki. The pretty wolf with furless legs. Not that he didn't like it, it was just interesting that and the way she could speak to birds. He wondered vaguely where Fairyn had gone. Lifting his head he scanned around for her, making himself upright to get a better view.

"Well, I almost got mauled by a bear, but other than that it was pretty uneventful." Kora shrugged. "And I can shamelessly say I ran." It was true, training had almost been boring, except for the first night she was alone and she had had an unfortunate and scary bear encounter. Of course, now she wouldn't have run, but she had still been a pup then.

xxxxxIcarus listened intently as Kora told her story, although short, he still gasped. He was glad to have not experience such a beast himself. However, his story was of hunting large prey, prey that could turn into a predator when agitated. He himself had been chased by an angered stag, who, due to Olek's guidance, Icarus narrowly managed to escape. "That's sounds harsh. No shame in fleeing, though, I would've too as a pup." He barked, reassuringly. Vaguely, he remembered the image of a bear cub he had encountered, likely one of the bear's offspring. Of course, at Olek's words, he had bounded away from the creature at first sight.

Tiki flicked her ears, "Olek? Welcome back!" She spoke softly to the bright blue bird. Standing and stretching, she padded toward Icarus, "Welcome back as well!" She greeted him. Tiki had been there when Olek had chosen Icarus, and that wass when she had befriended both Icarus and his bird.

xxxxxOlek flapped his etheral wings multiple times as he fell from Tiki's ears. Quickly, he regained his height and decided to perch of the bird-wolf's white nose. He stared ate her blue-shadowed white eyes and chirped, "Glad to be back! How have you been, girl?" Beady red eyes searched her face, seeing the magnificent wolf that could easily talk to him up-close for the first time. Other wolves could understand him, but to them, his voice was warbly. The only exception was Icarus, as they held a special bond. To Olek, all other wolves, besides Icarus and Tiki, carried thick, gruff accents as they spoke.

The male shook himself and padded a little ways away to the edge of the clearing. So many wolves! And a familiar as well. The pup was destined for greatness. Paden was certain of that. He smiled and sat back. Taki shook herself and padded over to the middle of the clearing, raising her tail in greeting to Icarus as she licked his cheek. "You've grown! You'll be so handsome when your fully grown you'll have the females pouncing your tail like A'cuil." She chucked and smiled softly, gazing into his eyes.

xxxxxIcarus diverted his attention to Taki who had approached him and yipped happily in response. He bowed his head respectfully towards the adult female and let his tongue flop out of one side of his mouth. "Taki! I'm glad to be back with everyone. So many new faces!" He wagged his tail happily as he matched his pale blue eyes to her green ones. Peering around once more he examined each wolf's face, trying to commit them all to memory. His eyes fell on a particular purple wolf that had padded away, he found his markings to be very unique. Soon after he returned his gaze to the green and black wolf before him.

"Icarus!" Rouqie cried, pouncing onto him once she'd spotted him. He'd grown so much, she'd barely recognized him, through the din of wolves, it was Olek's sudden appearance which had caught her attention. She licked him behind the year and then gracefully bounced off of him, sniffing in his new scent. He'd changed so much from the starving whelp she'd found wandering the forest.
He'd grown into a very handsome adolescent. At the thought of it her eyes wandered again to rebel, who sat disdainful of the conversation, his topaz eyes shimmering under his half-closed eyelids. Rouqie greeted Taki and addressed both her and Icarus: "How have you two been? I caught most of your conversation with Kora, Icarus. You guys missed alot of new arrivals while you were gone." She sighed at that last revelation, they'd need some form of order, and FAST. If they were to survive as a group.
Rouqie barked happily despite her growing worry, happy to feel slight waves of warmth radiating from Icarus again. "It feels strange to think I don't have to protect you anymore." She said with a hint of sadness.

Hearing the staunch loyalty in A'cuil's voice, Rebel averted his gaze from the intensity of his former pack-mate. He had heard the stories, tales of the creatures who formed the Darkness. He had heard the rumors about wolves vanishing into the night, pups going missing, lost lovers, and so on. If there was ever any hope in his heart that the warriors who went to confront the Darkness would ever return, it had died out long ago. He thought they would have sent a sign, a message, something to the wolves that were left behind, if indeed they were still alive somewhere. After all, they had been the best and the brightest. If they had failed, Rebel would hold no hope for any of them to succeed.
Watching A'cuil out of the corner of his eye, Rebel decided not to voice any of his inner monologue. A part of him did have some respect for the older male. A'cuil had always treated him fairly, and the adolescent had no reason to hate or mistrust him. His familiarity was welcome, in this forest where Rebel was accustomed to nothing. He breathed in deeply and exhaled to calm his thoughts. Right now, it was time to go out on a limb.
"Well, if we are going to go find them, or help anything, we should get organized," he voiced, somewhat hesitant. But then, quick as you please, a note of suaveness entered his voice. "Nothing was ever accomplished by such a ragtag group of amateurs, right?" He might have been making a joke. It was kind of hard to tell.
And then he heard it. A howl, unmistakably the voice of a Sure-Claw member. Rebel glanced up at A'cuil and started towards the sound, raising his own voice in a howl to match the call. He would follow the sound through the forest, with or without A'cuil behind him.

xxxxxIcarus turned immediately to Rouqie's voice, only to find with wide-eyes that there was a lavender wolf flying towards him. He let out a gruff 'oof' as he was pounced on. He returned the lick lightly and locked his pale-blue eyes on her. Truly, the motherly sensation he felt when Rouqie doted on him was comforting. It reminded him of the mother of which had faded from his memory.
xxxxxHe barked playfully at Rouqie, glad to have seen her after so much time away. "I've been well, Olek's really helped me toughen up." He said with a strong sense of pride in his voice. A final look at the wolves around. "So many new faces, how many names do you know?" He peered at Rouqie, hoping the gather at least some of the names of the new wolves.

xxxxxHer resounding howl echoed through the forest. Patiently, Clio waited for the response. She paced through the bushes and moments later, the response she was looking for reached her ears. The pair of white ears twitched towards the direction in which the howl came from. In the little time she had to hear the call, she had managed to figure the general location of the other Sure-Claw. She stalked through the foliage, maneuvering around the trees. Once more she sat and howled, hoping to speed up her search for fellow pack mates.
xxxxxKeeping herself in a hunched position, she slowly crept through the forest. Her steps were soundless as she padded over rocks and branches alike. To make herself at least partially visible to her she released a low rumble. This would allow her pack-mates to find her while keeping a low profile within the forest.

The glance over one thick shoulder was A'cuil's only acknowledgment of Rebel's hasty stretch. After watching him for a moment, the larger wolf nodded and took it for what it was. Let him lose hope. He knew how hard it was to keep, having heard nothing from his pack for two long months. Even though he, himself, had run the edge of the forest's trees more than once in all that time. He had run for so long each time, reaching steadily farther out into the encompassing Darkness, searching for such signs... Any sign at all that the pack he knew, friend or enemy alike, managed to survive.
He had found nothing but what few of the Sure-Claw stood in this clearing. And before that, with no one but Rouqie to speak to, he had thought himself completely alone.
"Yes, you're right." A'cuil took him up on his mutual desire to say nothing of their inner thoughts. "We do need to be organized - and you can feel the tension in the air because of it. I think-" He got no farther before the howl stung the air. Lofty and sonorous - yes, that was his pack! Glancing back at Rebel, A'cuil was only pawsteps behind him as he raced for the cry.

°o.O❇ℙ๑ℛ๑ℐ๑ℕ๑ℂ๑ℇ❇O.o° Prine looked around at all the wolves conversing. It was a wolf rainbow. Prince cocked his head when he heard a howl. It wasn't the call of his pack. Prince watched as Rebel and A'quil went off to find the wolf who had made the call. He yawned and he slowly made his way back over to Ceres. Prince snuggled up next to her and in no time at all drifted off to sleep.

When the howl went out his ears perked, listening intently to the sound. It was not the call of his own so he put his head back down, blinking and thinking of the howls his pack used to make. He wondered vaguely who would take charge of this pack, if he could he would want to be an Alpha. It sounded very nice, however he wasn't sure how good of a leader he could be. He believed A'cuil would probably be a good leader, or Roquie only because she was from his pack and he saw a leader within her. However there were others who could be good leaders.
