however as the large demon was leaving a sound was heard followed by a sound like crashing thunder as a loud boom was heard. the large demon was on the ground dead with its head and left arm removed from its body. the figure responsible made its way towards the cave where the others were. ITs aura wasnt demonic however in fact... it was that of a very powerful spirit wolf as it walked forward in wolf form. It was a huge black spirit wolf and was very old as well. Having been around during the last war. As his giant wolf form entered the cave he heard what ayden said about her family and he chuckled some before shifting into his more human form.

Phantom looked confused for a momnt before speaking. He didnt know why shed ask about the forest of all places. " It will be fine. Demons dont care about such things they prefer killing something that screams. If you join us the forest will be left in peace. you don have to worry about it." said phantom completly serious.

Himalaya and Xairan jumped a little out of impulse from the loud boom they had heard. Xairan stood in front of Himalaya, the pups, and Ayden when he saw a new figure enter the cave. When he realized that the figure was the great black spirit wolf, he bowed his head. Himalaya did the same as her mate had done.

"Mating season just began for our tribe" Xairan replied. "We thank you for taking care of the demon...we have heard great stories about you and your tribe Kratos" he said. "My puppies weren't supposed to be born for a couple more weeks. My body absorbed more spirit energy than usual when we traveled through the portal which caused them to mature faster than usual" she explained the whole situation with the pups. "I am Xairan and this is my mate Himalaya...we are from the glacial wolf tribe," Xairan said.

Kratos noded his understnading. ' Yes and it happened at abad time too. the lands aare under attack and the safe havens dwindle in number. Its why my tribe has become more active now. currently you reside in the east territory. the montains behind us block off the demons from the city Omashu on the other side. It has been using the mountains as natural defenses to keep away the demons but virgil has released a large number of huge demons like that one and let them wonder around here and sometimes through the mountains to terrify the people. Hes focusing on the north currently so if you want safe haven omashu is safest your going to get for now. also about halfway through the mountain pass your run into a camp of other spirit wolfs like yourself of the glacial tribe. the snowy mountains make an ideal home for them. Its where i just came from. MY tribe as well has a village within those mountains. you should head that way to avoid as many demons as possible. " suggested kratos. He beleived that they were trying to get away from demon attacks with pups on there hands. He then seemed to notice the angel woman. ' who is that?" asked kratos pointing at ayden.

Xairan nodded, "We haven't been in this territory before. Could you help us get there?" he asked. He knew it was probably asking a lot from him but he wanted Himalaya, the pups, and Ayden to get there safely. "We will join the fight against the demons but for now, we are trying to find a place that is safe for our puppies so that they will be protected...they are only a couple hours old and this journey will be hard on all of us." Himalaya looked over at Ayden, "Her name is Ayden. She has been with my family for three generations, starting with Xain" she said.

Himalaya nodded, "I am proud to know that so many respected Xain. He and Ayden were partners through out the war and even in the end, he still cared for her" she said as she looked at mini Xain. Xairan bowed his head, "Thank you so much for helping us Kratos. It means so much to us" he said.

Kratos smiled and noded. " dont worry about it im happy to help. As you know the population of spirit wolfs are lowering we must do what we can to save our species. Helping you and your pupies falls in that perfectly. so tell me where are you going to go? the town, camp or the great wolf lair?" asked Kratos.
