Classes are over! Yay! Today is our official "study day", during which I am sleeping in, playing around on Gaia, and working. I've only got two real finals, and I'm planning on studying for those on Saturday and Sunday. So now I'm into the hang around campus with nothing to do part. yay!

yay! I'm finished with school! I took my last final yesterday, so now I'm just hanging out, relaxing, getting my stuff packed away and waiting until I have to sing again. biggrin

So I just found out that I'm going to be the only soprano returning to my Chamber ensemble next year. That'll be fun. Both of our first sopranos are graduating, so they're going away to bigger and better things, and my fellow second soprano is taking a semester off, then transfering to USC. I'll be so alone. And I don't know who I can hope for to replace them. We have... very little talent in our soprano section of concert choir. Well, I don't want to sound cocky. It's not necessarily talent, it's dedication. Most of them just don't care. And it's annoying. And I don't want to deal with them next year. I want April and Jessi and Selah to stay! We sing well together! sad

Yay School! heart
... maybe it's a college thing...
So the Chamber Ensemble is pretty much amazing this year. I have my Greta in the Soprano section with me, which makes me really happy, and Jenna joined us, so we don't get drowned out anymore. I kind of want to punch one of our Altos in the throat... but that's only because she doesn't bother to actually read, she just kind of rumbles along quietly on her own made-up part. And Perry joined the tenors, so we have THREE TENORS!! OMG! And they sound really good. And, in general, I'm just really HAPPY with the way things are working out.
And I'm ecstatic to be back here. I get so bored at home...
