(I did read, but I got confused. I'm sorry.)

Jayna followed alongside Kaileigh. She could feel the heat from her powers sizzling around her. If she wasn't careful, she'd end up boiling her own blood, and it took a lot of heat to do that. Her bow already had a black stripe where she was gripping it. She took a few deep breaths to calm down a bit and cut back on her powers. It didn't help that she was absolutely pissed off at the "Mastermind." Who did he think he was? That a*****e had no right to do this to them!

Barry & Simon
Kay Georgiy

"..............Simon................."

Following the hall they were now trapped in turned out to be a good thing. Finding another door up ahead, Kay bounced up to it and casually stuck her head through the metal to look at the other side. An empty room, with doors lining the semicircular wall opposite. Pulling her head back out the door, she pushed it open and nodded to say it was clear of guards. Nue taking it to mean that it was safe, dashed past to sniff at the doors, trying to find which one was the right one to go through. Without warning, an almighty flash lit the room accompanied by a shrill whine. A single beam of red light shot from the wall physically lifting her from her feet and throwing her accross the room. Simon let out a strangled cry and pushed past Kay to rescue Nue from whatever had shot her.

At the sound of a sharp crackle, Simon turned to look back at the way he had came. The door had been replaced by an electrical field, which none of the group could pass through. The other doors in the room had been similarly covered. Reaching Nue, he carefully lifted her up and moved to the middle of the room, hoping to see and dodge whatever had shot her. A red glow from the ceiling attracted his attention. The red beam that had hit Nue had been fired into a small obsidian sphere in the ceiling. It gained a darker glow and spread a ray of the red over the ceiling. With the same shrill whine from before, the ray that had covered the roof, decended in a slow movement. Dropping to his knees, Simon looked over at the rest of the group with tears streaming down his face. "I don't think I'm getting out of this one alive. Barry, if...no when you get out, pass on my tale of how it happened. Don't make things up about it, but keep it as truthful as you can right to the end. Just don't give up." With a smile on his face, Simon looked bravely to the ray that was less than half a meter away from him. With a wave of his hand, a thick wall of ice grew between himself and the door, sheilding himself from sight to spare them having to watch. Still visible through the ice though was the red from the beem as it sunk to the floor then faded out. As the light faded, so did the energy field accross the door. With nothing left to lean on, the ice collapsed on itself revealing an empty room once more with no sign that there had ever been two immortals in the room.

When the field dropped, Jayna immediately nocked an arrow to her bow. Her jaw dropped, and her arm with it although she kept her bow drawn, when she saw that the room was now empty. "Holy crap," she whispered, the sound carrying even though she'd spoken almost silently, "I ain't goin' in there."

Kaileigh went wide eye at the scene that had unfolded before her eyes. She could feel her hands shaking at her side the water around her pulsing with the swirl of emotion going on inside her. She crumbed her hands into fist trying not to lose control.

Norgra watched trying hard not to laugh at the others sorrow she had no ounce of compassion in her whatsoever she looked into the room. " That was.... interesting... no need to be sad bravery should not be cried upon but applauded..." she said not caring if she helped or not she looked around and saw Kaliegh shaking " Have you not seen death before? How pathetic, people die everyday its nothing to fear." she said seriously her slitted eyes looking at each of them in turn " Are we ready to face the facts and move on, I'm getting bored." Freyja was trapped inside her void watching now through two pillars of vision watching what just happened she too cried but Norgra wouldn't see her here.

Lt. Jansen Cygnar ”Fear monger”
*sigh* Yep, sigh indeed....

Jansen watched from the back of the group, unable to do anything to help he merely sighed to himself.
"Regretfully, Freyja is right... We don't have time to sit around. but again she is also wrong... Of course Kaileigh has seen death, we all have. After all we are immortal and have lived for longer than any other being on this planet and yet you try to say we have not seen death? Death is commonplace in our lives and you of all people should know that by now. It doesn't make it any easier to deal with..." He said with his usual monotone. The room looked harmless except for that dark red orb. It seemed like it was emitting sort of laser, or energy, or something. Whatever it was if the orb wasn't there then neither would the beam be. He raised his gun and opened fire at the ceiling, cracking the orb and hopefully rendering it useless.
"Right, Kay... I don't know how your powers work but surely that 'thing' wouldn't be able to hurt you. You're the best choice to go first." His logic was probably correct, but it had just vaporised two people, and volunteering someone else for possible death probably wouldn't go down too well.
2also, if that 'thing' is broken, may I be the first to suggest one door each. We don't know where they go, but there is one thing I can say for certain. The mastermind will get what's coming to him from at least one of us."

Barry Jones
Oh snap...

Barry had been silent from the moment that Simon had started speaking. He also hadn't moved from the spot, but had gone slack out of shock. When the ice fell and shattered on the ground, it felt like his heart was shattering right there with it. He was aware that some of the others had spoken, but his brain refused to hear what they had said. Until that one sentence. " Are we ready to face the facts and move on? I'm getting bored..." Everything that he had bottled away so that he could try and live a peaceful life with Simon, sparked. Every negitive emotion that he had stored, every painful memory, every single bit of rage and pain. Somewhere in the back of his mind, Barry felt strangely calm, as though he was standing in a field of grass fluttering in the breeze. He felt light enough to float with the breeze. The scene that unfolded seemed to him as if he was watching it on a fuzzy television, distant and pointless.

"You have to be f***ing kidding me. You have got to be F***ING KIDDING ME!!" Barry turned to face Norgra, a fire in his eyes that even she would recognise. A look of hate, anger and unchecked rage that needed to go somewhere. Keeping his eyes on her, Barry walked forward with slow and precise movements until he was half a meter away, his eyes blazing, yet icy cold at the same time. Gesturing at the wall beside himself, a small lump of metal shot out of it and was caught by Barry in his left hand. Pulling at it with his right hand, it stretched as if it was nothing more than clay in them. Instead, he had a solid spike of steel inn his hand formed into a single spike about a foot long. Touching the end of his finger with it, a small drop of blood formed where it had touched. "Make no mistake. I have seen death before, many times, but always people that I have no connections with. To you, this is one of those moments, but to me.... I can forgive you for not feeling anything for him, but I cannot just let you mock him. PATHETIC! BORING! You use these words directed at a man's death. I just cannot forgive you." Even while speaking, Barry didn't move his eyes from Norgra. Jansen would be able to feel that his rage, spiking with each shout which was acompanied by the sounds of groaning metal as the corridor buckled inwards towards himself and Norgra. Other than the shouts however, his voice was cold and void of emotion. With no wasted movements, Barry lunged at her, aiming for her lower body with the spike, intent on making her death as painful as possible.

Kay Georgiy
Do I need glasses?

Pulling her eyes away from where Simon and Nue had been, Kay watched as Jasen shot the orb in the ceiling. It fell in several shards which bounced on the ground before settling. Not saying anything about the comment on death, she stepped next to Jansen at the entrance to the room, not quite inside it. Looking at the doors she noticed a small green light set int the handle of them. It was only lit on six doors. "I'm not really sure about that beam. It wasn't something solid, so I'm not sure if I can phase through it or not. I don't want to find out either. On the other hand, it only shot Nue on the second door that she tested. The first door that she went to had a light on it. Now it doesn't. I can't be sure but I think the first door has a picture of something on it. I can't make it out though..." Hearing someone else speak, Kay turned round to see Barry facing Norgra a small way down the hall. Physically flinching with each shout and groan of metal, Kay could only watch as he lunged at her.

Jayna lunged to intercept Barry, making her hand hot enough to melt metal. She grabbed the spike in Barry's hand and put her hand on his chest once the spike was gone. "Barry, stop. I know you're upset. I know how it feels to lose a family member, but attacking Freyj--Norgra--won't bring Simon back, and fighting amongst ourselves won't help either, 'kay? We gotta focus on getting outta here."

Kaileigh closed her eye's for a moment and sighed giving a moment of silence to Simons death. It was the best she could do to honor the man's death with where they were and the situation at the moment. She could hear everyones talk and shouting about the death. Of course she'd seen death before how could she be this old and not have? But ever death was different and came with a different set of emotions. Kaileigh opened her eyes to see Barry lunging at Norgra, not that she didn't deserve Barry action but Jayna was right now wasn't the time. She stepped forward, "Come on Barry she's no where near worth it." She then joined Jansen and Kay at the door out of the hall.

Barry Jones
Give him a bit of space.

Despite his best efforts to brutally maim/kill Norgra, Jayna moved impossibly quick to melt the spike out of his hand. Not wasting the movement, Barry swung his fingers from the floor to Norgra and swept the molten metal at her in a wave of pain. Feeling the touch of someone on his chest, he again swung his hand round backhanding Jayna across the jaw hard enough to burst a lip and cut the inside of her gums. "DON'T F***ING TOUCH ME!!!" With his breath laboured and his chest heaving, Barry let out an animal scream and punched the wall next to himself as hard as he could. Even without his power, he left a deep dent in the metal with his first punch. Even though there was the definite crack of broken knuckles on the second punch, he still launched for a third. The sharp clean pain as he felt his remaining knuckles snap broke through his anger enough to finally let the grief hit. Sinking to the ground as the tears ran down his face, Barry's grief filled cries echoed down the corridor.

Jayna rolled with the punch so that, even though he split her lip, Barry's fist did less damage than it could have. She wiped the blood from her mouth and stopped the bleeding with heat from her hand. After Barry sank to the ground, Jayna knelt beside him and wrapped her arms around his shoulders, ignoring his warning not to touch him. "Just let it out, Barry. That's the best way to deal with this."

(Note: If this seems like I'm trying to add somance into this, I'm not. Just so's you know.)

Norgra held out a hand and the gravity in front of her dragged the wave of metal to the floor she looked at each one in turn. " Don't talk to me as if I'm one of you because i am not. I have seen death, hatred, wars, but none of this has any negative effect on me. It fuels me. I am simply the manifestation of feelings this stupid girl can not release herself. I've been around for 500 years hiding and feeding off the inner feelings this girl holds. Heh I've killed many for her... ended her pain and sorrow many times and yet i never get thanked. Before you go off and try to reason with me just know don't start i don't give a crap about anything any of you has to say i just want to see and taste blood again before I'm put back to sleep. It's sad for Freyja though because it will be a long while before she can awaken." she stopped talking for a moment and pointed back " The thing that usually gets rid of me along with the last remaining option is back there. So if you hate me go ahead you will fuel my power to certain ends. When you learn to draw power from your emotions you are strong. So Barry let me tell you you have gained my respect because you have learned to use your emotions for powers. Everyone i have seen that has done that actually stood a chance against me." She smiled kindly for a split second then closed her eyes and adopted her normal phase. " Now seriously can we move on?" Freyja watched from her void and pounded against the walls of it as if trying to pry herself out she saw a small control board looking thing and realized it was made of plastic she studied it then realized she could hack Norgra's brain if only for a second. She would have to find the right combination of buttons though so she sat down and studied it some-more and focused she entered in some buttons and saw the vision freeze. She blinked and 'Norgra' blinked so she closed her eyes and then she realized she had control. " Guys listen... she is right this is only temporary but listen to me. Whenever i had heavy feelings of hate.. or sorrow, i would always sleep. That's where Norgra came from that's how she grows stronger, i have no capability of showing my emotions, she does this for me in the emotions i can not show. Anger, Envy, Sorrow, Greed. She posses all of these... I will work on my end to bring myself back but she is stronger than i am, she can fight better... and she is more powerful than any of you could imagine from someone like me. I wanted to let you know i can hear you... i can't respond but i can see what she sees and i can hear what you say to her. So please don't lose hope for me. Stay with me and give me the hope i need so i might find a new way to bring myself out of this trance." With that Freyja closed her eyes and started to shake all over her body angrily.Norgra awakened and jolted her eyes open " Little witch!" she said cursing under her breath " Keep quiet you shy little pathetic little weakling!" she screamed eyes flaming before calming down.
