Was what she finally realized for herself. "That's why I want you to fight me making you submit...""..and now I'm making you bow down to me."

 "Why do you want me to fight you...?" He asked softly and looked into her eyes. "I don't understand... You want me to fight, but you don't want to win the fights." Markus felt so confused and unsure of her and the whole situation. "You want me to make you submit to me?"

"I am who I made myself be..."Faith shook her head, "You just don't get it..." She took a deep breath and sighed it out slowly, "I had a family." Starting in this strange place she made her point. "I loved a man and had a child...but he's gone and took my girl with him...and now..." She placed her hand on his chest, "I've been alone...and I wanted someone to fill the space...make me forget..." She looked up at him, "Fighting...it makes it so you can't leave me...because you aren't mine to begin with." She looked down, "But by giving in..." She trailed off, not sure how to finish. "..and now I'm making you bow down to me."

"You're right... I don't get it..." He said softly and looked down into her eyes. "I don't understand how fighting could keep me from leaving." Markus cupped her chin and looked into her eyes, "If you want someone to love, don't treat me as an object... Treat me as someone you want to love and the love will be returned..." He said softly and released her face. (I don't even understand... *cocks head*)

"I am who I made myself be..."Faith smacked his hand away. Not in anger or aggression, but simply an act of removing him from holding her chin as she looked away from his eyes. "Far from it." She said bluntly, "I never want to love or be loved again. It's better that you learn to hate me." It wasn't in her nature to hate or to wish such a thing for herself. But she was in pain and wanted to avoid more. "..and now I'm making you bow down to me."((quite basically, she doesn't want to love or be loved again. by fighting, he can't hurt her emotionally because she won't attach to him. if she won then the fight would be over and she might like him too much, defeating the purpose. what she wanted was a distraction without any commitment or attachment))

Markus narrowed his eyes and released her fully. "Fine... Then you will receive no love from me." he growled and shoved past her as he started off deeper into the woods. He hated always having to fight, he's had to fight his entire life! Coming here he had hoped he would have been able to atlease relax some what... But no. All Faith wanted was him to fight her... One thing he was growing tired of... (Ahhh... I get it. oh boy Markus is gonna end up just being cold to her and non responsive if that's how she's gonna be.)

"I am who I made myself be..."Faith waited until he was out of sight to react, sobbing and collapsing to the ground. This wasn't working. "Dammit." She hissed. Closing her eyes tightly, tears still slipped through. She was beyond frustrated. Her biggest surprise was that she'd almost fallen for him, and had scared her. She had to keep him at a distance...but he made it difficult for her to do just that. She rubbed her tears away and took a deep breath. "..and now I'm making you bow down to me."((she's sadly very complicated deep down >.<' ))

Markus sat down on a pile of rocks and ran his fingers through his hair. If he really wanted to he could leave... And he knew Faith loved Bella too much to do anything to her or hurt her... He folded his ears back and shook in frustration. "FOr god's sake... What the hell am I gonna do..?" He growled and then his ears purked up at the sound of sobbing. He quietly made his way back to Faith and watched from a distance as she sobbed into her hands. He folded his hears back and remained hidden, 'Why would she be crying..?'(Ahhh... I get it. oh boy Markus is gonna end up just being cold to her and non responsive if that's how she's gonna be.)

"I am who I made myself be..."Faith wrapped her arms around herself, "Damn it Caligus...why...?" She knew why...but it didn't make things any easier, "What am I going to do?" She sat against a tree and looked up into the branched, "I don't know anymore...""..and now I'm making you bow down to me."

Markus folded his ears back and looked away from the scene. He wished he could comfort her but she didn't want him to care for her... He sighed and slowly approtched her. "Faith...?" He called softly and looked down at her. "I don't know what happend to you in the past... But I'm not the one who hurt you." Markus then offered his hand as he looked into her eyes, "Let's get back to the house..."

Her lip quivered and took his hand in her own, pulling and wrapping her arms around him, burring her face in his chest. She breathed heavily, trying not to cry any more now that he was there, "I know you aren't.""..and now I'm making you bow down to me."

As Faith held him for the first time, his muscles and body didn't grow tense... They were soft and welcoming. He wrapped his arms around her and gently stroked her hair. "Just let it out... Remember?" Markus looked down at her and smiled, "What happens out here, stays out here..." He said softly hoping to make her feel better.

After a deep breath she wiped her tears away once more and cleared her throat, "And how could I not? You would have bit my head off if I didn't...and that sweet girl wouldn't do well in the system alone...I couldn't do that to her.""..and now I'm making you bow down to me."
