"Well, I'm no slouch when it comes to training. Also, I bet you didn't know my mother was extraordinary with Taijutsu during her prime." He was telling the truth. One time, when Yuki was younger, they were out walking around Konoha late at night. Mrs. Yamanaka heard a strange noise coming from the forest and began to panic. Her first instinct was to not protect her child, but to brandish a butcher knife from who knows where and to accurately throw the utensil. Despite it being nothing more than a skunk prowling through the undergrowth, Yuki was amazed at her reaction and pinpoint accuracy. To this day, His mother doesn't admit to the act, since the neighbors would not stop complaining about the smell and were quite suspicious of sabotage from the Motherly Yamanaka. Rumors flew around that her temper has more control over her than her brain, which easily angers her. But I digress. Yuki finished in his head as he watched his opponent began charging some type of ninjutsu. At first, he had created a small ball of energy that quickly transformed into a huge beam of energy that was aimed at the Yamanaka. Since it was a predictable blast and Yuki was pretty sure it was nothing spectacular, he rolled out of the way of the attack. "Nice try, but you should have taken your own advice. Don't go for straightforward with Ninjutsu unless there's a reason behind it, like a fast jutsu or if you have a backup plan." He tried to not mock Hisaki too much, since it was only training, but his nature got the best of him. (FINALLY I DODGED SOMETHING.)

"I'm starting to doubt if you're taking this sparring match very seriously." He said with a small smile. Yuki knew how playful the Hyuuga got. He would rather have fun then sit down and do something serious, but this spar was supposed to help Yuki against Notwen. "I want to be able to hold my own against Notwen. Theories and learning jutsu by the book comes naturally to me, but my reflexes and combat experience are abysmal." The Yamanaka dashed towards his friend, this time trying something new. Sprinting towards Hisaki's right side, he made another feint, he tried to look like he was going to just run by his friend. That was until Yuki threw out his right arm and tried to go for a lariat that would surely knock the Hyuuga off his feet. It seemed like an intense move to use, but he figured that his jester-hat wearing opponent could handle the damage.

(Sorry. You know why I haven't been on. Lets get this moving to the fun stuff now.) Jin could only frown to himself when Notwen sat down before him. Sucking his teeth, Jin broke his form and walked towards the guy. So he's officially gone from the Night Elf Mohawk to Papa Smurf. Jin remarked in his mind. For a moment he watched the transformation that Notwen's body had gone through during his meditation. With a heavy breath he shrugged his shoulders and pressed the tips of two of his fingers against Notwen's forehead. "Don't mind this. Just marking you." Jin said. A pulse of weak electricity surging from his body to Notwen's own. Grinning, Jin stepped back and watched Notwen. No one knew of his fighting style as of yet. The most anyone had ever known about him was the fact that he was a spear user. And while it was not commonly known. It was through the Tonbogiri, his spear, that his powerful electrical attacks took form. From Sora and his own countrymen to all the participants in the exams and viewers alike, no one had seen him fight without the spear. Let alone truly preform any techniques. But that was more on his own fault. Jin had never truly trained himself correctly as a shinobi. No. Instead he had spent his days in the academy doing something different. Jin had always wanted to be the best of the best. To stand out as a legend in the eyes and mind of all. But not as a warrior who strode through his foes. Jin's goal was to be the man that was loved for his ability to give all strength. And feared as the one who could take it all away. To stand as that wonderful hero all until the moment he had his grip around their throat and ask if he was still that hero. A man, legendary for his ability to judge all. Because he was above all. And for this reason, Jin chose not to study to learn the techniques that were globally known to shinobi. Unlike most shinobi, he spent his time in one of four ways. The first of which was home, surrounded by books of science and tools of creation. Rather then studying ninja arts, he toyed with chemicals and compounds and developing new trinkets. Usually using family heirlooms as the core of his creations. Jin took the objects apart and reassembled them into instruments he could use in combat. The second way he spent his time was honing his body and spear handling abilities. This was his alternative to constantly training his chakra control and practicing jutsu. His third way to spend time was reading philosophy rather then the text provided by the academy. And the fourth was to live. Ignoring the handbook. Forbidding himself to turn into a simple tool. Jin learned to react to his emotions but use his logic to guide his actions. Jin took in a deep breath. And with his exhalation, his body began to generate small pulses of electricity. They were simple and weak. But they sufficed to work in the same fashion as ultrasound. The pulse that escapes Jin's body penetrates and measures the mediums that it reflects against before returning to him. His nerves recording the data as though he had seen, felt, or heard it himself. It was an unique technique that worked efficiently to keep a record of the motions around him. Allowing him to calculate and predict his foes movements. Accompanied with the use of sending a specific pulse into his target, Jin had found a way to track his targets efficiently without trying. The unique pulse signal was just a huge beacon for him. And more so it worked as a homing signal. It was that exact reason why he had placed it into Notwen. His newest technique was ready to be revealed. Not take this fight seriously? Preposterous! I'm taking this just as seriously as the Rabbit from the Tortoise and the Hare. You remember that one, right?" "The tortoise thinks he such a big shot, with his incredible water speed and impeccable defensive abilities. One day, he challenges the rabbit to a race across the pond. All the animals in the forest think its such a great sport, considering how the rabbit is the lowliest animal of them all. He's not a good hunter, and he's not a good swimmer, and he's supposedly not even that fast on land. But then, the crafty rabbit has an idea, and offers to make the race a biathelon: One stretch on land, and another in the pond," Hisaki searched his memory for more of the story as he raced forward, and simply slid underneath his friend's attempt at a lariat. Once on the other side, Hisaki kept running and spun around to face the Yamanaka. Fingertip placed playfully to his lips, he reminisced about the story a little longer, trying to figure out the ending. It had been such a long time since he'd heard it.

The Turtle and the Hare start with the swimming portion, and end with the foot race. At the beginning of the race, the turtle takes a huge lead, leaving the rabbit drowning near the start. After getting to the other side, the Turtle decides, 'Hey, I'll take a little break, then after that I'll outstrip that silly hare without breaking a sweat.' However, the small break turned into an afternoon nap, and when the hare got to the shore, the turtle was fast asleep. With his soft foot pads, the rabbit sneaked passed the turtle, then raced off at lightning speed to the finish! The rabbit won, and all the forest animals had turtle soup for dinner. The end. You see, if the rabbit had been like the turtle, and not taken things seriously, he'd be soup!" Hisaki shrugged, "I don't know what the actual moral of the fable was. I feel like something was lost in translation, maybe." Hisaki dashed up and took on a stance reminiscent of a boxer's. He weaved left and right, and said as he quickly slid back and forth, "But I do know one thing: That bunny, he was friggen awesome. In the name of such a valiant creature, I must say:" then faked out a few punches, before delivering a flurry of real punches, "FEAR THE BUNNY!" After saying those words, Hisaki internally reflected, You know, I might not be taking this as seriously as I thought...

Listening intently at the story, Yuki shook his head. "Your memory is horrid." He scoffed, "Something was obviously mistranslated." The Yamanaka jumped back a bit as he saw the Hyuuga go into a boxing-like stance and released a few jabs before getting closer to him. The blond expected him to throw a flurry of punches his way, and leaped a yard or so backwards, dodging the attack completely. "In the real fable, it was a foot race between the tortoise and the hare. The hare was easily faster than the tortoise, but he didn't give up. After gaining a huge lead the hare fell asleep as the tortoise crept his way to the finish line." He sighed, "The morale of the story was: Slow and steady wins the race."

As speed and Accuracy are of the utmost importance." He then tilted his head to the side and placed a finger to his lips as he thought, mimicking Hisaki. "Then again, Slow and steady can be utilized if one were using Taijutsu defensively. I actually have no idea, what is your opinion?" Yuki asked, as he leaped backwards into one of the nearby trees, but not before grabbing a rock from the ground. He jumped around the trees, almost looking like he was about to stealth or to run away. However, it was a ploy. He was jumping from limb to limb in a circle around the Hyuuga in the middle. Now! Yuki whipped the rock towards Hisaki and then, as fast as the Yamanaka could, made his way to a nearby limb and launched himself at Hisaki. He had seen this technique used a few times around Konoha, and thought it was a horrible taijutsu to even develop, as it was ridiculous and pointless. However, since Hisaki wasn't taking this serious, why should he. He flew through the air, straight towards his friend with one leg extended, in a prepared kick. With a grin, he shouted, "Dynamic Entry!" as he descended upon his friend.

He had no idea what happened in the physical realm while meditating, but for some reason there was a ticklish sensation on his forehead that just wouldn't go away. A faint glow was coming from Iairihatsu, the silver bangle that was the relic of wisdom. It looks like i learned something new today... thought the long-haired blonde as he began to get back up. Hisaki's earlier words echoed in his head, causing him to sigh in relief. With the help of the pool in the island of Chrona, Notwen would be able to remember Naila and Ginta completely. The bitterness of having lost Soba to Dokuro was easing away as well. One of the first few lessons that the Chuunin had taught the Uchiha was not to let his emotions get the best of him. Notwen had forgotten this lesson in the heat of battle and it cost him two friendships. The weight of his present situation began to press down on the Uchiha's shoulders. He was a traitor that everyone saw as the scum of the earth. Sensei, what would you do in this situation? Notwen thought, mentally forming his late sensei's projection in front of him. Soba rubbed his chin thoughtfully. " All i can say is to keep moving forward. If you are planning on leaving the village, do so. There's no use in trying to correct any wrongs you may have done." Notwen nodded as the projection dissipated. The Uchiha heaved a long sigh, causing the weight of his troubles to lift away. He was now ready to take the next step in his life.

" Right, let's see this technique you've been speaking of!" said the Uchiha now pumped. Whatever it was that the Jogger would throw at him, he was certain he could stop it. Since the long-haired blonde did not have his sharingan active, he could not see the color, nor the nature of the Jogger's chakra, he did not know what kind of attack to expect, and the ticklish feeling on his forehead still lingered. Did he do something to me while i was meditating? Notwen wondered as he made himself ready to receive the attack.

((Making a locating check on jin and den just in case and all)) inx2 + awareness vs 0 = 800+100(byakugan buff)= 900 vs 0
Off near the outskirts of the town, Sentai sat upon a sort of reclining chair within his allotted space as he was the Tsuchikage and not an ordinary exam viewer. Being the Tsuchikage did come with many perks like this when it came to certain events where multiple nations would come together and celebrate for once instead of try to kill each other; which was also the downside of being the Tsuchikage or any kage at that. All this aside Sentai was taking his time to rest after dealing with his battering at the hands of Sai Orasaki who's strength always seemed to come out of nowhere, but in his observations seemed to still dwell within his being. However Sentai was lucky as he was left barely damaged, mostly due to his level of stamina and to a lesser extent his ability to withstand such attacks.
Casting his near blank gaze out of the closest window Sentai could see a group of his villages genin huddled around a small screen which sat upon a table within one of the many tents which occupied the area. With the effortless activation of his Byakugan Sentai gazed past his genin in order to see the screen, on which the figure of Kamizuru Hana stood wearing strange items that were clearly not hers which in Sentai's mind could only mean one thing, that she was not taking her opponent seriously unless there was a method to the girls maddness. "Well Hana I'm glad you represented us well, not as how I would have approved but you did get yourself through the round without causing unnecessary harm to either of you." Sentai thought to himself, slowly realizing that he had flaked and clearly missed out on the majority of the battles which were to take place.
With his Byakugan still active Sentai quickly scanned the area around his makeshift abode and further into the outskirts of the village picking up on two noticeable characters who appeared to be preparing for something and not completely fighting although chakra was being used by both of the beings. "Hmm two shinobi I would assume appear to be doing something not too far from here, maybe I should go check it out and see whats going on." Sentai said to himself as he lazily stood from his chair, his claws slightly digging into the arm of the chair. As he was not expecting to run into any truely battle worthy people Sentai decided to leave the Mountain Cleaver within his room as the blade would be more than noticeable, and with his metalloids hidden within his clothing and body Sentai would surely not require it.
Slipping through the poorly lit hallway of his building Sentai opened the front door causing light to illuminate the hallway causing the dust within the air to show itself as it lazily floated about the air. Then with one sudden chakra laced bound Sentai leapt up into the air using his momentum to glide a bit before landing. The jump itself was only meant to let Sentai get his juices flowing, and from this Sentai began his walk towards the two beings while slipping his usual black cigarette between his lips and lit it by charging the end with his blackened chakra releasing the herbal properties and smell of his cig into both his body and the air.

Hisaki suddenly saw an object honing in fast on him. Instinctively, he turned to block, and caught a small rock against the side of his arm. The attack was moderately painful, and was exacerbated by his untreated burns. Hisaki yelped, and grabbed his reddened arm. The attack made him blind to the incoming kick. Simply put, it connected. The Yamanaka's foot nailled Hisaki in the top of the head, and he immediately fell down to the ground.

Following that was a crafty one-two punch. The first punch was weak and fast. It was meant to both mark the distance away Hisaki was from Yuki, as well as temporarily distract him from his second fist. The second punch, unlike the first, was full power. This powerful cross punch, if it were to connect, would likely send Yuki down to the ground.

Jin watched Notwen. His teal blue eyes locked onto his opponent's own eyes for a moment. Had Notwen's sharingan been active, Notwen might have noticed the contact lens that covered Jin's eye shift to reveal a different color slightly. But the revealing moment was only just that, a moment. With Jin's next blink, the lens would shift back to it's normal place. And when his eyes opened again, a fierce look would spread across them. His face would harden. And pulses of electricity would subtly move through the area around them. Bits and pieces of scraps and objects shifted slightly as they became charged. And little did Notwen know, his own body was becoming charged similarly. However it was only due to the difference in mass that it took longer for his body to succumb to the effects. The grass, dirt, rocks, benches, trash bins, trash. All of it was becoming charged. But the elf's body required slightly more charging first. So Jin let his head drop to his chest. With a sad shake, Jin raised it back up and grinned foolishly. There was nothing to laugh at. But it was a simple ploy for time. "Are you sure? Finished preparing yourself?" Jin asked. He needed slightly more time. In the future he would need to learn a way to charge up and discharge faster. Jin sucked his teeth. His head turning to face the fat, old man that was walking towards them. Shaking his head he turned to face Notwen again. The dirt and rocks that were near his body began to rise up around him. At the same time blue sparks of electricity began to surge out of his body. The volts struck out around him violently. It was all for show. He didn't need all the antics but if it bought him time and caused the onlooker as well as Notwen to believe that was how his attack started off then it was needed. This way in the future. If need be. Jin would be able to simply strike without warning. Leaving his foes and targets to believe that there was a needed demonstration before hand. "By the way. The name is Jin Taega." Jin said. The black bandanna that held his hair down flipped off with a slight pull of his chakra. His blue hair was now revealed and who he real was, was now fully obvious to anyone. Pulling his arms in and twirling them as though to build energy, Jin watched Notwen. And with one decisive movement, Jin snapped his arm out with his palm facing his target. All that had been polarized, from the dirt to large objects, was pushed aside. And then with a powerful force, Notwen, if he could not hold his own and stop the pulses, would be lifted and blown back and into the stranger. Quote: End: Chakra: 2273 Stamina: 1152 Fatigue: 0/115 Notwen kept his hazel eyes trained on the bandana-wearing jogger. The air between the two seemed to get charged with something other than the tension that was building. The Uchiha's eyes moved suddenly to the items that were beginning to move around by themselves. There was a breeze blowing, but the objects were moving in an odd way, as if a poltergeist was tipping them any which way. The Jogger smiled a goofy grin and asked Notwen if he was certain that he had finished preparing himself. He thought about it, then brought his hands together as if in prayer. This allowed thermal energy to flow into the long-haired blonde's fingers, giving them more flexibility. Flexing his freshly warmed hands, Notwen turned to face the Jogger. " All done." he called back with a smile. The Uchiha always got excited when he was in some confrontation, physical or not. He could remember Soba telling him not to get so worked up over solving newspaper puzzles. At this point Notwen could see the electrical pulses shooting out of the Jogger. What the hell?! he thought as the blue volts struck the ground and other objects violently. The memory of the showdown in the maze flashed in the long-haired blonde's mind as he recalled the masked kid. " By the way. The name is Jin Taega." Jin finally declared, his chakra causing the black bandana to come loose and revealing his blue hair. After pulling in his arms and twirling them, Jin thrust his arm out, scattering all of the polarized objects with a wave of invisible electrical energy. The statement caught Notwen off guard, causing his fingers to slip while weaving the seals for Cobalt Inferno. So that's the guy who turned on me for my stone in part one of the exams! thought the long-haired blonde. The energy wave struck him before the wings of blue flame fully formed, sending him flying backwards. Luckily his white vest absorbed most of the force. Suddenly, Notwen collided with something sturdy and fell to the ground. Looking up, he saw a well-built man decked out with clawed metal gauntlets. He had white eyes and facial hair.

Turning around quickly, figuring Hisaki would go straight for some type of counterattack. He announced the score before sprinting towards the blond and pulling another type of boxing move. Yuki tried to utilize the air around him, since making a basic attack with his natural affinity would be easier than if he used another element, like earth. He tried to make a counter by palming the air and releasing his chakra into it, creating a small blast of wind towards Hisaki. If it had connected, it would have knocked him backwards. However, the Yamanaka must have missed something, for he felt the two punches connect. First a small, light punch, and then a full force punch that had hit his cheek, hard. It sent him spiraling to the ground. Yuki leaped from his position and back onto his feet. "Three to one." He announced, rubbing his jaw that now ached, "Remember, this isn't over yet. Tortoise and the Hare, remember?"
