It was then that the Necromorphs rushed in.
Roland held out the rifle, using only one arm, shooting at them all, cutting through their limbs instantly and cutting them down. One tried to come from behind. Roland flipped his arm around so that the rifle shot behind his shoulder, shooting the slasher enough times in the chest to rip it into pieces.
Afterward, he then let Alik go before walking off.
